We purchased a Pacifica from them 5 weeks and found out today they had still not completed the registration paperwork for Florida. I had to go to the dealership because I had left messages and they did not return my phone calls.

Amazing service, favorite person there was this guy Isaiah, forgot his last name but very funny and helpful man, I never do reviews but this place is worth it.
We went in late one evening hoping to make a deal. We were anticipating trading 2 autos for one. Mario was more than patient through negotiations, and Anthony stepped in while we fine tuned the details. We were treated fairly and never once felt rushed, although we were the last ones in the store. They were thorough and informative. We would definitely go back and recommend them to our friends.
My experience here was very unpleasant. I felt like I the team was trying to pull one over on me the whole time. Aside from the terrible acting skills of the sales manager to try and get me into a horrible deal (making it seem amazing), the attitudes of the team members were terrible when they realized they weren t going to get what they wanted. Went to Stew s and got the same vehicle for much cheaper. Guess Dewey s Bottom dollar was fluffed up bit...actually a lot, like I figured.
I am pleased to report that my experience with Dewey Dodge in Ankeny, Iowa was fantastic. We bought a fantastic new Chrysler Pacific Red S Edition Van, which is like a sports care wrapped up in a cool colored van. We have also purchased a new Jeep (our first one) which has also been amazing. It had a recall to address, and working with Brian and his maintenance team was professional and very supportive to get the job done. I look forward to having all our maintenance needs done at Dewey. Terry, Anthony, Brian - our Dewey team of friends and car guys.
I use to have my Jeep serviced here, before I sold it, and they did an amazing job. We were looking to purchase a new Jeep. The salesman was very helpful and kind, but he didn t seem to be very knowledgeable, when it came to a FWD Jeep. They are no where comparable to AWD, or 4-Wheel Drive in the snow or mud. However, I still recommend Dewey, probably the best dealership in the area.
We have never had good service at Dewey Dodge. We took our Chrysler Pacifica in for some warranty work. They told us it would be ready by the end of the day. That was on a Thursday morning. We didn't get the van back till Saturday night. The worst part was that no one ever called to give us an update. I had to call each time to get an update, each time with more disappointing news. It took to yelling at the service manager before anyone actually got to working on my van on the 3rd day.
When I got to the dealership I first was surprised that no one was there to help me in the front desk, it was just a busy day, seemed they were giving away stuff. Finally someone (Steve Hollinger) asked me if I'd been helped. I told him that I wanted to see a Dodge Dart and immediately he took me out to show me what they had. We saw a few and I saw one that fulfilled my wish list and even went beyond. The whole process was very smooth, I was treated very well, every step was very transparent. I'd been to another dealership where they tried to get me to sign an offer, not being clear about it! Just like when you sign a credit application, the guy tried to get me to sign some paper with a price of the car and when I asked what I was supposed to sign, he told me it was my offer!!! I was not ready to commit!! Any way no funny business like that went on in here, they explained well every step and paper I had to sign. Steve had a bit of trouble with the computer system, which to me was completely not an issue, but he told me he was new. I really appreciated his honesty, after all we all are new at some point and need to learn. Any way, I think he did a great job and he was a bit too harsh on himself, but overall he was just very friendly and helpful, even if he did not know the answer to one of my questions he managed to find out and keep me in the loop. Also I must mention that I appreciated greatly that nobody here was pushy, like I mentioned about other dealerships.
Great dealer to work with. Not pushy but professional! Found the exact vehicle we wanted and got the options out on very quickly to make it the Jeep we wanted. Thanks Dewey.
My wife took her truck in to express lube took 3.5 hrs. I made for Friday at 1030 appointment ,told them I had to have it in 2 days they looked at it and parked it outside told me they could work on it Monday. This is the worst service department I have seen. I would recommend going to stew Hanson s not Dewey!
Bought a 2014 jeep grand Cherokee limited, from Brian. Truly amazing guy, didn't rush me or sell me something different, or anything. Brian answered all my questions, as best as I believe anyone could, Brian and the dewy dodge crew have been calling a few times during this week just to make sure everything is good, and to my liking. I highly recommend going to see what they can do for you!
