I was once a customer with Dish Network was was very displeased with their service back then. they charged me for a box that I had returned wit the threat of sending me to collections. I have been perfectly happy with various other service providers since them but was recently deceived by one of their sales representatives again. He was very pushy and condescending and lied to me with some pretty serious lies to convince me to possibly sign up for services I repeatedly told him I was absolutely not interested in. He pushed and pushed and pushed to get me to agree to at least be pre approved with no obligation to sign up for anything but to lock me into a special price incase I changed my mind. I explained several times that I did NOT want to have my credit run at all so no. He promised me over and over that it would not be run and would not effect my credit report or score. 3 times he promised this in fact. So in order to get him to leave me alone and let me close my door I agreed. The following Monday I was notified by my credit alert company that I had not only 1 but 2 inquiries hit my credit report from Dish Network and ding my credit score. I explained to this Sales Rep named JAcob Reed, many times how anal I was about my credit. He clearly doesn't care about his customers or potential customers at all that he would intentionally harm their credit and lie about it just to make a commision. I am furious! Everyone should be ware of Dish network if their door to door representatives are allowed such deceitful tactics to get service contracts. Shame!
