Don t bring you car for service here. I was told that my oil change will take an hour if I book a waiting appointment. It s been over and hour and when I asked for an update the person said well because of covid is hard to meet the times I understand that staffing and situations has change due to covid. But you can clearly see that this place doesn t follow social distancing for their employees and for the customers . Waiting area is fully open and people are seating next to each other . Mechanics are working on stations next to each other . Some of them not fully covering their faces. PLEASE DONT USE COVID FOR YOUR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My feedback to DHC Honda is. If you can t meet the expectations you are giving us. Just ask for A little more time. I m sure we will understand if you tell us that will be 2 hours instead of one. Be more clear on what to expect . Respect your customers time. Some of us have family members depending for us to help them
The sales consultant Jahlil was very helpful and fun to make business with. He made sure he gave me options that fitted my price budget by breaking everything thing down a need to know. Everyone at the place was friendly and welcoming too. This is a good place to get a honda!
I stood in Service for 10-15m before anyone acknowledged me. I went for a diagnostic but was pretty confident about what the problem was.. just needed new tires. They knowingly quoted highest price of $750 for 4 tires and just said that's how they do it.. highest price tires in stock.

A Major Disappointment, I would not recommend anyone to go to this dealership. We purchased a fully inspected (as touted by the dealership) last month. Very next day car won t start, had to give multiple jump starts to turn it on. Took it to the dealership a day later, was told battery is dead and will have to pay $200 for replacement. Despite telling them my ordeal, no courtesy to replace a battery which was already faulty at no charge and asking me to pay for it. There is more, spoke with their manager on duty who said he will speak with their service manager and contact me back. I am still waiting on that call till today. So please AVOID going to this place.

Buying a car isn't a simple process when you're constantly looking for great deals. I just recently graduated college and was looking into buying a car, either new or used. I did have my eyes set on a specific car which is the Honda Accord Coupe Ex-L. Furthermore, I've been looking around consistently for the last 6 months for a good deal which met my financial standards. I came across DCH Academy Honda through online and I immediately had my eyes set on this beautiful 2009 Honda Accord Coupe Ex-L model. So without a second thought, I booked an appointment with Tim Crowley, a used cars salesman. Let me begin by telling you, this gentlemen could not have given me any better hospitality from the beginning to the end. As soon as I walked in, he greeted me open handedly and was ready to make me a happy customer. He clicked very well with us from the start and did not hesitate to hear our end when discussing about the car. He did everything he could in his power to meet at a VERY reasonable price. He knew without a doubt, he wasn't going to let me walk out the dealership without a smile on my face. I am now a proud owner of a beautiful car. Ultimately, Tim is the reason I walked out the dealership with my first big purchase after graduating college and I could not be any more grateful. I was a first time buyer so I really didn t know the process of buying a car and I was Mainly going with what the sells man was telling me and he told me I was paying less then the asking price but at the end after I signed the paper work I noticed I was paying way more than the asking price nearly 10000 more and I know it s my mistake for trusting a sells person and signing papers without completely reading everything but now I learned from my mistake and I won t never trust a car sells person or anybody that works at that dealer, they got me good

Absolutely one of the worst dealerships to obtain a lease from in the state of New Jersey. We met with a hostile and uncooperative car salesman named "Bryan" who was more interested in flirting with fellow saleswomen than in ensuring that our needs and concerns were addressed in the new lease we were planning on obtaining from the dealership. We will never lease or buy another vehicle from this dealership after our experience there today.
I was contacted by the dealership the very next day i made an inquiry thru the "Costco car buying program" . the Rep's name was Patrick Corley, a very attentive and an easy going rep, who got on the case immediately to find me the pilot with the trim i requested. i didn't even visit the showroom until the car was ready for delivery. the deal was negotiated over the phone/ email. a couple of days later ( a bit earlier than i was told), Patrick called me to tell me my pilot was ready. I showed up at the dealership and he had everything ready to go. everything i asked for, and everything Patrick promised me over the phone was satisfied during that visit. i can say that this was the least stressful car buying experience i ever had. forgot to mention that, through the Costco program, DCH Academy honda was able to beat 3 different local dealers by a respectful margin. i recommend them if you are shopping for a Honda in the central jersey area.
Bought a used Ford Taurus... Felt like a second class citizen when I brought it in two weeks after I bought it to check for some warranty work.....Apparently bought nitro fill for tires when I got car... So I asked them to do the service i paid for.... They acted like it was a bother....I guess if it was a Honda , I would have been treated better.....very disappointed.... So hard to find good people in the world today ....went back again for same problem with car ...grease all on my carpets , and they still didn't fix my car. Unless I pay for parts.....the worst car dealership I have ever been to....avoid them like the plague....

