Overall very nice. Good internet speed. Comfy room. Only complaint is the exorbitant pricing for breakfast. Go to Starbucks!

Great location 1 mile or less in all directions from many attractions. Close to Subway line and bus station and Eaton Centre. A lot of restaurants close by...

A nice hotel in a good location. The staff was friendly, but the lobby did get rather crowded at check-in and check-out times. I didn't try their restaurant, but I did visit their bar for a bloody mary that I did not like at all.

Went to lai wah been. Dim sum was good but maybe slightly overpriced. The menu items had a better value

Great location and extremely friendly staff! The hotel is well maintained and kept very clean. My double bed room felt a little too small for my wife and I (with 2 toddlers) but otherwise I was pleased with my stay.

Very tastefully decorated, the four-star hotel s rooms and suites are a delight to stay in. Its lobby, restaurant, and business centre look just as impressive. In addition, it has an indoor pool, fitness centre, and sauna.

Location: Just minutes from lots of shops, restaurants and bars, the DoubleTree is ideally located for exploring the downtown area.

Worst hotel MANAGEMENT EVER! Was stuck in DoubleTree Hilton's downtown Toronto elevator for over an HOUR and management did NOTHING!! Only reason I got out was because I called the fire department and THEY got me out. DoubleTree sent an old man with a flashlight over an hour later. If I didn't take it upon myself to call, who knows how many more hours I would have spent there. Then they had the audacity to NOT REFUND either of my 2 nights because it was booked w/ a 3rd party provider. I didn't get stuck in the 3rd party provider's elevator, I got stuck in YOUR ELEVATOR. Avoid at all costs as management will not take care of you. Any other hotel would have refunded and given multiple free nights.

Great location. The conference rooms in the basement were great but the Seattle Room on the 26th floor was a little small for the purpose of our conference.

This hotel was better than expected. The rooms were small but seemed updated and clean. The staff was very friendly and they make a point of asking if there is anything else they can do to improve your stay. I also like that the hotel is so close to everything in the city or just a quick transit ride. The only issue that I could see someone having is that they are doing construction next to the hotel so sleeping in is not ideal on a weekday. But as I was there for business I was up before the construction and they were completed by the time I was back at the end of the day.

The warm cookies and bottle of water in the room were a nice bonus. Extremely friendly staff

I had a recent stay at this hotel for business. We had booked quite a bit in advance as I had an important business trip with my business partner. To save on funds, we booked one room, but we specifically booked 2 Beds, which it listed on our booking. When we showed up to the hotel, we were told that we had 1 double bed and there was nothing that they could do. They offered no suggestions, no solutions, and nothing to assist with the inconvenience or mishap. Needless to say, one of us was forced to sleep on the floor, which they had no remorse for, and there was no refund or reimbursement as a result of their error. Really disappointed and won't be returning to DoubleTree.

Very average hotel - but you do get what you pay for. Rooms are quite aging. Wouldn't come here myself but I had a complimentary stay.

Front guy and house keeper lady are friendly and nice. There is clean pool and sauna. Room is very clean too. I have pollen allergies and can t stop sneezing. I need a air purifier in the room...

Great hotel, clean, friendly staffs, and at a good location.

This is a decent hotel. Warm cookie on check in, great service, good morning breakfast, and comfortable beds. Parking in the building could be tight/tough, but I've always found a spot. I generally end up coming back here because it's a solid spot and in a great location.

About what you would expect. Nothing out of the ordinary. Pillows are too soft. The cookies are nice.

Location was great! The lobby and the hotel was nice BUT there was some negatives:
The room was SO TINY that we had limited room to maneuver around our suitcases let alone each other. The bed was not comfortable and we had a view of a hoarder across the street! :S

We couldn't take a nap in the afternoon because our room was situated right next to the concierge room, so we kept waking up to doors slamming and loud talking. Someone from their "careline" called and assured me that the noise should get better in the evening.....and it didn't.

I can't believe we spent $250 dollars for that.....

Attended a work related event in the Victoria room in which breakfast was served. There was a good assortment of breakfast foods and service was lovely.

