So far, so good. The staff is knowledgeable and gracious. The rooms are clean and a good size. Pricing is competitive for the area. The connected grill has a very good buffet and robust coffee.

Typical for more modern hotels, the bathrooms are small and the effectiveness of the fan is debatable, so that even a short shower leaves one with a steamed and unusable mirror. Truly first world problems compared to the view of the quaint garden at ground level.

The floor plan of the hallways are triangular, which takes a little getting used to, and is good to sort out in the event of an emergency.

We found this hotel offering $249 a night stay , when we arrived at the front desk the concierge said only room available was $299, once we pointed out that online booking was showing $250 she "generously" lowered the price. One of the pillows smelled bad. The room was clean, hotel building such as elevators in very well kept order. I would reccomend it.

The Double Tree hotel was everything you want in a hotel. There was excellent staff that were accommodating. We were greeted with smiles and warm chocolate chip cookies! The hotel room was much larger than other rooms I have stayed in at other hotels. It is walking distance from Union Station, a very useful transportation hub. It is also close to little Tokyo, which is a fun cultural adventure.

I'm a regular at this hotel since I often have work in the area. Hotel is great and in a great location, particularly if you like Japanese food (walking to Little Tokyo is easy). Only had a couple complaints: weak Wi-Fi in certain rooms (they are going to fix this and gave me some comps when I told them about it) and my digital key didn't work on one of the several doors I used it for. Other than that, happy with the room, cleanliness, and amenities.

I was at doubletree checking it out as a potential wedding venue. The garden is beautiful and open to hotel guests when events are not being held. The staff was extemely professional and friendly. The location is central to downtown and especially Little Tokyo.

The venue itself was very nice and easy to navigate, however, there was no one moderating the traffic in the valet/pickup/dropoff loop, so it quickly became congested with people either stopping randomly or speeding though it.

When we arrived Michael at the front desk was extremely polite and so professional. Our room was clean and cozy. We had a Fabulous view of the Garden thanks to Michael. Our only disappointment was when my Fiance and me tried to visit the Garden. There was a sign stating "private event do not enter" well from our room the Garden looked desolate nothing going on. The next morning we tried to visit the Garden again before leaving, the sign was still there we could plainly see there was nothing going on. We were disappointed that we were not able to visit the beautiful Garden which is one of the things that attracted us.

This doubletree hotel goes above and beyond to satisfy guests. Whatever issue may arise, they will fix it if you ask. Incredible rooms and views from the garden side. I've stayed here many times and when I'm in the downtown area for business, this hotel is always on the top of my list. And it's close to everything for nice walks.

Nice stay. Great Restaurant with excellent service !! Slightly dated rooms but, clean. Housekeeping friendly and helpful as well as front desk. Hotel provided local ride to a restaurant was much appreciated. Parking card was the only hiccup we had.

Parking is pricey for a Double tree but it being near downtown I understand. Cookies are yummy. Bed is very comfortable. Bar downstairs is nice very enjoyable. Quick room service for the much extra towels and hair conditioner . great stay vacation.

The location is good. Despite the exterior look, which is a bit regular, the interior has its own Japanese twist, this included everything from the art in the lobby, to the rooms. Fitting for little Tokyo

This is not a reflection of the hotel, but parking. It has an extremely small underground garage. Low clearance, very tight corners, very limited spaces. If you get kind of anxious because of any of these things I would recommend valet or self parking on the street. Also, I did not notice many cameras which means they are really good, or nonexistent. There are signs all over saying guests maintain all risk for parking there.

Location is great for my trip. Room is ok, but the curtains and wall are visibility stained and kind of grosses me out. For such and expensive room I would have thought they could have cleaned the curtains.

For Tourists: The lobby is a great place to sit and rear your weary feet. Beautiful Japanese inspired drawings dress the high walls. There is a inside Starbucks you can revitalize oneself with caffeine. Restrooms are locked by room key, so be warned. An underrated FREE tourist spot are the Kyoto Gardens located from any Elevator that has the G button. Parking garage elevators won't get you there. It's a well maintained very Zen spot to admire and take photos for your Instagram.

Good service. Accommodated me well when I requested a room change. Restaurant is expensive. Parking is also. Public parking around corner is cheaper.
My rub with them is offering shuttle service on their web site and not having it. Fix the site! I made my transportation plans based on that information. Front desk was unsympathetic.

Meeting friends in the area is a little of the heart inside without a large Landmark luckily the Doubletree has a wonderful air conditioner and very kind bartenders they also gave us recommendations on where to go listen to Jazz it was a wonderful experience

Hotel needs a major upgrade, my key wouldn t open my room and I had to go get a replacement 3 times. It finally opened after 25 min of going back and forth with front desk. My neighbor had kids and were loud loud security told them to keep it down but did not work. Also some of the electrical outlets were broken in the room.also You don t need a key to access the elevators so security is problem. Last thing I would say is that the views of the city are not bad but the Outside windows do need a major cleaning. I stayed at a couple of doubletree hotels and this one has been the worst by far.

Nice place. Water was luke warm during my shower, and no breakfast available due to covid-19; understandably. The room was nice and tidy. Comfy bed/pillows, AC was very comfy. The soaps were pleasent, Overall, it was nice. The area is sketchy at night. Fire crackers going off randomly. Watch where you step when walking around the side walks. Lots of random "things" to not step on.

Homeless man greeting guests at the front door. Given a room key to a room that was already occupied. The final room was set up for 2 people and we are a party of 4. The paint is peeling off the walls in the bathroom. Sirens all night and a 0200 serenade by a neighboring bail bond business patron. Not a restful start to our vacation. They did comp parking.

The location is very quiet for LA and great because the red line of the metro can be reached in about 5 minutes. For dining, Little Tokyo offers. The roof garden is nicely done and invites you to sit down!

I stayed in this hotel for two days, and I was impressed because these guys were able to provide me an excellent service that I have ever tried. The foods there are very delicious, and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. I will surely recommend this hotel to everyone because of the amazing service and highly-trained staff that they provided. Truly amazing! Thanks a lot!