My wife and I were in the market for a Honda Odyssey. After extensive internet research I found a well priced 2014 model that was certified. Having dealt with dealerships in the past, I was prepared for the back and forth over price and the dirty little tricks. Surprisingly I didn't encounter that. I met my salesman in the parking lot who allowed my wife and I ample time to look over the car and do a test drive. Once we made a decision to go further into the process, our sales rep asked me what my goal was in terms of affordability and they made it work. There was a bit of haggling, which is to be expected, but after the manager Sal came over and we talked and he provided different options, I was satisfied. This is a smaller honda dealership, but don't let that fool you. On a Tuesday afternoon I saw many customers walk in for the first time like me and go into contract quick. Total time from entrance to driving away was about 3hrs, which is great. They know what they are doing. If you are like me, you always ask if you negotiated the right deal. After googling prices for what I just bought I can say that honestly I did. Probably better than I realize, and I didn't feel bullied, intimidated or neglected in the process. Give Sal and the crew a shot, I believe that you'll have a similar experience.
This was our second CR-V purchase at DCH and another great experience. Khalil was friendly, courteous, fair and went above and beyond to ensure we were extremely satisfied with our purchase throughout the process.
Excellent dealer. Their services are real fast and quick. I went there at afternoon and come out of there with the new car within 2-3 hours. They have a plenty stock from where you can choose your ride.

When we got there, we were a little spectacle of the service we might receive because we had been to several dealerships,and their class and customer service was as poor as their vehicles. At DCH Academy Honda; the cars and the inventory are superb. Sanjay Chadda, and his staff made our sales experience an educational process. I have never learned so much about pre-owned cars and the selling process. We were fascinated with the description of the car and all the fine details provided on our first visit. After a not so great experience at another Honda dealer, I found everything I could want and more at DCH in Old Bridge. I found the car I was looking at online and the internet sales guy Mark Kamatoy, immediately gave me the best price on the car with no haggling necessary! I was then put in touch with salesman, Sam Beshay, and all went smoothly and quickly! As soon as the car arrived on the lot, Sam emailed me (the easier way for me to communicate without playing phone tag). He was in touch all the time with any information he would need and my financing (with the help of friendly and helpful Akram Ali) and purchase went quickly, smoothly, and easily! I would totally recommend them for any car purchase!

Bought a used Chevy Malibu from here about a month ago. Buying experience was ok but took longer than it probably should have given it was a cash purchase. As I pulled out of the parking lot I noticed the gas tank wasn't full and oil life was at 32% which I would normally expect to be done as a courtesy but not the end of the world. I called last week to check on the status of my title, tags and registration and was told it wasn't in yet and then left a message for my salesman Bryan. Since I still hadn't heard anything from Bryan and given it's 4 weeks from purchase and my temporary registration is expiring I called again to find out it still wasn't in. I received a call back from Peter to be told there was a "title issue" that needed to be resolved which is why there had been a delay. No reason given for why they would sell a used car that they didn't have a clear title on, or why after 4 weeks nobody had bothered to call me to let me know there was a delay. Now I'm being told I have to drive 90 minutes back to the dealership for the new temporary tags and registration while they try to figure out what is going on, apparently sending it to me overnight is not an option. So glad they charge the extra $300 processing fee!
Going into a car dealership is always a little daunting, last night I went into to Honda not sure exactly what I was going to do or wanted. Greeted by a very friendly staff and then introduced to Agustin Olivera who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He took the time to sit down with us and talk out our options. Working out a great deal for us and really just listening and keeping in mind what I wanted. I am more than happy with the service and the new car I leased last night, throughout the years my family has worked with many dealerships but Honda really gears it self to cater the costumers rather than being pushing it was the best experience by far. Can not thank enough the whole Honda staff we interacted with through the process and especially Agustin Olivera !!!!!!!!
Car came with new tires but the N2 gas cost $300. According to the _Get Nitrogen Institute_ website the cost should be a lot lower, ~ 3 to 10 dollars a tire. Car dealers do charge more but ...editing my post...Just got of the phone with Bergey Ford in Ambler Pa.near my home and it's $20 for refill all 4 tires and $50 for a complete fill of 4 tires. N2 does leak out but slower and it does have benefits, but at $300, old fashion air would have suited me. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the overall service of DCH Academy Honda.

