I was there for a free oil change since my car was recently bought from their dealership. When I bought it I was informed that I'll be given 2 free oil changes but there was no written proof for it.

McDavid Honda used to be very good, but not anymore. They don't care about their customers, putting them first-is the last thing on their agenda. This would indicate the decline of McDavid Honda.
I took my car in for an oil change and was meet by Andy Truong. Andy gave outstanding service and took care of all my concerns. I would recommend that for your next appointment, you ask for Andy if you want top notch service.

These guys are awesome to work with! I just purchase a 2018 F-250 from them and I live in Michigan. They made the transaction easy, gave me a fair price and did exactly what they said they would do. Can't ask for much more!
The service was good. Since I had done my homework I knew what to expect as far as price on these cars. They had a good selection of colors which was great. I wanted a black Accord and even though they did not have it, they were prepared to get it shipped for me from all the way Austin for no extra cost. The deal breaker was the trade value of my old car which they could not compare even to Kelly Blue book claiming that it was not in good condition. I finally had to give up after 3hrs of negotiations. Might go back if they call me but not sure if the price is right.
Atmosphere is not as appealing. Feel so cramped in the service advisor area is isn't even funny. I got a special on my oil change, but I think I'll stick to the Lewisville location from now on.
It s a good place just sometimes they make mistakes like last time where they forgot to reset my oil light good thing it s easy to do if u look it up but not even Walmart forgets to do that other than good place
Just had my first personal experience with David McDavid. It was a service recall on my 2008 Honda Accord I recently purchased for a commuter car.
I made fast friends with Kelvin Jones. He was beyond accommodating and when we encountered a difficulty he didn't flinch. Kelvin took immediate care of the problem and exceeded my expectations in a way that left me committed to only returning to him for all my Honda service needs. Should you find yourself in need of Honda or Acura service you would be hard pressed to locate half the service advisor Kelvin will be for you!
Job well done David McDavid and Kelvin specifically. Looking forwards to a long and lasting friendship.
Kelvin is a great service advisor. Explains things in a way so understand and is very accommodating. My car is always clean when done. Prices are fair.

Lance took great care of me and the car yesterday. I made my service reservation on the David McDavid website (worked easily) and took the car in for service Monday morning at 7am. Lance Croft was the service consultant and he explained the possible problem and steps they would take to make sure the car was returned to me in good health. My experience at David McDavid Honda Frisco was an absolute pleasure. I was able to handle most of the transaction via email before ever stepping foot in the dealership so that on the day I arrived to purchase my vehicle I was in and out within an hour and a half. William Tift, in sales , and Jae Kim, in finance, were consummate professionals and treated me with nothing but respect. They did not try to up sell me, misguide me, or play any of the games that often time plague the car buying experience. I would absolutely purchase from this dealership again and would feel confident sending family and friends here knowing they will be treated fairly.

Terrible experience. Manager was cold and unhelpful, but our sales rep had zero people skills and rude.
This dealership sees you as money before they see you as a person. I was thinking that maybe I just had a bad sales person, but the feeling of being treated like a number was apparent at the manager level as well.
We attempted to do an extended test drive like we have done many times before. Wanted to take home an Odyssey to see if it would fit in our garage and the sort. They wasted near 30 mins of our time to instead make a deal without seeing the car to ultimately telling us we couldn t test drive the car.

