Sales department is very good, purchasing my VW Atlas in February was a great experience, even the "up sell process" in the finance office wasn't all that bad. Service on the other hand is were they drop the ball... the first one was free which was nice but when I went in for the second regularly scheduled service I mentioned I was hearing some noises up front and asked if they could simply take a look when it was up on the hoist to see if anything was broken. When the adviser presented me with the pre-work sheet to sign, I noticed a charge of $60 and when I asked, was told I was told that if they don't find anything warranty-able, then I have to pay that amount. This is a new car, 23k kms on it with full warrant??? I've owned at least 5 new cars from various brands, including VW and I have never experienced such a charge. When I questioned him, he told me this is the charge and if I don't want to pay then he'll take that off and they'll proceed with the $150 oil change only. I thanked him for his time and took my keys and left. I then called the service manager to let her know they've lost a customer and she simply told me that was their policy and she was sorry I was leaving. Frankly, she didn't seem to fussed about it and simply hid behind the policy, which is a short sighted approach to profit over customer service. What they should know is that I then took my car to another VW dealership to get the oil change done ($30 less by the way) and they were more than happy to look at the front end for free (they found nothing). Thanks to that great service, I bought new snow tires from them and had them installed this week and in the spring, I'll be purchasing new 20" VW rims & tires from them as well! So, in a nutshell, Crosby VW's focus on profit versus service has cost them a customer and >$4,000 of Parts & Service revenue.

We had a wonderful purchasing experience with Logan at this dealership. A customer oriented, honest fellow with no slippery salesman routine. Really appreciated the honest info he gave, but also grateful for the space and time he provided us to make a decision that we felt WE made and not pushed into. He spent quite a bit of time on pick-up day making sure we were all hooked up with our phones and other media and that all the settings were as we needed them to be. He has checked back to make sure we are still happy as he now slowly hands us over to the care of their service department. Thank you Logan! Thank you Crosby! Happy Golf owner:)

Crosby Volkswagen got us in a great Jetta, thanks to Ceara. She helped us to find the right vehicle and the procedures in place to keep us safe during COVID were effective and consistent. Any information that she didn t have at hand she made sure to get for us, and provided it quickly and consistently. The procedures and policies were great and got us in our car from beginning to end of the process in a week.

They started a battery replacement job at 20 minutes before closing - I arrived unannounced - had it done in half an hour and they washed my car too! Awesome service. We service both our Audi's here.

How this place is still in business is completely beyond me.

Everyone in the region knows (or damn well should know) the right dealer to take your car to if you have a VW is Cambridge VW.

Some years ago, before I did my own work on my own cars, I brought my car to Crosby VW for stalling issues. $600 later, the car wasn't fixed. First, it was my throttle position sensor (it wasn't). Then it was my mass air flow sensor (it wasn't). I took it to Waterloo VW. They replaced my ignition coil, and the car never had another issue until I sold it 3 years later.

There've been various other sleazy things Crosby has done since then, but the main reason I'm here to warn others of them is because of what happened to someone I know last week.

This person I know owns a TDI Jetta. He doesn't know much about cars, so he didn't realise how bad it can be for your car to let a diesel run out of fuel. He did that last week.

His quote to get the car back on the road from Crosby? TWENTY SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS PLUS TAX! They said all 4 injectors died as a result of being out of fuel, and they couldn't restore the prime on the injectors despite bleeding and priming the fuel system twice.

I told him to get his car towed over to Cambridge VW. He did. Took them 30 minutes (including pushing the car into the shop) and $50 and he was back on the road.

As someone at Cambridge VW said, "if it cost $3000 every time you ran out of fuel in your VW, VW wouldn't be in business any more."

I have a copy of the invoice from Cambridge VW and a copy of the invoice from Crobsy VW to prove these claims if anyone cares to see them.

This is how Crosby does business. I have heard at least a dozen other stories like this personally, but they've been hearsay and not something I can back up.

