DishOne Satellite Review

DishOne is an outstanding company, everything that they said would happen has happened. One of their sales reps has saved my family and I hundreds of dollars. I would refer them to anyone who is having issues with their cable or internet bill going up on them. I have had an overall fantastic experience with this company, surprisingly they have honest sales reps working for them. Like I said, everything that they said would happen, has happened.

Absolutely horrible. My mother has been fighting cancer and knowingly signed up with dish services, the agent had said to her that she could get out of the contract at any time without a penalty due to her situation. Now that we have moved her to my brothers home and she has been placed on hospice (because she is terminally ill), they are not witholding their end of the bargain. I sent them a copy of the paperwork that in plain letterhead from the hospital states that she has been placed on hospice care. They want MORE proof, a letter written and signed by her doctor with hospital lettehead. Absolutely ridiculous, do not do business with these people by all means!

What a joke! This place has the most unprofessional people working for them. I had an encounter with one of their employees who claims to be a regional manger named Timothy Padilla. BEWARE!!!! He was a complete liar. Everything that spewed from his mouth was a lie. He ended up in a confrontation with my husband that was completely unwarranted. He called him many names and cursed like they were the only words his ignorant self knew. He tried very hard at instigating my husband to hit him. My husband laughed and walked away. (The guy wanted to be able to sue and that was very obvious) This made him more mad. Again BEWARE! He has a temper and should not be in the field and more son not be able to enter people's homes! AND of course not training people! He stole money from me and is a horrible person and a horrible representative of the company. But then again if they hire people like that then it can't say much for the company. ZERO stars for this guy! Stay AWAY!

SalesRep come in and speed talk you into his lie ! Cheaper tv ( true ) all thru Spectrum (lie ) Spectrum is not bundled withDish One ! Your statement will come 15 days before due and due in 30 days ( lie ) statement came 9 days and due in 15 days , Internet from Spectrum since we aren't bundled with Spectrum now Internet will be 69.99 , instead of reps quoted price of 39.99 ,another lie ! Installer will give TV guide ( lie ) have to call company , rep said he will take. Care of all problems if you have any , hasn't taken care of anything yet ! Talks on cell phone a lot but you never hear person on other end when it's a problem , You can hear office girl when he talks to her but not when he says he's talking to his manager to get Spectrum on track ( he says ) don't get
Stuck review all options before handing over card , no paper work so when you find him and talk to him he doesn't even know what he told you just a fast talker and words that means nothing ! If he says he will be back the afternoon after 3 pm or next day don't believe him never comes back unless you track him down at a neighbors, I would not recommend getting DishOne from a sales rep ! It seems they go for older residence and are not honest on any thing they promise ! So sad and disappointed in them ! Don't talk to them, bid the farewell and go on your home , sweet fast talkers

You just came to my house in goshen with the fenced in yard with the dog warning. My husband previously told you that we have a dog that bites and yet you came back later and disregarded our warning and signs all in the name of a sale. I send this text hoping in the future you will be more respectful. The beware of dog signs are there for your safety. Regardless of your good rapport with dogs I advise you in the future to respect the home owner and to heed with caution.

Thanks, but no thanks, I've been doing this job for 7 years if I took heed to every beware of dog and no soliciting sign I would never make money, but I wouldn't tell you how to do your job and I really don't appreciate being told how to do mine, but thank you for worrying for my safety it means a lot. In all seriousness if you have a dog that bites people you should have your gate locked, because if I was bitten, I would have every right to sue you, and then that sweet old pup would have to be put down

I advise you to avoid this company. Sad times for me and my family were made worse by thier workers in Phoenix.