This is to share my experience at David McDavid Honda on 12/5. I was shopping for a Honda SUV and a junior sales executive greeted me. He gave me some pricing for the models which I was looking for. Finally I was about to leave when another person (looks like his senior) came by.
He pulled the chair and from the word go, started offending.. "Are you here to buy a car? Which car? What model?...... " I told what i'm looking for. Then he told.. "No.. You give your credit details and I will run a check and let you know which car you can get!!!"
Then I told him "Thats not for what I'm here. I'm looking for a specific car and I want to know what price can you offer me for that."
Then his comment " We do not give any pricing. All the pricing details are online. You should check that and then come here to buy the car. " "Are you buying a car now"? I told : No. I'm trying to get your pricing before I can make a decision.
Then his comment - "You should then Go check online"
Then I asked him - "If everything should be done ONLY online, why should I come here.
His response: You can come here. Get a bottle of water, sit here..
By this time, I was furious. I asked him - Can you give me the pricing for the Model that I asked for or not.
He said.. yes.. I can get it. He went inside. I waited for 3 minutes, and left.
The original sales executive, gave me a call after 10min in my mobile apologizing for the incident.
My suggestion to the dealership: If you have a recording of this incident (hope you record your office), keep this secure. Will be a good training material for future sales managers. (On how NOT TO behave to a customer).
My suggestion to Honda: Making great cars is only half the job. But having such sales experience is not going to help you.

Mark Ladd at McDavid Honda was so welcoming and honest. He emailed with me for weeks before my purchase, and was patient and kind throughout. Everyone is so knowledgeable and really care about the customers. Definitely feel like they got me the best deal possible. Great experience!
Nothing against the service, it is a schedule maintenance after all. Coincidentally, my daytime running lamps went out two days after I got service on my car when I went to them for the first time, that was last year. Last week I took my car to them on Monday, spent ~$800 for maintenance, four days later my alternator gave up.
Agreed upon service deal was different than what we were "sold". Fine print to say the least.
This has been an issue every time we needed something repaired which is now becoming more often than any other vehicle we have owned.
We have reached out in person, on the phone and web to find resolve with little to no support. Some companies are just too busy to care about the details. David McDavid is one of them.
This was our first lease experience and will never do it again as the lease ends in June we will move on from what has been an unfortunate consumer experience with this dealership.
Two words Arbitration Agreement is why one should run and not buy from David McDavid Honda of Frisco. Google Arbitration Agreement buying new car and you will immediately know why? Visited this dealership on 7/5/2014 to buy a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. Jesse Garrett the Fleet Manger was exceeding courteous, polite and personable so we negotiated a price. Frist the Finance Manage and then his boss who came along later insisted that I sign the Arbitration Agreement or the deal was off. I refused and walked out. Jesse Garrett called later that evening ask if I could speak to his boss, I asked him to call on 7/7/2014. In the mean time I corresponded with other Honda Dealers in DFW who offered a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L with identical options for $1000 less with no Arbitration Agreement. Would you but from a dealership that tried to rip you off even if they came back later and offered the car for nearly $1000 less with no Arbitration Agreement? This is what Jesse Garrett manage did on 7/7/2014. Jesse Garret is great Sales Manager but the Finance team mates will take you for a ride. I did not buy from David McDavid Honda Frisco. There are honest Honda dealer in DFW like Rustry Wallis Honda that don t make you sign an Arbitration Agreement buy from them.

