Candice was very professional and helpful. She made us feel comfortable and appreciated. I think it s not as easy to go into a store and just buy something, I think it takes people like Candice to really help make decisions and feel confident about it. She explained everything very well to us and all of our options. Very great service.

This was our second visit there. The first time we told the salesman (Oscar) what we wanted to order. He said he d call us and never did. We went back today. Met a saleswoman (Connie) who insisted that she couldn t make a deal on the bedroom set we wanted . Then we met Corey Mullens. Very nice young man. In fact we liked him so much we just ordered everything we needed instead of waiting. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Got us in and out. Thanks Corey. Corey gets 5 stars. The other 2 sales people we met would get 0.
J. Witt is a veteran sales person at its finest. We were in and out in 2 hours with everything we needed and wanted. Most importantly did not and I repeat did not over salesperson us to death. Gave us space to to free range the building. We left completely satisfied!!!

I've been shopping at Darvin for over 45 years. They have the best quality furniture in the Chicagoland area. I've been to other stores but I stopped years ago the quality is not there nor the pricing. Darvin beats them all by far. Quality and good investment for your money. I highly recommend them.
Do not purchase extended warranty. Our couch is only 14 months old, multiple problems. Including my 2 yr old getting hurt on a piece of wood sticking out of the couch that should not be there. No one is helping us. People keep coming back and referring people to business's because of overall good service/product. No one has returned that "great service" I thought we had at the time of purchase.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!! I purchased a sectional the end of June and I was told by the sales representative Chrissy that I would have it mid August. Mid August comes around and I have no product. Next I am told mid September. Here we are in September and now I am being told end of October. I specifically asked when I purchased "There would be no way my product delivery could go past September right"? They told me no way. So far I have spoken to the manager Jacqueline and was told that "Darvin would work with me". When I called, I was told the only thing that they can do is refund me my money. I understand that COVID can affect delivery times from your manufacturer but news flash, COVID was alive and well during June when I made my purchase. Am I to wait another 2 months for the manufacturer to just cancel? Wait five months???
Go to Bob's in Orland, I also purchased a couch from BOB's the same time I purchased this sectional and was told the exact same delivery time. Bob's followed up with their word. DARVIN WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY and rip you off and waste your time. Basically a SCAM company. Please train your employees on proper customer service. They do not deserve a star at all
Deliverymen came not only without booties but NO FACE MASKS! Like Darvin Furniture. Great selection. Fair prices. Very disappointed with today's delivery. I had put off delivery because of my concerns of COVID. Wish I had waited longer.
We were looking to furnish our new lake house and had a great experience at Darvin. We were fortunate to work with an amazing associate. He helped us without being aggressive or pushy at all!!!
I could have easily given this review 5 stars if it had not been for several factors. We are 71 years old, while our sales person spent a good amount of time with us but we felt rushed, as he walked and took us from area to area he walked so fast we could not keep up with him. It could be he's just a fast walker, I felt he was not meeting the needs of his customer, which was walk slower. We purchased 2 end tables, a coffee table and a sofa table. We had full intent to come back and purchase a TV Stand that matched it all the next day if we liked the look of the tables in our home in which we did. This is where he really lost us he took us back to the back counter to pay and dropped us like a rock. No thank you, no I will look forward to you coming back tomorrow get that TV stand ordered, nothing, crickets, just turned and walked away. Then at the payment counter we informed Mary Lou that we had gotten a $300 Visa to spend there when we bought a huge ticket adjustable bed earlier in the year. We had misplaced it and could not find it, but had called the company and they had told us it was tied to our past order and gave us the reference number to use. When we told her we wanted to use that as payment she said if its lost, its lost putting up her hands to us like stop right there, before ever letting us explain how we were told it could be handled. After she gave our reference number to another I assume manager it was expedited in less that 3 minutes. The whole attitude was so unnecessary. We will have to go back to Darvin to buy the stand, as they are the only game in town, but I will not use the salesman that I did today!
I just went into Darwin for the first time today after going to 3 other stores. I got what I wanted in my price range and saved $100. Just waiting on my delivery.
Diana was a very helpful sales rep! She took our ideas and helped us find exactly what we was looking for with multiple choices to pick from and decide. She was very knowledgeable and informed about the many different items and it was a great overall experience. Would highly recommend her and the Darvin store to many others as well.
Do not buy from them! Day of delivery they were early which is great! But unfortunately I didn t have time to inspect it before they left because I let them in and had to run back to work. The couch has ripples in the fabric, a pucker button is broken off and the other chair has a spring busting out of the bottom. It s almost 2 weeks and I can t get the customer service warranty department to respond, they keep telling me to email them the photos and videos and then respond with a generic email a day or 2 later. I ll definitely go back to Ashley, I should ve known better. Never had a problem with Ashleys furniture and I ll deal with the wait because every other company has a long delivery time now.
We've been shopping at Darvin for YEARS! We will always start with Darvin and ALWAYS end up buying from here. Our salesman was Jeff he was very helpful and answered all our questions. We will be back for any Future buys!
All the workers at Darvin were very helpful and willing to search up what I needed to make my big move as a new independent adult. I found very affordable furniture and great deals.
Mark was very attentive and listened to what I was looking for. Even though I already knew what I was looking for, he took me right where the youth bedroom sets were at. Darvin has always had great quality furniture at reasonable prices. I m glad I was able to find everything I was looking for!
One of, if not, the biggest store I ve even been in during my life! We went one day and then came back two days later after we gave it some thought. We narrowed it down to two bed sets, and once we said go, Phillip from Darvin hammered out our deal in no time! Excited to receive our next bed set! Will return here for future furniture needs.
I would have given 5 stars, but it took me 2 days to get through to a real person even after setting up an appointment time online, which never happened. Once I connected with a sales person, things went smoothly.
I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and I got just that. No pressure from an extremely friendly staff! Usually you run across salesmen who just want to push products on you, I really felt at ease here. This place is a gem with quality products and I m sure that I will be back for more purchases. If you are on a budget, I suggest checking out their outlet area upstairs for the beautiful furniture, rugs and decor. I was so happy, I didn t want to leave.