The repair took several hours but the service dept was ever attentive and comissurate during that time. They kept us posted the entire time and got us back in our vehicle in a timely manner. Brian was a sweetheart and his techs were excellent! I have nothing but good to say about the service there from start to finish.
My experience was extremely pleasant here. The service was very good, guiding me through every step of the process, which I am confused about sometimes...Malique helped me out for a long time and we eventually figured out the best car for me!
Excellent establishment to shop for cars and trucks. Working on purchasing a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Sales people are very knowledgeable and always give me a honest deal. I do not shop around because I know my best deal is at this dealership. I am so pleased with my purchase and everyone involved went out of there way to make it happen. It feels like family at Dewey dealership. Thanks for everything
John Burns is a great salesmen! He is very friendly, helpful and hard working! He did his absolute best with our requests. We will definitely be back. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else after such a good experience.
My husband and I were just out window shopping to see what was out there. John got to us first. He showed us all of our options no matter how ridiculous the request. John made us feel important and not pushed into something we couldn't afford. With a game plan set we will definitely be back to purchase. Thank you! Be back soon!
The service department has gone above & beyond a few times now to help fix issues <stereo went completely out - they worked it out to where I did not jave to pay $3-4k for the new one>.
Only downfall - they are ALWAYS busy & are booked a goos month out if not more.
Had a great experience purchasing my Dodge Ram through Dewey Dodge. All financial terms were explained through email without going to the dealership. Went to the dealership to test drive and when it came down to finalizing the purchase there were no surprises. Over all the best experience I have had in purchasing a vehicle. I would highly recommend Dewey Dodge.
I have had my 2009 Dodge Grad Caravan in for service several times with Dewey. I have rarely been satisfied with the result. Most recently we needed an outside oxygen sensor and manifold bolts. After having the van for over a week and still waiting on parts, then service tech was sick, then parts again, we took it home. Brought it back a week later when parts were in. Got it back, but the temperature sensor still did not work.
Service adviser tells me it needs a new wiring harness, and they can't check the new sensor to ensure it works without the new harness. Apparently they could test the old one with it, or I really didn't need the sensor (which was more expensive).
About a month later the transmission failed (covered under the power train warranty). After a week they had it fixed. When we got it home the shifter would not move into Park. Not wanting to get stuck somewhere we took it back. Now the shifter cable needs replaced, apparently not associated with the transmission replacement (yeah right).
Fortunately we have the lifetime extended warranty as well, but I keep getting hit with the $100 deductible for all of these additional problems that crop up in conjunction with or as a result of their repairs. Additionally, everytime we bring it in over the last month the service tech does not know we have the extended warranty. How do you not take notes on the vehicles and keep a record of what is done?
Still waiting to see how the gear shifter repair works out as it is still at Dewey.
If there was a different Dodge dealership within reasonable distance, I would go there.
We purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk edition and absolutely LOVE the vehicle. The service we received at Dewey was "on point" with our expectations and we were treated very well from the moment we drove onto the lot. We were also impressed by the willingness of Dewey to work with us in our situation and negotiate a bit. A+ to these guys for a great car buying experience. Thanks Dewey!
The staff working at Dewey Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram were very helpful when purchasing my new 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. They answered all of my questions and were very accommodating. Dewey had the best deal in new vehicles within a 200 miles radius of where I live! I was able to get exactly what I wanted for far less then I expected to pay when they added on all the rebates as well as the dealer discount. I worked with Dustin and he went out of his way to make the buying process a breeze. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere where you can feel like they genuinely care about your wants and needs this is the place to go!
Salesman, Tyler, was very knowledgeable of the vehicle I was looking at and very easy to work with. Finance guy, Alex, was helpful and made sure we understood everything prior to moving on in the process including paperwork, warranties, etc. Entire staff was friendly and great to work with!
