Everyone there was super nice and very very helpful. I personally worked with deejay and colin and they handled everything and made sure that not only did I like the car but they also made sure it was the right vehicle for me as a starting vehicle.

I purchased a preowned 2009 Saturn VUE and the entire experience was just incredible, from start to finish. I showed up late...just before closing time on a short-day, but Dan still stopped to help show me a car I had found on CarSoup. Dan confessed to me that he already had another customer who was in finance, so he was understandably unable to show me a second vehicle. But that didn't stop the teamwork. He kindly left me in Bob Isselman's hands and Bob took me through the rest of the process that day and the following day. Dan also continued to check in on us throughout the process to ensure we were doing well; I thought this was some serious, over-the-top, customer service, considering we were probably no longer "technically" his customers. In a world where salespeople are competing with one another for commissions, there was an extraordinary show of teamwork and concern for my needs over their own. I was completely impressed. Not to mention all they did to get me financed the next day and on the road with no hassle, no down payment, no trade-in, and a great deal! Oh, and the owner of the lot coming out to ensure I was happy and all was well before I drove off the lot...Nice touch! I seriously fell in love with this dealership. I have already recommended it on my Facebook page and personally to at least a half-dozen of my friends and relatives. I will admit, I'm a real hard-nose for excellence in customer service, but your team there provided me with a truly above-and-beyond service experience with no pressure and no hard-sell nonsense. Thank you all so much! I love my new-to-me car! :)

I drive 100 miles to have them service my vehicle because I know I can trust their work. Friendly and professional service department. Kept me updated on repairs being done and the wait time. Waiting are stocked with coffee, ice water and donuts. I recommend you guys put in a popcorn machine.

Wow!
I found what looked like a good deal on the internet (How good you ask, well I flew from Atlanta to St Louis to take advantage of the offer) at Dave Sinclair Buick/GMC. I met sales representative Raphael Price over the phone and he could not have been more helpful. He arranged the sale so that all I had to do was show up, sign some paperwork, learn about my new 2015 GMC Sierra and drive home to Atlanta. Everything that he told me over the phone actually happened when I arrived in St Louis. This was, by far, the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever experienced. Thanks to everyone who made this experience so pleasant. You folks at Dave Sinclair Buick/GMC are the best! I will tell everyone I know to give you a try before buying their next GMC or Buick.

I have been in the service end of the business for...

I have been in the service end of the business for over 30 + years. I have dealt with Dave Sinclair Sr. many times over the years and always received great service and customer care. I came to the body shop a week ago for an objective estimate on my 15 malibu, that was side swiped on the highway. The receptionist is great but the blonde who runs this department is horrible on customer service. I was rudely run off because i didnt have an insurance company.
So, I came back today because of daylight savings time on Monday i missed my appointment. The receptionist is great and rescheduled it for 3/12 at 9. I got here at 9 05 and was left sitting in the waiting room after seeing and speaking to the adjustor from yesterday till 10 am. Than the same blonde comes out and tells me they aren't a preferred company for American Family. I understand, i would still like an estimate, and the entire time she had no intentions of writing the estimate. So, she proceeds to call the adjustor and returns with a service employee. I guess she needed a witness, and literally speaks to me like i am a child. Hands me a a copy of the body shop estimate that wss written by an individual company and proceeds to explain, that maybe i didnt get this or didn't understand the estimate that was written. I said yes i did, but i would still like the dealer body shop to write an estimate for my car. She says I can,and proceeds to tell me what she will do is make me a copy of the estimate written by the other private body shop and here is ur estimate. Once again treating me like a child. I had fully intended to have my car repaired at the dealer with Factory parts.
I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOUND IT SO DIFFICULT TO GET AN ESTIMATE WRITTEN BY THE DEALER. I FULLY UNDERSTAND THE OTHER ESTIMATE IS A GUIDE THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW, BECAUSE THEY ARE AN AMERICAN FAMILY PREFERRED BODY SHOP. ALL I ASKED FOR WAS AN OBJECTIVE ESTIMATE, BECAUSE THEY ARE GM FACTORY EXPERT TECHS TO LOOK AND AT MY VEHICLE IN CASE SOMETHING WAS MISSED. LIKE I SAID I WAS NEVER SO RUDELY TREATED AND SPOKEN DOWN TO IN MY 30+ YEARS IN THIS BUSINESS. I, ALSO, NEVER FOUND IT SO DIFFICULT TO RECEIVE AN ESTIMATE. IT SEEMS LIKE IF THE BODY SHOP IS SO POORLY OPERATED THE SERVICE AND THE SALES DEPARTMENTS MUST BE THE SAME!!
I GAVE IT A 1 STAR, ONLY BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO GIVE IT A ZERO...WHICH IS WHAT THEY TRULY DESERVE!!
WHERE ARE THE DAYS OF DAVE SINCLAIR SR, WHERE DIGINITY AND RESPECT WERE GIVEN AND RECEIVED AS A CUSTOMER AND AS A BUSINESS!!

