Good hotel. Very nice. They lose one star for having a $20 breakfast buffet and not even any free coffee. They lose a second star for having terrible WiFi that kicks you off every five minutes.

Located centrally in downtown Omaha. Rooms are in need of renovation, and plumbing/piping needs rework. I only say this because I had issues with water to my room. Service was excellent. Timothy from the hotel honors team did a wonderful job.

I've had mostly good experiences here. They staff has been great when I needed to speak with them. Auto checkin and digital keys has all but eliminated my need to speak to the staff, except for parking validation and a cookie. The food is pretty meh, and the hotel Finishes are a bit dated, and it's showing its age. It's a good place to stay that's easy to get to the airport, but I could say the same thing about a dozen other hotels within a mile.

I'm staying here for a week for business. I paid extra for an early check in, but still had to wait two hours for my room. I then had to wait for maintenance to fix the TV and AC which weren't working. The shuttle was going to be over an hour wait, so I ended up walking to my destination. The breakfast buffet isn't included in the cost, and a simple breakfast cost me $17. The room doesn't have a fridge or microwave, so my food options are limited. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and won't stay here again.

Front desk and shuttle staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was ok but was others have said, the thermostat may be an issue depending on what time of year you are there. Ordered 2 drinks in the lounge without asking price--glad we didn't order more. We had stayed before and had a larger room that was more impressive. Even the lobby seemed less impressive. Parking garage is having work done so spots are somewhat limited. Conference was going on while we were there and attendees parked in the handicap stalls without permits leaving none for us. We reported it but nothing happened.

On 2/7/15 we stayed at this hotel. Our main reason was to go shopping and let our children go swimming. Nowhere on the website did it state the pool was closed due to repair and maintenance. We are the only ones walking around in our swimsuits, I asked front desk why our card won't work and that's when we learned the pool was closed. My two year was upset, he really wanted to swim. We our coffee drinkers and the coffee machine didn't work! My boyfriend and I son went to shower and after a few minutes being in the shower then came out, my son is shivering and my boyfriend informed me there was no hot water!! Last we paid for parking. They didn't tell us there was construction being done. We Couldnt find parking but when we did we had to park next to a pole and care so close by that we barley could open our doors. I have twin daughters who were just 4 months. It took us about 20 minutes to get them out. I had to lift them out and over my shoulders so we wouldn't hit the other vechile and to get them around the pole for their father to grab them!!
I called the front desk and got transferred to the supervisor, we weren't looking for anything to to let her know about our experience. We don't someone else to go through what we did. The lady I spoke with was nice and caring about our stay. She sent us a letter stating what I told her, was nice that she listened to what I told her. She sent my boyfriend and Myself each a two night weekend voucher. Hopefully it's better the next time we go up there!

I don't know where to start. This hotel went above and beyond in every way to make my last little getaway vacation before I leave with the military, not only an amazing night, but a memory that my girlfriend and I will hold onto forever. I purchased just the basic room to stay in and enjoy the surrounding attractions. When I arrived and started checking in, it's like they were expecting me. The whole front desk greeted me and served my girlfriend and I hot chocolate while we got our room keys. Next they handed us a platter of gourmet hand dipped chocolates with an orchid and told us that our room was upgraded free of charge to a parlor suite on a higher level. We couldn't believe it, but it doesn't stop there. They then gave us 2 free breakfast buffet cards for the next morning. When we arrived at our room we couldn't stop celebrating this gift. We were beyond happy and excited. Next there was a knock on the door, and to our surprise it was room service giving us a bottle of chilled California Champagne. We enjoyed the champagne immediately and our hearts were filled with joy. As we went about our night and returned from dinner, we get a phone call saying there was another gift for us and they would bring it up. When room service arrived, it was a patriotic themed beanie baby bear and my lady claimed it immediately. We enjoyed the rest of our evening overlooking Omaha from our top level view and fell asleep in one of the most comfy beds I've ever slept in. The next morning we ate a truly delicious breakfast at a fancy buffet and were served by very polite waitresses. As we finished up our stay and checked out, to top the whole experience off, they handed us the final receipt and told us the whole stay was free of charge. Unbelievable. Like I said, this was more than just a stay at a hotel, this was a memory we will always cherish and remember. It makes me so happy and emotional to see businesses support the military and this is exactly what the Hilton Double Tree did for us. I can honestly say this was one of the best nights of my life and a great last date with my lady. I will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to everybody! THANK YOU SO MUCH HILTON DOUBLE TREE!!

