A great experience. The staff were very helpful and accomidating. Clean quiet rooms.
Hosted a conference last week amd the staff rose to the occasion.
Wish all the rooms had fridges but the cookies are awesome.
I stayed there for a conference. The room was neat and very clean. The only thing I found lacking was complimentary WiFi. I think it's really a thing of the past to make guests pay for it.
Nice place. Awesome decor in lobby and rooms!! Clean room!! Unfortunately there were a lot of obnoxious and rude teenagers all over the place!! Roaming around, running up and down the elevators, in and out of the building, and using very vulger disrespectful language. Undecided if I'd go back, if I did it definitely wouldn't be a Saturday night!!!
Fun place, the inside will remind you of a mall with the long hallways and tiled flooring.
Nice size rooms. Would be nice to have queens instead of doubles. We didn't have bath towels in our room and there were stray hairs in various locations (ceiling, walls). Microwave and mini fridge. Lots of parking. Pool was warm, hot tub was nice. Pool area could use a good cleaning. With kids it would be nice to be poolside as there is no pool restroom. Airport shuttles leave on the :30, but get there early or it might leave early if it fills up. Would stay again for an early flight.
Clean room with a great view, hotel staff are very helpful and professional. Accessible location, lots of poke stops nearby. Great bar.
Very nice hotel, helpful friendly staff, clean updated rooms.
Stayed here for Convergence. Didn't actually interact much with hotel staff, but the place seems pretty nice. Rooms could be bigger.
There was a gaming convention there last summer and it was a great hotel for it
Good space for our very large group. A/Verizon systems were great.
I can't put it into words. The hotel is beautiful, service was great. Perfect place for VIKINGS games
Our room was tiny, the one bed was pushed up against the wall. I was not impressed with this hotel at all
Nice large Hotel all the standard amenities I love DoubleTree and Hilton properties
Parking is limited by construction, but the hotel is willing to put up with a lot of shenanigans for a big conference, so it's appreciated.
Could use a facelift here and there but overall not the worst.
Staff keeps up on cleaning the bathrooms well!!! Also the building is very pretty.
DoubleTree is a decent hotel. Decent food. Nothing spectacular, but suitable.
It was an amazing expiriance at the convention that I went to, I hope to go again
The convention I attended at the DoubleTree was excellent! A great venue!
It is a large hotel, but for the small, very basic room seemed very expensive. Staff was nice. Hot chocolate chip cookie at checkin. Hot shower was nice.
Bed and bathroom were nice. Halls had a lot of damage. No fridge or microwave in room.
Toilet seat clearly was not clean with urines marks from previous occupants. Chair has visible mark so as toilet paper. Called to complain and was told all cleaning staffs went home so not going to happen. I had to eliminate 3 spiders that roamed around (there were more more if I wanted to). Dining room served with utensils that were not cleaned at all. What's amazing was that all those could have been easily caught. They were dirty beyond any reasonable doubts.
Wonderful place to stay 22nd floor has amazing view
Rooms are good. Food at the hotel is expensive. But good conference rooms.
Not always the cleanest. Very poor restaurant service. Rooms are decent. Front desk staff is helpful.
Location was great, very comfortable and accommodating for the event.
Very comfortable rooms and solid service options. Our room needed minor cleaning in one area, but that was likely due to a convention which had just ended. Our friend's room was in excellent shape.
I was there for an expo and it was awesome. The hotel I have no idea what it's like.
Very good! Bol, who welcomed me to the hotel, was extremely nice and interesting!! Hotel stay was good. Only complaint is that the Starbucks was closed in the afternoon and evening.
Wife and I got in late after the Loons game at the new stadium. Super friendly service at the desk and due to large number of families staying his weekend the staff Martin,Becca, and Dave upgraded us to bigger room on quieter floor we didn t even ask. Unexpected but very appreciated by us!
There was a confusion about our room reservation, so they upgraded us for free! Great service and friendly staff, great room as well. Definitely will book again!
Rooms are very out dated, needing worn and stained
From my firts stay, this has always been my landing spot everytime I am in the cities. Love it
was there for the Republican rally the other night on Tuesday and ask the people at the desk where it was there was no signs anywhere and they kind of weren't too happy I don't think that we were there one July was black and the other one was I'm not sure what nationality was but I didn't appreciate it but added to it that they looked at us like I was a mind readerthey should have had signs up so we won't have to bother them to ask cuz obviously they were a little offended their manager should have talked to them about what was coming there that night and how to treat their people I wouldn't go there to stay for nothing, but I did have a good time up stairs with a lot of Republicans and good people and had a great night and then we left
Nice enough hotel, but the bed was terrible and uncomfortable
It is a hotel. The regular staff, or at least the ones that remain that have not quit or been fired, do a fantastic job. Recent ownership has made it abundantly clear that there are people who are not welcome there. There are plenty of other hotels to stay at, don't support this idiocy.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Meeting spaces worked very well for our conference. Great catered food as well. Would recommend for conference/meeting space and overnight stays.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful for conventions held here. The venue is clean, with ample space.