DeeJay was great he was very polite, professional and NOT pushy. He listened to what I needed and helped me get the deal I needed. The sales part of the transaction was fast but I had to wait a long time to get into the Finance guy but overall the best experience buying a car I have ever had. Thank you Dave Sinclair!

I cannot say enough good things about this dealership and their service! Our salesman Raphael Price was THE BEST and MOST informative rep we've ever had. Even though I went to look at a specific vehicle, he gave me a full run down on all of the features, all of the specs, and all of the offerings. JP in Finance went above and beyond as well. Cannot recommend them enough!

Purchased a car last month and I have to say everyone I worked with couldn't be more professional. The sales associate I dealt with , Andy Babor, was prompt in returning calls, and very informative. He helped out in making arrangements for an after market add on, and really went out of his way to make sure our car buying experience was positive. If you are looking for a new or used car (and they have other makes on the used car lot) I would highly recommend this dealership.

The service manager who took care of my family was extremely inconsiderate, disrespectful, lacked communication and all around ignorant.

EDIT: This review was not intended for any attention but Dave Sinclair- Andy Wahl Service director reached out to my husband who had dealt with the issues. He sincerely apologized and asked how to make it right. The costumer service is great!! We are looking forward to working with Andy and preventing future issues!

Getting my truck checked out was painless. Check engine light came on, so I called my buddy Eric. He got me in, diagnosed, and out in a rental pretty quickly. When I went to pick up my truck the next day, he even ran it through the wash because it was pretty dirty when I brought it in.

My issue was fixed, and the truck is running great again.

Great employees both in the showroom and service areas. Scott Sandvoss was extremely helpful both days we were there. J.P Detwiler was friendly and professional as well, but should not be allowed to drink Red Bull at work! Very fast talker, but ran all the numbers to find us the best finance deal. Ran all the paperwork efficiently, answered all our questions.

I have to say that buying my new 2017 GMC Sierra 2500HD from Dave Sinclair Buick GMC was one of the easiest and best experiences I have ever had. I can't even express how glad I am that I went with Dave Sinclair over Laura Buick in Collinsville. I'll never step foot in Laura's lot again after dealing with that cockiness and neither will my family who are die hard GM and live in Collinsville.
I'm currently working with Dave Sinclair's service department where I am also very pleased. I was a bit worried after I lifted my truck in how I was going to be treated, but that feeling is gone. My service advisor Eric Enright is on point. I even had the pleasure of working with John Sinclair and Tony Caputa. Both are by the book and will go out of their way to see that you have been taken care of. If they say they're going to call you, or take care of getting something setup, it will happen. In short, everyone really does go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. To be honest, I was actually shocked. I've been around the world and back multiple times and never had service this good anywhere. I will most definitely be doing more business with Dave Sinclair Buick GMC.

**UPDATE** - John Sinclair, Service Manager, reach...

**UPDATE** - John Sinclair, Service Manager, reached out to me and offered to "make everything right" (their slogan). While the warranty repairs were already completed by another dealership, he did ask for the opportunity to go back over my truck with another coating of the paint protectant and detail the inside. John personally looked at my truck and had me point out the areas of concern. He set me up with Eric in the Service Department and they both made sure everything was buffed out and looked good. The hood had a stubborn stain on it so they wet sanded it to make it look like new. John offered to pick the truck up from my work or give me a loaner so I wouldn't have to be going out of my way for them to detail it.

As far as them not being willing to look into help from GM on the warranty work, John said that should not have happened and gave me his cell number to call him directly if I need anything in the future. I appreciate them taking the time to do what's right here and even going beyond to make the truck look like new again (also gave me a touch-up paint bottle for my chips). Adjusted my 1 star rating to 4 stars.

