We contacted DM Design for a quote to replace the bathroom at a property we rent out in Stirling. They just finished it on Thursday and our tenants absolutely love it! I think we may need to get them to install the same shower in our home as I have never seen anything like it. Amazing and will use again for another apartment I rent out.

The other 10% was equally uncomfortable as he tried to make the sale. He even sat us down for a moment as if we were 5 year olds who had disobeyed our power tripping parent.
Do not agree to a measure up with this company - they will spend roughly 5 minutes measuring before manipulating you into trying to sign.

More than delighted with the workmen who fitted our new kitchen. They were friendly, efficient, polite and helpful, resolving a couple of small issues that cropped up. Clean and tidy when job was finished. Would definitely recommend, and wouldn't hesitate in using them again.
I am sure that I will be like many satisfied customers in as much as I would not normally write reviews but I am making an exception here, primarily to ensure that prospective customers can obtain a balanced view when reading reviews. DM Design, I emphasise the name as there is another company with a very similar name, provided a first class service when they recently installed our new kitchen. The company has been trading for over 35 years and it was interesting to note that the contacts we had were nearly all long serving employees. This in itself should provide a degree of comfort to prospective purchasers. Based on our experience I have no hesitation in recommending DM Design.

had a visit by a salesman after a cold call saying my husband had filled a survey in. we were expecting a 1 hour visit but it was 5 hours! despite trying to get him to move on he just kept talking about meaningless rubbish. we liked the quality if the cabinet but no inventiveness or discussion about what I wanted. small kitchen but the price was 22k.he reduced it to 10k but we would still need to buy oven and hob. when we said it was more than expected and needed to think about it he became pushy and when we said no he became rude.
telling us that we might as well go get an Ikea kitchen as we clearly didn't appreciate quality, or to my we may need to save a bit more. no you won't. I've had rude pushy salesmen before but nothing like this and he wasted most of our Saturday. he came at 10sm and didn't start to measure up till 2pm.

Chose worktop,doors,hob, oven and hood from the salesman catalogue payed price in full (stupid of me) for the job, the oven they fitted was not the one I chose,and the timer on it did not work,when I phoned them my complaint I was fobbed of to other companies , they did not reply to my calls,said they would get back to me,never did ..trade description act here l come.

When I decided to buy a kitchen from DM design I was super excited. Everything I wanted I could get but it soon turned to stress and delay after delay.
The tiler left the electrical sockets hanging off the wall which took 2 days to come and fix. An gas oven was fitted which doesn't work. Still waiting for it to be fixed 2 1/2 weeks later. The customer service is a big fat 0. They don't care that they're keeping you waiting, fobbing you off and leaving you without a way to cook with 2 small children in the house. Utterly disgraceful that they're not even sorry and no compensation to accomadate the amount of time I've waited and extra money I've had to spend to be able to actually eat.
I have a kitchen which isn't fit for purpose. Trading standards have been spoken to do and will be contacted again if it isn't resolved this week.
There will be NO RECOMMENDATION from me.
We absolutely love our new kitchen...the quality and design is outstanding ...the workmen couldn't do enough, nothing was a bother and it was COMPLETELY fitted all in two days even though we changed some door sizes at the last minute...they simply made new doors that day, brilliant service
Sold on lies and false promises.
The surveyor then came out, during which time we were told we were only booked in for 2 days. We questioned why other companies say it takes several weeks for a kitchen, he responded by informing us that the worksurfaces etc are cut inhouse and that's why it can be done.
A week later I phoned up to confirm flooring and handles, at which time I found out that only the kitchen carcas would be fitted during the two day fitting. A total contrast to what was sold to us. I spoke to two staff members who also called themselves managers (everyone seems to be a manager), both of which were unhelpful, non understanding and expected us to live in a shell of a kitchen over the Xmas period, totally unacceptable with two young children, especially when it was sold as being complete within 5 days.
I cancelled the kitchen and quickly received a call from a further manager who wished to 'rectify the problem', interested in what was to be said a meeting was arranged for them to come to our house. Imagine our surprise when no-one arrived, I contacted DM Kitchens, spoke to a further manager who was short and horrible to speak to.
A further call from another manager, who this time tried to arrange a rescuse meeting, by this time things had gone too far and there would be no chance of us using this terrible company, she at least had the decensy to appologise on the way the way we had been treated but again, things had gone too far.