Drove from Portage Indiana because my clients kept mentioning Darvin Furniture. When we walked in, my husband and I were in complete shock of how beautiful and elegant the Orland Park one was. After looking at every item on the lower level we headed to the top floor and came across furniture that would be a perfect fit for our 3,000 sq foot home. Debbie Cline assisted us and she was beyond fantastic!! Right away her kindness sparked conversation and we sat and laughed and conversed until our paperwork was done. We will definitely be back for dining room, kitchen and basement furniture for our home theatre. We were very excited about the price of the furniture we chose and the delivery time.
Great selection of furniture. I've always known Darvin to be the go to place for top of the line furniture. Whether bedroom, living room or dining room set, it will last a long time. At reasonable prices, too, and financing options available to fit your needs.

Darvin has everything you need for your home except the kitchen sink (unless I missed that dept)! Great customer and sales service (Peter Mark is the BEST), pricing is great and the delivery team is wonderful!
EDIT: Darvin reached out and gave us great solutions to the issues we ve been having with receiving our merchandise. They were extremely helpful and nice through the whole thing. The only thing is I wish we had had this communication earlier in the process. Thanks for reaching out and fixing the problem.
My mom has always gotten furniture from Darvin and I have been a fan for awhile. However, we ordered a couch in May and are still waiting for it. There s no communication. I m told an approximate time they expect the merchandise and when I don t hear anything I call to ask about it and they tell us another month. Now they re saying another two months! I understand Covid being a factor, but the runaround is ridiculous.
Ordered a couch June 3rd... still not here as of October 17th and we were just advised that the new expected arrival date is December 15th... completely unacceptable! Darvin should have cancelled our order months ago, instead they re treating our down payment as a loan for the unforeseeable future and continue to play games. Good luck getting in contact with them as well! 100% do not recommend, your experience will be horrible. Thank you Darvin for forcing my family to use an air mattress as a couch for the past 5 months!
Ken is by far the best salesman of all time. He took the time to answer all questions and really was super knowledgeable on all products. Hands down the best Darvin experience!!!
Jay Witt greeted us when we entered Darvin and saw is checking out some high end furniture. He pointed out the qualities of what we were looking at and offered other similar choices. Then he left us alone so we could shop on our own. From time to time we ran into and he asked if he could be of any help.
After we had chance to look at several different ensembles, he was there to answer our questions. As a result we bought a dining room grouping and a living room suite.
Jay explained supply and delivery situations and helped us understand the timeline for our orders. We got what we wanted for a fair price and actually enjoyed the whole process. We will return to Darvin for any future furniture needs. We will also make a point of looking for for Jay Witt.
Love this place! I have bought almost all of my furniture from here and have furniture that was handed down to me that are 20 yrs old and still in great condition! Love the family and the products they offer!

My 86 year old mom wanted a rocking chair or glider to replace her poor dead recliner. We were met with a very capable salesman, Mr. Fernando Flores, who assisted us in her selection. We found a very nice glider with a gliding ottoman. Momsy is very happy. We also found her a lovely lamp for her bedroom. We are very pleased with our experience at Darvin. Thank you.
My go to furniture store. However; nowadays I must ask... Is it made in China? Many products years ago use to be made in the USA. Now.... Not so much. With the chemicals in most products from overseas and being conscious of California prop 65... Must ask and the selection becomes smaller and smaller.
Kevin was great! He helped us purchase a sofa and loveseat without pressuring us AT ALL. Never followed us, never pushed us one way or another, and was able to answer all and any questions we had. I highly recommend working with Kevin.
Delivery says 8-10 weeks is is very unfortunate, but blaming this on COVID.
My husband and I were hesitant about making a big purchase and we decided to go to more than one furniture store before making a final decision. However, Charles in the Mattress Department was excellent. He helped us to stay within our budget and even with our new bedroom furniture purchase. If you re interested in buying new bedroom furniture or mattresses Charles is the Man!

