Amazing resort. Staff are the friendliest of any resort I have been to. Everything is kept immaculately clean and standards very high. Nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend

Beautiful luxury location. Enjoyed the traditional Greek BBQ dinner on the beach - incredible food and service!!

Luxury resort built on two sides of a small hill. At the base of one side of the hill is the lobby area, two restaurants, a pool, several bars and the fitness area. Suites and villas are on the slope of the hill. A helipad is at the top. At the base of the other side of the hill is a much larger pool, another restaurant, tennis courts and a large children s play area. Porters in a fleet of golf carts shuttle guests around the property. I was upgraded to a split-level, 2-bedroom, 2-1/2 bathroom villa with LR, DR, K, balcony, outdoor private pool and indoor pool. Extraordinary. Only complaint is that the Master Bathroom, which is quite large, has a cruise ship size shower, plus the typical European tub/shower combination half enclosed by glass. There is plenty of room in the Mbath to replace the small separate shower with a larger one. Customer service is very high throughout the property. Food and wine options at the two a la carte restaurants, Yaosai and Blend, are excellent. Food at Blend was especially good. The buffet restaurant, Tholos, offers a very nice breakfast, but just an average dinner. The resort caters to families, so lots of children, but some of the restaurants feature selected adult-only hours, making it nice for couples as well. One hour drive from Heraklion, so not convenient for visiting Crete s largest city. But excellent choice if looking a gated property offering a quiet, luxury, seaside vacation with a private beach.

I really really recommend this hotel..everything is great. First of all the service is more like 7 stars.everything we asked for came true .the best I ever got..

Fantastic holiday, really amazing staff and location. Such a blessing to have a creche and a Kids Club, so exhausted parents can get a couple of hours to themselves if needed. All the restaurants do a kids menu, which is really handy.

Would recommend the Haute Living residences for a five-star experience.

Worth noting that you'll get a lot more out of it if your children are confident swimmers, as the only shallow pool is quite small and not heated.

Had an amazing stay. I travel a lot for work and pleasure and am a Marriott platinum member. They took great care of us - I'd definitely go back!

Excellent hotel unique facilities excellent staff that make your vacation unforgettable. I highly recommend it as an excellent hotel in Greece for unique ideal family vacations.

The location is excellent and the hotel has been designed so that its guests can enjoy the luxury ... in all areas. Really worth it.

We had a family holiday for 10 days and had an amazing time. The resort and accommodation are excellent. The restaurants are brilliant, even the buffet restaurant. The staff are fantastic especially with the children they make them feel really special

Fabulous Marriott Autograph resort. Excellent service, amenities, and beach. If you tire of the sounds of active children on the beach, you can retire to the adult-only pool.

First rate experience. Staff were outstanding -- professional and friendly. the room was comfortable and well appointed, the breakfast amazing--lot of great options. The beach area was clean and comfortable and private. The bottom line is that I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Very nice hotel, impeccable and caring staff.the beach is very beautiful.We were upgraded to this 5 * because our hotel did not open due to the covid. The bedroom is very spacious. Despite all this, we prefer our little hotel Elounda Blue (4 *). The customers are warmer there. It's more user-friendly. Super vacation anyway!

The location is beautiful and the staff is most friendly. This we enjoyed very much. The suits a large and once they've been nice - but now they need a renovation since a while. What we disliked most was the fact the the hotel emphasizes on families with children and as a result you have them everywhere which is disturbing especially at the restaurants where you feel like in a kindergarten.

One of the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Booked with Mariott points and everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff is awesome and the location's paradisiac.

Dont leave TIPS ! The managers take them all and they dont share them !

great marriott vacation property. the place is family oriented, if kids bother you then head over to Blue Palace. The heated pool was tepid at best, keep in mind if hoping to go swimming in the off-season. The bar had some fun cocktails but they could be much stronger for the price. staff was very friendly and accomodating.

I made a reservation through Booking. com at this Hotel with FREE CANCELLATION POLICY, they charged 50% of my reservation. When II decide to cancel the reservation THE MONEY HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED to me, and they intend to give me a voucher and if I do not use it in 18 months, after 18 months they will return my money.
They say that it is by a Greek law although it goes against European laws.

Not on the cheap side but worth every cent.

Everything was great from greetings and VIP check-in at the bar with a view of very famous Spinalonga island. The hotels provides only suites and villas. We stay at a family suite which can accomodate 4 people. Unfortunately we did not receive upgrade to a suite with a private pool, but ours was very great and have a Jacuzzi. Breakfast was great with s lot of option for food lovers. Try freddo espresso without sugar - it is an amazing drink during hot summer! The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel provides changing towels and room making up twice a day. No compliant on room service. There are 4 restaurants in the hotel. All food was great, but a little overpriced. The hotel has its own beach, some swimming pools filled with seawater.

We didn't stay there but I likely would have given it five stars. The grounds are terrific but quite hilly. luckily there are many golf carts around ready to give you a ride around the property. The pool is wonderful. The access to the beach is terrific as well. we had a an amazing meal at the restaurant at the beach. It was a unique spin on traditional Greek mezze.