The Doubletree was very welcoming. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The servers at breakfast were very friendly and there were a variety of breakfast items to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon at the buffet table. I will definitely come here again the next time I'm in omaha.

Great view of the downtown area from the 16th floor. One star off for a TV that had three HDMI inputs with a menu allowing only HDMI 1. We needed to unplug their box to plug in our system so our kid had games to play. One star off for a bathroom fan that didn't work. The door to the bathroom actually has marks from the toilet because it was such a tight fit. One last thing, parking is only free a few blocks down. Otherwise it's ten dollars a night. One star for not telling us that.

The service was mediocre. We had a suite booked and were not able to check in until after 3:30! Check in time is 3 and we were on a schedule. The rooms are spacious, but dated for sure. It is a great location and the shuttle runs until midnight and will take you a 4 mile radius from the hotel!

The location is great, just on the outskirts of the Old Market downtown area. The hotel is very nice and clean on the inside. Currently the front drive up entrance is going through mild construction though.

This place is awesome, our first hotel was a best Western that we booked online but when we got there, they wouldn't let us sign in because no one was over 21. We looked up this place and showed up to the front desk and they had an open room for us; less than what best Western would've been! Awesome staff and super clean room. You also get a nice view of the mountains. The only downside is that they don't have a pool. Honestly the best hotel I've ever stayed at, definitely would recommend.

Shuttle driver and Housekeeping staff were so nice and pleasant. Front desk staff were rude, and there was always a long line/wait to speak to anybody. Worst of all...I came away from my stay with bed bug bites all over my back and arms. Hotel refused to acknowledge or do anything about it.

DON'T book your wedding here. You will regret it and your guests will too.

A ceiling tile fell right above the shower head. I had to put it back up. When I told them to fix it, did they? No! The damn thing fell again. I posted a nice picture of it.

The housekeeping staff stole an item I had left behind!!!!! I called within 1 day about it.

The parking is confusing if you're not used to ramps. Also, there were no refrigerators in the rooms and that is really odd to me... especially in 2018. We had go store drinks in the sink full of ice. But the facility itself is gorgeous and the rooms are nice!! Walking distance to Old Market. I would stay again.

Their was plenty of seating in the bar area on a Sunday night. The bartender acknowledged and got my drink quickly and I was able to enjoy a couple of rounds with friends. The price for the drinks was a little higher than most bars in the area, however, so it was more about the convenience.

Excellent staff! From the front desk to the shuttle bus driver, everyone was amazing. The hotel itself was dated. Aside from the general lackluster appearance there were numerous inconveniences. The climate control was a mess, and the tub controls were flaky.

Front desk service was nice. Deonte was very personable. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Modern looking. The stars are mainly for the lack of working elevators that took me 20 min to get to my room. which in turn made me late for the wedding I was attending. P.S. Cookie was great!

We hated our experience. We will NEVER come back.

-Parking was a horrible experience. You have to pay $10/day to stay in the garage, and then have your parking validated EVERY time you come in and out - super annoying. The lobby is on the second floor, but paying guests have to go up several levels to "3B" to park. Then, from the parking garage, you have to walk outside to get back into the hotel.

-The front desk attendant wasn't very helpful, and complained about having to wear a COVID-19 mask. Often on the phone and distracted. Not very warm.

-The room size was fine... BUT their idea of "CityView" from the 4th floor was looking at a roof, the pool, and the side of some random building. Not as described.

-Everything was very dated. Bleh.

-There was a hole in the ceiling where the sprinkler system was set up.