Car buying is tough and a few other dealers I visited just confirmed any amount of preparation is not enough, but with DCH the experience was just unbelievable. Started at true car and soon Megan reached out and on a quick call with her i was able to get all details literally no surprises.Once at the showroom I was blowed away by the professionalism, compassion, knowledge and efficiency of Erik and dch finance team. Eric was far and beyond the car salesman, very understanding considerate and ensured i got the right price for my trade in, no low balls and gimmicks just straight forward pricing. I was never pushed to buy any extras and literally could pick the extras which made sense for us. Erik knows his Honda very well and I had the finest demo for our odyssey features and felt very comfortable driving out of the lot. He even helped me with setting up car seat and transferring stuff nothing like my prior experience at dealerships where sales just rushes out to next customer once you sign the dotted lines....I highly recommend contacting Erik for your next Honda and surely, will be back soon for our second car. We bought a certified car from this dealership few days ago and got the car after few days of paying the money (We requested them to keep the car for few days as we were out of station). I noticed the car tire making lot of noise. When I took it to the dealership the next day they told they cant help it. If I want to get rid of the tire noise I will have to purchase new tire. It is ridiculous that they sell car with bad tires and ask the customer to pay for it. It is a certified car and I paid almost 70% of a new car. When I asked their manager told "If the car tire noise irritating you.. it is your problem, honda not responsible for it". Come on guys I am not complaining about the car after a month, I drove it couple of miles and coming back to you next day to say that you gave me a car not in good condition. They didn't tell that they are going to sell me an engine with a gearbox and nothing else "Covered". I even suspect the car tires got replaced the time they kept the car in their inventory as I have already paid the money and they have the excuse "We don't cover tires under certification" Please don't buy from these people. They may cheat you and give reason "That item not covered under Honda certification"
It was an awesome experience. Starting from the getting Price from the Internet, Mark Kamatoy gave me an awesome price which attracts me to come to DCH Academy Honda. At the shop, Enrique Castaneta helped me to finish the whole process from Test drive to get a new car out of the door in just 3 to 4 hours. He introduced me with Jack Zurick. Jack helped me to get good finance rate. Paul Marques gave me a really awesome price for my car warranty from Honda Care. He explained really well all the options available. Paul helped me finish all the paperwork. Also, met Chris Mazzeo, the really helpful person for any kind of questions or concern.
Overall experience was great, all the staff member are helpful. They hold their customer's hand.
I leased my 2009 Civic with DCH Academy Honda and when my lease was up I called most of the Honda dealers in the state shopping around looking for a great deal. I got more than I ever expected getting. I was more than happy to continue doing business with DCH Academy Honda. They made it very easy and they worked with me to get a deal that was fair and economical. They took into consideration my loyalty of staying with them through another lease, and I look forward to finance an Accord with them when my lease is up. Paul Rittberg was friendly and personable. He made it a very easy going process and was very patient with my requests. I won t be specific about Price but I definitely saved a lot of money on this deal and it worked out very well for me. His willingness to make me go home happy was a key ingredient to making me want to return to do business with DCH Academy Honda in the future.
They have a service coupon that says they will match a coupon from another Honda within 50 miles of dealership. When I presented coupon, the service advisor's response was that Bay Ridge Honda was more than 50 miles away. The dealership is 31 miles away. The advisor then responded that their coupon should state that it would honor prices within 25 miles. However, she would honor the coupon but not at their "discount price," but at a higher price--when I called the day before the regular price I was quoted for the service was what she told me the discount price was. They later told me I needed additional work--by that time they had already removed the parts that needed to be repaired, so I had no choice but make the repairs--even if the work was unnecessary. i have bought and had cars serviced at this dealership since 2012. They have really gone downhill.
This is the fifth Honda and second from DCH Academy. We went for a car service and just sneak peaked to find out about any offers, we met Khaleel A.Kuraishi. We found him very friendly sales person. The way he presented the CRV made us to come out of the DCH with the SUV.

