The room was as expected. The tub didn't drain well but that probably isn't a universal problem. The rest of the hotel was much nicer. The staff was courteous and helpful.

I've used the Hertz rental car office located inside here many times and it has by far become my preferred in the downtown area. Less busy and more cars than Union Station and without the hassle of going to Glendale or even all the way into LAX. Super friendly staff!

There are people sleeping in tents on the corners of the block. Hotel seems clean and comfortable.
Post stay review: It was fine. I would not say I felt unsafe but I also did not leave the premises unless I was in a shuttle. I'm pretty sure my room was by the washers and dryers because it was very loud at times. Luckily I can sleep in any condition but others may not feel that way.
The front desk have inconsistent information about the variety of shuttles you can take from the airport and didn't seem eager to clarify anything.
Definitely will find another hotel if I'm ever back in Los Angeles.

Comfortable rooms and great bed. I ask for extra foam pillows and they were in my room on my arrival. There could be a some more light at night and the shower pressure could be stronger but overall I'm happy with my stay. The chocolate chip cookies at check in are awesome.

The staff are friendly, but the hotel is tired. What I really hated was the prices at the convenience store. Every day need items were 3 times the price (9 dollars instead of 3) compared to stores outside. I can understand prices are higher in a hotel, but 3 times higher is a pure rip off!

I first booked a hotel downtown without planning a trip. So I think you can think of the room condition for the price as a business hotel.
Advantages.
1. Delicious welcome cookies (melting chocolate is excellent)
2. It is good to be able to park for several hours after check-out (the default seems to be until 2 o'clock, but it seems that it can be extended if requested at the front desk)
3. The staff are very friendly (a tall man with a ponytail at the front (resembling a football player Gareth Vale))
4. There is a Starbucks in the building
5. Give four bath towels
Disadvantages.
1. Hotel condition (it seems inevitable for this price in downtown)
-There is only one interior light.. (The table lights are over and there is no main light)
-The shower room's chin is too low to cause water fluctuations...
-The toilet lock was a device I've never seen before. I tried unlocking, but it didn't work properly, so I got stuck in the bathroom for a few minutes... I got stuck with my wife, too.
2. Too many sirens are heard at night

A wonderful hotel, we spent a week in September 2017 after spending two weeks in New Jersey in the hospitality of Nabil Boutros and his wife, Odette Karima, my sister Daddddad, Liza Dadddd, the most beautiful trip where she saw my sister before her death a few days ago

We found this hotel clean, comfortable, and in a fine location to explore Little Tokyo and walk to Disney Hall. What made this hotel exceptional for us was the service. We received a call just after leaving the hotel that one of the parking attendants had found my husband's wallet which he had evidently dropped on the way out of the parking garage. We were impressed since the finder had had to do some research to get the phone number. What a fine employee!! All of the people who worked there were pleasant, friendly and helpful. While not a true luxury hotel, this one came close. I would stay there again.

Stayed here a couple days during New Year's and the Rose Parade. Near the gold line that makes it easy to get to Pasadena. Hotel itself is older, looks like it could use a remodel. Staff was nice and attentive. Nice garden/park attached to the hotel.

Our room (two queen beds on the 20th floor) feels a little bit cramped, but still very comfortable and well stocked with the usual hotel comforts. The lobby feels much nicer and more unique than you'd normally expect from a chain hotel. The location is fine if you're going to be spending time in Little Tokyo, otherwise expect a 15-20 min walk to any major downtown locations. The staff is extremely helpful- before arrival, we received a text message asking if we had any special arrival requests. We used points for our stay, so I can't say anything about the value for the money. However, expect a unique upscale hotel that feels more like a boutique than a chain hotel.

Hotel in the financial district of Los Angeles.
Very good service, there is always some employee who speaks Spanish.
They have valet service and they are very friendly.
The rooms are spacious.
The hotel has a small supermarket, but if you leave the hotel you will have a cheaper Chinese supermarket in the same block.
From the same hotel you can access a restaurant and a starbucks, where breakfast is cheaper than in the hotel itself.
All rooms have an empty fridge, for you to put what you need, flat screen TV about 40 ", ironing board and iron, safe and coffee maker with coffee.
At the check-in they give you a chocolate cookie.
Everything is very clean.
Parking fee.
Adjustable AA in each room, works perfectly.

Checked in Thursday night left car with valet, Friday morning went back to car for new iPad. iPad not there, valet just so happens to park my car in only area in THEIR garage that has no camera coverage, mysteriously iPad is gone! Their in house investigation can t find any evidence as the car was parked in a blind spot . The ridiculous part is when I m checking out, still no official report on the incident AND they charged me for valet when THEIR valet stole a $700 iPad!

Zeni at the Front Desk was the absolute greatest! We were stranded overnight without our car or any of our personal affects, but Zeni found us a beautiful room with a warm cozy bed to rest our heads, and sent us off with warm cookies and bottled water. The breakfast staff was just as welcoming and accommodating, as they stopped to check on us or chat a few minutes to really connect. The food itself was delicious, with a fantastic assortment to choose from. The morning desk staff were also very sweet, but we regret we didn't get their names as we weren't entirely awake yet... This was a great experience overall, and the absolute best staff we've ever had the pleasure to meet at any hotel! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!

High-floor room, very nice hotel. Three blocks from old Downtown LA. The hotel was very nice. Good ASIAN food options close by, beautiful views of the LA mountains, but foggy on my visit. Be a bit weary of the walk as there are MANY homeless tents directly on the sidewalk. I was not hassled, but I am a big guy.

Service is poor. When request a pack and play for my son it was never delivered to the room even after repeated calls. When leaving the hotel I request bell service to help with our bags. The bell man never came. Only positive aspect of my stay was the restaurant called Justice that is located inside the hotel. Good food (fish tacos). Homeless people constantly coming into the lobby bagging for money. I will never stay in this hotel again.

Located in Downtown, not far from "Skid Row", so plan your trips on foot. The rooms to the Starsenseite are extremely loud, but after consultation with the staff at the front desk was assigned a different, quieter room. A very big drawback is the access to the wifi. This can only be done through a Hilton app, which you have to download first in the lobby, because you can not get in the room so the wifi. and even after loading the app and registration, it is very awkward to get in the Wlan. Here should urgently be improved.

LOUD! Outside noise very loud all night long. The large room windows don't reduce any noise at all. Couldn't sleep because of this. Maybe try and get room on upper floor to try and escape some of the noise (i was on 8th).
Also, rooms are a little dated and smaller.

Housekeeping didn't change sheets. Guest services reluctant to help. Outdated.
I would not recommend this hotel in LA. I've stayed in Hiltons/DoubleTree in LA, Boston, San Fran/Hawaii/NYC etc... and this as by far the worst of them all. Rooms needed an update. Carpet floors were sticky, bathroom needed some upkeep, bath curtain was stained, worn sealant, etc. Fridge was very loud. TV had bad reception and channels went in and out. But really, I could have lived with all of this until dealing with housekeeping and guest services. We stayed here 7 days and only requested our room cleaned on day 5 because my husband got a haircut and shaved hair was on the sheets. We were so surprised to come to our "clean" room to find hair all over the pillowcases and the scent from the salon's hair product still on the bed. Guest services gave me a hard time when I wanted a solution. After a long phone call, they finally offered that someone would change the pillowcases. They wouldn't believe me when I said housekeeping didn't change the sheets when they didn't even see what I saw.