My partner and I were in the market for a new kitchen after moving into our new house. We got DM design out to do a quote and agreed our design and what we wanted in the kitchen. The level of service has been truly brilliant from start to finish as we made changes that were accommodated even at short notice.
Our new kitchen is amazing, I get so many comments on how good it is and would definitely reccommend DM design to anyone who is looking for a top quality kitchen. Next step is our loft conversion bedroom and we ll be calling DM design back out for that too, cannot speak highly enough of the team and the service we have had from them.
I now only want to communicate with the managing director of this company.
Previous reviews follow a depressing pattern of hugely over quoting for a basic kitchen, which I naturally rejected, to be followed by a special "deal" at a price of a quarter of the original.
I should have been aware then, but we went ahead and ordered a silver gloss kitchen four years ago.
While initially pleased with the kitchen, the last year has seen firstly a problem with the fridge freezer doors delaminating.
These were replaced six months ago.
Then, earlier this year the same problem became apparent with another 17 doors and drawers - all of them!
Pictures were sent to Stuart who said that the guarantee would cover them.
However, a call out charge and fitting charge would be applied.
I am not happy with this.
If you want you can invoice me for this and I will show this and the pics to the Trading Standards Office.
This kitchen was not fit for purpose and to demand payment for fixing it is outrageous.
I await your comments.
First class service, really chuffed with the results from this company
From the moment I walked into the showroom to when the finishing touches were made to my kitchen the experience has been amazing. We were given marvellous design advice from Gary, in fact the entire team were extraordinary, a big shout out for the install team Teebor, Des and Danny who worked tirelessly, were always friendly, professional and insisted everyday on thoroughly cleaning up after themselves.
The office staff were fabulous too, Ben and Stewart always following up, to make sure I was 100% happy with everything.
I can t thank you guys enough, I love love love everything you did to modernise the ground floor of my house from the new kitchen, bathroom and lounge, doors, facings and heated floors!
If I could give more stars I would without hesitation!

I had all three of my bedrooms done and what a difference it has made. Finally have somewhere to put all my clothes and more importantly the kids toys. Was a bit reluctant after I made the appointment for them to come and look at both my bathroom and kitchen. I should have trusted my instincts! They were in my house for ages and after I finally got the man out I kept getting called continuously from call centres. Night and day experience compared to the company that eventually installed my kitchen and bathroom.

Job ref 30297 - I have to admit, I had read a 'few' disappointing reviews for DM Design... However, we decided to 'go with them' - after we designed our kitchen, and liked the fitments that we chose - The price was a little bit more than what we had budgeted for - BUT - I honestly have to say...we are really happy with the kitchen fitments and the workmanship that has been carried out.From the plumber, electrician and the plasterer and to the fitters - Peter and Laslo (forgive me if the name is spelt wrong) - have all done a fantastic job and they worked non stop when here and are a credit to DM Design! - we had a few 'niggles' that required a return visit... but every thing is all good now! All I need is to get the room painted and then we are complete - Thank you - for putting up with me too! -
Recently had a new kitchen installed by DM Design and have to say that we are over the moon with the finished product. The high gloss finish on the doors looks brill and has been fitted to a very high standard. Great service all round from the initial design right the way through to the finished article.
The level of service has been top notch and nothing was too much trouble for the team, even though I had made some last minute changes to the splash backs and tap fitting.

I absolutely adore my new bathroom. Had a bit of an issue with the communication from the installation team but Andrea from customer services swooped in to save the day.
The fitter Jannick was extremely professional, efficient and tidied up after himself too. The bathroom is as designed but looks so much better than a drawing could show.

Absolutely appalling company. Avoid at all costs!! They promise you the world but as soon as they have your money they couldn't care less. New kitchen a shambles right from the start. They don't show up when they say they will (sometimes they'll let you know but sometimes they won't bother). Shoddy workmanship which they don't want to fix and refuse to refund any money. Also dangerous - I was left with a gas leak which they couldn't care less about. Very difficult to get in touch with anyone and the managers just refuse to talk to you. I was told it would take 2 days to fit the kitchen - 7 weeks later it's still not done and I'm not sure it ever will be.

