The best choice when It comes to the hotel's accommodations. I would definitely recommend and refer your services to everyone without any hesitation. Their great interiors truly attract their customers. No hidden charges compare to others, and no hidden flaws at all. The most trustworthy place to feel secure and safe. Cheers!

Location ....Not as good as i thought.
There's 7 eleven across the street and some restaurants and market adjacent to the hotel building.
Almost imossible to eat inside the room as there's no furniture ( king and two double bed room )

Great location , older building and you can hear everything outside including trash trucks due to the windows that could be replaced to help deaden the sound. Rooms are large but some are showing wear especially with the bathtubs that have been reglazed. At check in we were offered 1,000 bonus Hilton Honors or free breakfast. We choose the free breakfast which would of cost us $50 for the two of us. Breakfast offered made to order omelets , cereal , fruit and regular breakfast meats.

N / A

First - we were denied early check in.

First - we were denied early check in.
2nd - we were denied an upgrade.
3rd - we were denied a request to change our payment option.

Conclusion - if attendant denied us these rights to simply be malign, then it's within our right to feel discriminated against.
And for the record, we will never stay at this location again!

Nice clean hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but they make up for that with the nice water garden they have. They are great for meditation or to do yoga. Wifi is sub par quality. It is nice to have the courtesy shuttle, you pay them what you pay to a taxi or the train and they get you to where you want to be- door to door service. The staff are professional. There is a lot of options for food around the area. I just wish if they served breakfast. Even is just a simple continental meal.
The art on the walls is great! and the view from the high floors is great. I enjoyed my stay greatly!

Highly recommended Hotel in the town! It was my first time coming to your Hotel and I was so shocked by the service that you, guys provided on that day. The food was also very delicious and I really want to come here again and again. I should highly recommend your Hotel to everyone! Thank you so much!

One of my favorite locations to stay at when staying in downtown Los Angeles. Great location if you're doing anything in downtown Los Angeles and right next door is the little Tokyo shopping center. The rooms are clean and the staff has always been friendly. Best of all, there's a Joe's parking lot across the street that you can park for $10 a night instead of parking at the hotel for $35+ a night.

There was a person who entered my room without knocking or announcing themselves while I was in the bed sleep. Note: it was not housekeeping... I spoke with security and management and no one contacted me all day to clear the situation up. Once I returned to the hotel after my day of meetings to speak with the manager he offer 2 days of parking to be removed from my bill but there was no empathy in the conversation. I felt as though my safety and mental unease was disregarded by Richard the manager.

Really nice hotel. My room had stunning views of the city. Hotel does charge $35 a day for parking, i recommend using one of the nearby Joe's Parking garages, which only charge $10 a day. The one i used was a five min walk from the hotel.

Decent hotel, older but renovated. Really annoyed with Hilton customer service, app and website. They claim that you get the lowest price booking direct. This is not true - looking at same time, hotel tonight was $45 cheaper for the same room than direct with Hilton. Not only that, but they would not honor their price guarantee. So while the hotel stay was decent, getting there and squared away was horrible. Fyi this was a reroute from another Hilton hotel that I was able to book through the app, and after I was in a cab on my way, they called and said they oversold and rerouted me. On top of that, they did not guarantee the rate I booked originally but charged me $75 more than my original booked price.

Jennifer is awesome!! We had a terrible hotel issue and she helped us and truly went the extra mile when she didn t have to accommodate us. I work in customer service and I can see that she genuinely wanted to help. She was beyond helpful!! 10/10 thank you Jennifer!

Standard Hilton experience of a quality room and friendly service. But poor internet, no complimentary breakfast of any kind, and faucets that only have scalding hot and cold.

The garden level is nice, relaxing and different than the usual hotel experience. But it s ambiance is fully undermined by having a guy blow 14 leaves around with a loud electric blower at 8am when a rake or broom would do.

Feels like they know the experience they want to provide, but fall short on the execution. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Stayed her for one night in the Olympic suite on the 21st floor. Suite was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Suite was clean; however, the carpet needs to be shampooed. Location is in Little Tokyo which is walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice venue, was here for a business meeting. They did a good job for seating and speaker phone systems. After meeting lunch was at the garden level, nice outdoor place to hang out under the warm LA SUN

The hotel was extremely convenient to local attractions, however parking was very expensive and the gardens were inaccessible for the duration of our stay due to private events. The hotel was nice, but the rooms themselves felt somewhat dated compared to the lobby and other comparable hotels.

Great service. Nice lobby. Right next to Little Tokyo. The beds are comfortable but the bathroom is a bit small than other DoubleTree hotels. Keep in mind it is a older building. I would stay here again.

One of my favorite Hotels in DTLA. Clean, has a starbucks attached, good breakfast downstairs, beds are comfy, rooms are decent. Only bad part, though this goes with all of DTLA, is parking is expensive. Valet is $40. Closest self parking is 2 blocks, and its $20. So it's up to you where convenience lies.

Anthony, the lobby manager of this hotel, was very rude, and although he was all Asian, I felt that he was suspected of racial discrimination. From the moment I walked in, he made a face that I couldn't live in this hotel. And I saw that there is no parking fee. But this hotel charged me 41 dollars a night for parking. The hardware is also very common. The reason why I stayed here for one night is to express my dissatisfaction with the hotel manager! Consider carefully before moving in

The DoubleTree continues to amaze as my favorite hotel chain of all time. Amicable staff here, clean and vibrant lobby, and of course some of the best cookies you ll ever have anywhere, hands down. Always a pleasure to come to the DoubleTree by Hilton!

Really great location (close to the 405), clean rooms, with lots of room to work if you don't want to work down in the spacious lobby or restaurant area and good food and drinks later in the day. Staff was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Would definitely sTay here again for business in the area.

Contacting the front desk by text is a great and convinient service! The garden is beautiful and rooms clean and spacious. Just remember to keep ur key card away from your phone or risk "de-magnetizing" your key card and locking yourself out.

Very comfortable rooms with good facilities. The place is close to Grand Central market which is very convenient. Check out the Japanese garden during your stay. Room seevice is top notch and food at Urban travern which is just below the hotel was excellent. Starbucks is right next door and I loved staying at this hotel.

Hilton in name only. Despite triple-checking, my 3rd party reservation was for the wrong day, & the front desk had no record of it on ANY day. Staff was unfriendly, lobby, halls & room were dark & drab, no parking for my oversize vehicle (SUV with roof box), room was very average with paper-thin walls & people yelling next door. No view. No complimentary internet or breakfast. All this for $240 on a weeknight? I left after 20 minutes & asked for my money back. Staff refused, so I called my credit card company to stop payment.

We had an excellent experience with the helpful staff from the first phone call through to check-in, dining, and check-out! Our rooms were very clean modern and very accommodating. Their food was also very delicious and mouthwatering. Thank you very much for the very unforgettable experience! We will definitely be staying again!

Beware of the cancellation policy -- 4 to 6 days in advance of your stay. I travel for work, and got a last minute change to my schedule and had to change the dates of my hotel stay. DoubleTree by Hilton would not waive the fee, even though I told them I'd re-book with them immediately. Their policy is inflexible and I have wasted time on the phone with them trying to be connected to the correct department, just to be told that I would be charged a night regardless. My guess it they re-book that room and earn twice as much on it. Check out other great hotels in the area, with less aggressive policies to cancel/re-schedule if you do travel for work or are uncertain of your plans.