The sales staff did a nice job helping me. That s where this story ends. They kept pushing me around on a truck color I really didn t want. I asked if they could just locate me one they said at the prices they can t be doing a locate. So they had me convinced that no one would do that for me! So they asked to run my credit and I told them I m already preapproved with my local bank and I ll deal with them directly. They said we ll we can probably get a lower rate and that s where the problems started! I said you can run it with your 3 other lenders and not to run it through my bank since I m handling that end. Well they RAN IT WITH MY BANK AGAINST MY KNOWLEDGE WHEN THEY AGREED NOT TO!! So then that changed the terms of everything I had setup at the local branch. Now I m getting calls from the banks indirect lending telling me I have to sign out at Dewey or no deal! Mind you they don t have the truck I really want. I find the truck I really wanted at another dealership. They call my bank since authorized it and talked to the indirect lender at the bank and he refused to let my new dealership have my loan approval. Even told the dealership where I m going that if I want a truck I need to go to Dewey s and sign out on there truck!! How is this legal!!! BUYERS BEWARE OF CORPORATE DEALERSHIPS
We just purchased our 3rd Dodge Caravan from Dewey Dodge through Joe Miller. Joe has always gone out of his way to make sure we are fully informed and secure the best deal for us. All the staff was helpful and helped us secure the deal we needed to make the trade.
I didn t end up buying a car here, but the experience was memorable none the less. I found a nice truck online that I wanted to go look at, drove it and was going to purchase. The online trade in tool on their website said 11,000 for my truck. I had told the sales man that I was going to be trading in my truck via email, but when I mentioned it at the dealership his entire attitude changed. After offering me 4,000 for the truck, I told them that they could sell it to someone else. I was then talked down to like I didn t know what I was talking about. Anyways, will not be going back here regardless of how nice a truck they may have.
Loved Christi our sales person. Was disappointed however that the price of the car didn't include this auto shield and we had to pay for that and didn't ask for it. NOT a good way to do business!
Very nice staff, listened to what I had to say and worked with that, great work on the financing and the staff entertained and played with my two kids to keep them from being bored while we were working on getting the car we wanted. Rob Gora, our sales rep, was very nice and attentive. Would recommend to anyone and will be looking at them again to get my next car, even though its a 3 hour drive to get there!!
Enjoyed my experience at Dewey, Salesperson was very personal, patient and professional. Everyone was very pleasant. I am very happy with my purchase. Dewey will always be my first choice in the future.
Glenn was extremely helpful and knowledgable about the all the vehicles we were considering for purchase. In addition, he entertained my children (ages 10 and 7 = no easy task!) so the pertinent parties could discuss the details of the transaction. He is patient and thoughtful and did not pressure us to purchase from him or his dealership. He genuinely wanted us to get the best deal we could get. His consideration and intuition is spot on. A good guy with strong moral fiber. A pro through and through.
And if you need any more reasons to ask for this gentlemen; He's a veteran. Thank you for your service Glenn!
Thanks to Glenn and Roger Bill who helped us get a fair deal on a brand new Chrysler 200!
Purchased a 2014 Jeep Compass at this location and could not be more impressed. The staff is great, very honest, and they got me into the car I wanted with relatively little hassle. I would highly recommend working with Andrew Schultz (sales) and Roger Bills (manager), they made this the best car buying experience I have ever had. Their prices are fair and they even beat the true market value price for the car from Edmund's! Thanks Dewey Dodge for the great experience and I love my 2014 compass!!!
While I have not purchased a vehicle from Dewey, I did get my Dodge Avenger serviced at this location. The service team did a great job fixing the problem with the vehicle in a timely manor. I was able to walk around the show room floor and on the lot with no pressure from anyone. I had the opportunity to look at different Chrysler products while I waited for the car to get done. The sales consultants were very friendly and helpful, even though they knew I was out of town and knew I wasn't going to purchase a vehicle. I would highly recommend servicing a vehicle at Dewey and would consider making a trip to purchase a vehicle there.