I went to Academy Honda on 10/29/16 to purchase a 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6 2 door coupe. I discussed the purchase of the vehicle with Megan Byrnes over the phone and via internet prior to my visit. I met with Khalil Quraishi when I walked into the dealership to finalize the vehicle purchase. I always buy my new cars through Academy Honda and it is always a pleasant experience. I did most of my research prior to going to the dealership to minimize my time spent at the dealership. They were both very knowledgeable, helpful, clear, efficient and accommodating during the entire process. I then met with the finance manager, Jenni Negrin, and she was also very knowledgeable, accommodating, clear and very helpful in making all my decisions. I was shopping around for a Civic Si through the internet and Academy Honda was the most helpful and quickest to respond. My girlfriend had bought a Civic from them early last year and had nothing but great things to say about her experience, and the car I was trading in also came from them, so I felt pretty good about returning to Academy Honda for my first new car. When I got to the dealership I was greeted by Joseph Guzzo. He got the paperwork from the lady I spoke with online and the rest of the process was basically history. I was quoted a price that was actually lower than what I was quoted online and I honestly doubt I would have gotten a better price anywhere else. I got exactly what I expected for my trade-in as well. Joseph was extremely helpful and honest with us, never pressuring us into anything. I leased a Honda Civic yesterday from Academy Honda in Oldbridge, NJ. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I was treated exceptionally. Everyone at Academy was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous. Robert Levine was the salesman and he did an amazing job. For two weeks, I went to countless car dealerships and was often insulted by their offers and disappointed in their lack of professionalism in knowledge about their product and competitors products. Robert walked me through the process step by step and demonstrated immense patience. I was truly amazed by his knowledge of the Honda Civic as he explained each and every individual feature of the car. I was offered a great price and I never felt even once that i was being taken advantage of like the other car dealerships. Additionally, Lily Li was extremely helpful in helping me getting approved. I've worked hard to build my credit back up in the past few years, and Lily did a fantastic job in helping me get approved at the price I wanted. I've leased a car in the past and it was stressful and very time consuming. I came to DCH to get a new car and the second time around was a lot less stressful compared to my first leasing process with another dealer. The process was smooth and quick. Ash was very helpful and gave us a great deal. We went to a few dealerships but came back to DCH Academy Honda because of the atmosphere and helpful service provided.
I m highly disappointed in the customer service I have been receiving from DCH stores. I bought an oil change package and was specifically told I was able to use it at any DCH store. Yet this was false information and now I have been getting bounced around from multiple stores and have been getting turned away ! no one seems to even care to help me. I will never recommend DCH stores and there fake packages to anyone!

I have an appointment for an oil change at 11:30 am Wednesday...I got there at at 11:40 am because of traffic. It is now 2:19 pm and it is not done yet.
I am giving 1 star because I can't give it zero. The unprofessionalism I experienced was something I have never experienced in my life when it came to purchasing a car. I had the absolute displeasure of dealing with Lisa Golembiewski who didn't know the availability of the inventory and have me come in to look at a car that was in the shop and Agustin Olivera a "sales person" who was extremely disinterested in making a sale. Both individuals wasted my time and would not return any of my phone calls. No worries though this cash sale is already on its way to a dealership that wants to make money.
I found the car via ebay and although I didn't win the auction (it never reached the reserve price), in follow up communication with Veronica we were able to settle on a very fair price. I was an out of state buyer and after jumping through some some logistical hoops between my lender, insurance and DCH we were able to get all the details sorted out and Veronica was very patient with all the back and forth. When I arrived at DCH and inspected the car it was as described. We sorted through paperwork and I drove my wife's, new to her, car home. Between a quick test drive and signing paperwork with Veronica and Dave, the entire transaction took less then two hours which meant I was able to drive home to Vermont before the end of the day. All and all an easy transaction and good people to work with.
Came in to buy a car. The salesperson Andy was great. Very patient throughout the whole process with me and my indecisive family. Walked out happy with a brand new Civic! The whole staff at DCH Academy is great, and I would definitely come back here for another car in the future.
My experience at DCH Academy Honda leasing a 2015 Honda Civic EXL for my daughter was absolutely fantastic. I asked for a quote which I promptly received from David Harris over the internet. David answered all my upfront questions and provided a great price quote. When I visited the dealership David greeted me and assigned me to my salesperson Robert Levine. Robert was extremely friendly and made me very comfortable throughout the process. He did not have the specific color I wanted in stock but knew how important it was that I get the exact car I had requested. It was to be a gift for my Daughter's college graduation. I knew that there were very few left and Robert was upfront with me that finding one would not be easy. I could tell he knew just how much this meant to me and was not sure if he could locate one but that he would try his best. Robert kept in contact with me and within a few days located the car. There were no gimmicks , the price I qualified for was what I paid. Robert spent all the time needed to go over all the bells and whistles with my Daughter and made sure she was totally comfortable with the car. If you are interested in a Honda you would not be wasting your time at this Dealership. I do recommend you ask for Robert Levine, he truly demonstrated astonishing customer service.
We've bought several cars from Salesperson Robert Levine over the past 18 years and referred numerous friends and relatives to him. Robert always gives a great deal and he could not be nicer. He always makes sure to tell us everything we need to know about the cars we've purchased and is always available to answer questions should they arise. We could not be happier with a dealership or a salesperson!
Don't be fooled by its high reviews. Overcharged me for a three year lease. Don't go in there unless you do a lot of research on leasing prices. Yes, they're professional when it comes to service, etc, but they're sharks, the same as all the other dealers.
