Awful! Too many complaints to write all here. Be prepared for a miserable stay if you choose this hotel. Took 45 minutes to get an elevator to check out. Staff unfriendly and uncaring so you will get nowhere complaining to them.

We travel with a emotional support dog, we were not told until day of that there was a NONREFUNDABLE $50 fee. There was arguing and young adults in the hallway outside our door well into the early morning hours which made sleeping impossible. The parking situation is very inconvenient to say the least. There is no easy way to take your dog outside. The outdoor doors do not work with the room key so we were made to walk all the way around the block to get back to a door that would open. Horrible experience!!!!

I was shocked. The person that helped me was a trans person. Normally trans people lack serious people skills but this person was just fantastic. Kind, funny and better than most others. We got our two cookies and room key in record time. The room as expected was perfect. Never had a bad room at a Hilton. Take your parking ticket with you on check in so they can validate it.

I liked this hotel because I was staying here for a wedding and the proximity to the bars was very nice for after the reception. There were a lot of little issues with this place like the breakfast set up being wonky and the parking set up needing to be updated but other than a few minor annoyances, it's definitely over priced but still a solid place to stay in downtown Omaha.

I am a Hilton Honors member, only silver level, but had enough points to bring the cost of our room down about $20 per night. When we got to the hotel, I was told that my room had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite for the same price as I was already paying. What a surprise that was. It's been a long last 2 1/2 months, and I think God had a hand in this, but it made our stay awesome!!! Thank you Doubletree. We stay there fairly regularly and believe me, you will have our business for a long time to come and the help is so wonderful, they are some of the nicest and most helpful people you could ever meet.

Parking was a nightmare. Be careful if you arrive in bigger vehicles and plan to park in their garage. Staff were nice and professional, and it was great being so close to shops and sightseeing. Air con was super loud making it very difficult to sleep through. Found an open bottle of lotion by the bed when we arrived. Probably don't need to explain that one. Room service food was great with nice proportions. Small bathrooms. Not the best stay, but wasn't the worst either.

After getting back to our room at 1am we were locked out of our room all night because of a dead battery in the key card reader. We were told we had to wait until 7am for maintenance to show up. Hotel staff put us in a different room in the meantime but we didn't have any of our luggage or belongings. This was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. Completely unprepared and clueless management of a very large hotel. Its mind-boggling to me that no maintenance staff is on call on a saturday night. The busiest day of the week for a hotel. Or at least call a locksmith for god's sake.

I didn't actually stay here, but the front staff was super cool about me walking in wearing a sleeveless tank and a kilt with a ton of bags; the elevator is awesome, you can see out the window. I strongly advise taking the elevator to the top floor and all the way down to the bottom, at least once.

This hotel had decent rooms and comfortable beds. However, everything else was very average and the ease of our stay was well below average. This is not a family-friendly hotel! There was a pageant event going on, so everything was crowded and the elevators were basically out of commission. We had to carry our luggage and baby up 9 floors in a hot stairwell. The only parking option is a ramp and this had minimal availability. There is no continental breakfast and the only offerings on the menu are at least $15+. The pool was small and cold. Staff was friendly enough, but I wouldn't stay again.

Nice and comfortable. This place could stand a renovation. But not to say anything was worn or wretched. The breakfast buffet was adequate, on the last morning we ordered in. Went to the Zoo before we arrived, and took the Hotel shuttle to The Children's Museum the next day. The hotel will also shuttle you to the Zoo - that would have been helpful to know in advance, but not the Hotel's fault. Just poor planning on our part. Pool was ok, cold, but ok. Would have loved to see a hot tub. After a long road trip, nothing hits the spot like a nice soak, while the children play in the pool. Hotel staff was more than helpful and friendly, and in standing with a usual Hilton stay.

Very comfortable up-to-date rooms and friendly staff. Hotel shuttles provide easy transportation to and from the airport. Good convenient location for meetings with Union Pacific Railroad.

In the 80's (when known as the Red Lion Inn) this was the best place to bring your Tony Hawk skateboard and skate from the top of the parking garage to the bottom. Then you could take the elevators back up to the top. If the local executives questioned you on the lift, you simply told them you had a board meeting.

