I give this 5 stars for where Tunis and what it is. It's really nicely appointed and a cute lol restaurant and a nice Starbucks right next door. I was only there for a meeting and was pleasantly surprised

Really nice hotel, I got a really good deal on the room for a Saturday night. Online it said it was within a mile of the convention center and it definitely isn't, but they have a courtesy car that will take you there. I atempted to use the courtesy car and there were a lot of mix ups so I finally got frustrated and just drove my car and fought with convention center parking. The room was decent, the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was disgusting. Hair and rust in the bathtub and a washcloth folded neatly and laid out even though there was something crusted all over it. Ew. On the bright side, there is a Starbucks right there which is very convenient and the staff is very friendly, even if they're not very helpful

The sushi and sake festival was tremendous. $60 for all other sushi, sake, shochu, and Japanese beer you can eat and drink. Other Japanese delicacies like takoyaki, Oden, soba and oshinko were available and plentiful. There was a demonstration of slicing up a tuna and then we got to eat the sashimi from the tuna. Crowded but fun.

The hotel is quite good, clean and the room spacious. The garden that appears in the photos is very small and hidden but yes beautiful.

The staff is friendly, half the world speaks Spanish.

The only defect you could find is that the surroundings are not very nice to Chinatown, from there to good location, if you go to the Dodger stadium is a good option, it is 10min in Uber, also the Moca and other museums are close , Little Tokyo super close, other attractions such as Disney, Universal studios, walk of fame or Santa Monica do get much further away from there.

Clean, friendly customer service, comfortable bed and close to our event. No view. Parking $45 for the night but it is Los Angeles. Free water bottle and hot cookie on arrival. Courteous employees with helpful information. Bloody Mary's were not very good. Breakfast for gold star members only. Free breakfast would have taken the sting out of cost of parking. Starbucks in hotel nice touch. Bathroom clean. Quiet. Would stay there again. Not pet friendly.

I had great experience here actually one of my friend recommend me this hotel so i visited here and literally it was beyond my expectations. The room was cleaned and the interior was awesome . If i talk about the food was also delicious and the service was quick enough.

My experience was average overall, but my friend in another room had to go through so much stuff because of mistakes the hotel made, and the hotel staff was very unaccomodating even though we had proof the error was not our mistake.

Very nice hotel with a great Japanese-influenced style and decor - one of the best interior designs I've ever seen in a hotel. Very welcoming lobby and staff and very clean and comfortable rooms. Check out their Japanese gardens if you have a chance and hopefully you receive a room that allows one of the great views of the surrounding area.

Stayed here for 2 nights while working on a production in Tokyotown. Excellent staff snd customer service. Room was very clean and tidy. Best hotel bed I have ever stayed in! Went to Japanese market next store and stacked mini fridge. Good restaraunts in area. Workes a lotso didnt have time to try hotel restaurant or spend time in Garden, but will definitely stay here again.

Overall it was a great stay with a nice room and amenities. I'd go back for sure! There was some issues/disparity with what was said with whoever we booked with and what the people at the desk said about our reservation but it was worked out.

Called the front desk and staff was very short and frankly rude when calling to ask about breakfast. Turns out it was canceled which is understandable however some patience for a 4 second question and a helpful customer service attitude would have been appreciated. Something should have been comped or provided to a guest and a gold member for the lack of services (also no upgrades available. Covid affected suites?). Room seemed dated, slightly dirty and the bathroom was very unsatisfactory.

No pool, no hot tub, small rooms, we we're on 19th floor and still had no view other than literally wall.. if windows opened I could of touched it. Noisy ( jack hammer and construction ) had reserved for 5 days stayed 4hrs and checked out was unbearable

Excellent, very good hubicado and Hilton quality.

Excellent, very good hubicado and Hilton quality.

You may be offered to become a member of the Hilton Honors program, it's good because it's free and they immediately give you free WiFi and 1 bottle of water per person.

One of the best experiences I have had and I've stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel ! The staff are friendly, funny, and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

In terms of location, it is so close to the subway and very close to some great shopping and adorable restaurants. Also, only about 10-15mins to Canal Street shopping.

Decent hotel, showing its age for sure. The windows are not sound insulting so you can hear a lot of noise from outside through the night. The rooms are smallish. Not really worth the price. Much cheaper overnight parking can be found in many of the garages in a short walk from the hotel.

Very good hotel, very comfortable beds, free shuttle service with leads and brings up to 2 miles. Wifi is free, works very well in loby and at reception and is slow in rooms. Along with the hotel has a small mall with supermarket, restaurants and shops. The hotel has a Japanese garden which is beautiful.

Bathroom had hair on the floor, in the description under amenities it has parking but they don't mention it costs $35.00. First hotel I have stayed at that charges by the hour to use their wifi. Definitely will not be back. Pluses is it had a nice restaurant an bar on the lobby floor. The breakfast is way over priced.

Located in downtown LA. This hotel has everything you need for a business event or business trip. It has 4 underground levels of parking and offer valet service as well. It has a restaurant on the first floor and a very convenient Starbucks for a coffee or a snack. The gym is well equipped with everything you need for a workout. There is a bar also on the first floor. And finally the customer service is excellent.

Decent value. Rooms were a bit outdated, but they were clean and comfortably appointed. The neighborhood offers many excellent fast-casual Asian restaurants. A good option if you have a reason to be close to the hotel.

I stayed at this building many years ago when it was the Kyoto Grand. The rooms are a decent size and the price wasnt bad especially since it had an elegant garden on the roof. Then Hilton bought the building and turned it into a Double Tree. I also stayed one year at the Double Tree for Anime Expo.
They turned the prices waaaay up for small basic rooms. I ended up never returning because of their ridiculously high prices. Theres a hotel just down the block for the same nice rooms but hundreds of dollars cheaper. The DT is very eh especially for its price.
