I am writing this review because of the extraordinary experience I had with selling my Honda Element to David McDavid Honda in Frisco. Sales Consultant Terrance Mayberry, was courteous, kind and very patient with me in the process of getting an appraisal. The used car manager came out on a few occasions to walk me through the process and I received a call from the General Manager, Ali Benli to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. This was a 5 star experience! Highly recommend.

Blown away. I've been to plenty of dealerships and few have demonstrated the quality of care I received here. Came in for some repair work and was immediately helped as soon as I pulled up to the service bay. Despite having bought my Honda out of state, I was treated as if I was an existing customer. Once it was determined that my car would be kept for 4 days (needed to order special parts), they provided me with a loner car free of charge (still had to pay for gas). The only downside of the loner is that it made me really want a new car! After that, I was provided with email updates to approve the service and cost. How is this not standard operating procedure at other dealerships?! At the end, returning my loner and retrieving my car was smooth and efficient.

If and when the time comes to buy another Honda, I know where we're going. Very impressed!

I walked into McDavid Honda not with the intention of buying any car. We just wanted to check out the Odyssey. We were greeted by Levani N and after talking/negotiating with him we ended up buying a 2014 Honda Odyssey. Levani was helpful and went the extra mile to help us get a good deal and with the trade in of our other car. From the time we got into the showroom he was very helpful and answered every question we had. I highly recommend Levani N to other potential customers. Levani and Honda of McDavid gave us a very good car buying experience.

Highly disappointed. I took my vehicle in for main...

Highly disappointed. I took my vehicle in for maintenance a few weeks ago and asked them to check the starter. I told them my lights, a/c and dash panel all turned on but starting the car took several tries. I was told I needed a new battery, even though the other items worked perfectly. Question is did they even check the starter? 3-4 weeks later, my car stalls and guess what...... it needs a new starter. Called McDavid Frisco's service manager to get some resolve on this matter. He told me he would call in the afternoon. Guess what, no call. Called my service advisor, guess what?? You got it, NO RETURN CALL. I'm frustrated I just want some resolve. Can we make it happen?

Requested an online quote for my Honda and recieve...

Requested an online quote for my Honda and recieved it within hours, then emailed the sales person, David Briggs. We reviewed all the items I was interested in and the price I was wanting to pay. We spoke on the phone and got the details in line before I even went to the dealership. Once we were there went on a test drive in the vehicle and colors I wanted. We had our other vehicle and were able to trade it in on an agreed price. Left feeling good about the decision and that it had worked out great for our family. David made sure we got all our belongings from our old car and some pictures of the old car next to the new car. We worked with Matt in finance, very easy to work with and kept everything pretty straight forward. All questions were answered completely until I was satisfied.

Just took delivery on my new Honda from James Brown at David McDavid Honda of Frisco! I am a repeat customer of both James and the dealership because of the fair and straight forward way that they do business. James worked an incredible deal for my daughter a year ago and I was so impressed with the way she was treated, that when it came time for me to purchase a new car..... I went straight in and asked for James. What a great experience!!

David McDavid in Frisco offers the absolute WORST ...