Be warned: TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE! I do not recommend VW Waterloo since their service advisors don't listen when you talk and do work you tell them not to, but they're still a better choice than Crosby. Unless you hate money, do not take your car to Crosby VW Audi. (If you have an Audi, I suggest Audi of Mississauga or Queensway Audi although unfortunately, I understand how far they are.)

Terrible service- rude and condescending. My lease is up in June and I am counting the days until I return it so I don't have to deal with this company any further. Maybe they provide better service if you're an Audi customer, but I have never, in all of my contact with them, had anything but terrible, frustrating experiences. Go to Cambridge or Waterloo...they have to be better than here. (I would give negative stars if that was an option)

Update: I just bought a 2016 Jetta at the Guelph dealership. Above and beyond service!! I am so impressed!

I just bought a used vehicle there and everything went flawlessly from the moment we first arrived to test drive the vehicle until we drove away in our new/used vehicle. Our salesman was Logan and he excellent. He returned all our calls promptly. He gave us a great deal and was very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely buy another car from this dealership.

The service department at Crosby is awesome!!! I did not purchase the car from them, but had my Audi Q5 tdi in the shop for repair because the car keeps telling me the adblue is low. The first time they did not find the exact reason but they filled up the adblue, then the second time they had their master audi technician Kevin contacted Audi Canada, found it was due to a defective parts. They fixed everything and offered great services! Excellent Service! And their service manager is a very nice and friendly guy whose name is Morgan Catton! Definitely will recommend to my friends.

Jarrett made my Golf R purchase absolutely seamless. Very personalized. Luke, the Finance Manager, was great to work with too. Extremely informative! I didn't have the greatest experience at the Honda dealership but this was next-level.

Stopped by there today looking to buy a GTI/GLI. W...

Stopped by there today looking to buy a GTI/GLI. Walked the lot 3 times for about 15mins or so. Saw 4 cars that fit my budget and taste. Not one person came out to say hello. Saw a lady taking pictures of multiple vehicles, but I'm guessing she wasnt part of the sales staff. The dealer didnt look busy from the front as my car was the only one parked there. Had a friend recommend this VW dealer, but cant see the appeal.

On December 24th at 2:15 p.m. we stopped by this d...

On December 24th at 2:15 p.m. we stopped by this dealership and met Keenan Chow. The dealership was closing that day at 3 p.m. because of Christmas Eve. So I had only 45 minutes. Within that 45 minutes Mr. Keenan offered me a test drive but before that, he had listened carefully and tried to understand what I was looking for it and he offered me to try the Tiguan Highline. Myself and my family went for test drive and we just loved it.

The colour that I was looking for it, the date I was looking for, it was very picky. Delivery date that I was requesting on December 30th because that was my anniversary date. I wanted to surprise my wifey. I went to many locations with her but never bought any vehicle so she thought it is probably one of those test drive things.

Choose the silver colour and the last moment change it to black. Guess what!!?? at 7:30 p.m. I emailed him for color change, Kenan was at home, he left his home went to the dealership and checked it if the black one is available in his lot or not!! and then updated the paperwork's send me again from office and gave me the vehicle on Dec 30th at 5:00 pm.

This is not just a customer service or salesmanship. It is something Beyond customer service.
Every person at that dealership are so courteous, so nice and so friendly. While I was waiting for my vehicle, I was offered for beverages not once but many times by many people just to make sure that I am not thirsty or need something or being left behind in the corner.

The conclusion of this long writing is to understand a person needs to fill their desire and to anticipate their requirements. These are the few approaches which helps people to change their mind, change their budget, change or commit in to a transaction.

Thank you VW Crosby. Looking forward to refer your location to all my friends and family and anyone in KW place. Visit them, you won't be disappointed!!!

