A truly 5 star accommodation in the most beautiful hotel of Crete in the most magical location in nature and by the sea that ensures privacy or socializing depending on your choices, with fine dining and local cuisines, where luxury does not "scream", since she needs it, because it is self-evident and she completely wins all the credits thanks to the warm and cordial service, care and natural courtesy of her staff.
Spectacular suites for a fair price, kind people, weaknesses on the food side, eating in the grand dining room is like eating in the kindergarden, loud, weak service, mediocre quality, 3star not 5-star, cost optimizers at work ... go outside to explore cretan food. Plaka and Elounta offers a variety of nice restaurants with far better food. Breakfast in the Domes with Stefano one floor down from dining room gives you what you expect from a 5 star hotel.
Stunning hotel with fantastic views across the bay. Great restaurants, a lovely quiet adult swimming pool, excellent breakfast buffet and flawless service. Rooms are well appointed and we couldn't have asked for more during our stay. Highly recommended.
One of the most iconic Boutique Hotel in Crete. Service and staff is 5 stars and always there to help. The views on the bay are gorgeous. If you can afford it go for the superluxe villas on the top of the resort withe the views and private pools and seclusive luxury. Otherwise all rooms are welcoming with most having a balcony and outdoor Jacuzzi. Choices of restaurants on the beach, main lobby and new building. Watersport rental available on the beach resort and get a short private transfer from the beach to the Spinalonga island .
5 star hotel in Crete. Excellent service Reception at the entrance that includes transfer of the rented vehicle to the parking lot. The luggage in the car was already waiting in the room. For the average Israeli, the dining room is not at the level of a parallel Israeli hotel, and it is necessary to examine and clarify what is on the plate. There is always an omelet of tomatoes and cucumbers in the morning. In the evening you can get along with a day fish and a salad. Most of the culinary experience is foreign to us and includes unrecognized additions in most dishes. The seasoning is far from Mediterranean identity and is adapted to the anemic taste of the British or German tourist.
We stayed in the two bedroom villa which was amazing with very helpful attentive staff available all the time and very quick.
The pool in the villa was 28c (heated) but feels cold to swim but you get used to it, however the main pool was like a warm bath

Dinner - we just stuck to buffet as we had a 1-year-old and it made it super easy to find her food but as a person hating the thought of a "buffet" the food was very good and great choice plus half the food is vegetarian which I thought was good

We've traveled the world, and this might be the very best hotel we've ever stayed at - especially for families. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and I believe it's included for free with every room. Stay in the original section though. We were "upgraded" to the luxury villas halfway through our stay, and actually enjoyed the original room more, as the original section has more mature landscaping, better view of the sea, more individual character, and better location to parking and restaurant. Beach is more like a lake beach, and nowhere near as good as Florida/South Carolina beaches in the U.S., but that's not what we came to Crete for. Loved the coffee machines in the room too! Can't wait to come back next summer

Very poor services. Some staff are trained and some are very racist to non European guests even if they book the highest villas. Would not recommend. The night service team is rude and insulting. Feel like second class guests. Some of the staff seem to care while others offer only two keys for a family of 10 in the villa. The night male staff are extremely arrogant. Unfortunately all the five star reviews are from White folks and it seems Asian or colour reviews don t exist here. Even during lunch one day for a white couple two tables were
Combined but when we requested it they refused. When we pointed out it was done for others and complained they then said okay we have some time to help . Do you not realise that we are your guests and we have paid for excellent services? Added to that we haven t taken your lowest package rooms - we paid for the highest. Seems it doesn t matter eventually non whites are non whites or so it makes me feel even if it may not be the case. the villas are clean and nice. Italian Restaurant services are better - though they get confused when you order too many things , but they do care about guests. The same is unfortunately not the case at reception and the maiming dining hall. Very different service experiences across the resort (as they call themselves). Villa itself is maintained very well. Property is large and beach is excellent. But again at service levels There also we had issues finding seating together and through repeated requests they helped accommodate finally. On the positive, large property and lovely visual sights. Day three main restaurant team were very friendly and supportive. But good quality was poor when asked to make or prepare by chef. Club cars serve European guests waiting after us rather than first come first serve. Some of us were asked to wait for another club car even though we were waiting first in queue. Excuses include checkout time and only two drivers available etc etc. the number of excuses were so many instead of owning up it seemed they wanted to show Mariott under staffs or sort of find excuses for service issues. Sometimes they delay up to 20 minutes and say that they are understaffed or have heavy load or have checkouts or something or another. We were given a dedicated manager to call but seems that is sometimes not reachable too. Randomised service and lack of coordination and partiality with guests of colour is very very apparent here . I had considered removing my comments one racism but that after day event after event it shows that there is a cultural issue of Racism dominant within the resort and it s management. Something that will spoil its high star reputation which seems also to show very very few colored people or reviews. Not good when Greece is part of a friendly European Union. I believe this is concentrated at the resort alone but it s worth taking care of. Bad press could follow. Surprised no response from the location as well. I would have expected a brand such as themselves to want to discuss and sort things out or do they truly not care anymore.

Exclusive luxury resort opposite the Spinalonga Island. We hired Private 3 bedroom residence for 6 days. The villa was exclusive with its own pretty large pool. The service throughout the resort was excellent.
The resort has 4 restaurants as well as several bars.
Luxury, but a bit of a contrived atmosphere - and expensive bar! TIP: Buy water from nearby village Plaka, as bottled water v.expensive. The whale and Gregorian chanting on loop is rather repetitive if not a little mind bending - and really not required considering the situation /views / sunshine that makes you relax anyway. Food plentiful and excellent. Staff excellent.

Great accommodation with very attentive staff and nice facilities. We've been staying for our honeymoon and enjoyed everything so far with staff on demand to support, even to drive you to and from your room in a golf cart if you don't fancy the walk! You Have access to your own private beach and our room had a hot tub which is great.
A wonderful week with our two young kids. It s so nice to find a resort that is so comfortable and luxurious whilst also being so accepting of small children and everything that comes with them! This is our third stay at Domes of Elounda and we will definitely be back. The food is superb and the staff are all, without exception, incredibly friendly and helpful. See you next year!

Very nice resort. Villas are very big, nice and clean. Position is fantastic, just in frint of Spinalonga island and its fortress. Fantastic views.
Food at the buffet restaurant is very good, with good variety day after day.
We had the most wonderful six night stay at the Domes of Elounda. Our villa was perfect with the most spectacular views. The staff was exceptional and seemed to really care about making you feel comfortable. We loved the Italian restaurant on the property. The beach was also wonderful. We have stayed at world class resorts/hotels in many countries and this one didn't disappoint. We will definitely be returning.