David McDavid in Frisco offers the absolute WORST service!!! I was there about a month ago and I am STILL livid for the time they wasted. I was scheduled for an issue with my windshield wiper water valve and needed air cabin filters changed. The man who helped me was not very personal and seemed dismissive of my concerns with my car. He mentioned that there s a ~$130 fee for any issue that they find. I said that I was aware of that but if they do find an issue to fix, the fee is waived. He looked perplexed that I knew how things worked. I guess he assumed I was a stupid, young teenager and I had no idea what I was doing. I ve been out of school and have worked as a cancer nurse for 6 years so it was offensive that he talked to me like a child. He did NOT tell me how long the service would take and I guess it was partly my fault for not asking. I used their shuttle service, which was fine. I got to David McDavid at 7am. I didn t get a call for hours and I had to call him myself around 1pm. He said the car was still under diagnosis so he said he would call me right back. He didn t call for an HOUR AND A HALF. And he said that they have to order a part for the windshield wiper water valve. I complained that I ve been waiting for hours with no call and I dropped off my car around 7am. He did apologize for that but he made the excuse that I was a busy day. I was so angry and no one called me from the shuttle service (even though I wrote in a request to be picked up)! I had my boyfriend drop my off around 4:30 (really?!?!). No one gave me any information that I had to pick up my car whatsoever. The man pulled up my car for pick up and said that they don t have the part in stock and that they d call me when it was delivered. He didn t even apologize for the inconvenience of keeping me waiting THE ENTIRE DAY. He also didn t even MENTION the air cabin filters or give me any paperwork. I honestly think they parked my car in the back and cruised through the day. I got in my car and went home to file a complaint with a manager using Honda s online chat option. I discussed with a someone and requested that a manager contact me via phone or email and also described this entire situation. She asked for my contact information and I checked for days for an email or a call. NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME. Did I give my personal information to a complete stranger or do you even have people who work there? I have a copy of the conversation transcript and the person said someone would contact me. That never happened. I will NEVER set foot in that dealership again. I thought that I would get treated well because I bought my Honda Pilot there in 2015. I ve always used Lute Riley for service because it s much closer to where I live..except for that one day because I was hopeful that I would have some customer perks. I was VERY disappointed! I took a day off from work to sit around and wait for absolutely nothing to happen to my car. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I m sticking to Lute Riley from now on.

Exhausting: "SLICK" salesman; games, games, and more games. Sent me an offer, and suddenly the factory installed items were extra. Highest Doc Fee in the area. David McDavid Honda of Frisco exudes a lack of integrity. Had been warned about this from my long time master mechanic.

Purchased the exact model car from Rusty Wallis Honda of Dallas for $4300 less, simply told them my out the door price (including ALL fees and TTL), and we instantly made a deal! No games, no haggling!

I've been going to David McDavid Honda since moving to DFW a few years ago and they have (by far) the best service of any dealership I've ever frequented. I've brought my car in on very short notice more than once, and every time the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I recently had a service adviser, Lance Croft, help me resolve a battery issue with my car in a fraction of the time I had allocated for the errand- needless to say, I'm really happy with the service that Lance and others have provided me, and highly recommend David McDavid Honda to any other Honda owners in the North Dallas area.

Where do I start? Ferris and Gina were instrumental in making sure that my family an I had a wonderful service experience while looking for our new 2020 Pilot. They gave us 1st class service, made sure that our time in the dealership was short and laid out everything for us in writing and exceeded our expectations of pricing. They did not have the exact specs I was looking for in a vehicle, but Gina took her time found the right vehicle and Ferris not only took pictures when he arrived and brought it to the dealership but had it ready to go all detailed for when we arrived. They kept me in the loop the entire time never questioned when I was coming in and never pushed for me to come in until the vehicle was there. I loved that our new pilot was already in the bay waiting for us to look over as soon as we arrived. This is now our 5th Honda we have purchased from this dealership and I just don't think I will buy anywhere else provided the customer service remains as high as it was today. Ferris and Gina thank you again, we absolutely love our new Pilot!

This place is a complete rip off!!! Terrible service and high pressure sales tactics! Stay far away! I went in to get my brakes checked and they offered a FREE diagnostic but was greatly disappointed with their service tech's attitude and customer service. I just wanted my brakes checked but the tech decided to inspect the entire car for 2.5 hours and came back to my with problems which according to him were a hazard to the road. These included whippers, air filter, brake pads, and rotors. The prices he wanted for these services were very high so I asked for my car back and the tech responded by saying that I wasted his time and effort and I should feel bad for not spending money here. I was told up front that this would be a FREE diagnostic and I didn't have to purchase anything. I went to brakes plus in Lewisville and got my brakes and rotors for $200 less.

Just go some place else!

Traded in my old CR-V and bought my new one from Chris Schinabeck. The process was so easy! I was absolutely thrilled with his ethics, integrity and his straight-forwardness. I told him in advance that I would walk out if they started the back-and-forth negotiations. He gave me an idea of what they could do over the phone (as long as my trade-in appraised ok) which impressed me. I went in and picked out my new car. He laid the quote in front of me and it was exactly what he said. Found a car on the lot, got the quote, signed all the papers and was out in 2 hours. The absolute best car-buying experience I've ever had. Thank you Chris Schinabeck!!!

