For the second time in the last 8 years we relied ...

For the second time in the last 8 years we relied on Darvin Furniture for ALL of the furniture in a refurbished part of our home (the basement this time). Our Sales Professional Kevin Jones and designer Juliana Barr were excellent through and through. Always patient, always courteous and very helpful. We are grateful that we relied on Darvin again after our great experiences with Maurice Branch and Bonita Kopisch over 8 years ago! Thanks you Darvin!

This is a very large store. They seem to have everything. Service is very good. Prices are on the high end for mid grade furniture but the quality is excellent. I have made several purchases here.

I was greeted at the door by Stella, it didn't take long to realize it was my lucky day getting a kind, knowledgeable and hard working sales associate. I told her from the get go I didn't like shopping for furniture, she said don't worry I'll help you, boy oh boy did she ever! I bought a complete living room down to tables and a rug as well as a dining room table. I'm beyond excited to get my furniture, more importantly I'm so grateful to have Stella help me through the process. I highly recommend her, she's a lovely woman and excellent at what she does!

Was greeted at the door and asked if I had anything specific I was looking for. When I explained what o wanted, the salesman said there were some great deals in their clearance area and pointed me on the correct direction. Found exactly what I wanted at a price well below what I had budgeted. A sales lady asked if she could help and got everything written up and scheduled quickly!

Ordered a electric lift recliner as a gift online. Had many questions initially. The online chat associate Ethan was super helpful. He answered all my questions which helped me make the decision to place the order. Was handed off to an associate Linda at the store. Linda actually went and tried the chair out for me and assured me it was of good quality, comfortable and a good buy. Am very happy so far...waiting for delivery.

Great experience. Sales associates were available immediately and helpful. Made personal recommendations. Joan helped us find our couch and Lisa helped with finding the bed. Kept us within budget and finding sales. Very impressed. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

This place is absolutely huge now. 9 years ago I bought a massive sectional and I have pets. It cost a small fortune, people joke that I bought a Buick, but nine years later that sofa is still looking good and works perfectly. And it gets aged lot of use!
So I was going in looking for a small wall-based dining table roughly 6 ft by 2 ft. I found exactly what I was looking for, except one little thing, similar item was at Bob's furniture next door for $299 and this one was $3,700. I forgot they are definitely not a discount furniture store but you do get what you pay for I guess.

We found an affordable all leather grain recliner set at a very reasonable price; they have an outlet and a discontinued section for those more affordable or hIdden treasure pieces (like Anne described it).

Darvin is an exceptional furniture store! I don t know if people are aware that they have an interior designer that will come to your home and assist you with your room design. I was fortunate to have Julianna assist me with all my furniture choices. I am moving into a townhouse and needed several rooms of furniture including an office/guest bedroom. She helped me with living room, dining room, bedroom and office furniture. It is a daunting task especially when I don t think I have a gift for decorating! Julianna was patient with me and provided me with options where I felt I was truly making informed decisions. I can t wait to have the furniture in my home! And my salesman, Marty Garber is amazing! He too was very patient with me, especially since I changed my mind a couple times on my choices. Darvin has very high quality furniture for a reasonable price, and they have zero percent financing which is extremely helpful when purchasing so much furniture at one time. I highly recommend Darvin furniture to anyone for any room in your house! You won t be disappointed!

We love Darvin!! We are repeat customers and needed furniture in this crazy time. We contacted Darvin & our salesman, Pete C., was so helpful. He took pictures & texted them to us. He laid on a mattress to let us know how it felt when we aren t able to do it ourselves. Desperate times call for desperate measures & he stepped up to the plate. We had a daybed delivered and the room wasn t available where we wanted so I wanted the people to put it together anyway, I wasn t home so they left it in my kitchen unassembled. Darwin did. sent to assemble it, but the slacks were missing so the mattress as been sitting on the floor where my granddaughter had to sleep on it on the floor. Today is the second week and still no slacks. I called yesterday and the rude administrator said they will call back with a delivery of the slacks. Darvin has to order from the manufacturer so who knows when. Question do you think they have any slacks at Darvin I can use!!!!

We came into the store not exactly knowing what we wanted to buy for our living room.

After sitting on a few models, Linda helped us find a couch that felt comfortable. But more importantly for us, she helped us identify what style we wanted. She explained different things to look at on each couch, and we were able to find a couch that felt great and looked great.

She patiently helped us pick out matching fabrics and walked us through all the steps.

I d definitely recommend shopping here if you re looking for furniture.

Have bought several items for our home here over the years starting with our master bedroom set - a Broyhill in 2001. Still have that set and still love it. Most recently bought a dining room table and chairs. Not super impressed with the finish on this set - a pizza box basically melted off the finish where the pizza sat during dinner. However Darvin s extended care plan saved us - the couldn t fix it so the replaced the table. The store is huge and they have a ton to choose from no matter what you re looking for. The sales people and staff are always friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. There s a reason Darvin s been around so long.

We ve never felt pressured to make a purchase or rushed. I ve been to several furniture places and Darvin has by far been my favorite.

I will not be purchasing anymore furniture from Da...