For the first real car purchase that I've made I went to the right place. I can't say enough about the treatment that I got and the quality of service that I received. Yosef was a sales guy that I was able to trust, he was never afraid to say that he didn't know something and was able to get me the best deal possible on my new'er car. All in all I really do love my new car, and have no regrets with the purchase that I made. I would definitely recommend to others to buy from Crosby and more specifically Yosef Kamel as there was definitely a mutual respect achieved (even though I'm sure I was difficult to deal with at times, especially with all the people I brought in haha). For an avid car enthusiast and 'spirited' driver I felt right at home with the cars and people at Crosby. No body likes doing the paper work either but Andrea and Kaitlin made this process as smooth as possible and were very accommodating even when I forgot to call my insurance company (oops!). My one and only issue (which is outside of the dealerships control) is the fact that I can't buy a standard A3 in North America with quattro so I'm stuck with the two wheel drive and in two years (after the warranty is over) when I chip it I'll have to go to Costco and buy tires in bulk. Please voice my displeasure to Audi Canada/North America about this haha I mentioned it in the other Audi Canada survey so hopefully they get the point.

My interaction started with an email regarding a car I was interested in and resulted in a positive and profession call from Jil. She always followed up our conversations with email confirmation. I was at complete ease with her when we met to test drive the car. No pressure, no sales pitch...just a simple question..."are you interested in the car?". Little did she know she had me at hello :-)
I would also like to commend Liz on her honesty in reviewing the various "packages' they offer for long term car of the vehicle. Once again no pressure just an honest recommendation.

I just bought a GTI and was trying to retro fit used tires and rims together for my winters. My rims ended up being the wrong size... but David in service was extremely helpful and came up with some creative solutions for me so I could drive away with snows on. Had an issue with my vehicle and was working in the Kitchener area that day. Drove into the dealership without an appointment and the Service Department was able to bring my vehicle in and fix the issue that I caused without an issues as well as very quickly. They found some outstanding campaigns on my car as it was not done before i bought the vehicle over a month ago from a Mazda dealership. Amazing Staff very friendly and was able to drop me off at my Kitchener office just down the road. If i lived in the area as well as worked out of the Kitchener office more I would be having Crosby Volkswagen perform all my maintenance services as I have worked in the Automotive Industry in the past and felt that they are really striving to be number one as well as making the customer feel they are important at the moment they walk in the door. I worked with Logan Rapp in securing my lease on the VW Jetta, and it was a pleasant experience end to end. Some of the things that I appreciated were that he was someone that was honest and trustworthy, and I didn t feel pressured in any way to go with anything that I hadn t asked for. He was also very accommodating of my schedule and booked meeting times accordingly to find out my car needs, get the initial paperwork filled in, book a test drive, getting the final paperwork signed and picking up the car. I m also enjoying my new car!

Had a great experience with this dealership with leasing a new Jetta GLI. I was in the process of cross shopping the car with several others, and VW was the first stop on my list. Aaron Zomer greeted me with a Jetta already set to test drive, and was extremely attentive to make sure we had all our questions answered. He didn't push the sale on top of us and respected the fact that we wanted to see some other vehicles, which was really awesome.

I did decide to go with the Jetta, and the entire team at Crosby did an amazing job not only locating the vehicle in the spec I was hoping for, but doing it very quickly so I was out of a vehicle for the shortest amount of time. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Crosby VW and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone who is considering purchasing a vehicle from them. Very impressed!

I don't believe I should put a star rating for them at all.

I worked there for 4 months. GM made me feel like my job was secured once the technician quit. My job position was created to babysit the CPO technician because they couldn't keep track of where he was from time-to-time. Due to either lack of applications or no suitable applicants, they were unable to find someone to fill the technicians position which is where all of the problems started.

When I started working there was no one in my actual position to train me. I was informed by other employees though that, the reason they didn't work there anymore was because of the pressure the managers put on them and therefore caused them to quit before they hired a new employee for that spot. I did not receive adequate training, I had to ask for help a lot because they did not spend more than one to two days training me. When I actually requested more training, sometimes it would take weeks for them to reply to my emails.