Can I give negative stars? If I could, that would be GREAT! Valet is awesome. That's about the extent of it. I booked a room here and asked for a joining room considering I have a group of small children with me. When I made my reservations, I was told there were SEVERAL joining rooms available and that I would be GUARANTEED to get one. So, fast forward to check in. All the joining rooms were booked, and who would of guessed the rooms I reserved were "non-refundable". The lady behind the counter was just snotty and rude. I went to their little gift shop to buy the kids some snacks for after the pool. Stood there for 15 minutes and LUCKILY some other random employee came to help. After both girls just stood and stared at me. And lets not get started on how their "queen" beds are really fulls and the rooms are FAR from spacious. This was my first time EVER staying at a Hilton and I will NEVER stay at another. Apparently I wasnt the only one having a terrible experience here. Every time I rode in the elevator, different couples were complaining about both girls at the front desk. Steer clear from this place if you have high hopes for getting the room you paid for or nice and friendly customer service.
We are attending the doubletree for CONvergence, and the staff is very accommodating of the convention. The site is perfect for large scale conventions of this sort, with the indoor courtyard and plenty of conference rooms. I cant imagine a better location for this type of event
Conference venues that host late night events in close proximity to guest room are a poor business model.
Had a group function. Nice private party rooms upstairs with staffed bar
Very nice hotel with an exceptional bar and restaurant. The banquet halls are well lit, tastefully decorated, and configurable for your needs. Highly recommend for events.
I go to a coyple events a year here and have always had a good experience.
The hotel is in a good location and depending on which tower you are staying in, your room will be updated. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
The negative part about this hotel is within the Vista tower. You can hear EVERYTHING (showers in use, toilets flushing, talking, tvs) within the rooms next to you and across the hall. I have stayed on different floors of the Vista tower and it seems that it is a consistent problem.
If you stay here, request a room within the small tower. If your only option is the Vista tower, I found turning the room fan on helps drown out some of the noise from conjoining rooms.
Accommodations are great, friendly amd helpful staff
Nice place to meet for a date and business meetings. It also accommodates entertainment services. Modeling, designing, acting and dancing...
Room layout was not what I expected but the staff was nice and the food was delicious. No warm cookie welcome either
Visited for a expo/show. Parking was plentiful, inside was clean, and lots of space
Our company frequently has classes and meetings at Double Tree and it's always a great place to go. They take pride in their building and are always clean and staffed with friendly employees.
I only went there for the show, so I'm afraid I can't really help you out here.
It was good we had a good time we went for a conference for church.
Went to an event held at the Doubletree. Proved to be a very good venue for the type of event that I was attending!
Nice meeting spaces. I was there for an industry event and the meeting rooms were nice. The food, not so great.
Hotel is outdated. Prepare to be nickel and dimed until your budget begs for mercy. There are far better venues with modern ameneties. I would plan an event someplace else.
Quiet, comfortable, easy to get to. Friendly people.
It was a clean facility and was a very family friendly environment. I was there for a business meeting and the setting seemed appropriate.
I visited as a member of a convention. It was very apparent that hotel management did not want us there. The convention was nickeled and dimed at every opportunity and treated disgracefully. The staff are wonderful, it's too bad that the hotel is old and sad and the management is uncooperative, unhelpful, and unwilling to work with clients. I would discourage anyone contemplating booking a convention here.
This hotel is older and a bit run down. I had to change rooms as the first one they put me in overlooked an indoor courtyard where they would teardown and setup events late at night or early in the morning. The nosie was loud and made it difficult to sleep. The new room was in one of the towers and was a little nicer from a decor perspective. I don't have Hilton status, maybe they take care of their regular with better rooms and amenities?
I thank the double tree greatly for hosting our event this year and every year. They do a great job preparing their location and long the hotel running well for the entirely of the event. An extra thank you yup their fabulous staff!
Great location and staff. Hotel could use an update.
The staff is always friendly, the rooms have been clean the vast majority of the times I've stayed her for government or personal business. The warm cookies are pretty awesome as well. Beats getting a more expensive room by the airport, by far.
Nice enough hotel but definitely needs refreshing. Worn and well used.
Probably one of the better places I have ever stayed at the cities. The staff was very friendly.
First the good.. a nice cookie when u checked in. Very quick check in time. Had a small issue getting to the eighth floor. Had to call the front desk. They sent someone right away only to discover it was my error.. oops. Great room and very spacious. Everything was clean. Nice big towels in the bathroom.
The bad.... when I got to my room the door was open as the cable repair guy in my room. Now Apparently there had been some issues with the new cable system. I was not happy to have a stranger standing there when I walk in.
With that being said I would stay there again in a heartbeat
Wonderful experience. Nice rooms, huge hot tub, and quiet.
The rate is high, and only thing I liked more about this hotel was the lobby. Other than that I prefer a comfort inn honestly. The room was run down with paint chips off the wall. No fridge or microwave in room.
Seems like it is getting old. Sections were blocked off for remodeling, other sections felt almost abandoned. They were hosting some sort of group of unsavory characters the night I was there; definitely made the other guests uncomfortable with their hate filled glares.