Bedroom furniture fitted in our new house, the last one was built in but extremely out dated and falling apart. DM Design sent a chap called Gary to survey the work and give us ideas on the best way forward, we got the design drawn up and went ahead. Fitters were amazing, really can t believe the results after only one and a half days, the room is transformed and looks amazing, would use again and recommend to anyone looking to get work done. Top job guys, one happy couple here!

Have used DM Design for our own kitchen, bedroom and also our daughters kitchen. They are not the cheapest but the level of service offered with custom Granite worktops delivered and fitted within two weeks of the installation was superb.
There seems to be some negativity but working in the service industry myself I understand that unfortunately not everyone will be 100% happy all of the time.
The main thing that impressed me most was that the head office staff dealing with the small problems that arose quickly and efficiently.
Will certainly look to use again in the future!
Had our kitchen fitted a couple of months ago. Loved what we chose and even the advice we got in how we should get ready for our kitchen getting put in with our new flooring which worked out brilliant. Our designer kept in touch with us every step and just called again to come round and take pictures since it's so fab! Thanks to everyone - we love it!
I arranged an appointment to get a rough quote for my new kitchen and I received a call from one of your sales representatives to confirm the appointment.
She asked if my partner would be home for the appointment, I told him that unfortunately she's currently working abroad but that she's more than happy for me to speak to the kitchen sales person alone.
She immediately tried to re-arrange the appointment stating that she would need to be in the property and they wouldn't want to sell a kitchen to us unless the woman of the house was present.
When I tried to reassure the sales rep that I only wanted a quote to find out how much you would contribute by recycling my old kitchen, she became argumentative and irritable. She insisted that I re-book the appointment to January/February, even though I told her that I wanted the kitchen complete by Christmas as me and my partner were doing our best to renovate the house whilst she was working away.
My experience with DM Design was (and has, since they have been in contact multiple times trying to push me into taking this review down) has been very unpleasant. I have found the staff to be very, unprofessional, unhelpful, argumentative and arrogant.
I've seen plenty of reviews that echo my experience, and even worse, actual customers who gave DM Designs their hard earned money. I would avoid at all costs.
Just moved into our first flat and with it being a new build the bedrooms were a bit small and lacking in storage. DM design came out and made suggestions on how we could maximise our space. The workmanship was so great that we decided to get our kitchen done too. So happy with the final product that we are now saving up to do the bathrooms too. Would definitely recommend.
I can't fault the quality of the kitchen or the fitting service we have received. I think the sales/design service lacks some what though. I had responded to a Facebook post looking for show homes and received a call. The salesman/designer that came out and steered away from the whole before and after thing, however then told us we were receiving a heavy discount to sign up on the day, which in hindsight we were very niave to do. We have never been spoken to again since about this even though our kitchen is now completed. Having said that I really like the kitchen and any snagging that we had was dealt with quickly by the operations manager which I really appreciated. I am still unsure whither I would recommend DM Design as the fitters we had were great and I am pleased with the finished product but I still have a feeling of being ripped off just by the sales process which is unfortunate.
Colin is writing this review, well started great Ron came out to see us for design very nice bloke everthing went well decided to go for new bathroom ,then the surveyer came out to check all okay he then contacted the instalation team they gave us a date which was fine with us ,I work nightshift so i stayed up on the day they were to start my wife also took a days holiday to be here for the start of job,on the day no one appeared house phone rang answered it ,it was a man called Ian he informed us they did not have a team available it would be a week before they could start,not acceptable for me so after a few heated phone conversations they managed to get a team together to start tuesday,tuesday came yes ateam came well one man came called laszlo this guy done the whole job on his own,cant fault his workmenship,job finnished friday the the problems really started,not 24 hours had passed when the shower stop working so phoned dm and spoke to Ian his answer was its not there problem its the shower company,they contacted shower company we were told it will be another week before they cane come out to look at it, another few heated phone conversations between myself Ian and Ben did not resolve the problem of not having a working showerso we spent a lot of money for this job and very dissatisfied with after care from dm design ,I certainly would be very weary to use this company ever again ,would not reccomendthem ,I cant understand how a company this size can treat customers this way ,the sales and fitting side were good but after that they have your moneythey dont want to know about it

I had a kitchen fitted by this company. There are chips in the worktops they were ment to be hard wearing. The seels have come away. The service received with the complaint have been shocking. No reply to any of the phone calls made. Rubbish company.