Ok, this place is amazing. We have been to two Marriott properties in Greece before this one. Marriott Athens & Mykonos Theoxenia, both of which hardly recognized my "Titanium" membership. In fact Mykonos Theoxenia didn't even bring it up, I had too and no upgrade there. Here is it a different story. Not only were we greeted with conceirge style service the upgrade and extras provided as a Titanium member make me renewed in the Marriott brand...I was ready to give on on the new program since the SPG takeover. The suite and view is to die for and extras (free breakfast, one free dinner and spa facilities) all made it even better....and to top if off we arrived late so they brought us late night dinner, deserts and wine! Couldn't have been a better reception. I don't write too many reviews but just had to for this place.

Superb area, excellent staff, beautiful buffet, very nice beach and beautiful pools. Ideal for a relaxing stay.

We stayed at this resort hotel in October. Most people staying here either had young children, were pregnant, or were retired. Not many people in between. The people at the resort are great (especially the woman who checked us in and the female restaurant manager). The outside areas of the resort get really loud, which is too bad because it inhibited our wanting to spend time outside and enjoy the amazing view. No noise in the rooms though.

Felt like a Greek God. Paradise. Heaven on earth.

Our honeymoon trip had a rocky start after terrible flight delays. Upon our arrival, Michael, Nikos and Nikoletta welcomed us with open arms! Most unbelievable guest services, we have been treated like VIPs at one of the most beautiful resorts in the world. This is a must stay place. Thank you to everyone at Domes of Elounda!

I was amazed by the accommodation as well as the playroom which housed two HTC Vive VR Headsets featuring some exciting VR titles. The Rock concert made for a night full of enjoyment with a wide range of songs from different genres. The whole experience was simply astonishing!

A big thank you to Christos and his team always looking after us. Amazing hotel to come with family (we came with our 8 months daughter). They provided baby phone, blender, little presents along throughout our stay ! Beach area is unusual and amazing, lots of trees to rest in the shade, shallow waters and amazing view ! Terrific resort with nice beaches, high quality cleaning and service, and a family atmosphere. The hotel was fully booked yet it feels quiet and serene. There are not many people out and about in the restaurants and facilities in general, and they do close most facilities early. However the private pool and the views are terrific and make for a memorable and enjoyable family holiday.

Great hotel but very poor customer service. They contacted us to offer a discount package which turned out to be higher than the hotel's official booking website

This would be the best resort I have been in Greece, the rooms, views, food and staff. All of them together will make your stay here unforgettable.

You have to try the Tavern by the beach and book a table on the pier for dinner, you will feel like being in another world.

You can choose if you would like room with pool or Jacuzzi, after a day on the beach that sounds just amazing.

Food was great all over, and I just loved the main bar near the reception, the views there are breathtaking.

Phenomenal hotel located in Elounda in Crete. The hotel has amazing villas as rooms. Awesome service and great staff that took care of all the way. The SPA was great and it has a nice beach as well. Food was good and breakfast buffet was comprehensive. Great hotel to R&R

My husband and I had a beautiful stay at Domes of Elounda back in July 2017. The staff were friendly, the property was very beautiful and all of the food and wine were superb. I left feeling relaxed and happy.

Unfortunately, March 2018 I received an unexpected email from Maria Papathemeli, who does accounts for the resort. This is the first email...
"Dear Mrs Tesone,
I trust you are well. We have an issue with our accountant department regarding the payment of your extras consumptions. Sadly, we just realized that the amount of 1303 euros haven t been charged to your credit card and this amount is still open.
I know it passed almost one year and we are sorry for disturbing you, but I hope if you could assist us and give us a credit card to charge the amount.
Looking forward to your reply,"

I assumed this was a scam because 1.) What accounting department would send an email like this soliciting money with NO ITEMIZED INVOICE attached?!?
2.) who would just ask for your credit card information and expect a stranger to email them back with their credit card number?
3.)it came from an account associated with Ledra Hotels - I had no idea if they were associated with Domes of Elounda.

I ignored this for a bit thinking this has to be a phishing scam email. To my surprise a few weeks later I received another email saying the same thing. I booked this trip through Mr. and Mrs. Smith to ask if this was for real and they said it sure was. I told them that I needed to be given an actual itemized invoice for this so I know what this is for, and that I also that they need to send the option for a secure method of payment.

Maria - from the team's accounting department then sent a Paypal link that was broken along with an itemized invoice that sure - looked fine, but I have no idea what I ordered for room service almost 1 year after the trip.

I told them that since I had already paid for the trip in full and this is a huge billing mistake on their part they should really comp me if there are outstanding charges. It is so ridiculous to contact guests 9 months after the fact to ask for money. It's not only unprofessional but it has left a terrible taste in my mouth.

Too bad for the rest of the hardworking team at Domes of Elounda because their accounting department has left me regretting my stay with them and baffled by the extra 1303 Euros that I have no idea I owed until 9 months after!

One of a kind! the quality of the services characterizes it and categorized in one of the best resorts in Greece.

