Was given a check-in time.
Room was not ready for three hours.
Big red stain on carpet of room.
Maid never came to clean (don't worry, she got no tip).
Worst hotel I ever stayed at.

This may be the first review ever by a someone who hasn t even been to this hotel. But I am so impressed by the responsiveness of the staff and especially the general manager, Ray Landry, that I feel I must leave a review. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my concerns. Thank you for your promise to hold yourself and your staff to the highest standard in caring for your guests. Thank you for being a kind and decent person in a difficult situation. No, more than that, thank you for being honorable. You are a knight in shining armor if ever there was one. May you always be that to those under your care.

Terrible hotel, after years of doing a great job hosting conventions, the new management seems determined to give the worst possible experience to thousands of returning customers.

They're closing down the convention's free coffee bar to force attendees to buy the overpriced, bad coffee from their cafe, and they're also banning alcohol in any private room parties that's not served by hotel employees. Many room party hosts can't afford these costs and will be shutting down after years of operation. They also double-booked the space in an attempt to force out the event that has called their hotel home for many years.

I will make sure to never stay at this hotel, and recommend that anyone who wants a hotel that actually cares about customer experience go elsewhere.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean & comfy but a little too cozy for 4. Breakfast was a little on the high $ide but you get what you pay for. Nice variety of options on the buffet and waitstaff was great. Pool area was clean and spacious. Hot tub had weak jets.

The hotel is lovely, encompassing many amenities. The rooms are large and comfortable. However, the bathroom is EXTREMELY small. The toilet sticks out from the sink, leaving you very limited room to navigate. It is extremely awkward and frustrating.

Kids were out of control at the pool and it was a mess, there were 20 or 30 of them and no staff to regulate or refill towels. Later the kids were running up and down the hallways at 11 o clock at night. Room was nice enough but nothing special and food was way overpriced.

Mildly disappointing. This was my first time staying at a Hilton property as I had recently been matched to Diamond from a competitor. Overall, the hotel felt uncomfortable (dim white lighting, un-welcoming floorplans, odd color schemes, etc) and outdated (older furniture and decorations - even my toilet looked like it was from the 80's, but it worked so I can't complain). The staff was very kind and helpful, but other than that something felt sub par at nearly every turn. The windows in my room had a weird orange-ish tint that made it look dirty and smoggy outside. And, the walls were very thin - I was woken up to my neighbor across the hall loudly vomiting in his room just after 2am. I certainly can't blame the hotel for this man being so irresponsible on a Monday night, but the memory of laying in bed listening to a neighbor vomiting is not something that makes me want to return.

Always a favorite place to stay! Free cookies do that! Seriously always clean, friendly, great location. We have been coming here for last decade and they are always updating and improving the property. Can't go wrong here. Staff is super nice. We used to be able to get rooms for $45, but last few stays are closer to $100.

I went to a minor event held in one of the atrium. The room was nice for what the event was. My largest complaint, if any, was the map located in the front lobby does not properly show the atriums

We are staying on the eighth floor in a spacious room with a large single bed that includes a comfortable sofa bed, a flat screen tv, and a large office desk and chair. Be very careful if with small children, as the windows open out and do not have a screen or any safety mechanism. The room is obviously out of date and smells of old furniture and is a bit dusty but it is decent enough, as it is only a 15 minute drive to the mall of america and not too far from the zoo and downtown Minneapolis.

Excellent conference location, equipped to handle large events. Much room for any size function. They were even setting up for a concert when we were leaving our conference. Only complaints were that the temperature was very cold throughout, and the catered food was a little bland tasting.

Did the park and fly, shuttle is supposed to pickup on the hour, every hour. They didn't show up until 15 minutes after then drove another 20 minutes to a different terminal to "check" for other passengers. Save your time and take an Uber

Great service and convention space. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. WiFi available for a price or to Hilton rewards members for free. Over all great place will return.

Absolutely poor service. Customer service vs hospitality is absolutely different. I had a situation with checking in on the day of, so I went to the hotel a day early to see what can be done or how they could assist me with the situation. Even after making my time to get there to explain, Martin Vergada, Assistant Front Office Manager was not receiving the information and willing to not understand AT ALL. The way he talked to me was condescending and sarcastic with a smile. He cut the conversation and treated me like a child. I felt absolutely humiliated. He acted like he was privileged to do whatever he wanted.
The hotel will lose a lot of people by having him and a face of the hotel.