-There was a near-constant "clicking" noise that always made us feel as if someone was coming into the room.

-THERE ARE NO MOVIE OPTIONS --- just basic cable. No streaming, No DVD player, there aren't even inputs to put your own tech in. It was like living in the 90s.

-The bathroom tub/shower combo was clogged, bathroom very tight quarters, and the provided hair dryer was disgusting and sticky.

DoubleTree = Double Trouble. Don't book it.

The staff is what makes this place so great. They were very friendly and great to chat with. But I highly suggest you stay away from anything they serve with avocados... my salad had several black pieces that were not that appetizing

Great service at reception. Great breakfast. Bathroom small. Shower subpar. Beds okay. I would have still given 4 stars but I come down to check out and ask when the airport shuttle will be there. They say 1130 and asked me to wait and the driver will announce when he is ready. Shuttle comes. People get out of it. I decided to just go and sit in the shuttle after the last person got out. As I walk to the shuttle he takes off. No one in the shuttle. He didn t even get out. So here I am still waiting. First of all I was misled. Secondly the driver had no intention to pick up anyone. He supposedly stated he will return in 15 minutes. Well anyway it s almost 12 noon now. He is here. And I m in it. I m glad I planned on going to the airport early. Anyway such a great staff at reception but that s about it.

Had breakfast and it was great quality. But again the waiter didn t show up forever. So the person who sat me down was actually very nice and came and checked on me. Actually took my order. Eventually waiter showed. No smile etc. I guess everyone having a bad day Anyway I had my breakfast and left back to my room. There you have it. My rationale for 3 stars. I guess I could have given 2 stars.

Very old hotel. And it shows in the elevator to halls etc.

By the way I have been in the shuttle now for a while and he doesn t want to leave yet. Totally opposite of the 1130 shuttle. Oh well that s life.

I honestly don t know where to begin. The stay here wasn t bad but had the worst experience when I had my dress gone missing. I stayed there on July 20th. Came for my friends wedding and flew back the next day. I had hung my dress in the bathroom and forgot it at the hotel. So on my way to the airport I had called the hotel and mentioned I had left a coral dress gave the best description I could and was told that nothing was found. I was told to call the following day so I called. Nothing has been found and I explained to housekeeping that it was a very expensive dress and I had only wore it for one night and it s gone missing while it was on a hung in the bathroom. The front desk wasn t helpful at all when I mentioned to them how it s insane that within 20 minutes I had realized of the dress missing nobody was able to locate it. Overall the experience with talking to them every time I had called I was getting the vibe that our housekeepers turn anything that s expensive including iPads and laptops so you had made a mistake. I had waited for a call for a month for a phone call hoping this dress will be found. I ve never had this experience. And will no longer stay at this property. The one star is for the cleanness of our room. Experience was the worst! Customer service was even worst.

Staff is super nice, very accommodating. Biggest complaint is that you cannot control room temperature in your rooms. The Thermostats are set on a seasonal basis and whether you are hot or cold in your room, you cannot adjust the temperature in your room, you are just out of luck on your temperature control. If you are hot, u request a fan delivered to your room. If you are cold, you have to request a portable heater to your room, like some old motel from 1974. Furniture is somewhat old in the rooms. I have stayed at much more modern furnished rooms in other Doubletree properties, but again, staff is super nice, and location is great.

I was a bit disappointed with my stay here. The room only had one small chair to sit in, the ironing board was really small and there wasn't a good space to set it up, the toilet kept running, the fan was really loud, and then the elevators and parking garage access arm in the parking garage broke. The TV wouldn't change channels unless you stood right in front of it. Upon checkout, the lady at the desk was really condescending when we asked for a parking receipt.

Beware! My Daughter and her friend stayed at this hotel for a girl's weekend out and forgot their coats in the closet...North Face...and the staff stole them! My Daughter called immediately that day but nobody could find them! The staff were not cooperative calling back..DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! IF THEY STEAL COATS, WHAT ELSE WILL THEY STEAL?

Super