I had a great experience at McDavid Honda of Frisco. Our salesman, Michael Kennedy , was very friendly and he listened wahever I wanted and not forcing at all. Our finance guy, Jae Kim , was very also friendly and informative as well. Highly recommend this dealership.
Also I want to thank to manager who did a great negotiation and helped me to gt Honda Pilot in my decide budget.

Worst experience buying a car ever. They were so focused on making the sale that they didn t listen to what I needed, and weren t respectful of my time. After getting financed with excellent credit and a good down payment I received a letter saying that they couldn t finance my loan. At that point I d had the car for over a month and already made a payment. When I called the dealership they explained that the letter went out in error because of a glitch in the system, and the system at their Honda dealership doesn t speak with the Honda Financial system. I would never buy a car from here again, and highly recommend you don t.

This is our second new vehicle from David McDavid ...

This is our second new vehicle from David McDavid Honda. We knew exactly what we wanted and began calling dealers from DFW to Houston. David McDavid had the rare Molten Lava CRV Touring we wanted and met us on price point. We gave a $500 deposit and the next day we met with Victor in person. He was outstanding. Everyone we worked with was exceptional!! We did not feel pressure from anyone at anytime. As we pulled in and walked into the showroom my son commented that there were not salesmen coming at us. We like this new and fresh approach!
This is our second vehicle from David McDavid Honda and we re hoping to get another for a company vehicle from them soon.
Great customer service with a friendly and professional staff. The best price in Texas and a huge inventory.

I had a great experience this week when I took my 2013 Accord for a battery check as it had died a few times recently. I had made an appointment and was quickly checked in. My advisor Victor was very friendly and courteous and quickly had the battery checked. Turned out it had to be replaced and luckily was still under warranty. Victor himself brought out a new battery and installed it in front of me. Was in out in 10 minutes!! Fantastic service. I will always come back to David McDavid Frisco to service both my Accords, you guys rock!!

When it comes to negotiating a price, big car lots often feel confrontational/adversarial, but that wasn't the case here...Erika worked with me and we came to a very fair price on a Subaru BRZ. I was looking to purchase my first car when I arrived on David McDavid Honda of Frisco on Memorial Day 2013 I was greeted by a salesman who asked if I brought my mother to look at cars with me. It was actually my girlfriend which we both look 20 years old. The comment irritated us both, but I still wanted to look at the new 2013 Civics and test drive a car since I was between another car and a Civic. I was only looking for two features in the Civic, a sunroof and cruise control. We were taken to see a couple Civics without sunroofs and were told that it was too busy to just browse and test drive. By then I had enough with making the salesman feel inconvenienced by his actions and went back inside to find another salesman. Sam Saidian approached us when we arrived inside asking if we had been helped. We informed him that we were told it was too busy for a test drive and he assured us it was not and that he had plenty of time to find what I was looking for and take a test drive. After the test drive i was very pleased with the Civic EX Coupe ride and standard features. I was looking for the same Civic that I test drove, but wanted the color to be dark Grey. Sam searched the inventory and emailed me the specifications of the exact car that I requested. I went in with a monthly payment in mind that I would be happy with and Sam assured me that David McDavid makes deals happen. Do they ever! I drove off the lot that day after negotiating with exactly what I expected to pay. If you are looking to purchase a new Honda, I was very pleased with David McDavid and their very large selection available and had a wonderful first car buying experience. Sam Saidian was able to save a sale when he cared about what I was looking for in a car and was able to find it on the lot. Sam made me feel like he wanted to sell me that car that was best for me, and assure that I was very happy with my purchase.

Great car buying experience with David McDavid and our sales representative Rusty Hill. First new car purchase, after buying used for the past 25 years. Price was very competitive (we had good timing, Honda offered a $4K rebate off MSRP the day before we bought!). Rusty was a pleasure to work with, even lining up different colors of the car we were interested in, in the rain, so we could choose a color. In and out in less than 3 hours, including car selection, loan paperwork, prep, etc. Would recommend.

Hands down the best car buying experience i've eve...

Hands down the best car buying experience i've ever had! I can't find enough good things to say about Serghei Medushevski and Tommy Jackson.
They got me a GREAT deal on my first car. I loved how energetic and friendly they were and how they genuinely cared about me finding the right car.

