Decent hotel. Many variety for breakfast. But vast difference between online booking and at counter booking. We paid more for spot reservation. This hotel property is situated in a calm locality.

The hotel was good,but the worse part was that they charged for Rs 3000 something for a simple dusty stain .They said it can't be cleaned at all.Then what's the purpose of laundry over there.They charged nearly equal amount of the room charge for a stain.If some one has to pay Rs 3000 for a stain mark+Rs 4000 Room charge then I would not recommend this to anyone.Rather I would prefer some luxurious hotel.

The entrance had a ramp. There were helpers around. Pretty lounge area, double bedroom was standard. Lighting was perfect. Fire sprinkler, bathroom alert were in place. Amenities like digital safe, mini bar, hair dryer, kettle, etc were good. There were 2 drawbacks though, the hot water shower was not working and there was cigarette smoke smell all over the corridor outside the room. I have given the 5th star for accessibility. Nearness of the City Centre 1 Mall was an added advantage.

A renovated property... Easy access to local transport... Good place for over night stay on business trips... Food needs to be improved...

Good banquet with an accommodation of around 200-250. Food was good in quality. But the waiters were very slow and not up to the mark.

The room was just awesome. The idea of keeping the bathroom attached and transparent with glass is something really classy and romantic. Room has everything you need. From hair dryer to slippers to shaving kit to mini bar. Just loved it.

Good place to stay..and Breakfast was extremely excellent..

An extremely unprofessionak servicr .misleading people with available facilities..banquet rooma booked without checking liquor can be served or not.last minute information before party starts ..that there is no liquor licence.they should have informed me when i had booked the deciduous banquet room on third floor..imagine liquor being in a small room downstairs and party being held upstairs.my guests faced a huge embarrassment and so did i ..i demanded conpensation foen tge manager and she turned ablind ete to it.guess this is the ways you tresr customers ..i am disgusted with tge attitude and i have told all mey friends never to book a banquet riom or visit the hotel
.guess loss of business dont botger you all ..but loss of face does bother me .i demand a compensatin if 15000 for the amount of liquor i spent on August 1..billed for deciduous room..I am extremeky unhappy with the way it was done.this hotel in salt lake kolkata takes the cake for unprofessionalism..regards Debraj

In house cake baked by the chef was phenomenal ( butterscotch flavour)....
Room was spick and span...
Complimentary breakfast was good...

Horrible experience... very very disrespectful staff... my in- laws stayed for 2 nights, each day landed being traumatic. THE HOTEL STAFF IS INVOLVED IN STEALING FROM GUESTS. A racket that has everyone involved especially the management as no camera no support was offered when my father in laws phone( Samsung S8) got stolen from inside the room. Reception or management showed no support to old age guests rather abruptly kept calling in the room asking my in laws to vacate. They are old and were treated with no respect at all. This is unacceptable and shows that this hotel specializes in no manners and have disgraceful staff. I highly urge no one to go for this hotel.

Amazing hotel! Awesome brealfast, amazing room, have a small swimming pool and small gym...very comfortable bed...amazing staff...tasty breakfast....serves chocolates and cookies every day complomentarily...very satifactory

Nice experience in The Sovrani Hotel during my company meeting.

The service rendered by receptionist (Mr. J.M.Singh) was against ethics of hotel industry (service sector). He is very rude in behaviour and not providing room when guest arrived but room was available. His behaviour was totally rubbish and like dictatorship (seams monopoly) only hotel in kolkata. It was against proffessionalism of this sector. Owner of this hotel should take a note of the same otherwise competitor will go ahead and u will have nothing available to loose.

It was chick place very centrally located and ample parking place

Went there for office dinner, a lot food variety was there. But taste can be made slightly better. Overall good.
