My inly hiccup with the hotel is that the outlets do not hold what you plug in and therefore do not charge your equipment. And they also need more outlets in the rooms easily accessible. Otherwise, excellent customer service at the front desk and room service. The hotel was also very good itself.

Nice facillities. The breakfast was good. The common rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi was readily available and there were lots of helpful people working. Food for reception was nothing special and extremely limited if you are gluten free.

Rooms are large, beds are comfortable, and the bar food is tasty. Shuttle service is less than reliable, cleaning crew will likely unplug your refrigerator for you (even if you have items in it), and breakfast seating is chaotic at best. The hostess insistes on combining parties and refuses to open the adjacent seating area (even with 7 conferences going on in the hotel) causing a 15 minute wait for breakfast.

For the most part the service was good. Staff was helpful and very cordial. The room was as advertised, a junior suite with jacuzzi. The room at first was clean and tidy. Upon closer examination there was debris in the jacuzzi drain and the area around it appeared to have been given a quick once-over. The TV remote did not have enough range to operate from the bed. Requested a fix and never saw anyone come to the room. Not a deal breaker but disappointing for what I paid to have a suite. Would I return? Probably, as I have stayed in that hotel under three different banners.

Large hotel/conference facility with great staff. The Hilton Honors Lounge is one of the best I have visited in a Doubletree hotel. The restaurant just off the lobby is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The adjacent lounge is terrific for an adult beverage with friends in the evening.

Very friendly staff, clean building and rooms, warm chocolate chip cookie with walnuts upon check in! There are a number of restaurants within walking distances (TGIFridays, Chili's, Burger King, Dairy Queen, and more). Pool and exercise room included! Mall of America was about a 10 minute drive away. Overall great experience!

Great staff mattress was soft and comfortable same with the pillows + blankets the only thing wrong was the people in the room next to us were shouting and disturbing my children from sleeping but overall a good place to go even has a pool!

The room was clean.

The room was clean.

The lack of AC and ventilation in the room was unbearable, however. Want to turn on the ventilation in the bathroom? Good luck! There s only one switch, and it s for lights. This hotel takes your environmental control away while giving you the false hope of being able to control it with the thermostat. If you want to take your mind off the heat and watch some TV, then enjoy their vast array of about 20 channels.

After you fall asleep, you ll really know why you should go elsewhere because the beds are so uncomfortable you will likely leave with back pain. The pain does not stop there. No complimentary breakfast ($16/person). Be careful around the staff as well, they can be seen drinking whiskey and coke while setting up.

Side note: Free nutty oatmeal chocolate chip cookies handed out with no warning of nut allergies at front desk when checking in. Hope no one with a serious but allergy comes here.

Sketchy place for the price and atmosphere here.

Clean and comfy rooms, friendly staff, fast check-in, and complimentary bottle of Champaign on ice upon check-in due to my and husbands 13yr anniversary. Also, the view was amazing. Everthing you need is (accommodations) available at hotel. Amazing food, reasonable prices. I give this establishment 2 thumbs up.

Hotel is flooding reviews with fake 5 stars. It s outdated and unfriendly. Been going there for for 3 decades for conventions and old ownership and management were awesome and helpful but the last 5 years they ve nickeled and dimed every possible cost while allowing their accommodations to degrade and become downright nasty. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere, anywhere else. Our con has finally left after this year due to their buffonary and hostility.

The event room in which I was in was extremely spacious and had excellent audio set up. The hotel was easy to navigate and despite other events occurring at the same time we did not feel crowded or disrupted.

I hadn t been in a large hotel tower in a while and I travel almost every week.
First thing that got my attention was the parking or distance from the door. I m so glad it was summer! Another was that they recognized my preference of room placement.
However a room over the pool isn t my ideal floor as a Hilton member I d rather awaken to the sun than the roof over the pool. I didn t eat there but I did use the business center which was kinda small and inconspicuous considering the size of the lobby.