Tommy meticulously looked through all the used cars to find me the perrrrfect car! and On delivery day, he regularly followed up with the body shop to make sure everything was perfect both inside and outside.
When i saw the car on delivery day, i thought it was a new car :)

Serghei guided me from the moment i walked in to the moment i drove away with my first car :) Our family and friends have been buying cars from Serghei for the last 10 years.

Next time you are shopping for a car, go to David Mcdavid and ask for Serghei or Tommy :)

I was dreading the car shopping process, the dealer visits and the salesman.
I looked at several car dealerships and options (including Honda), but was always happier coming back to the guys at David McDavid Honda of Frisco.

I have never experienced this kind of ease and service in a car buying/leasing experience, before! Everyone here is so nice, genuine and easy to deal with. Even when there are mistakes made, they are skilled at problem solving, always pleasant and effective, just fantastic! Special thanks to Jeremy and Rusty - I am glad you were there for me!

This experience has made me not want to look anywhere else, ever again. This is my Honda place for good! :) Love it!!

We were lucky to get someone who really tried to find us what we were looking for. Masud was excellent in doing so. When we went over next door to sign papers, we were assisted by Hadley which another great representative the company has, went over and beyond to help us understand the basics of course, coverage on the car, and exclusions etc. She was very upbeat and made our experience the best! We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.

My wife and I became customers of David McDavid Frisco in 2005. My wife is into her 4th Honda Accord 2014 and when it finally came time for me to purchase a new vehicle I decided to here as they have always provided excellent service for my wife. I contacted Lexx via the internet told him what I was looking for and the experience was top notch. JP the Sales manager we had dealt with on my wife's 2014 Accord was there to make sure that I got preffered service and treatment. I got a 2014 Civic SI and have had it for a week. This is an awesome fun car to drive!!!!! So if you want great personal service with friendly Sales staff David McDavid Frisco is the place to go. I will upload a picture of my new toy soon! First I want to say that when I first visited David McDavid Honda of Frisco my first impression is what you experience at most dealerships, being hassled and sitting and waiting for hours, only to end up leaving with a day wasted. I have to say that I was impressed hands down by the service that I experienced. From my sales reps all the way to the finance manager. The process was as painless as possible for me. As for my visit to get my first oil change, everything was great. I appreciate being told an eta for the service and being provided with updates via text message with the status of my oil change. I was told that the shuttle could drop me off at the mall or another local shopping area, if I desired. First oil change went as expected. Even received a complimented car wash.

I was driving home from work inmy 2017 Civic on Fr...

I was driving home from work inmy 2017 Civic on Friday night during the recent heavy rain storms when I hit something in the road. Turns out, I bent the undercarriage engine cover and it was "flapping in the breeze". I came home, got on the web and set up an appointment with the service department for the next day. My Service Advisor, Jeff Harris, took a look at the damage and said he might be able to get me safely on the road again without having to spent the $$$ for a new part. (This particular item is not sold separately...you have to buy the entire undercarriage cover, and the cost is substantial.)

Jeff took my car back to the service area, and less than an hour later I was on the road again. Total repair cost was $7.97!

Words cannot express how happy I am with the service I received from Jeff and his service team. I highly recommend Jeff Harris and Honda of Frisco for your auto purchase or maintenance.

One little glitch during closing and they stepped in and took the initiative and all was resolved. For a car purchase experience it was one of the easiest and cleanest that I have experienced. Not overly satisfied. Brought my van in because the lane sensors were not working and showing error. I was told that the sensor was dirty and the repair ($300) was out of warranty. Picked up my van today and problem was not resolved. Waiting on call back from service advisor.

EDIT: You don t judge a company on the mistakes they make, but how they work to resolve them. After my initial review, Colin contacted me and I returned with my van, and truth be told, they didn t fix it a second time! BUT.... throuought this process Colin provided the best customer service I have seen. Come to find out, the tire company we recently had replace a flat tire, replaced it with the incorrect size.

Because of the service Colin provided, my wife went from making me promise to never take our van back there again, to sending Colin cookies as a thank you . Great job making a bad situation a positive review.

