The room was clean however.. The air conditioner blew cold air on the person sleeping on the hidabed. When the air con was turned off, the bedroom was too hot to sleep in. There are not enough towel hooks for three people. The open shower splashes water onto the bottom of the wood door which is now starting to swell do to the moisture. I had to ask for more pillows and with the air conditioner on , I need another blanket for the hidabed.

Very clean cozy and comfortable hotel. Stayed in a king suite for a friend's wedding. Room was beautiful with 2 large tv's, 2 couches and a king bed in a separate room. Bathroom shower didn't have a closing door which was strange, but I liked it. Amenities are quite pricey. 4 dollars for a regular coffee in the lobby.. 50 dollars for breakfast.. Ouch!
Hotel is in a great location. Especially with downtown Markham developing just around the corner. There is a lot of parking around the hotel which is also a plus. Service was good. Rooms were clean and also well stocked with all the essentials you need. All in ask this Is a nice hotel especially for how old it is.
Great place. Employees are attentive and smile. There is a nice hall where the bar is which is quite nice with couches and tables. I had salmon at the restaurant, it was really tasty and properly cooked. I had a nice chocolate cake at 9pm which was nice. The only weird thing was a dirty pen which seemed to have been used to clean an ear, otherwise all good and will go back for sure!
My stay at the suite I rented was quite enjoyable, the service was stellar and employees were too kind. Service was fast and reliable, I was always treated with respect. The room was great, very appropriate furniture and comfortable beds. Overall had a great experience and would recommend this location to those who wish to explore and discover Unionville.
Had our wedding reception at the Hilton about a year ago. It was amazing. The staff on site, especially Loraine, was very accommodating. A year to the day we had our anniversary dinner there, and they were able to get the chef that cooked the meal. It was as delicious as I remembered. Would definitely recommend and go again
I wish there was a no-star. First of all, front desk clerks were rude and unhelpful. Coming in from a 8-hour drive, I'm not expecting much, just want a clean bed at 3 o'clock in the morning. Also, we had to sign this non-party agreement when we checked-in since it's New Years eve. I would be fine with it, but why did the white guy in front of us not have to sign it then. That didn't make sense to me.
After observing the interaction between this clerk and the man in front us, I was expecting the same service. The clerk told the man aboht how to access the Wi-Fi and how to get to his room (which way to his room)Do you think we got the same service? NOPE! All he care about was telling us about the no-partying in the room rules and we are responsible for any damage. (dude, I know people party, but we looked like we were going to pass out right there at the lobny) After finishing signing all he said was "here's your keys!" Nothing else, I had to ask him how to get to our rooms and access the Wi-Fi since I needed to work.
Finally getting up to our rooms, which was colder than outside. We turned up the heat, waiting for to kick in. I decided to take a hot shower, our shower head was broken. Dude seriously!?!?!?! The shower head would not stay down so you have to hold it down, I ended up just using a hairtie to hold it down. At 3am, I'm too tired to complaint.
Called our friends room to make sure everything was okay, and then hung up getting ready for bed. Our friens knocked on our room asking if our phones are ringing. We said no, went to their room and their phone is going off at 3 o'clock in the morning. No one all the other line after we pick up the phone and it still ringing after we picked up. We go down stairs to see if maybe they were trying to call us, (there's 2 front desk persons now) they said no and said they don't know why that would be happening. I said how can we (our friends) sleep if the phone is going off. Their response is unbelievable. "Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in?"Ummm....that's not my job. I paid for a room, not to fix a broken phone. They said that they would see if they can send a service person up and by this point I was already don't with this place. We (our friend) just left the phone unplugged to sleep.
Get back to my room after a wasted trip down stair to see what happen to our friends phone, still cold. Heat not working. Ugh. So disappointed at this hotel at this point. I'm not making another wasteful trip down, luckily I saw an extra blanket down stair in the closet, pulled it out and covered myself head to toes. Sleep time.
Get woken up by the failed "black out" curtains, hop in the shower still broken. Ugh... But good news is the heat finally kicked in. So room is liveable now. We leave early to visit family and breakfast.
Come back for a nap cause we're still super tired and get woken up my our friends in the other room. They said they had a visitor, so we walk over. There's a bug that they had to get rid of coming down from the ceiling. Its was yellow and disgusting. All we're thinking is one more night. Let's get pass one more night.
Next morning, we woke up early and checked out. I informed the AM front desk clerks about the bug and they just said. "Oh really?" and said me what my email was to send the receipt. I don't expect anything else at this point.
So disappointed with this service, how are they a four-star hotel. Unaccpectable service from the front desk staff. I would not return go any Hilton's again. I can't believe this kind of place exsist. I expected more from a Hilton.
Great location and nice facilities. Sadly, our room was not cleaned for three days in a row and the staff did not really do anything about it. We complained and in the end nothing was done. I d still give it a second try due to location.
Room i visited was quite large. Location in Markham is convenient, but just far from downtown Toronto. Parking space can be hard to find even though there is a large lot.
What a great experience. I had a run in with some odd fellows outside of the hotel hotel. Genson the GM was walking by and came out and really helped to calm the situation. He also recommended the clinic Form & Function insdie of their awesome gym for a chiropractic treatment. That was awesome as well. I wouldnt go anywhere else when I am in toronto or markham.
I was at the Hilton in November for a conference and was extremely disappointed with their service. I am a mother of an infant and needed a space to breast pump. I tried contacting them a week in advance to see if they could accommodate me, but was told I needed to book a room (despite living only 20 minutes away). I thought I would have more luck trying to speak to someone in person at the event, but the front staff was just as unhelpful, suggesting I breast pump in the washrooms. I can't begin to express how disappointed I was in their response. Hilton is a large hotel and it should not have been difficult for them to find a quiet space for me use for ten minutes. I will not be using a Hilton hotel in the future, knowing how unaccommodating they are to working mothers who breastfeed.
Beautiful place had a lot of me time. Was disappointed that massages are no longer available in the spa but shows on website. And there was a lot of creaking in my window I reported it to the front desk day before I left but it was still very annoying all night for two nights