My Partner was cold called by DM Designs offering us a discount on a new kitchen. After the way we were treated by their salesman, we would not buy a kitchen from them at any price.
The salesman dismissed our ideas about what we wanted to do with the kitchen out of hand and seemed incredulous when we told him that we wanted such things as a double oven and a dishwasher.
I was taking notes on a notepad while he was there and he kept telling me not to and while he was showing us their range of selections kept mocking us for not being 100% sure what we wanted.
He spent far too much time being overly familiar with us and when we asked him to give us a quote for the kitchen he kept stalling. After we told him that we were not going to commit to anything there and then he immediately turned cold and dismissive. As he was leaving he asked me "who were we really going to buy a kitchen from?" I told him that we would keep the price he had quoted us in mind, to which he replied "no you won't" - I certainly won't be after being spoken to like that.
The whole point of this was to sell us a kitchen - How do they expect to sell anything if their salespeople are so rude?
My Partner had a follow up call from them today. She described the poor experience we had with their salesman and then was asked what prices we were quoted. After being told the prices (one of which we were told was a cut to the bone price that we could only take then and there by their salesman) my partner was immediately told by the woman on the phone that they could give us a better offer than the "lowest, must agree on the spot" price. We turned it down as we want no further dealings with this company.
Friendly professional nothing a problem. installers Alan and Duncan helped us threw the whole process of getting our new kitchen fitted. My completed kitchen has more than exceeded our expectation and from having some concerns in regards to using dm design I would have no issues in recommending the company. I am sure that this kitchen will exceed the 16 years previously installed kitchen from dm design

Beautiful kitchen, friendly staff from start to finish, from John who came and planned the kitchen with us, through Peter and Lazlo who worked so hard fitting it, through to Andy calling to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. One small snag was easily and professionally dealt with, with no quibble. Excellent firm, using quality materials.
I have used DM Design for my kitchen bedroom and now my bathroom. I couldn t be happier with the service. The designers came up with ideas I wouldn t even have considered. The fitters were grafters arriving on time and only stopping for the occasional cuppa. Even when I had a couple of issues that needed fixed Stuart from the customer service department was polite friendly and efficient. I have recommended this company to people and would do again.

Absolutely professional from start to finish, and surprised on how quick it was completed
Agreed to a salesman to visit our home after chatting with their display team at the home show at the SECC. Did explain that I wasn't ready just yet for a new kitchen as I needed to have my boiler moved first. He explained that this wasn't a hassle as the quote will still be valid (within a reasonable time frame) The guy came as agreed at 7pm. First thing my wife and I did, was explain the situation with the boiler and he also said.."no problem"
So..on with the sales pitch. Showed us a couple of brochures for us to start thinking what colour doors we would like, we chose cappuccino gloss but he didn't have a sample of that colour so showed us a gloss black and cream. My wife explained what she wanted from a new kitchen which was based around floor to ceiling units with built in appliances
At this point he went into the kitchen to measure up and give us 1 option of what would work? No alternatives?
Drew a sketch and showed us the layout which was quite good. Then next brochure was worktops but again no real conviction/advice of what would work with the colour
He then made a call to someone to ask how much discount we were eligible to? and he explained to the man on the phone that we live in a cul de sac, 20 odd houses and the people opposite us have solar panels (which he did mention he should drop a flyer through their letterbox?) I recall a quote of a a- discount (whatever that means?)
We asked if it was possible to see the layout in 3d rather than paper but was told that only happens once you sign on the dotted line?
Next came his little made up cupboard where we got to play with a soft closing drawer and door. Even told me the hinges were galvanized....OOOOOPS (i'm a Quality Manager...in a galvanizing plant and these hinges are not galvanized)
Next came how to pay..even though we hadn't even been asked how we planned to fund the project or what kind of budget we had in mind (as you will see later in the review, this could have saved the salesman a lot of time!)
We were also advised (BY A SALESMAN?) to buy our own appliances...including the sink, so this quote was basically going to be for the carcasses (12 in all) to be delivered and fitted within a day (which i explained didn't impress me as I want it right...not rushed)
He worked the financing part using 15k as an example, still no mention of what we were to be quoted?
Then proceeded to show us a b&q quote claiming they charge 5k for install which in his opinion is excessive (locked that bit in my head for later!!!!!)
Then the bomb was dropped, we were told if we signed there and then we would get a discount and a show home (using pics of before and after) discount.
Told him I wouldn't be signing tonight without a visit to the showroom to see and feel the doors etc in my hand and without discussing the quote in detail with my wife. He said that he had been explaining the quote as we went along, so I explained that no, we need to talk behind your back first.
Oh right...the bomb I earlier mention...now bear in mind that we were to but all appliances ourselves and this is the price for carcasses and fitting...ARE YOU READY...