The complex is extensive, the usable pool and the sea are about 800 meters from each other. The stand is perfect! The e-cars could drive more often. The rooms are spacious, the staff very friendly. Buffets are currently abolished, the menus do not meet our expectations in this price segment. Overall, the Presis performance ratio does not currently fit.

Nice place and beach. We were here with our daughters 5y and 1y. They likes to be at the beach although its is not very large and there is not really fine sand. View is beautiful. Book a Room with sea view. We had half board but the Buffet was not 5 Star. Beach Restaurant for lunch very nice. Staff within the resort is very friendly .

Lovely hotel and resort in Crete with breathtaking views. Staff was very friendly, hotel was clean and child friendly.
We would have hoped it could have been a bit more child friendly by providing kids cups, plates and cutlery. To our toddlers credit he did an excellent job managing to drink out of a stemless wine glass.
I highly recommend visitors take their own sunscreen and bug spray. The prices at the shop on site are outrageous.
Overall a fabulous stay and wonderful memories made.

I felt like George Clooney. I have never stepped foot into a resort and have virtually every staff member staring at me and smiling. The hostess offered us drinks and took us out for the main view. It was quite beautiful. They offer a buffett dinner as well. It was very enjoyable with a nice variety. If you get the chance to experience this do not pass this up.

An exquisite luxury hotel with amazing views and restuarants. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel as if we were amongst friends. I will definately visit them again

We stayed in two different rooms here on our honeymoon. They gave us a free upgrade to the two bedroom villa with a private pool which was outstanding!!! but we gave it up for the view that we booked online.

Pros: Outstanding rooms, free valet parking, friendly and helpful hotel staff, great view of Spinalonga, comfortable beds, overall very clean (especially the two bedroom villa)
Cons: We were on our honeymoon and ended up in the family breakfast area. The jet tub in the sea view room shot out black particles. I don't believe we got the room that we booked, even after moving. We didn't say anything after the move though, so we can't fault them for that. They were very nice and professional.

Upon arrival, our car was valet parked, we were seated on a balcony with a sea view overlooking Spinalonga, and treated to a special welcome drink. The check in process was the most relaxing check-in ever! I wish we could have stayed here longer. I definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Just back from a fantastic stay at Domes of Elounda, a week was nowhere near long enough! This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in with regard to the level of customer service, the friendliness of the staff and the general atmosphere. The hotel itself was as expected for the standard/price point but was superbly maintained in all aspects (rooms/pools/beach etc). We had two young children with us and it was a great set up for them too, although possibly not as comprehensive as some other providers for this type of family holiday although that is not a criticism as we were aware of the limitations in advance. I would highly recommend Domes and will be back again soon!

Just got back from our second stay at Domes of Elounda and we found it equally as amazing as our first trip. The management have done really well dealing with COVID so we were still able to enjoy our stay there. Whilst the place is great the staff make the place. They are all super friendly and accommodating. What makes it even better is it s very close to Plaka which is a very picturesque village with great restaurants.

5 star service and a 5 star review. Amazing staff, great food and excellent facilities.

A great hotel which is slightly let down by inconsistent service.

Very nice resort, clean beach, variety of restaurants, pool for adults only, pool for small children and a big pool for everybody. Since the resort is located on hills there are buggies available 24/7. Good service. Very quite and welcoming. Very spacious, which gives a sense of privacy.

I would have visited it again - cozy, sunny place, helpful staff and good cuisine + great views

This is a wonderful resort. I could literally write a book on how incredible the stay is. Staff are amazing and friendly. It's a really nice place to just relax and enjoy the view. A downside is the terrain it is located on, you basically need a buggy ride to get anywhere but they are only a phone call away and very quick. My only disappointment was the food. The dining was expensive and none of it was impressive. Still highly recommend this resort if you ever visit the beautiful island of Crete.

We finished our Cretan family vacation at the Domes of Elounda and it was amazing! The property was full, but it never felt like it (save at the beach at midday). The greatest part was the hospitality of the staff which was both authentic and thorough. Our family suite with a jacuzzi was spacious and well equipped. The property itself was a good size and included a large beach, a water sports area, two pool area (one for adults only) and a CORE area that had great ambiance and different events throughout our stay. It was an excellent stay and I only wish we had stayed 7 nights instead of 5! P.S. The prices onsite were reasonable for a resort of this caliber.

Luxurious resort with phenomenal staff. Everybody was incredibly helpful and we could not have wished for more. We loved our private villa and will miss the trips on the golf carts around the resort. The beach area with the shade trees was one of our favorite places.

We had a two bedroom villa with a private pool. The room was full of beautiful marble, the bedroom large patio doors opened up to our own private oasis. The hotel has a private beach across the street where you can rent a boat to go snorkeling or you can go paddle boarding. The snorkeling here is incredible as the water is crystal clear.

Our concierge had heard that we were about to celebrate our anniversary. When returning home from dinner, that evening, we were surprise with flower peddles through-out our villa, a bottle of champagne, and a cake. The staff really knows how to create a memorable experience for their guests.