At first the hotel seems really nice and fancy but once you settle in, you really everything is kind of old and seems like it needs repair. My shower curtain look like it was about to fall down and the shower faucet actually fell off.

The overall experience is fantastic. The rooms are nice, the hotel staff is amazing, and they have great amenities on site. The only "downside" is that the parking is a little tight in the garage. The garage parking is far from horrible and by far better than some places but just be aware of you're coming in with a full-size vehicle.

The double tree is located in downtown Omaha in a lovely location. It is walking distance to mostly everything. The hotel itself is gorgeous to look at and has incredible views from the room. We stayed on the ninth floor in the King suite. Guests get free parking the duration of their stay and there is a convenient shuttle that runs until midnight. There is a fitness center and a pool but no sauna or hot tub.

Rooms were nice, welcome cookies were good. Breakfast buffet was nice with a variety of food, kind of on the pricey side though. However, rooms do not have a microwave or refrigerator. Several issues with housekeeping, including not having enough towels each day for the number of people in the room, our glasses by the ice bucket were not replaced and bucket was dirty, iron was never put up after being used. Sheets were clean and beds made nicely though. Front desk nice and helpful and explained the use of the parking situation.

Not happy with the customer service. Everything is an automatic 22% tip included. People tend to work differently when they know they get a good tip regardless of level of service. But since the company pays for it all I don't mind!

The hotel staff is extremely friendly, but the hotel is in severe need of updating. Upon arrival the automated front door doesn't even work. There are leaks in the dining room. The carpet is worn. You get the picture.

The front desk person was very nice and maybe her response in a text to me was a misunderstanding.... I was sent a text through what I supposed was internal text system. It was signed by the person as Nicole. She asked how things were and I told her okay, but that there was a food container left in the hotel room from a previous tenant. I tried to be nice and said that I would take two cookies as trade for this and she flat out said no. Then she said yes and I was now confused.....If it was a misunderstanding, a person should read their text and respond correctly..... I then took a shower just before bed and had soap scum at the end of my shower above my anckles. Luckily it was my own shower scum. The shower button that pulls up and comes out of the spicket is not stopping the water correctly which would also help fill up the tub before completing your shower. Slow shower drain as well. Nasty! Don't stay in room 1013. I hope it's an isolated incident.

It is clean. The staff is nice. The construction is good. You don't hear the room next to you pr upstairs from you. Even the noise from the hallway is minimal. Since it is downtown there is a lot to walk to and do. A lot of food options. A nice park to visit. Running/walking trails nearby. The heat and ac units need to be upgraded. It is basically set by the hotel

Was very excited when I checked in. Very clean, seemed well taken care of and then thr nights began. First of all, amenities showed room service, not here apparently. Restaurant was closed with a very very limited menu provided by the bar, not what I was expecting. Then, some young 20 year olds checked in next to me and wer smoking, drinking and playing loud music in their rooms all night, seriously, till 6am. After asking them several times and the front desk apparently claiming to have made a call I gave up, checked out early and left. Getting into the parking garage was a nightmare and apparently their "voucher" machine was not working lol. I won't stay here again and was so disheartened as it was a business trip and I was wanting to recommend this place to others, not anymore.

We stayed here because it was close to all the night life of Old Market. Immediately when checking in, the front desk worker was not pleasant. Stated I was going to be charged $40 more on my card but didn t explain the extra fees. Then I was told it s $10 a night to park! (That should be provided for free if you re staying at the hotel in my opinion!) Once we entered the room, it was mediocre. The shower did not drain and was dirty. Who knows if the room was cleaned though, because there was no sanitization sticker on our door like the rooms next to us had. Also, unfortunately the pool was closed. I would not recommend staying here for the price.

This place has gone downhill fast despite the renovation. This was the host hotel for an annual bowling tournament we travel to, with a floor of rooms blocked out for us. I was trapped on the elevator for 11 minutes without the call button working. When I was free ( randomly started working again) l bolted to the front desk and they said thanks--thats the second time today!? The 16th floor smelled of sewer. One friend says his shower handle broke off, another said he was in the bathroom and the bathroom above started leaking down on him. My room was so hot I could not sleep as no a/c function in Feb. I just opened the window and prayed for a breeze. The housekeeping service for some reason does not make beds on the second day--for our whole group?!? A bad experience and our group is looking elsewhere for next year.