Oil light warning came on as soon as I started it up right after I purchased, has a serious outstanding recall relating to the vehicle not slowing when cruise control was engaged and brake depresses, mats were thrown in a pile in the back instead of being in their correct location, only one key fob was received. I didn't expect to have to call for services/repairs to be done the day after I bought it. (I was told they closed at 6 so I waited til the next day) Vehicle was used (3 years old), 22K miles, appeared clean when I received it. Salesperson was friendly.
Just contacted them on the key fob programming since they didn't get back to me. $80 for programming and no guarantee it will work. Guy was kind of rude as well.
UPDATE: Dewey Dodge general manager contacted me after reading my survey. He has offered a complete clean and provide a key fob for me. The oil change was completed; however the system was not reset. The recall remedy will be completed on my scheduled appointment. My faith has been restored by 2 points.
My son bought a 2016 Jeep that had only 19 miles on it. THREE (3) days later, he's having electrical/computer issues with it. We have made several calls to Dewey trying to talk to the salesman (Mark) that sold him the car and/or the Sales Manager (Nick) that was also involved in the sale. We realize that it's going to have to go to the Service Dept. but feel like at least one of these guys should have given him a courtesy call letting him know they care and to try to help him get some quick results. But NO, they have not returned multiple messages. Finally last night he got a call - From the SERVICE Dept. We will be taking this brand new vehicle to a different Jeep dealer to see about getting it repaired. Buyer beware here: Once you drive off the lot, that really, really, nice salesman, Sales Manager and Financial guy do not Give.A.Crap about you and any trouble you might have with you new vehicle. You are on your own. My recommendation is go somewhere else. There's plenty of other options out there. As I've been reading through these reviews, I'm wondering A. how many people that posted actually called the number suggested in the response from Dewey and B. WHY does it take a negative review to get someone from Dewey to take action and try to do damage control?? Maybe your salesmen, managers, etc. should be trained to RESPOND to phone calls/messages, so that these negative reviews don't happen. So very disappointed with this dealership. I really wish I would have read these reviews BEFORE we visited and bought a car there. I'm certain there are lots of dealers that would have been happy to have us at their business, and most importantly, they would have cared about us after we drove away. Oh, and by the way, no point in responding or giving me your number to call - I won't be calling. If YOU want to call me, check with Mark, Nick, Steve or Christy in the JEEP building - they have MY number and my son's number.
Very easy to deal with. I am in sales myself and I was very impressed with the professionalism of everyone I worked with. They made sure I was happy with everything after the sale as well. Customer service is outstanding.
Sold us a minivan back in 2012 and we had a few problems with the sale. We didn't realize until after we bought the van that one of the headrests was missing for one of the bucket seats. We called and they said, "Well you already bought it so we can't do anything about it." We also added a DVD player. Turns out they ordered and installed the wrong one, even after calling us to verify the correct one. Too late also, to get that fixed. We also talked to them about the amount of payment we would like and they assured us the payment would be close. First bill came and it was over $100 more than we had talked about. They also promised us a cap for our spare tire winder up by our front seats. We tried following up with them and they never came through. We gave up asking about it. Would NEVER return to Dewey for a vehicle.
I drove 4 hours to come look at a car on their used lot. Was told it was nearly brand new and the car needed nothing. Showed up to find out that the battery was dead and that they needed to order another one which took about an hour after I got there to finally get put it and ready to go. Then the car had tire pressure sensors go off and was brought back into the service bay where they tried to fix it. Another 45 mins later the car finally is ready to take its FIRST test drive. But the sensors were not fixed and the car had nearly bald tires on the front which caused the car to pull to the right significantly. Tried to at least negotiate with the salesman to bring the price accordingly with the issues present. Was told they would pay to fix the sensor problem to any mechanic in my area... But when I offered them to just take a few hundred off the top and don't worry about fixing anything they declined. I spent over 2 hours waiting to test drive this car after giving them a 5 day notice I was driving 4 hours to come look at it. They stood completely on their list price without moving an inch. When we could not come to an agreement the salesman walked off without even saying goodbye or anything. Awful Service , Sub-Par Sales Staff and to top off Bad Ownership. I've purchased 15 cars in my short time being alive and this had to be one of the worst experiences. This dealership should be ashamed and embarrassed.