I was once a customer with Dish Network was was very displeased with their service back then. they charged me for a box that I had returned wit the threat of sending me to collections. I have been perfectly happy with various other service providers since them but was recently deceived by one of their sales representatives again. He was very pushy and condescending and lied to me with some pretty serious lies to convince me to possibly sign up for services I repeatedly told him I was absolutely not interested in. He pushed and pushed and pushed to get me to agree to at least be pre approved with no obligation to sign up for anything but to lock me into a special price incase I changed my mind. I explained several times that I did NOT want to have my credit run at all so no. He promised me over and over that it would not be run and would not effect my credit report or score. 3 times he promised this in fact. So in order to get him to leave me alone and let me close my door I agreed. The following Monday I was notified by my credit alert company that I had not only 1 but 2 inquiries hit my credit report from Dish Network and ding my credit score. I explained to this Sales Rep named JAcob Reed, many times how anal I was about my credit. He clearly doesn't care about his customers or potential customers at all that he would intentionally harm their credit and lie about it just to make a commision. I am furious! Everyone should be ware of Dish network if their door to door representatives are allowed such deceitful tactics to get service contracts. Shame!

I graduated from the university of Wyoming to be a teacher. I decided dish one was going to be my career path after giving me huge opportunity during my summers in college. I have nothing but great to say for this company. I have grown as a person every single day and we are all growing together. Dish one has given me the confidence and skill sets to do anything I want in life. I truly feel like I have a family at dish one that would do anything for me. I would recommend this experience to anyone and I guarantee if you go all in your life will be changed for the better. I've been here 5 years and am looking forward to the next 5 years.

DishOne is filled with genuine good people from the upper management to the customer service representives this company has the best people that truly love others. Love the D1 nation!

Had a guy knock on my door with a no solicitation sign, I ignored it cause I could see he was selling. 30 minutes later I ho to leave my house asnd he is standing in my driveway. When I asked to see a permit he got super aggressive. Alkso not sure why the he'll they are in Rio Rancho selling when everything I can find is Utah or Nevada.

Been working for DishOne for over 6 years now. There's no better place out there. Great culture and environment. Awesome leadership. Full of opportunity.

We went to the Sahba home show October 5 and was hoping to find a TV provider. Big red banners proclaimed a large booth was DISH TV. I talked to a Justin Gutierrez whose card named him "Senior Sales Manager". I told him I had talked with a couple of third-party contractors in town and they didn't seem to be able to offer what he was saying. He replied that was because he worked directly for DISH TV and he was able to waive fees and make offers they couldn't. He also said that it would be DISH TV installers and not 3rd party contractors which was better because they weren't working on comission and would not leave until everything was right instead of rushing through the job to the next one. (Lie #1) One of the reasons I had been interested in DISH was that it looked like they offered service for RVs for just $7 a month. He said yes, and that they would provide a basic receiver (not DVR) and dish (on a tripod) that had to be hand manipulated to pick up satellites and installation for free. (Lie #2). He said we should sign up for home and after installation call him and he would arrange for the RV installation (and internet with a separate company). So we chose our package and got installation set up for the very next day. Installation went without a hitch, but we soon discovered that it was a different 3rd party provider that installed the satellite.That same day I called J.Gutierrez at what seemed to be a private cell phone. He answered and said he was still at the home show but would arrange the RV installation and internet after the day's show. Middle of the next week, I called him again and said no one had contacted me about installation.He said he'd call the office again, but you call the internet provider. Needless to say no calls came. I was willing to abandon the internet and arrange it myself as there were no real bundles or savings involved. But the RV thing was important to me. After a few days I called again several times, but the phone number was no longer answering calls, not even rolling them over to voice mail. So I called an 877-207-3474 from my emailed contract (which came from the email address customerservice@dish2d.c ) which was when I discovered I was not dealing with DISH TV, but a 3rd party contractor called DISH One Satellite. I talked to a Bradley there, and told him I had been unable to reach Justin Gutierrez and the phone number seemed to longer be good. He wanted me to call DISH TV directly 877-768-3447. I said "what about Justin Guitierrez who was supposed to be one of his "Senior Sales Manager"s, was he still there?" He hemmed & hawed and said "well, we have a lot of temporary employees, he could still be here" and again urged me to call DIRECT TV. I did. The rep said they did not offer anything like the RV receiver, satellite and installation, I would have to buy all that, but they did offer service after that for $7 a month. "So I said it was all just a fantasy? He made it all up?" He said it sounded like I had been misled and bumped me up to Monica in the "president's office". She was pleasant but said the same thing. She offered me, if I bought a receiver/satellite package, that she would comp me the next 3 months service to help defray that cost. I was appreciative of being able to make the RV part of the deal work, but I feel the outright lies and misleading statements are beyond the pale. I would warn everyone about dealing with DISH One Satellite, but I never knew that was who I was dealing with until after the fact. So all I can say is beware! Even in a venue like the home show, scams abound.

