Calvin and Cory took great care of my wife and me. They were very professional, listened to what we were looking for, and made great suggestions. We did not feel pushed or pressured in any way - we just felt like valued customers. We had to make a few trips to make our decisions, and they were very accommodating each time.

They aren t personable. They seem too big and I don t think they use a CRM. You never hear from your salesperson once the purchase is completed. I purchased a dining set and I had to call to get the ETA. The salesperson then said oh I was going to call, your set is discontinued . He never tried to get me back into look and pick something else. I went to Avanti Fine Furniture in Frankfort. Family owned!

Poor Customer Service. Came 15minutes early for a 3:00pm appointment with Sales Rep Kevin Jones. Waited by office to be assisted. Kevin Jones took me upstairs to see a Head Board I was interested in buying, but I also wanted to see other options. Kevin Jones walked off left me to assist another customer while upstairs. There were other available sales agents to assist a customer. This was rude and very unprofessional. I walked myself downstairs to see other merchandise. Kevin Jones eventually caught up with me and made no apologies. When showing other merchandise he walked way ahead of me. I buy majority of all my items from Darvin, but I changed my mind on purchasing today because I would not dare give Sales representative as this one Kevin Jones the credit for my purchase.

I have been purchasing furniture for years from Darvin and have been very satisfied until now!!! I purchased an area rug in December and paid for it and I was told that it would be in at the end of December it is now March and I am still waiting for it . I have been calling every month and they still don t have a date for me . I just got off the phone with someone who told me that it would be around 2 more weeks!!!! I had asked to talk to someone in management and instead they transferred me to a receptionist and never spoke to management. I just special ordered a new couch and loveseat from them and that will probably arrive before my rug. DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED
Worst experience ever I bought chase couch back in July and now I m told it won t be delivered till mid December if your still selling this you should pull it off the floor.

We couldn t be happier with the experience we just had at Darvin in orland park. The associate we worked with was Marrio and he was just who we needed to work with. He wasn t overbearing or pushy. He answered questions if we had any, got prices for us on pieces we didn t purchase this visit and let us browse and talk amongst ourselves without constantly being right on top of us. Recently purchased $5000 worth of furniture at Darvin. Realized after doing demo on one bedroom that the bed frame we purchased would not fit correctly. Went to the store to get refund only for that one piece, which had not even been delivered yet. Brian, one of the managers, told us that he couldn't cancel the order because it was a special order. We had simply ordered the bed frame in a lighter shade than the floor sample. When we asked if there was anything we could do, he said he couldn't resell what we had purchased because he would have to lower the price. When pressed, he said we could take delivery and try to resell it from our garage. Really?!? After we just spent $5000 and were planning on buying a ton more furniture? Whatever Darvin...

Ed Garber was incredible! We experienced an issue with our first couch being purchased not fitting. He went above and beyond to help us find a replacement we were just as happy about. He really listened and understood what we wanted and tried everything he could to find the best fit! He is so friendly and really got to know us! Will be returning to him moving the forward!
Angelo was great.. he was very helpful.. my wife wanted new couches and I was trying not to buy anything. But Angelo took his time and helped with my wife wearing me down to purchase a new sectional.. they tag teamed me into submission. Happy wife, happy life my a.. but now when I get sent to the dog house I will have comfortable couches to sleep on. Bright side..

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly salesperson named Phillip. He was a wonderful advocate for Darvin and helped us find a beautiful entertainment center at a reasonable price. We will highly recommend Darvin to our family and friends and ask for Phil! .
I bought my furniture the first weekend in May. I bought a dresser, chest, nightstand, and swivel chest. To this day I do not have all 4 pieces. The initial delivery co sisters of two pieces that were damaged. A technician came out and fixed the pieces. They weren t fixed. We then exchanged them, and two new pieces were brought. They were also damaged or had manufacture defects. We then had another exchange! The dresser was good, except for one drawer so we swapped out a different drawer with the previous piece! Finally 3/4 pieces of furniture. But this swivel chest that was delivered was the broken. Door wouldn t even shut! So we had yet another exchange and it came and was the same swivel chest the technician fixed. Okay so we had another exchange and the door wouldn t close again. I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience. I can never reach anyone or speak to anyone who can help me! I sent pictures to their email and it took almost a week for them to get back to me! I had to call to follow-up. I had a great sales person, but delivery and customer service has been an absolute nightmare! With all of these exchanges and swap outs the only thing I ve been offered is my money back in delivery! I shouldn t have to swap out and exchange every delivery. If someone from Davin sees this please reach out!

Ordered a bed set in August 16 of 2020, was not in stock so they estimated it to arrive at the warehouse within a month due to covid, never arrived, called and spoke with someone that said it had been delayed until October, called in October, and delayed it till December, called in December and they just didn t have an answer this time, it s December 28th and absolutely nothing, it s almost going to be half a year and I haven t received a bed I purchased, very disappointed with my purchase, I called customer service 10 minutes ago and nobody answered, Great!
This is my second time shopping at Darvin and making a purchase. When I come in I get courteous and prompt service I never feel like I m being harassed or followed around by the store associate and they are very knowledgeable in the product Darvin carries, definitely would recommend this store to everyone it has the best selection of furniture and accessories.