I bought a Civic from them in May 2015 and when I had a paint issue in September, I could tell right away that there was serious customer service issues. The manager I spoke to (Norman Nguyen) refused to acknowledge the mere possibility that they could have done anything wrong. I literally just wanted to inform him, and buy some touch-up paint, but I couldn't even get that far in the conversation because he was so defensive.
A sales manager contacted me and made things right, so I figured the next time I needed something, I'd give this place another shot.
Big mistake. Came in Today, July 30 2016, to try to get an estimate for my Civic, because I am considering buying a new Civic in the near future. They gave me an estimate that was hilariously low, but this wasn't the issue. I expect this from dealerships; you gotta haggle with them on trade in value. The issue came when I noticed that on the estimate - it says clearly that the estimate was given assuming there were never repairs to the car totaling more than $3,000. However, I had repairs done costing a little over $4k. I came back to try and get the updated estimate with the correct info (not restricting the repairs to $3k.) and the guy I was speaking to REFUSED TO HELP! He said that nobody would be able to update the appraisal, and that the manager who made the offer wasn't available now, so I have to come back Monday. When I told him I wasn't trying to dispute the price, just wanting another copy that showed the estimate with repairs, he sat there and GOT LOUD in front of other customers and accused me of trying to get him to override his boss.
Seriously, this place continues to amaze me with the absolute garbage service they provide, at least in the Used Car Department. I realize I wasn't there to make a sale today, but now I know for a FACT I won't be buying my next car here. Seriously regret ever giving them my business.
I give David McDavid Honda of Frisco a 4-Star rating. First, let me qualify the 4-Star rating. It's buying a car. It can't be a 5-star rating. Having said that... Let me tell you about Mark Ladd. He sold my husband and I a new 2013 Honda Pilot. He is personable, courteous, and made us feel comfortable. He listened to our list of needs and wants and NEVER made us feel pressured. He worked with us to help us get the price we wanted/needed. Everyone in my family has now purchased a car or two from Mark and we intend to again, when the need arises. NEVER EVER will I do business with them. After looking online at a van, I tried to get a hold of someone I had been talking with to see if the vehicle was still available. I was told to just come in. I ended up calling the actual dealership on my way there just to verify that the van was available (I'm a pregnant mother of 2 and time is not something I enjoy wasting) and I was told that it was indeed available. I arrived at the dealership 15 mins after I called and verified and not only had the van I was seeking sold, it wasn't even on their lot (meaning it had been gone for a while).
I was then pointed in the direction of a van that cost $4k more than the one I had my eye on. They didn't have a key for the said van so I wasn't even able to look at it for over an hour. I was informed that the van had x amount of miles and it ended up being double the amount stated. They tried to work a deal, but when I found out that that van was listed for $1k less online, they were no longer willing to negotiate anything. They wouldn't offer me more for my trade in (offered $2500 less than kbb trade in value). The thing that irritates me most is that I clearly told them I would not pay for the sticker price they had it listed at, as I could easily buy a brand NEW van of the same class for $500 more, yet, they kept insisting that they were willing to make a deal. A complete waste of my Saturday. I find it very distasteful the desperation to make a sale when you're lying to get someone in your door. I will not return with my business and I will be sure to inform all those I know of the experience I had with your facility. Definitely not the experience I had in mind.
I have only ever received excellent service from the staff at David McDavid in Frisco. Greg has been my agent for multiple visits and he is wonderful and always finds a coupon for me and has my car done before the estimated time. HIGHLY recommend this Honda site!
This is our second review of the excellent service we ve received from David McDavid. This was a new review of our most recent experience. We had a recall and since we are high risk for COVID we couldn t risk coming in and sitting for hours since we only have one vehicle. Sidney Brisco volunteered to come pick up our vehicle and get the recall completed. Then she returned our car. This makes us and the rest of our family loyal to you.
Had the easiest car buying experience ever. Called to check on the availability of a car, Keith called me back in 30 minutes to let me know the car I wanted to see was available and had everything ready by the time I got there. Negotiations were easy and reasonable, was very satisfied with the final price. Made arrangements to pick up the car and have it inspected by a trusted mechanic before finalizing the purchase. After inspection Keith presented his manager my concerns and worked out a deal that was acceptable to both parties. I was very satisfied with his courtesy and professionalism. Overall this was the easiest buying experience I had, will for sure send friends Keith's way.
Purchased a vehicle from them back in October, there were a few things that needed to be addressed on the vehicle. Come late November they finally had time to get it in the shop, not because they promised to do the work, which I left several voicemails and sent several emails to get it in there to get fixed. However they finally called me because they forgot to inspect the car when I purchased it, so they finally agreed to take care of said issues. They had the vehicle in the shop for a little over a month, and with no contact or updates. While I had the car in the shop I cancelled some warranties and other hoopla stuff they pretty much forced me to purchase to purchase the vehicle. Well now that I have the vehicle back, their fix was to use some electrical tape Instead of actually fixing the issues. I ve also called several times to to figure out where the money is for the warranties but can t seem to get a call back. If you re looking for a place to purchase a vehicle, and get ignored after you ve signed on the dotted line, then this is the place for you, however if you re looking for a good experience I d suggest shopping elsewhere!