(My issue plus how to get a better price) I have wasted so much time with Darvin and their Finance Company (TD Bank) - it's actually a credit card you apply for but are not told until after you are approved. I decided I must share my experience so you won't have to go thru the same. Be careful, they will not post payments correctly and most likely ding your credit. I have excellent credit. Since I wasn't receiving a bill and it had been over 20 days since my purchase, I went to the store to find out what can be done. An elderly lady helped me make a payment. At least that is what I thought. They billed my debit card, took a little less than $500 and that amount never posted to TD Bank. It's been over a month and they have not been able to resolve it. They won't return calls, won't respond to emails, nothing. When I call I get transferred as well and only get an option to leave a message. I have to resort to this and hopefully get the help I need. So that I don't have to deal with them anymore, I am going to pay off the entire balance but TD Bank recommended I first resolve the payment issue or I may never see the money again. I should have paid everything instead of "taking advantage of the zero interest..." As for deliveries, they always forget something. Don't expect everything when promised. Quality of furniture is ok. You can google the same brands you find there and order them online for much less and they will arrive on time.
Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. A person in the shipping department called me with the wrong information and then proceeded to tell me to call the sales department and figure it out. The same person called me back once the mistake had been rectified and then when I asked her for her name she refused to give it, refused to let me talk to someone else, called me rude and disrespectful (I was not), and then hung up on me while I was still talking. If these are the type of people Darvin employs, I will not be giving them my business again and I suggest you do not as well.
We have shopped many furniture stores and have always found our way back here, best deals, best amount of choices, this place is so big and I have never felt any pressure to purchase anything. Everyone is very helpful when you need help. We have been coming here for over 10 years now and never disappointed. We made the mistake of a purchase at one of the other big name stores and very sorry we did... I honestly don't know why we waste our time going to other places,,, we love this place and I think you will too..
Jay Witt is the most patient salesperson dealing with my husband and I and our indecisiveness! He is extremely knowledgeable and was moving furniture around to help us make a color decision! He was smart enough to bring in Juliana to lend support. She was so helpful, sharing her artistic skills and her warm smile and encouraging words helped us with our decision! Diana in orland park was so nice to work with! She was able to answer all of our questions! The store made us feel comfortable during this time as they took customers temperatures prior to them entering the store. They had a huge selection of couches, kitchen tables, and bedroom sets (what we were looking for). I will definitely come back for patio furniture! Thank you for the amazing experience!
I went to Darvin Furniture today around 2:00 pm, looking for living room furniture. There were somewhere between 20 and 30 associates in the store, and not many customers. I carried with me a measuring tape, so I could measure the width and depth of couches. I was there about 20 minutes, I walked around the entire store, up and down every aisle, including the mattress section.
NOT ONCE did an associate ask if they could help me. NOT ONCE. No one.
As I was walking out of the store, out the main entrance, there were 7-8 associates sitting around at a reception desk, chatting away. One older lady bid me a nice day. Outside the front door, there was yet one more living room set, which I looked over, the price tag and measuring it. No one came to see if I needed anything.
Fine, no worries.
I went across the street to Ashley Homestore, where I was greeted at the door, and bought $6,000.00 worth of furniture.
Needless to say, I won't be back to Darvin. If I have the opportunity to discuss furniture stores in the future with friends, I'll share this story.
I've worked in client service for 30 years. If I managed / owned that store, I'd observe, and I'd fire everyone who isn't interested in selling furniture.
Our shopping experience at Darvin today was excellent! We had three items we wanted to investigate to potentially purchase. Bonnie Howe, our awesome client rep, was kind, an excellent listener, informative, and extremely helpful. She showed us exactly what we wanted within our price range and helped us make informed, wise decisions. She has realistic design tips and a good eye for making pieces work together. We purchased two of the three items. We may visit again for more outstanding, beautiful, quality furnishings!
Estimated delivery is off by months. Customer service is bad. Update: I left voicemails about my order and called customer service every hour on the hour to finally get an answer after calling 10 times. The lady on the phone said you guys had over 250 voicemails from customers you had to call back. Maybe you should be answering the phone but instead you rather "look" like you care with your fake follow ups.
I just purchased a new matress and adjustable base. The price was fair. I cannot wait until it is delivered. I have purchased furniture from Darvin in the past and have always been happy with my purchases.

I bought a chair and ottoman in August. Shortly after it was delivered I called the store to inform them that they were flaws in three different places in the fabric and that I needed the chair and ottoman replaced. I have called a dozen times since then I have emailed I have completed the form online and I have not had any response from Darvin. absolutely the worst follow up customer service experience of my life. I would tell all my friends to never buy anything from Darvin
You could not have asked for a better saleswoman (Rose). She was very tentative to our needs. Years ago (20), I had very bad experience with Darvin and decided never to shop there again. However this labor day sale intice me to go and see; I'm happy I did. This time the atmosphere was warmer and friendly. We also bought mattress from Rita and she was awesome as well.
