David McDavid in Frisco offers the absolute WORST service!!! I was there about a month ago and I am STILL livid for the time they wasted. I was scheduled for an issue with my windshield wiper water valve and needed air cabin filters changed. The man who helped me was not very personal and seemed dismissive of my concerns with my car. He mentioned that there s a ~$130 fee for any issue that they find. I said that I was aware of that but if they do find an issue to fix, the fee is waived. He looked perplexed that I knew how things worked. I guess he assumed I was a stupid, young teenager and I had no idea what I was doing. I ve been out of school and have worked as a cancer nurse for 6 years so it was offensive that he talked to me like a child. He did NOT tell me how long the service would take and I guess it was partly my fault for not asking. I used their shuttle service, which was fine. I got to David McDavid at 7am. I didn t get a call for hours and I had to call him myself around 1pm. He said the car was still under diagnosis so he said he would call me right back. He didn t call for an HOUR AND A HALF. And he said that they have to order a part for the windshield wiper water valve. I complained that I ve been waiting for hours with no call and I dropped off my car around 7am. He did apologize for that but he made the excuse that I was a busy day. I was so angry and no one called me from the shuttle service (even though I wrote in a request to be picked up)! I had my boyfriend drop my off around 4:30 (really?!?!). No one gave me any information that I had to pick up my car whatsoever. The man pulled up my car for pick up and said that they don t have the part in stock and that they d call me when it was delivered. He didn t even apologize for the inconvenience of keeping me waiting THE ENTIRE DAY. He also didn t even MENTION the air cabin filters or give me any paperwork. I honestly think they parked my car in the back and cruised through the day. I got in my car and went home to file a complaint with a manager using Honda s online chat option. I discussed with a someone and requested that a manager contact me via phone or email and also described this entire situation. She asked for my contact information and I checked for days for an email or a call. NO ONE EVER CONTACTED ME. Did I give my personal information to a complete stranger or do you even have people who work there? I have a copy of the conversation transcript and the person said someone would contact me. That never happened. I will NEVER set foot in that dealership again. I thought that I would get treated well because I bought my Honda Pilot there in 2015. I ve always used Lute Riley for service because it s much closer to where I live..except for that one day because I was hopeful that I would have some customer perks. I was VERY disappointed! I took a day off from work to sit around and wait for absolutely nothing to happen to my car. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I m sticking to Lute Riley from now on.