I purchased an used car. When I opted for finace option, they changed the agreed price and increased base amount to add up $4000. When i realized that, no one gave me proper respond. They made me wait for hours whenever I visited. Car was also defective. Don't prefer this dealer...cheaters
Purchased an Accord from here recently and it was one of the smoother car purchases I've had. Charles was great. After some back and forth I got a price that worked for both of us and I am very happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend this dealer.
Buying car from David-McDavid Frisco was fantastic . but car maintenance plan is not worth, they convinced me to take this plan but it's waste of money.
My family and I have purchased both new and used cars from David McDavid Honda of Frisco over the last 6 years or so. We always feel like we are treatied fairly and respectfully. We often get our cars serviced there, as well. I appreciate the adequate seating and the free internet access so I can work while I wait for my car. I am certain we will continue to purchase cars from this dealership.
I go to David McDavid every time to service my Honda and absolutely love them! Their prices are no more expensive than any other repair shop. The employees are great and helpful. I always prefer to go here since they do the multi-point inspection every time!
I was in for a new key. I forgot I needed an alignment and they had a special going on for the alignment and got that done as well. Took a total of two hours and was extremely satisfied with the alignment. I ll be back soon to get some of the recommended work done that was presented without pressure. Thanks again

We love McDavid Honda Frisco. We've bought many pilots from them and we use them for all maintenance. Service is fantastic and they stand behind their workmanship and their product. Oh and their complement wifi, fruits and water is an added bonus.

I have gone to David McDavid for my last 4 vehicles. Mark Ladd has been wonderful every time that we have gone. I have referred several family members to him as well, and he has always gotten them what they wanted. I will continue to go back to McDavid Frisco for a very long time.

Bought two cars from this dealer and a lot service work here. Looking back, I 'm not going back. They don't send out recall notices. My CRV now have door actuator problems and just found out Honda offered to replace all of them in 2015. I was not notified by this dealer, even though I had my cars serviced there. They are great at making money, not so much about taking care of customers. Very disappointed! Not going back myself and letting my friends make the same mistake.
Really enjoy shopping at David McDavid Honda. We bought our last car from the dealership. Got an excellent service. Everyone from the guy who was getting our new car ready to the Finance manager and the folks in-between were great to work with. Made us feel right at home. The deal we got was an excellent deal. The price of the car was couple of thousand below what all the other dealerships were selling for plus the experience was priceless
I brought my car into the dealership to have my A/C looked at. Obviously you cannot be in a car in the Texas heat without A/C. Tad Hutchison got me taken care of within minutes of pulling up with no appointment. The parts were ordered and I was told 3-4 days. The part ended up being really hard to get but I didn't mind as I was given a loaner car. Tad stayed in touch me and kept me updated on the progress. Finally, the part came in and was put in that day! My A/C blew cold, car was washed and cleaned out. What more could you ask for in a service center?

I am very disappointed that I had a scheduled appointment for a simple rotate and balance of my tires and waited 3 hours. I will not be buying my tires at David McDavid Frisco in the future.

Carl was my Salesman & I couldn't have asked for a kinder person to have shown me the CRV. I test drove my new car by myself which was a first for me. I usually go with my husband but we had a lot going on & Carl just answered EVERYTHING & SHOWED me everything. I explained that I had a seizure in July & had crashed my Civic into a tree & that we were looking for safety features and he really put my mind at ease showing me what the CRV had to offer. Closing was easy peasy...we couldn't have asked for anything more. You all did an excellent job!

I am not happy with the service, I see Honda Battery for $96.95 in Mcdavid frisco website and they charged me $130, i would not recommend as they took more than 2 hrs for replacing a new battery and Pricing more for the service.