The Thursday before they terminated my position we started the process of getting me approved for a car loan because my current car is/was falling apart and I ran into an issue where I desperately needed assistance. They said they care about their employees and persisted on helping me secure a loan. A day later or the following Monday they informed me that I have been approved for said loan. I was WAY beyond excited to build better credit and finally get myself on track.

On the Tuesday other employees were telling me that the car I was purchasing is being taken into the shop to be worked on to get CPO certified and soon to be in my hands. That same day, when my shift ended, they terminated my employment without cause. Leaving me with worse credit than when I started with due to a HARD credit check, a car that was unsafe to drive and they were informed the condition, and depressive spirits. I was left feeling used, unmotivated, and hopeless.

Had I known they were getting rid of my position, I would have NEVER taken their offer of "help".

The sales team was exceptionally helpful in finding me the car that I was looking for, and interested in. They did an excellent job in answering my questions and ensuring I was satisfied with my purchase.

I have not yet been able to use them for service, as the car is still only a few weeks old, but I will update this review when that time comes.

The salespersons and service managers have changed but the on both the sales and service sides I have always found them to be fair, honest and reliable. I always recommend them and will continue to use them for all my future needs.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever
I booked service appt last month for sat 11 for oil change and tire issue. Service advisor added me as a new customer as i am from BC.
Now i dropped the car a day before and on Saturday a lady called me explaining the oil change done and sol to tire problem but she didn t even bothered to tell me that we are closing early on Saturday as a reminder. How would a customer now u guys are closing early.

So i went to pick up my car and sales helped me in handing over car keys after payment. I was shocked to see the car was not even washed forget about vaccum. So in $139 u guys just did a engine oil change. Upon asking reason why its not washed BECAUSE WE DONT WASH CARS ON SATURDAY. Then why your service advisor didn t explain this when booking the appointment.
No service reminder sticker was put on windshield which makes me think even any oil change was done.
Service technician went for a test ride didn t even bothered to put a paper mat on the floor and car mat was covered with shoe grease.

BIG SHAME ON U GUYS WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER

I have experienced a re-occuring noise in my Jetta and, as someone who has tried other Volkswagen dealerships in the area, the team at Crosby Volkswagen has been the only one that I felt took me seriously! I worked with Grant and Kate who were both so kind, patient, polite, helpful and thorough! When I picked up my car, I was even told to make sure to call in if I hear anything again (which is a true testament to how Crosby VW treats their customers and the lengths they go to in order to ensure their customers are satisfied)! I am SO impressed by the service at Crosby and will definitely be continuing all of my needs with my Jetta at this dealership!

I have the worst experience with them i went to them because i got a recall for my vw and there was a light bulb that need to be replaced they were not able to replace the bulb and still charged me $50. So I played them for a visit they just know how to get money form there customer I won t be going to them ever again if you guy want to go please go on your own risk. Just putting this out

Very poor business practice and poor experience. with Crosby VW. My car was in shop for under warranty rust repair and they cracked my windshield. Then they asked me to pay for their fault. The general manager told me they aren't doing anything about it and she couldn't care less. Not a great way to treat your clients! As a VW owner I don't think it's fair to ask your clients to pay for your worker's mistakes. Please make yourselves a favour and avoid them if possible. Shop somewhere else or buy a different brand. I do no recommend anyone Crosby VW.

Absolutely the worst experience.

I own two audi's, a 2005 A4 and a 2014 Q5 both of which I purchased in Oakville.

The A4 was given to my father to use as I didn't need it anymore and he resides in Kitchener and Crosby Audi is the local Audi Dealership. After taking my car in when the temperature gauge increases to 130 and then immediately dropped back to normal, Crosby Audi recommended a few fixes. They claimed to have replaced the temperature gauge, the water pump, the heater core and all in all $2500+. We paid and figured they would know best and the rest of the car is perfect.

