The location is easy to find and in a popular area of Markham. There was also a good amount of parking. The hotel itself is very clean, nicely lit hallways and the room itself is very well taken care of. It was everything I wanted with a hotel stay.

Dont forget to pay a visit to club markham, the hilton's fully stocked gym. It even has 2 power racks ! Not just a cheap fitness centre

Clean. Conference space was adequate for our needs. Only down side was that the water in the women's bathroom was scalding hot. Many of us noted that it was too hot and almost dangerous.

Lobby is beautiful and the service is great. Rooms starting to show age, as the sofa was ancient and coming apart, and the bathroom door was showing water damage. Still a good hotel at a reasonable rate.

I was extremely impressed with one of the reception staff members. After the first night in the hotel I asked her if there is anything to do regarding bed sizes: they were small and we were not very comfortable. She tried very hard and I was able to get much better accommodations for my family at an excellent rate. I came back to say thank you and she said something amazing: "I'm very glad to help: you are smiling now; you weren't a few minutes ago."

The unique rooms and great service always makes for a pleasant experience. I would recommend a stay to anyone.

Good location around Warden and Highway 7. Plenty of parking spaces. No frills supermarket, McDonald's, various good restaurants, TD Bank, Scotiabank just across the street. Walking distance to the east, there's another plaza with Whole Food market, LCBO, many good restaurants.

Great experience! We stayed at this Hilton due to its proximity to Canada's Wonderland and its executive lounge. The breakfast buffet was above average and I especially appreciated the espresso machine with latte option. The cookies and sodas were also a nice touch. The lady working in the lounge was really friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed. We also enjoyed late-night drinks at the comfortable lounge and lunch at the restaurant. I would highly recommend this Hilton to anyone staying near Toronto.

I was there for a conference. Spaces are nice, lots of options. Not awesome in terms of accessibility if you've got mobility issues. More signage would be helpful! Staff overall very friendly, but when I tripped in the lobby, not one on staff offered assistance even though one clearly saw me on the floor. Thankfully, I was with some helpful colleagues.

Be aware of the bill @ Essence of Unionville for any holidays buffet. They overcharge in the taxes section to take advantage of. Reported to the service people right away but they said the fee is set by the machine so they can't do anything about it even it was billed incorrectly.

I visited for an interview in the willow room. I had need of the business center for printing and was pleased to learn it was complimentary. The staff were friendly and greeted me.

Service was good but the food provided was not to my taste.

It's a nice hotel but you have to pay for parking. Another disappointing thing there was only one elevator working at the time we had to check out which was really frustrating.

Was there for an event. Parking is not free there but I believe it can be waived for event guests if you register your vehicle with front desk.

Everything was great except we were only given two full size beds instead of two queen beds as promised and reserved. The reception desk said it will be a two queen beds suite, but after one night, we began to wonder why it was not as comfortable as the queen beds at home! It may be acceptable to some in a less For the trust we had on a brand as famous as Hilton, this is a surprise.

Great hotel, spacious rooms and great views. Very clean and comfortable. Most staff are polite, however I didn't not have a great experience in check out with the front staff. Also the reason i would rate 4 stars and not five.

Good place to stay for a weekend hockey tournament. Would have gone with four stars but the pool is not ideal for a youth hockey team. It's not part of the hotel but rather part of the gym that's connected to the hotel. So it's not ideal for a dozen nine years olds to get in and throw a football around. The rooms are nice but oddly setup. There's a living room like space when you first enter separated from the bedroom by a small hall and a door. This makes for two small spaces as opposed to one great room with more space to move around. They also have a policy, which was explained to me as an insurance issue, that limits the use of the baggage cart to the doormen. So unless you're willing to tip the doorman for wheeling your cart up to your room or back to your car, you'll end up making a few trips back and forth with your bags. On a positive note, the breakfast is fantastic! It's a must try part of the hotel.

Had a business meeting in the conference area. Catering staff is extremely helpful in setting up. Very professional and knowledgeable - the entire process was seamless. Room was very nice and able to fulfill all our needs. I highly recommend.

I've stayed at this location many times personally and also have been there for conferences. Easy to get to location, great hotel bar for a snack, courteous people, clean rooms.

Place was very nice. Shower stall needs a door as new open concept is lousy. Water went all over the floor.

A great place to stay. Complete package food, drinks, meeting rooms. Service is first class across the board. Bar area is fun until close every night. Room are top notch, clean and spacious. I loved my mattress and how quite it was in my room each night. Food is great and there is other restaurants outside of the hotel within walking distance. 5 stars.

Their bridal open house show was fantastic, with a nice display of the room, helpful vendors, and free afternoon tea! It seems like a nice place to get married but very expensive

Visited this venue for a wedding. The facility was very nice, clean, and professional looking. The waitstaff handled the dishes quite roughly when serving the meals, but otherwise as expected.

My experience at Hilton hotel markham was horrible.

Came here for mother's day brunch buffet. We were seated in Markham Room, which was darker and less elegant than the other seating areas seemed to be. The food was presented well but honestly not very good for the cost of the buffet unfortunately. It just seemed like it was a rushed preparation or low effort affair. The coffee was decent though.

Clean, Modern, and Inviting location with all modern luxuries and comforts at a fair price.

Very nice hotel for conferences and gatherings. Rooms have a separate living area which is great for corporate functions.