Arrogant staff, terrible customer service and added charges on my card and admitted it was a mistake. Stay away! Sheraton is much better!

I had a 3 night reservation.

On the plus side, my room was clean, it wad nice to know there was a gym, and location is good.

On the downside, i had had my wallet stolen the previous week and only had my bank card on me. This was their chance to shine during a stressful time for me, and they failed.

They insisted on photocopying my ID, wanted full pay + $260 deposit up front, they looked at me suspiciously and had security check on me twice, fire alarm woke me up 5am on Sunday morning for an incident 20 floors below my floor, and their windows are dirty and allow a lot of noise in from outside.

Overall, it wasnt a great experience and i wouldnt care to repeat it.

Updated with new furnishings and decor, stay was nice enough. Room was small with an air conditioner in my face all night right next to the bed. At this price level, there are better options Downtown.

Clean, modern rooms with a lot of natural light, as well as the common amenities such as hairdryer, iron, mini fridge, flat screen etc. Exceptionally comfortable beds and great use of space even in the smaller rooms. Great location, with a pool and restaurant located on site. Parking is available for a downtown Toronto premium.

I have visited twice, two years apart and this hotel has consistently met and surpassed my standards for hotels on every aspect, especially the staff.

Highly recommend and will be returning.

Nice rooms. Breakfast was buffet. Super. Staff very accommodating. Have the hotel also excursion pack booked. But it was really cheap. Just ask.

Staff was friendly and helpful. My stay was very comfortable. The elevators here are so quite that I waited for for while it was open at the end of the hallway waiting for me.

A lot of trouble checking in as my family arrived before I did, and the Staff did not want to check them in before I arrived, a good 4 hours later. Despite having the reservation listing family and being in both my wife's name in addition to my own, it took considerable escalating to the hotel manager before checking could be completed.

Hotel is a bit older and run down, with loose fittings on the drawers and cabinets in the room.

Pool is adequate and a decent sauna, but no hot tub.

Nice hotel, rooms were clean and actually quite quiet. Very close to everything you need and want to see.

Attended training at this Hotel. The conference rooms were clean, well kept and there was ample catered food provided throughout the day. The staff were professional and did not intrude on the training.

The lobby is small however there is plenty of ample seating around. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant that is open early in the morning. The also have a small convenience shop on premise in case you need snacks, Cold medication or personal hygiene items.

Free wifi internet is available throughout this hotel at a speed of 11Mbps up and down.

I was there visiting Ken who is from Sudbury and was in Toronto for a Summit that just happened to also be taking place at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel on Chestnut Street in downtown Toronto. So because I didn't actually stay there I can't really read it but it was a really nice looking place. *hugs* JACK

It's a lovely hotel located in the heart of downtown close to several amazing shops and restaurants. Probably the best feature is the free cookies given in the lobby.

Great staff! Excellent food! Recently updated rooms. Close to work. Sadly no hot tub... otherwise a good choice for downtown TO.

Overall, a pleasant stay - fantastic location and friendly staff. Sole points of improvement would be to clear the drains of the washroom sink and tub, as well as a slightly stuffy room temperature (which was easily mitigated).

This is my go to hotel in Toronto. Very central location and friendly staff.

There is no hot and even warm water after midnight which is really interesting for a 4 stars hotel. Also costumer service and elevator system was terrible

Wonderful stay. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the restaurant. I liked the business center and snack shop.

The rooms were alright, and the one we stayed in had a nice view. When you check in they hand out warm chocolate chip cookies, so of course the service is great. It's the little things.

My wife and I recently stayed here and we enjoyed the accommodations. The rooms were reasonably priced with the government/military rate, clean and the staff was very friendly. The parking garage goes underground so if you drive anything larger than a standard SUV, don't even attempt to enter the garage, use the outside public parking. What is nice about this hotel besides the things I just mentioned is that it's within walking distance of many major attractions including the Air Canada Centre. We would stay here if we visited Toronto again.

I've stayed here dozens of times, and I'm very satisfied every time. The rooms are well kept and the location is fantastic.