When my father brought the car home he found the same problem to persist and took it back. Their new recommendation was there must be a crack in the block that they cannot see and they would like to replace the entire block! After a quick google search of the symptoms it appears that here is just a bubble in the cooling system but this is something they had not been able to figure out.

So my father called me and I advised to bring the vehicle back and we will get a second opinion from Audi Oakville Centre, the Audi dealership I regularly go.

I booked the first available appointment which is a week out (not happy about that) and decided to wait. In the meantime, my father decided to check the oil and the entire dipstick assembly came loose! That means the people doing the work at Crosby had not put it back properly!

Every time the vehicle goes to Crosby Audi I get it back worse!

STAY CLEAR. I'm filling an official BBB against CROSBY AUDI after discussing with Audi Canada about my experience in Kitchener. Judging by the other reviews it appears that Crosby Audi has a systemic problem in their service department.

I went in, having fully vetted, priced, optioned and researched the Golf R, and, to my pleasant surprise, Jarrett was able to complement my research by answering every single question before, during and after test driving both an R and a GTI. I was continually impressed by his product knowledge, and, his customer service was superb. The stress and angst of dealing with a new car purchase was non-existent and I commend Jarrett for his charismatic and everlasting professionalism. On the day I picked up my car, everything went perfect, and, Jarrett shared in the excitement of picking up my dream car which I have wanted since I first saw the 2004 Mk4 R32.

Erik was my sales associate. Great guy - down to earth, patient and super informative! The rest of the staff also made the experience great by jumping in any chance they had to ensure I was content and taken care of. You really get a good family feeling at Crosby VW. I recently leased a new car from Crosby VW. I had the pleasure of working with Logan. He was always extremely professional but made the environment very relaxed & fun. My wife and I were back and forth between a few different vehicles and he dealt with us and our limited schedules meticulously even offering to come in on his day off if needed. I would recommend anyone looking at getting a VW to make Logan your first call.

I had an accident and had to replace my old Jetta and did a great deal of search into different vw products and lined up all my insurance cash etc into a budget before going in.

The sales staff were very nice when I went to ask questions and no pressure at all and the sales person handed me their car and told me call or drop in when you are ready. When I returned with their card they did the no pressure sales and I bought my lovely used 2012 Chocolate Brown Jetta without issue. I made clear my budget and goals and they stayed within my pricing goals without any pressures.

To address the negative review of the Audi breaking down in front of the dealership. Do you think you should get in front of everyone else _schedule_ for work just because you broke down in front and bought it from this location? Does your personal selfishness really mean you should give the business a 1 star - even if you are the Pope, PM, emperor of Earth - you should line up like the rest of us and make an appointment.

So, really I found all the staff great without exception.

I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron at Crosby VW to see if I can reduce the payments on my lease by bringing my Tiguan back early and get into something else. It was a hard decision as it s a great vehicle. I loved it so much. We found the new Atlas Cross Sport to be more functional for our growing family. I got a brand new car and saved money!! I even went to Cambridge and Guelph VW by our home and he still beat both their quotes and made sure we were happy. I picked it up and Aaron had a VW water tumbler in the cup holder and I was good to go! The colour is unique and I love the trunk space. Especially for kids stuff! Let me start by commending the sales team, amazing service and knowledge. Great car buying experience.

That being said, the service department has repeatedly given me the worst customer service imaginable. Just try and call to schedule an appointment and you'll understand what I am talking about. I have never been able to talk to anyone in service they are always "with a customer". I leave my number for them to return my call, but they never do. Finally got an appointment, was double charged for services, and my hood was scratched. Service representative was not knowledgeable nor competent. Will not be returning for service.

I would not recommend Crosby based solely on the poor service of the service department, the sales staff were excellent during my visit. Buyer beware, eventually that nice new car will need service, and you will also be stuck with sub-par service.