PROS:

PROS:
-Friendly, professional staff
-North Tower room was HUUUUUGE
-Bed and pillows were very close to perfect
-Temperature control was exactly what I wanted
-The facilities overall is quite clean and nice
-Hot water with lots of pressure for shower, also not overdone water softener
-Replete with shower towels and rags
-2 cup coffee maker in room with trimmings
-Plenty of lamps
-Clock radio with AUX for your phone
-A DESK and computer chair
-Largest TV I've had at a hotel
-HBO is complimentary and HD
-Reasonable assortment of goodies in the gift shop
-Tons of drawer/dresser space

CONS:
-No fridge
-No complimentary continental breakfast
-You must pay for WiFi
-Smallish trashcans (this is not a real complaint)
-Security won't address noise complaints that are outside of the building, only inside.

EXPLANATIONS: There was a group of 15 or so people in the courtyard near the east entrance, literally directly between the two towers of the hotel, who were drunk and yelling, full out yelling, waking me up out of a dead sleep at 230am. I'm all about merriment, but yelling that wakes up a guy 6 floors away from dead sleep seems like overkill. The front desk person I spoke with said that security won't do anything about it since it's outside of the building, and wouldn't budge when I protested that it still appeared to be Double Tree property, as it was fully furnished with chaira and tables, and smack dab in the middle of the towers. He didn't offer to help himself, just stating he'd tell security anway, and the group carried on until 330am or so. I opted to go to bed in earplugs, though I debated calling the cops since it was apparently outside of hotel seucirity's jurisdiction. I don't know the rules of hotel security, so I could very well be ignorant of something here. But that just seemed ridiculous to me.

I've also stayed at multiple lower end hotels (Best Western, Days Inn, Super 8, heck even KOAs) that have both free WiFi and continental breakfast. Maybe I'm just not used to higher end places, so this may be standard, but I was surprised.

I debated on 3/5 because of how miffed I was about the noise issue, but the staff really were pleasant and professional (even the guy I spoke with about the noise) and the place was well kept and spacious, so I don't think it deserves that low a rating. 4/5 overall.

Hotel is nice and pool is very nice but cleaning service is why I give 3 stars. I have stayed here twice before and both times I stayed for 3 nights. The first time I stayed I put my do not disturb on my door because my room was fine and a lady stopped me as I left my room and told me how she can t make money if I don t let her clean my room and she cleaned it anyway. This time when I stayed, I was walking back to my room when I watched the cleaning guy take the do not disturb sign off the door and put it on the ground. I walked up and told him I put a do not disturb on the door and he said it fell off .

One of my favorite places to stay in Twin Cities. So relaxing and comfortable! Lots of food options near by and the service is quick and responsive.

Some furniture needs to be updated but not a big deal.

We stayed for a yearly basketball tournament. When we got there, we waited in line for 15 minutes to be checked in. Once it was my turn, the receptionist barely spoke to me, he was trying to send towels to a different guest room at the same time as checking me in. I was also told that others on our team received cookies at check in, not that I expected them, but that shows the lack of attention I was receiving. Also, everyone else received a piece of paper explaining what events were going on at the hotel...didn't receive that either. Then, we got to our room, our room was extremely small and only had 1 bed, when I choose 2 at booking. I called downstairs, I was put on hold for about 10 minutes, so I hung up. I called back, got someone else, I was told a manager would call me back in 10 minutes, that never happened. So I called back a 3rd time, I explained myself again, the lady told me there was nothing she could do, I had to come back downstairs to stand in line and speak with the front desk. After standing in line again for about 20 minutes this time, the lady switched us to a king room with a pull out bed. The room was bigger, but the decor felt dingy and outdated to me. When talking to other parents from our team, who were also staying there, they had similar problems...received a different room than they booked, air conditioning didn't work at first then started whistling when it did work. Next year, we will not be staying here for this tournament, many parents agreed upon this. This tournament was no surprise to this hotel, it's a yearly event, but they don't seem to have been prepared.

The room was nice, but there was no refrigerator, or microwave. The WiFi was spotty at best. The customer service was not accommodating. A lot of I don't knows, not a lot of I'll see what I can do.