My overall experience with Dewey was TERRIBLE. I made appt with a sales rep I had been in contact with about a particular car, but when I came for my appt the person wasn't even there and no could find him. I had to wait for a long time for another sales rep to find where this guy had left the keys and paperwork for the vehicle. Then, we were rushed out because the person who helped us had another customer waiting. When I finally got my car home I tried to set the keyless entry code because they only gave me 1 key to the vehicle, but I needed the old code to do so. The code was no where in any of the paperwork or car manual, so I called the dealership. They didn't have the code either, which they are supposed to, and told me they would pay for the cost of getting it reset. When I took my car into the shop to get the code reset, the only way to do so was to purchase another key, which cost me almost $250. When I brought the bill into Dewey they refused the pay it. They had terrible service, and lied to me. I will never go back to Dewey.
Worked with Isaiah. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. If he wasn't sure about something, he immediately found out more information. A great experience.
This is the only Dealership in the 5 state area (Minnesota, N Dakota, S Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa) that had a fully loaded, every possible option, Ram Power Wagon on the lot. Not 1, but 5!. It's all about inventory...
My wife got off to look ar a vehicle while I finished a phone call. She was ignored. Go her if you are NOT a woman looking for a car. Sales person showed up to ask if I needed help. I pointed to my wife, saying that she was shopping for a new car. He kept asking me what I wanted. No clue whats so ever. Even after that, he didn't offer a business card. Would not recommend them to anyone.
Purchased a 2015 Fusion form Dewey yesterday and it was the best car shopping experience we have ever had. Our sales person was the best we ever had and really listened to us and helped find us exactly what we were looking for. Zac Sisson is highly recommended for your next sales person at Dewey Dodge
Mario was very personable and listened to us to make sure we received the best service! We highly recommend Mario and look forward to working with him in the future!
Brad Leo went above and beyond for the needs of my wife and I when it came to buying a new vehicle. If you are looking for a good car buying experience I would recommend Brad and Dewey Dodge to everyone.
My husband and I custom ordered a 2013 Dodge Challenger with the help of our AMAZING salesman Greg Tellis. While there were some delays in the actual build, Greg did and outstanding job with keeping us informed every step of the way. This was our 2nd car purchased from Dewey Dodge and will definitely not be our last. We cannot THANK them enough for all their service!!
I am very grateful and happy with the way they treated me all are very kind and friendly and professional and meisieron feel in family thanks thank you very much
I really am starting to hate getting parts here. I need a fricken VIN for a part for an engine that was produced between 4.5-07? And the parts monkey cops an attitude when I point this out? I've even brought in the VIN for brake lines and it STILL listed two different possible parts. I miss the good ole days of telling the parts guy what you want, and voila, there it is.
Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. My son went their to buy a Used Grand Jeep Cherokee. This was his first car deal on his own. Long story short , he made the deal, had stated three times that he didn't want an extended warranty on a the vehicle. Obviously sales and finance are on commissison because they haggled him in to it. Was sold as certified preowned with 125 point inspection. 4 months later, this vehicle needs brakes and rotors. Oh yeah Not covered under high pressure bumper to bumper warranty they sold him. Dealership has said that it is not covered and will be his expense. CERTIFIED INSPECTED ROTORS AND BRAKES DON'T WEAR OUT IN 4 MONTHS. Website has a great statement about how TREATING THEIR CUSTOMERS RIGHT IS THEIR MISSION. NOT!!! Find a car dealership you can trust. It is not this one. Thanks.