Very disappointed. Room we were given was next to service elevators, away from rest of rooms on the floor. Like this room was added on since they had some spare space. Noisy with elevator noise and isolated From rest of hotel. Not what we expected from Hilton, since I am a Hilton member. Will probably be a long time before we will use Hilton again. Internet access was also very sporadic, cuts in and out.

My wife and I went here on New Years Eve to celebrate and spend time with our daughter, grandson and granddaughter. We reserved a poolside room and I was very much looking forward to spending time on the pool deck and hanging out for the evening to celebrate the new year.

But there wasn't one thing about our stay that I can say was good.

First thing was it took 45 minutes to check in and then we found out we didn't have a pool side room but a second floor room with a "pool view'.

Then the pool area was about 60 degrees - not kidding one bit. The hot tub was luke warm at best and while I put on my swim trunks I never once got in the pool or hot tub. It was so cold in that hotel that other guests were wearing winter jackets BY THE POOL! Our room had a little patio area out in front but we had to take the comforters off the bed and use them to keep warm. They are pet friendly and my daughter brought her dog but he wouldn't lay on the tile floor because it was so cold.

At 6:45am we were woke up by people down by the pool that were loud and the sounds came right through our room. Even worse it woke up the kids. I figured I would go get some coffee for us and low and behold they had no complimentary coffee but a Starbucks with $3.50 medium sized cups. Went down there with a ten dollar bill, bought three coffees and had to go back for more money. I was so pissed.

Would I recommend this hotel to friends. Not on your life. Our room was $170 and at this point I feel like it was a total waste of money. This is a tired old hotel.

Huge place and easy to find off the highway. Our room was very nicely decorated and quite comfortable. Enjoyed our complimentary tea and coffee in our room. Nice bar and restaurant down by the lobby, reasonably priced. The pool and excercise room was fantastic. What doesn't this place have!

This hotel is huge and contains a giant room in the middle, which was used for an event when I was there. The layout is quite odd in my opinion. There's a Starbucks and small convenience store inside.

I was recently an attendee of the glazier football clinic. Glazier did an amzing job. However this year again a bunch of grown men, football player type men were shoved into tiny rooms and had to sit on small chairs looking at projector screens that were barely visible from some angles. While the staff seemed to be very accommodating the amenities were not that great.

Told our event at the last minute that we couldn't serve the drinks we already bought without hiring their staff at $100 per hour to serve them.

Don't ever host an event here. They will screw you at every opportunity.

Was here last summer for a tennis tournament with my girlfriend. Really enjoyed the place and the room. So why not five stars? There was probably five different conventions that stayed in the hotel in our two or three nights. It was a bit intense... but in our room excellent

Great!

This place has gotten a lot better, I stayed here about 3 years ago and it was going through some major changes. The rooms are super nice, amenities are great, pool was nice and warm hot tub was hot went down for the breakfast buffet it was delicious.

Well first off, the parking lot is pretty far away from the entrance which is very annoying considering the amount of things we have to carry in including our baby and her carseat, especially in this cold weather. Also the rooms are pretty outdated. The double beds are super small and not very comfortable. It was either two doubles or a king bed they have no queen size beds. The heater in the room made the room really stuffy making it hard for my family to sleep well. The shower, tile and bathtub are very outdated. Seriosuly must be 20 years old. If theres one thing I like when staying at a hotel is a nice bathroom. The pool is nice and has a huge hot tub and I liked the breakfast they served here that's about it.

Staying at the Hilton. Staff was friendly and accommodating, we showed up early and let us check our bags and use some of the facilities while we waited for our room to be ready. We went swimming while we waited, the pool was so so. Floors around pool are extremely slippery and there's no life guard. Rooms were nice and modern, but no fridge or microwave.

I reserved this hotel by mistake on the first place. I was it was Hilton I didn t knw it s different hotel under Hilton management. The hotel is good but they get 0/10 customers service especially the manager. But you ask simple things they will tell you the manger will be better answer but you never get hold of it.

Really enjoyed bringing my family here! We loved the cookies! The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. I was also treated really great when I wanted to add another day and pay in cash. The manager who is an Indian man made sure I was happy leaving from that desk. I really liked it here and would book again.

"the tower" as i referred to it, stayed here for a night, over all an enjoyable experience, just did not like how they allowed kids to play in the hot tub, I went there to let the kids have their space in the pool, not to be followed by them, but despite that, If i find myself back in the area i will seriously consider staying here again.

Staff members were on top of things during the 2016 CONvergence weekend, and had excellent attention to detail even during peak hours. Rooms and meeting areas were classy and comfortable. Excellent hotel.
