Roots Canada Ltd Review

Just had the most amazing experience here. I purchased a pair of sweats on Black Friday but they ended up being a little too small. I went to this location to exchange and they were so helpful. I ended up settling on a pair of MENS sweats in a different style than I had originally purchased, however despite the fact that I was not exchanging them for the same thing, it was no problem at all to get a straight exchange at the same price as what I paid on Black Friday. Many other stores wouldn't let you do that. They were so kind helpful and in such a good mood, I can only recommend this location.

Well fellow Googlers, went in to this location looking for something to buy for myself on vacation. Employers there were too busy judging if I was able to afford the items I picked, instead of being pleased with making a sale with me. Over heard one employee telling another if I was really going to buy the jacket. If it wasn't for the one employee that helped me to get the right size, I would have left with nothing.

Ladies and bags and accessories on the first floor, men's and baby clothes on the second floor. There were a lot of ladies somewhat because it was inside the streets. It is near from Bloor-Yonge station

Super friendly staff. One girl even helped me locate the roots 73 outlet store! they also serve lemon and raspberry water you can sip while you shop.

One of the best Roots stores in Toronto, good selection and some stuff that you can't find at other locations like limited lines.

I don't normally write reviews but after finishing the phone with a one of the roots reps. I called at 10:10am today, had a mature old voice. She was really rude and doubted me if I am going to arrive today on the "Customer Appriciation Day" to claim what I reserve. Well I'm so sorry you didn't have customers coming to claim what they reserve but you DO not have any reason to judge people if they come or not. As a non - happy customer, I will definitely not be coming to this location after claiming my reservation and make sure I will spread this to my friend so they are aware as well.

The customer service this long weekend has been great, it was my first ever purchase with this amazing Canadian Brand and I couldn t be happier.

Roots products are great quality. I've had sweatpants and purses that have lasted for years. The reason I'm dropping a few stars is that Roots used to offer 20% off to university students but recently replaced this discount with an SPC-based discount that is inferior - I think 15% off but you have to buy an SPC card. When I first learned that the current discount is 15%, the employee had no idea that the 20% off was the previous student discount.

It's a good store. The employees are very kind with you. And they have differents models and sizes

This location had every style and size that was not available in the west end. Staff were polite and very helpful!

Brought my purse in for repair at this location. Staff were excellent and took care of everything I needed.

Great customer service and the only place I know to get made in Canada footwear. Prices are slightly higher than the cheap clothing stores but if you're looking for the quintessential Canadian look then here's the place to get those comfy sweats.

Always depends on who is helping you but i had a very helpful assistant.

Just had a terrible experience in here - looking at a handbag that clearly has damage and the sales girl says "it came that way in the bag" and refused to ask her manager for further discount as it was a floor model.

It was of course the last one they had, so I spoke to the manager who offered to clean the bag and said "it would look new". WELL of course it didn't, as it was scratched all over inside and out. He wouldn't offer more than a 10% discount on the bag which was 300$ base price with no sale, so I really hope that they have to mark this item down at the end of the season Just to get it out of their store and lose money because he refused to offer more discount - I even said I would accept it as a final sale if he gave us so much as 15% off.

For a store that had no one in it, he really didn't seem to care that we walked out with nothing. Great manager there *sarcasm* and a staff that lies to their customers. Never going here again - not to mention the staff were all talking to each other or on their phones the entire time and only one person offered to help us (who then lied to try to make a sale).

Great store and although smaller is usually less crowded than the store in the Eaton's Centre. Quality on their products is high and the prices are mid range

Love the product I purchased but the service left a lot to be desired. I came in with a purpose and was a sale waiting to happen! I was greeted warmly at the door but then POOF! I was trying on a pair of display boots and was asked by an associate who leaned over the couch (attached to his phone) if I needed anything to ask and then back to his phone he went.....I was able to get some help but only after I asked. I had a couple questions about weather protecting and was met with "do you step in a lot of puddles"? Once I had selected my items I was taken to the cash and once the three individuals peeled themselves away from their phones I was taken care of. It was DEAD in the store. Not impressed. No wonder retail professionals are being replaced by self check outs.

I was left on hold for 7 minutes, I am extremely disappointed with the staff

Great location, nice layout, great merchandising and high quality products. Staff were super friendly and happily called a couple of stores to get a sweatshirt dress in my size.
Perfect spot for tourists wanting a Canadian souvenir (t-shirts, sweats and beautifully designed leather goods -- handbags, totes and wallets) they can proudly wear and enjoy for years to come.

Quality Canadian clothing store, exactly what you need to get through those cold Winter months. This store is large, well kept and where I got an extremely comfortable woollen dad sweater . Definitely a recommend despite being on the pricey side.