My Summer at DishOne was fantastic. Everything they told me I could accomplish I did. The company leadership was probably the best part of my experience. There are multiple leaders that are phenomenal at what they do and care about the success of their sales reps. I highly recommend working here for anyone interested in the industry.

Brandon Cruz knocked on our door saying he was with Comcast, he was going to give us 3 months free service and upgrade our programming for free then increased my bill and if the wind blows we don't have t.v. now. We trusted him because he went to our Ward. Worst experience of my life so sad he said he even served a Mission. We are now stuck in a contract with these guys that they won't let us out of. I'm a retired Vet on a strict budget so now I have to pay these guys for t.v. that doesn't have any of my old channels that I like and rarely works for 2 more years. If anyone from this company knocks on your door call the police. The Sheriff here said they had nothing but problems with these guys. They're all on the dope.

Their sales rep lied through his teeth. We still can't get Comcast to honor the price he quoted us for internet.

I was lied to and swindled by the crooked outfit. I would not sign up with this dish one retailer. I was promised college football tickets when I signed up with dish service but I never received the tickets.

I called the sales rep (Kory) several times and left messages and he never returned my call. Very very bad customer service.

Rep came knocking on the door, without an introduction, name or even who he worked for immediately went into his sales pitch. Within a couple minutes, my wife politely told him we were good with our DirectTV service and when I was shutting the door, he made comments about "Good luck with your high bill" and that he would "blacklist us from Dish service". I just shut the door, but Needless to say his rude comments upset the wife who went out and told him he was out of line and to leave the property. While still in our driveway, he started video recording us with his phone and He proceeded to insult us and my brother, the value of our home and our income. Even said his phone is worth more than our car. Dared us to follow him into the street and continued with insults with neighbors in earshot, yelling our personal info out. Haha. Totally ridiculous. No matter how good this companies services are, This company should really screen and/or train their salesmen on how to accept no, rather than insulting our intelligence and personal situation....yelling it in the middle of the street. Never been treated like that by anyone in this type of situation. Never would consider this company if they were the best entertainment provider on Earth.

The Dishone sales rep lied to my face and told me he was doing a soft check that would not show up on my credit report, well guess what, I now have an inquiry on my report I said to him that I did not want, I reported it to the credit agency, and to the Hammond Marketing DBA Dishone, so if anyone else out there cares about their credit and you talked to a Dishone sales person check your credit report. I specifically told this dirt bag I did not want him to do a check if it was gonna show up as an inquiry and he assured me it would not, I give Dishone an F for dishonesty and I will do all I can to report this every where. they have a chance to do the right thing and remove it, do you think they will, a reputable company would. Look at the reviews people its a crap company.