After we were out of finance and ready to go we were told it would be around an hour to still get the car detailed which i thought was unacceptable since we had already spent hours going through the process of purchasing. We let them know we would come back which brings us to today. 2 hours encounting for a new car to be detailed. No one has an eta. No one knows if it s done. Super unorganzied and unprofessional post sale so far and it hasn t even been 24 hours. Makes me not look forward to the included services coming up. UPDATE: now with a company vehicle in for an oil change (basic service) and with 4 cars in front of me we are at 2.5 hours and still waiting. Time is apparently never a priority here. Not coming back for any reason ever again weather it be personal or business and i suggest anyone reading this do the same. Unreal.
Just bought a New Ram 1500 from Dewey, today. Very happy with the purchase and the service. Mike Wall and the rest of the team did an excellent job! Thanks!
I called them to get a new key fob. They said it would be 2 weeks before they could get me in and they had to preorder another for $164 (no labor) just for the new fob. I'm never purchasing a vehicle from them again!
Did my homework internet shopped alot of dealer websites and Dewey was the best deal around. Sales was very accommodating and financing was a breeze! Best selection in the tri-state area hands down!
My experience with the staff at Dewey dodge Ford was was very good. They found the used truck I was looking for and the truck was within my budget. Good experience.
They made the whole buying experience exceptional. We were very pleased with everyone we came in contact with. I would definitely recommend anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle to go to this establishment.
Absolutely the most professional staff. Our sales person, Jake, was outstanding in helping us purchase our truck. I would highly recommend Dewey and their staff. Thank you for this excellent experience!
I really enjoy car shopping here. Everyone is friendly and never pushy. They will do their best to work with you and meet your needs. Brian was our salesman and I really enjoyed working with him.
Horrible experience- They sold me the wrong van. They were discussing the van i wanted and thought i was purchasing the whole town up until the final paperwork when they changed the vin#. Have to wonder if they did it in purpose? They didn't offer me anything to fix the situation whatsoever and the whole experience was absolutely terrible. I WILL be reporting this company.
I continue to be disappointed with service at this location. They do not keep you informed of the status of the car. Everytime I have brought my Daughter's Dart in for service, there are significant delays in the timeline they provide but there is never a courtesy call to let you know. The customer is expected to call in and get a status on why the service is delayed.
A simple transmission flush and transmission oil filter change is now taking 6 hours. The reason? They don't have the oil and have to go to another dealership. I asked to be notified when the oil arrived and what the expected time frame is for completion. I was told, "I will definitely call you when the oil gets here." That was over 2 hours ago. We never received a call and when we called, we were told the oil is here and it will be 35 minutes to completion. We arrived in 30 minutes and we are now going on an hour to completion. The is no Manager on site to talk to about this.
Poor communication and lack of basic essentials to accomplish basic tasks seems to be lacking. I bought this car from this dealership. Every year, a rep calls me to see how the car is. When I call back, I seldom am able to talk to him but when I have and lodged concerns I have had with the service department, I was told the service manager would call me back, but I never received the callback.
I started getting basic routine maintenance elsewhere, but wanted this service to be done by experts familiar with Dodge vehicles. It's now an hour since we were told 35 minutes. No one has come to explain what the delay is...
I wish to extend thanks to Josh Fisk and the Dewey Dodge team for helping me get my 2013 Dodge Durango. I am a big Dodge fan (have had Dodge vehicles for over 20 years). I have been shopping for a vehicle for over a year and finally came across this vehicle @ Dewey...best price and it had almost everything on the vehicle I wanted (and then some). What it did not have Josh hooked me up and got done what I wanted on the vehicle. I was shocked at how big the dealership really was went I went to first visit it and their was a large selection to choose from which is a huge bonus in my opinion. The people were friendly and courteous. Thanks again!