**ORIGINAL POST**

CAUTION - While their used vehicle prices are really good, you are dead to them after you purchase. Here are 2 of the issues I've dealt with:

Issue #1 - I made the mistake of buying their $700 protection plan with my truck. I always passed on this stuff in previous purchases, but I fell for it this time. It comes with an exterior paint coating that gives a mirror like finish, but mine started fading in some spots not too long after purchase. I spoke to Bob (Eiseman I think?) about it and he said they don't go back over that coating, regardless of fading. I remembered the salesman (Andrew) sold me on the package because he said anything could happen to the interior, even if it's my fault, and it would get repaired or replaced under the protection plan. After getting denied by Bob on the exterior treatment, I went back through the plan contract and sure enough it's got all kinds of print to get them out of repairs. The salesman told me I could accidentally cut my seat and it would be repaired or replaced. Interesting enough, he didn't mention the contract language that states the punctures are only repaired if they're smaller than 1/4" in diameter and rips are only repaired if they're smaller than 1". Also, exterior repairs will not exceed $250. What a crock.

Issue #2 - About 8 months after I bought my 2016 GMC Sierra Denali from them I started experiencing engine problems at 70k miles. The power train warranty for that year is 3 years/60,000 miles. At 70k miles I understand I'm out of warranty, per the mileage, but I asked if I could get some assistance from GM since the truck was only 2 years old at that time. I did not expect them to cover my entire bill, just look into any help at all. They denied any help and said I would have to pay out of pocket for everything, that included $165/hr to diagnose it and another $30+/day to rent a loaner vehicle from them. I called Sapaugh Buick GMC down the highway and they were more than happy to look into my case. They got me in a free loaner vehicle immediately and got GM to cover over 90% of my repair costs ($6,000 for a top-end engine rebuild). I did not expect that much help, so clearly they went above and beyond.

I will not be returning to Dave Sinclair for any service or purchases. I have referred co-workers and family to Sapaugh because they were willing to take the time to look into a customer's case. My in-laws went to Sapaugh when they needed a new vehicle due to my great experience there. They walked out with a brand new GMC Acadia and enjoyed their time there.

We went down to purchase a 2014 Yukon and my wife didn't like it. Colin was the saleman working with us he showed us what else they had on the lot and we fell in love with the 2013 Denali and he was able to work a deal with us and we drove it home. He is a great salesman he was very nice to us and made us feel right at home and I know if in the future if we or someone we know plans to trade we will send them his way.

They took the time to explain everything in detail about the process as well as making sure I was comfortable while waiting. I love the dealership, it is where I bought my car and where I will continue to go back. But I had a few issues with my service today, however when Steve the service manager contacted me he expressed his apologies and explained that the issues were not all my service advisors fault. Which, now I understand. Steve also has resolved the other issues I had that were out of the service advisors control. I will definitely continue to come back for service!

I arrived a bit early for my appointment but they saw me right away and I was out the door within an hour of arriving!! They even washed the outside of my vehicle.

I would have liked to give the Dealership a 10 and 5 stars but they don't have Saturday Service hours. That is the only downside i have experienced.

In order to make an appointment for service work, I had to take time off from work to do it.

It was raining the night before my appointment, so I wrote all my info on my own envelope, put my key in it and then placed it in your envelope & left my car in line. The next day when I hadn't heard from you, I then called the service dept and they said they had no record of my car or keys! It seems that b/c I didn't fill out the front of the envelope, in the rain, my envelope was just tossed on a desk & my car parked w/ nothing being done!!! That is totally irresponsible!. Obviously you had my keys & were able to move my car, so why no one looks to see why my name was on the books???? I was very disappointed with your service dept. I'm grateful they waved the oil change charge, but I had to ask & no offense, except for the secretary, no one in service seemed at all concerned!

We worked/talked to 3 people the entire duration we were at the dealership. Rob Fulmer was our salesman, but Dan Sinclair welcomed us to the dealership and we immediately felt comfortable. We waited a few minutes for Rob to come to the building and Dan actually showed us the Enclave they had in the showroom and told us his personal experiences and the things he loved about the car. We even felt more than comfortable with our finance person, Dave Sinclair, right away. Between the three gentleman we worked with, we are very appreciative of this dealership and the kind family members that run the business so well! We will definitely be going back there if we are in search of any Buick/GMC vehicle in the future. And I could not love my Enclave any more! Highly recommend.

Tim was an awesome salesman; patient, relatable, and honest. Dave Sinclair III blew me away entirely. I needed a vehicle, and because of my poor credit I knew I had to go new. He battled lenders to find me the best deal and even found a way to extend my warranty. On top of this, he took time to explain my credit to me and how to improve it going forward. He didn t have to do anything other than get me the loan, but he put a plan in place for me to get me back on track. I couldn t be more grateful for their work or more pleased with my new truck, and the best part is that I m now on a path to rebuilding my credit thanks to Dave s help. I will definitely be returning to them for any of my vehicle needs going forward.