I will not be purchasing anymore furniture from Darwin. I received trouble customer service from them. I purchased a chest to match my bedroom set that I had gotten from them recently. I made the purchase on July 20th. I was told that my chest would be in by August 8th or 16th. Both of those dates came and went and I didn t receive a call or any type communication from my sales person. So I went to the store to find out what was going on with my purchase and the sales person was in apologetic about his lack of communication and gave me a new estimated delivery date of September 6. Again that date came and went and I received no chest and no call or communication from the store at all. I even gave them until the end of September before I went back in the store to request my order be canceled and a full refund. I was told by a manager named Rich that he would personally call the distributor and find out what was going on with my order so that I wouldn t cancel it. He lied and I never heard back from him. It was now October and I still didn t have a chest that I paid for. When I went back in to cancel my order again 2 days later another manager informed me that they did have my chest and that he would take it out of someone else s order so that I could get it delivered on that coming Tuesday at 3pm. I took a half a day at work that day to wait on my chest to be delivered and guess what....it never came I never received a phone call or anything to confirmation from Darvin. I was very disappointed with the trouble customer service that I received. I went back to them because I had purchased my bedroom set from them and the experience was good. My second experience left a bad taste in my mouth about them. I would have respected them more or understood if they would have told me that my item was back ordered from the beginning

Found exactly what I needed with the assistance of the manager, Steve Gulias. Even though it was very busy and no one to write the sale up, he took time to do it so we would not have to wait. While he was on line completing our sale, he was able to answer questions from another salesman . He remained calm and was very accommodating. If I had a business I would hire him .

Total nightmare with warranty service. First couch...

Total nightmare with warranty service. First couch had to be replaced due to the fact that the leather discolored within a month and this model is no longer produced. Second couch was delivered with a broken frame it was a floor model. Warranty sent out a repair tech and then a month passes with no update. Today I find out a new frame was ordered and it will be another month. No update, no call as to what was going on just me sitting looking at a piece of useless furniture that can't be sat on for a month plus. Not the type of after sale service I expected from Darvin.

My salesperson was extremely helpful in selecting right rug to compliment sofa I had. She spent time exploring various table choices and agreed that I needed time to consider final choice. Loved that there was absolutely no pressure to make decision. Would definitely return to Darvin and certainly seek out same salesperson.

She was amazingly informative and expeditiously moved us through the process ( per mine and my husband s request as we had ice cream in the car and didn t want it to melt:). What a positive experience from order to delivery! The salesperson, Candace was AMAZING! She took measurements for me and sent me photos since I didn't want to come into the store due to Covid-19. When I mentioned that I would like to have an accent chair, Candace jumped on it! She found me options, sent me photos and helped me pick the perfect companion chair to my sectional couch. The delivery team was AMAZING as well. The guys were so polite, speedy and took care not to ding my walls or the pieces. They were great! Reaching the store is difficult but nothing a little patience couldn't resolve. Im delighted with the purchase!

Ordered a bed and a chest in August 16 of 2020, was not in stock so they estimated it to arrive at the warehouse within a month due to covid, never arrived, called and spoke with someone that said it had been delayed until October, called in October, and was delayed until November, called in November and it had arrived, only the bed though, not the chest, went to the warehouse to pick up the bed, took it home and as I opened up the boxes, the bed frame came with a big scratch, called customer service 3 days in a row and nobody ever answered so I let it slide, waited for the chest, because it was delayed to December and today is December 28th and i have called several times today and nobody answers, GREAT! So if you plan on buying merchandise soon be ready for it to arrive sometime in 2022! Great customer service by the way!

We won furniture and drove almost 50 minutes to get some more information on the furniture. We were told we would have to pay the taxes and delivery. When we asked to see if they had something similar to the furniture we were shown a couch and told that it was the same but our winnings would have power recliners. We left the store undecided whether or not to accept the furniture. We again drove to the store after we wanted it and we were also looking for more items to match the new furniture. Once again we were told the furniture would have power recliners. Last Tuesday, our furniture was delivered after we paid for more furniture, taxes on the winnings and delivery. The furniture does not have power recliners. We have now been calling every day to get some answers on what can be done to compensate for this mistake. So far, we have just gotten the run around about the problem.

Recently we purchased a sectional sofa from Darvin as it was on sale. After visiting a showroom and checking out the sofa, which was on display, we talked with the sales person and he specifically mentioned what you see here is what you get but when we got the sofa, the one chair was missing! Our mistake was we trusted the sales person John O'Bryan and the Darvin Furniture and never imagined that they will play such a cheap trick on us. We specifically asked the sales person John that does it comes with 4 pieces as shown here on display right? and he repeatedly assured us yes, this is what you are getting it but in reality when we got the sofa, it was only in 3 pieces. We felt that we got cheated. The sales person should give the customer all information about the product but in this case he not only misguided but totally lied to us. When I called them, he referred me to look at the original purchase receipt and did not accepted his fault. I tried calling the store manager but still no response yet. We are shocked to get such a rude treatment from Darvin. I would like to inform other buyers to verify your purchase order carefully and do not trust at all what the sales person is telling you. We learned our lesson and we are definitely not going to buy our next furniture from Darvin ever again!

The sale person Jay was right to the point when we asked questions. Very professional and knowledgeable!
We spend no more than 35 minutes and brought the leather couch and loveseat.....
Extremely very friendly relaxing place to shop.
Trust me - we went shopping to different furniture stores, prices are better than others stores we scope out.
Plus they love our veterans - show your veteran ID or DD214. You be glad you did.....

While we won't receive our furniture for another m...

While we won't receive our furniture for another month, we can say we received outstanding service from Steve, the second floor manager. He took a lot of time comparing the different types of furniture we were considering and was helpful in answering all the questions we had. Our biggest concern was delivery as the furniture needed to be delivered to our lake house which is over 80 miles away. Steve provided a very reasonable cost for delivery, thus eliminating our concern. The next day my daughter and her husband purchased a kitchen set and leather sectional and they, too, were happy with their purchase.

Almost every piece of furniture in our entire home is from Darvin. This evening we bought our toddler s new bedroom set. This was our first encounter with Jeff. He was patient and polite, as our toddler started getting antsy. Highly recommend everyone at Darvin. If only we could have gotten a little extra discount for being frequent returning customers who refer our friends and family here.