If you are going to buy your car from hear please keep tabs on what the sale and financing guy says and the prices that is quoted to you... because they will try to cheat you. This dealership needs to hire honest people!

My service writer, Justin Bach, gets five stars. He is excellent. Check in was rough. I waited a long time to be greeted, and other customers who arrived after me were greeted before me. It took over two hours for an oil change, state inspection, and tire rotation. Thanks for the popcorn, bottled water and Wi-Fi. It made the wait easier. You should have a senior discount for customers over the age of 65. Finally, when I take my Toyota to Toyota of Plano, they will accept any coupon from any Toyota dealer in the metroplex. You should accept all Honda coupons.

I will continue to go to McDavid Honda to continually experience this kind of treatment toward customers. It is a tremendous change from past treatment there when the customer care had left much to be desired.

I appreciate your attentiveness and the fact that even though it was late, cold and rainy and no doubt you just wanted to get home, you showed excellent customer service and cared enough to call us when you noticed we were still in the parking lot mapping out the directions home! We bought our first Honda from Bob Kitner over a year ago. When I wanted to buy another one...only one person to call and one dealer to visit!

Bob is awesome -- had the answers before we had the questions; promptly replied to all our emails and calls; and was ready for us when we walked in the showroom.

The first time we arrived "looking to look" but walked away as proud owners of a CR-V -- the price was too good not to buy on the spot. The buying process from sales to "back office" was just fantastic.

The second time we were in the Pilot market and didn't expect to get much in way of a deal but walked away feeling great about the experience:. Fair price; great people; and they rewarded a return customer. The process from start to finish is centered on the customer.

If I am in the market for a Honda...this is the only place I will look.

I have used this dealership for over 6 years now and can not say enough good things about them. I have done two leases with them and just did another lease, on my third. James Brown in the Fleet lease department was awesome. He got me everything I ask for and did not try to sale me things I did not want. He was great to work with and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new car. He was very pleasant and professional. John Pomroy was the finance Manager that did the final paperwork and made the experience very pleasant and professional. Again I can not say enough good things about this dealership!!! If you are looking to buy a new car I recommend you go here only. I have been to other dealerships and not been treated as great or awesome as I have here, that's why I have always come back.

I have also used the service department for over 6 years and I've had nothing but great service with them. I do not use just one service guy I use whoever can help me and have always had great service.

Keep up the good work David McDavid Honda of Frisco!!!

Really enjoy shopping at David McDavid Honda in Frisco, We bought our last car from the dealership. Got an excellent service. Everyone from the Salesman( Maged Shalaby) who was getting our Used car ready to the Finance manager and the folks in-between were great to work with. Made us feel right at home.
The deal we got was an excellent deal. The price of the car was couple of thousand below what all the other dealerships were selling for plus the experience was priceless

Thanks to Adam Rutledge, the otherwise daunting process of buying a new car was fast and painless. I was more than fairly compensated for my trade in and feel as though I got a great deal on my new car. I came here to just see what my options were and after not finding anything that worked for me Fahad called me a few days later with a truck that just came in that he thought was what I was looking for... and it was! Even with my bad credit the dealer work out payments that worked on a truck that seemed to be made for me. Thank you Fahad and David McDavid!

We started having our previous Honda(purchased out of town)serviced here some years ago. Our experience with service advisor Sergio over those years prompted us to ask him for any recommendation in the sales dept when we were ready to consider a new Honda. He suggested Fahad. We couldn't have had a better choice to show us what we wanted to see & usher us through the initial stages of the deal. We eventually had an agreement with Fahad, that's when Shoaib walked us through & helped us understand all the systems & automated features built-in to these new Hondas. Many thanks to all three of you guys for your patience, knowledge, & good humor getting us through the process.

I took my vehicle there based on a recommendation ...

I took my vehicle there based on a recommendation from a friend. Wow...Very impressed. I thought I knew what the issue was. When I pulled in I was greeted by the service manager and a technician. They asked me a few questions and I drove them around the block. They had it pegged in a few minutes and it wasn't what I thought it was. There wasn't a second where I wasn't being attended to and they got me checked in and had me in a loaner vehicle within minutes. They called me the next day to tell me my truck was ready. The bill was very reasonable and my truck is in tip top shape. Thanks guys! Really happy.