I would put zero stars if possible, bought end tables and coffee table from darvin in orland park, 1st coffee table was chipped they replaced it with a worse one, asked about what they can do about the 2nd one customer service told me that the manufacturer said that's the way they are made, but would get me paint to color it in, I agreed because after looking at the end tables they were knick and chipped, turns out the couldn't get the paint but they would replace the panel of the coffee table, when the serviceman came out he was suprised and took a picture of the replacement panel cause that was damaged. Calls to darvins in home services has not been returned.
I stopped at Darvins this afternoon..I wanted to see a sectional that was marked down in clearance..the Staff was so friendly & helpful! One look at the sectional I saw online..and the clearance price..and I just knew it was the best one for me! Completed a credit check to see if I could finance part of it..after speaking with the ladies in the finance dept for just a few minutes & the sectional is mine! Set up delivery date to be soon! Worked with a great salesman, Josh. Was able to score great deals on a new bedroom set and entertainment center. They are also very flexible with delivery / payment. We close on a new house next week and they let us put down a deposit to reserve our items instead of pay for it on the spot. Highly recommend!
We have been customers of DARVIN FURNITURE for many years. Most of the products we ve purchased have been outstanding. Those few products which did not measure up where dealt with by DARVIN very satisfactorily. Our salesman (Jay Witt) has always been very professional, helpful and accommodating. He always goes the extra mile to make sure we are provided with the best of care.
I LOVE DARVIN!! No matter how long it is in between shops, I am always left satisfied. Today I shopped for 2 homes and got exactly what I wanted & needed. They managed to give me a great deal and extra financing. After 20yrs being a customer, I'm still hooked.

I had to wait awhile for service at the store, however my salesman was very apologetic! It wasn t his fault the store was crowded. He executed my order quickly. I picked up my order at the warehouse, it took approximately 15 minutes. The gentleman that loaded my furniture was quick and handled with care!
Well I went to get a dresser for myself at Darvin and I had 2-3 dresser I liked and ended getting the same dresser my daughter got because out of the dresser I liked they were more expensive so I went with the cheaper dresser which is the same one my daughter got but I don't care i couldn't afford the more expensive ones and Jonathan Ennesser was very nice and very helpful looking at dressers for me to pick 1 out and i should get it by this Saturday because I work Wednesday through Friday and don't want to take time off my bus company for the delivery so can't wait to get it

Darvin has a great financing option and massive selection to choose from. I wanted to wait to post a review until after I received my sectional but most items are on 3 month back order due to covid. So, can't speak for delivery.

This is by far the worst furniture shopping experience of my life and I don't recommend anyone buying from here. I ordered a sectional in the middle of August that was delayed over and over. While I understand there's a pandemic, that's no excuse for the absolutely awful customer service I've received throughout this process - with the exception of our salesperson. I've been told I'd be called with an update many times and only one single time has someone actually followed through and that was only last week because I complained. Last week, half my sectional was delivered. Today, I called (because again, I didn't get the update I was promised) and the woman I spoke with said I'm going to get the other half in April. Luckily I was persistent because it turns out the other half of my sectional was not reordered until about two weeks after the first half was delivered. I've still not received any support with this or the calls back I've been promised, but hopefully if I share this info others can avoid this colossal hassle.

Sharon was very helpful. Not pushy at all, no one bothered us on the floor while we shopped which was a welcoming change. I believe this made us more intrigued to ask questions and actually speak with someone! Ordered beautiful bar stools FINALLY we have been looking for months now. Thank you Darcie! Now hopefully they arrive sooner than expected, the delivery time is pretty far out but so was every other place we visited. And the stools were much nicer here, great amount of inventory to choose from.

I live at least an hour from darvin and this past weekend I took a trip there on Friday found this Sectional in the outlet part of the store. I didn t end up getting it that day but I called on Sunday. The lady had so much patience with me trying to describe the couch to her. She then went to check if it was still available since I wasn t able to drive up there myself again. She found which one I was talking about and I was able to purchase it over the phone with her. She was so nice and sweet to me. Being very patient with me as well since I am young and this is my first big purchase for my new place. If only I could remember her name to credit her for being such a friendly lady. I felt like I was on the phone with my aunt. Getting the couch delivered and I m hoping that experience is just as good as my other one with this company
We ve been purchasing furniture from DARVIN for over 25 years. Our Salesman Jay has always been very accommodating and patient while we looked through the showrooms to determine what we would finally purchase. DARVIN has always backed the products they sell.
Spent 5 1/2hrs in store shopping. Never have done that before with anything. Our salesperson was Nepoleon Daniel and he was incredible. Gave us design tips help with color selection and was an all around great person. Never pressuring but always in area every time we had a question. Also very patient. Could of use a beer though

Terrible quality. We bought furniture at Darvin assured it was leather and after a few years it began peeling and falling apart. I am greatly let down and disappointed in my purchase. The material was cheap and the service was nonexistent. When I brought this up to the people at Darvin, I was informed they don t care about their furniture in their tent sale. I am deeply dissatisfied with our purchase. If you see a sale they do not back their product.

I had very nice experience at Darvins. Our sales person was very personable & had very good knowledge about all the furniture at the store.
I am very disappointed in my experience so far with Darvin. I ordered a sofa sectional in in the beginning of August with an expected arrival at the end of September (about 6 weeks). Here we are at the end of December and no sofa yet. I understand with Covid and everything going on right now that there were some delays. It s not like I m sitting on the floor, I can wait a bit for the new furniture.
My issue is with the communication. Not once have I gotten a status update from the store without calling them first and leaving a message. I was told in mid-October that the manufacturer would be shipping it within the week and they d call to set up a delivery appointment. When that turned out to be incorrect I did not receive a call. Early November I called and was told the same. No phone call. Thanksgiving weekend I called again and was told the same thing- shipping from the manufacturer within the week and we ll call to schedule delivery. No phone call.
Finally I called again Saturday Dec 12 and was told, oh yes we got it a few days ago, when do you want to have it delivered?
Why didn t I get a call? Why do I have to call and chase down information about my 6-week order that turned into 4 months?
Salesman Ed was very helpful. He gave me my space to look around for what I needed, and assisted me when it was necessary. He wasn t obnoxious following me everywhere like a lot of sales people. Transaction went smoothly! Thanx!