Promises made, not fulfilled. Then no way to contact this company. The phone number forwards to Dish TV, but this retailer does not answer your call. Deceptive, incomplete, false practices.

sold me on dish tv, internet and phone bundle. Got the TV's hooked up and installed the next day. Awesome. Frontier called that night and set up my internet account. NOBODY CALLED TO SET UP THAT INSTALL!! So I call my dish rep. He texts me and says "call frontier." I called Frontier, had to go through the whole process again, and got a way higher price than originally. They tell me I have to fill out a proof of ID form that they can only mail to me. Then a week later (waiting on said form) I get a call from Frontier and they say "oh no you don't have to fill that form out, were sorry you've been waiting so long," and set up my appointment for install today. Meanwhile sitting here waiting, took the day off, and call Frontier again to get an ETA. NO APPT EVER SCHEDULED AND MY ORDER NUMBER IS "NOT ONE OF THERES"! I hve to still send in afore mentioned form and then they can schedule the install. WTF DID I BUY HERE? On demand takes forever to load anything because it doesn't like my Xfinity interenet. Meanwhile what I'm going to pay for cable, internet and phone is the same exact amount I was paying with Comcast. SERIOUSLY if you are going to come to my door and sell me something, maybe see the whole process through. DICKS.

Dish One continues to be one of the best and most challenging positions I have held in my career with Dish Network. Genuine and understanding people who have a common goal of getting the job done. Amazing leadership who inspire people to get better. Every company and person has room to grow and get better. It's nice to be a part of that.

They dont even pay their employees on time, do you really think they care about you? All this company wants is your money. Lol or your time for free if you work for them.

Richard Ronquillo, my rep lied about the flex plan and Internet. Would of saved money staying with direct tv and AT&T for Internet. But now in stuck in two year contract.

I have been a Dish customer for over 20 years and I love them. It saddens me that Dish uses this company to represent them. DO NOT do business with these people. They are unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and they will not even listen to you to determine what you need. If your problem falls outside of their cookie cutter solutions, they are lost.

If I could give fewer stars I would this is the absolute worst company ever. Never do business wth these people. Don t purchase any service from them, it s all practically a scam. Once you are screwed over they will not help you at all.

Joseph McConnell was the rep who came to my door. offered a package that was going to save me $30 a month. Said he'd be back after Dish installed to help with the bundling of my Dish and Frontier service after a brief call the day I was hooked up with the Dish, he has refused to answer his phone. I found him on Facebook, he claimed he lived down the street but Facebook says he lives in Eugene Oregon and last week he was in Mesa Arizona selling Dish's. I've been had clearly. VERY UNHAPPY

Was lied to by salesman - promises were made that were not true. Home phone and internet service were switched to DISH, which was NOT what I agreed to, due to misrepresentation by the salesman. Then, after 10 days of service, they wanted to charge me $240 to cancel my home phone and internet to go back to my original company. Considering that I never wanted to leave my original phone company, this is pretty poor service! Others in neighborhood were also promised things that were never delivered. NEVER trust these guys.

Second time these college aged kids come knocking on the door. We told them before that we were not interested and they were up on my face telling me that all they were trying to do is save me money. I told them that I would call Dish/Direct TV directly and they said we work for them. Both said they forgot their ID's in their car to provide proof they work for Dish/Direct TV. I told them no thanks and one of them called be a "d***" you get the picture. I called their offices and they couldn't track them down without their ID number which I think was another lie. All in all these kids need to show more respect and accept no for an answer. Seems like they are desperate to get money anyway they can. If any Dish One rep is reading this please be more kind or train your sales reps to be more respectful.

Calm place to work, understanding about scheduling issues. The job itself gets really easy the more you do it.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I would rate a 0 but I can't go that low. The representative from Dish one said I was getting an internet cable package that was cheaper than what I had before so I agreed, that was a lie. Then she found me an internet package that was the price difference I would have had with going with the other company. Then she sets up a day for the internet service to come set up and it was 2 weeks away, I said I needed it sooner so she made it 4 days and gave me a time and order number. Today is the day and the internet service isn't even in the system. All dish one will do is screw you over! Don't ever sign up with them!

Warn your grandparents and your parents that may not be as internet savvy as you. These guys are terrible. No value whatsoever. Stay away.

By far the best experience I have had with any company. Employees are great and they care about their customers.