Called parts wanting some factory plastic truck bed rail caps and tailgate top cover as they get old and bubble up, more so in the heat. Was told bed caps were a month back ordered but had tailgate was in stock...$72 for tailgate cap and $38 a piece for bed caps. There aren't aftermarket ones that I can find because the way Chrysler has made these from factory, besides deezee which 3m tape to the top of the plastic facory ones. So I called back saying I was coming to get tailgate piece and backorder the rail caps...walk in wait couple minutes told guy wait ten more minutes for explaination that they do have a set of bed rail caps he goes and gets them, another five minutes...I paid credit card not really looking...was walking out and looked at receipt and one cap is $38 and the other is $86.50 and saw the tailgate cap doesn't come with the six plastic clips needed to help hold it on...go in and told a different guy need clips and why is one cap more than double the other one and I need these clips...he gets clips and those come up to $19.08 for six plastic clips, I said what about the price of the caps he says that's just the way Chrysler is I said they are identical one right and one is left but identical, he said that's just the way it is... There's no way or reason one is suppose to be $86.50 and one $38 they are exactly the same thing one right one left, was going to take em back but don't really have many other options to replace em with and was already late getting somewhere I needed to be...always had good luck with service dept prior to this
The price on the vehicle was very good and the vehicle itself was in great condition. The human factor was less than acceptable. My salesman gave me two key fobs but one was for a different vehicle. To be fair, the salesman seem to be overworked and was helping multiple customers at the same time. Nonetheless, that was strike one. Then, having offered a vehicle for trade, they processed a check for my trade seven days after they received the title but didn't mail it for another seven days. Strike two. Strike three came when I discovered that the finance person had signed me up and charged me for a service agreement which stated that my oil changes had to be performed at the dealership in Iowa. I don't live in Iowa. The finance person knew that but signed me up for it anyway and failed to tell me. That is about as unethical as it gets. Another problem is when I went to register the vehicle in my local jurisdiction more than two weeks after I purchased the vehicle and the title hadn't been processed yet.
In conclusion, I'm happy with the vehicle but very disappointed in the customer service.
We shopped online for the best deals. We found them at Dewey. I was going to call them and another dealership however they had an online chat so I asked my questions that way instead of calling. Because of this is also didn t call the other dealership. Ryan Scriver was car salesman and he was very helpful. He had the vehicle we were looking at already pulled up. We worked with Josh and Tyler as well. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Their dealership was clean and looked great. My wife and I will be looking to buy another dodge vehicle in time and I m sure we ll just come back here. We really appreiacted the service. Also to mention, Ryan helped set up Bluetooth with my wife since that s the one thing she was looking for. Great service. Thanks guys.
Family was in town from out of state visiting. They had an emergency issue with their fuel tank the day they had to head back home and had to have their vehicle towed with no way to get back home. We tried calling everywhere to get someone to help fix it, but everyone was booked. We finally went here to their service department, and even though they were completely booked, they were compassionate and understanding enough of our situation to squeeze us in to have it fixed so my family could get back home. It wasn't even a Dodge vehicle that we brought in, and they still helped them out. I bought my vehicle next door at Dewey Ford, and after dealing with Dewey I can say they're definitely a place I will continue to do business with and continue to recommend
I had such a great experience! Isaiah Miller was an amazing help, this has been the easiest car buying experience I ve had in years! I m definitely going to recommend to my family, and purchase my kid s future cars here!
Outside of our great salesman, Garrett, I was not really overly impressed by anything about Dewey. Our salesman was courteous, informative and met out needs. The deal making was pretty much insulting, unprofessional and had us close to just leaving. The final paperwork to buy the Jeep was, well, done by a very disinterested person and we paid cash, so no huge deal there. And the facility ? Not impressed. We have bought or leased 10 vehicles from Toyota of Des Moines. If you want courteous, fair, professional people with great atmosphere, try there. Having said that, if you don't want a Toyota type of car (they don't make Jeep types) then you may have to settled for a lesser dealership. This is constructive criticism, not meant to be inflammatory. People spend a lot of hard earned money purchasing new cars and very expensive new cars these days. They deserve the utmost respect and consideration
Tyler Mulholland is hands down the worst sales associate I have ever worked with. He was rude, interrupted, and threw a fit when the sale didn't work out. His manager, I believe Greg Tellis, came over and spoke with us after going back and forth with Tyler. He explained they would not be able to make the vehicle fit into our price point. He was very kind, and thoroughly explained the situation without any issues. We thanked Greg for his time, and we were ready to leave at this point. Tyler then got upset because he thought we had a deal, and was upset we were just going to walk away from the situation. This was definitely an interesting experience, but I would highly recommend working with someone more emotionally mature. (If this review was of just Tyler it would be a 1 star)
**Update** My salesman cane through. He got the service department to overnight the missing part to fix my vehicle. So the service department was forced to fix my vehicle and resolve my issues ASAP. All in all, as long as you have someone in sales to guide the service department along, the experience might be smoother.