God loves a trier eh, I explained to him that my wife would show him out, I left the room so I could laugh/cry/scream/shout/horse him out...not sure in which order I wanted to do it,so I left the room.
Obviously got calls from customer services and a Director over the coming days apologizing for this and they would make a revised offer as an apology? Customer services did sound a lovely woman so I am not going to berate her in any way , but even a revised offer of say 15k is not half price as the original price was mental in the first place so how will I ever know what the true cost should have been versus the apologetic offer? ALL TRUST IN THE COMPANY NOW TOTALLY EVAPORATED.
there are delighted customers otherwise they wouldn't still be in business, don't feel pressured into signing and get a couple of quotes before committing to purchasing. Is DM Design going to build my new kitchen???

If I could post no stars I would. My mother had a kitchen fitted by them a few weeks ago and it is very badly designed with holes in the walls. I have called and emailed them every day to get them to come out and rectify the mistakes. No answer. 100% they have taken advantage of an elderly and vunerable lady whose husband was too ill to help. Utterly disgusted by them and their total lack of response. AVOID
Happy with the kitchen and bathroom they put in for us. A few issues but all were dealt with. Really happy with their aftercare.

My parents bought a kitchen 12 years ago and have had an issue with a few hinges and doors coming lose in their kitchen. My dad is unfortunately in a wheel chair now and uses the doors to help. I explained the situation and was looking to purchase hinges. To my surprise Jake at DM Design noticed that my parents were repeat customers and after speaking to his manager sent someone the next day with hinge plates and even replaced the worst door. Very refreshing in this day and age for a company to go above and beyond in customer service. I will certainly give DM design a call when I need some work done.

What a wonderful job from start to finish! The electrician, fitters, plasterer were so dedicated and helpful. Cannot recommend them highly enough. The guys went over and above for us and we are so grateful. Thanks guys

I had a small problem with kitchen cabinet doors. DM called and asked me to go to their showroom and they would sort it. I arrived during a 60th birthday bash and was invited to join in and offered cake. I spoke to Stuart and quite possibly the owner who bent over backwards to help me. Best customer service I have ever experienced although I never got a spin in the boss's Porsche. I would recommend DM to anyone.
We had our kitchen fitted almost four years ago and were (and are) delighted with the result. I have had cause to call them twice in that time, once for a broken hinge (which was my fault) and today with a problem with a door. Each time I called the company were great, they sent me out two new hinges and offered to come out and fit them. Today I spoke to Stuart regarding the door which he has told me he will order a new one and let me know when its ready. No quibble no excuses great service and thanks again.

I would never recommend this company to any one already had to have splashback board replaced in my bathroom that they fitted. The 1 star is for them replacing it . Now the bath panel has started to split at the top and bottom and so when they approached us to say they only use the best of product why after only 3 years and only 2 of us in the house has this happened other than it being cheaply made materials?
We never had a visit after the bathroom was fitted to check the workmanship as if we had I would have pointed out a list of concerns . Of course they will come back and say why were these issues not reported at the time but My question would be why are works not surveyed afterwards so they can see for themselves the shoddy workmanship and deal with these issues without customers having to use there precious time chasing for answers .
We have used DM Design for a Kitchen and Bedroom now. Really happy with both. We did have a few doors peel around our oven, toaster and dishwasher. These were not made by DM Design due to the door design chosen but after 7 years they have returned to replace them all with doors from their factory.
I dont think it should have happened but it was the doors near moisture and heat that were affected and FIRA did advise this was the case.
Overall really happy as we have had a newly refaced kitchen 8 years later which I feel is genuinely excellent and will recommend to all our family!!