Sales people are a joy to work with, but the service department is terrible.
I live about an hour away from Dewey and came to purchase a used Jeep Liberty for a decent price on a Thursday, everyone in sales was very friendly and courteous. Was told they need to do a safety inspection since they just got the vehicle in and should be able to pick it up tomorrow (Friday). Received a call Friday saying they need to fix a transfer case seal and a ball joint, but to go ahead and come in to sign paperwork. Went back in Friday to sign paperwork (again sales team was friendly) and was told the Jeep would be ready by Monday, but unfortunately they were not able to give me a rental over the weekend. No big deal, I had another vehicle.
This is where the issues begun. Monday, I called the service department around 1:30 to see if my vehicle was ready. The service department could not find a record of anything until I was able to get the manager on the phone. I was told the vehicle was "waiting to be worked on". Unfortunately my other vehicle needed to be dropped off at a different shop for repairs and my just purchased Jeep would have been my only form of transportation. So to call and hear that the repairs haven't even been started was a bit of a shocker.
I contacted my original sales rep, and he was able to get me a rental. I went and picked up the rental at 5PM. He mentioned that the Jeep would possibly be done by 8PM, so I stayed in Altoona until 8 to try and get my vehicle that night. Unfortunately, once 8 rolled around, found out my vehicle still wasn't done and was told should be done by tomorrow early.
The next day, Tuesday, I called around 11am to see if my vehicle was ready so I can come pick it up over lunch. Unfortunately, again, my vehicle wasn't ready and was informed the Tech stayed until midnight working on the vehicle. I was told it should be ready this evening. Called before heading there around 5PM, was told the vehicle wouldn't be ready until 7PM. Got to Dewey around 7 and picked up my vehicle (finally).
Drove home and found out the next day the transfer case shifter linkage was never reconnected (could not engage 4 wheel drive). Called the service department. Again, paperwork could not be found on my vehicle. After struggling to get answers, was told to bring the vehicle back at 5 to have the tech take a look and a manager would be there to talk to me. Drove back the next day (Thursday) hoping it was a quick fix. Once I arrived at 5:15 and dropped off my vehicle, I was informed that that their Techs don't work past 5, so I would have to leave the vehicle with them again. Unfortunately, the manager was no where to be seen as promised either.
Had to call for an update on my vehicle around 12:15 on Friday, said the vehicle won't be done until Tuesday next week. Lets add up the time the vehicle has been in the service dept: Last Saturday = 11 hrs, Sunday = 0 (closed), Monday = 17 hrs (if in fact they did stay until midnight), Tuesday = 12 hrs, Wednesday = 0 (I was able to drive it), Thursday = 0 (should have been at least 1 since they don't close until 6 PM), Friday = 11 hrs, Saturday = 11 hrs, Monday = 11 hrs, Tuesday = 11 hrs. So add them all up: 84 hours in the service department for a ball joint and a transfer case seal and linkage. I am at a loss for words... I am paying interest on a vehicle I don't even have in my possession yet....
We purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from Dewey's in June. Our salesman was Greg Tellis, we specifically asked for Greg when we started looking for a jeep. Greg had helped our daughter find a jeep in March and we were very impressed with his knowledge of the vehicle. He went out of his way to help her find just what she wanted and did the same for us with our jeep. He is very personable and makes the buying experience very (if the term fun can be used I would say that yes it was fun) We will definitely recommend Greg to anyone we know that is looking for a new car. Thanks again to Greg Tellis and Dewey Dodge Jeep! David Cusic
