This is the worst place ever to buy a car. We totally got ripped off. They sold us a car that was in an accident and was totaled for way too much money. We had to replace the whole front end. Never again will we ever buy from them.

I only give this car dealership a star because I do not have the choice to give them zero stars! This place is worst dealership I had ever been to my whole life. I bought a brand new Chevy Spark 2017 back in October and it was truly the biggest mistake of my life. I drop off my new car to their repair service center and I received a call a few hours later. I was told that my brand new car s Air conditioner condenser was broken which I found that to be insane. I had never used the Air conditioner of my brand new car until now since I bought it during the months when Phoenix has lower temperatures. This means that my brand new car was damaged either during manufacturing or shipment which means that Courtesy Chevrolet sold me a brand new car that was damaged!!!!!! I feel like I was cheated since I was given a damaged new car. Courtesy Chevrolet is a car dealership that has no courtesy to their customers and only view them as a profit and not as human beings with transportation needs!!!! I also must say that the customer service at Courtesy Chevrolet is horrible. They treated me like trash by ignoring me and not caring for my transportation needs. I also experience racism and homophobia which I was shocked that a business would conduct themselves in that terrible way. I have to wait for days for my car to be repair which is terrible because I can t go to work and I teach summer school so my students can t get the education they need. If you are a hard worker please do not business with Courtesy Chevrolet because not only are they a bad business but some are bad people!

Do yourself a favour Don't buy a car from here. I know i wont ever again. The financing guy Steve was very nice in tell after I told him to take off the 3000 warranty charge that I didint want. He was not to happy about it cutting into his commission so he was very rude for the rest of the process. Good job STEVE I know 3 people who are about to buy cars and they won't be coming here

Tim John was amazing. I reached out to Courtesy Chevrolet after a horrible experience at Arrowhead Autonation earlier that day. I wanted a Cajun Red Tintcoat Silverado 1500 LT. I was told by Arrowhead Chevy that there wasn't any of that type for 500 mile radius. When I received a call back from Tim John, he went out to the lot and sent me a Video of the truck and all options to prove to me the truck did exist at their lot. He quoted me a bottom line and it was acceptable to me. He helped arrange a way for me to get the truck that evening. He even delivered it to the residence I am currently staying. All detailed looking nice, he went over all the options and operation of the truck. I would certainly buy my next vehicle from Courtesy Chevrolet and will recommend them to all my family and friends.

Great experience here. You have to be willing to walk away though if you want to get the best deal. If you have a GM vehicle (chevy, buick, GMC, Cadi) there's no place that'll give you more for your trade in then Courtesy. I was blown away at what they gave us for our under water trade in (almost 2K more than it's worth). Anyway, the people were very nice and not too pushy. Shola is an excellent sales guy so see him if you can.

I'm very dissatisfied with this team. I simply went in with a trade in, "Santos" promised me one thing, and financing department turned everything around. There trying to give me my trade back and take the money promised to me away. So not professional and I felt so tossed around.. So not Cool...etc

Thank you Lamar McLaughlin for helping me get my first car at Courtesy Chevrolet a 2019 Chevy trax. You made the process very easy and you were very helpful with it all concerns. You are the definition of customer service and every Chevy salesman should be like you. Chevy needs to have you lead a team a show everyone how it s done. 10/10 WILL RECCOMEND!

I Have been shopping for a Tahoe for about 3 months now. Trying to get the best price for my trade in and the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I live all the way in surprise and came in with no expectations and left with the vehicle we wanted and needed. The staff was amazing and took care of us. Ivan our salesman worked for us and helped us get an even better deal than we expected. I've been to about 10 or 12 different dealerships in the last 2-3 months and these guys were by far the best and most helpful.

This dealership is one I would highly recommend. I was very satisfied with the experience I had because not only was the service great, I felt very comfortable dealing with this specific dealership. Also Tim helped me and did a great job as well.

I inquired about a car. I had Jenny and Kenny email me wanting my info to talk to me. I just wanted an answer if the car is available or not. Stop wasting my time I m not interested in other cars. Why is that so difficult? Finally I get a response that the car is available. They wanted me to come look at it. I asked for pictures. Then they emailed back that the car sold. Which one is it? Figure out if you have the car or not! How hard is that? Don t waste my time. I m glad I didn t buy a car from them. If this is how unorganized they are before even looking at the car I can t imagine what it s like trying to actually get a car from them . AVOID AVOID.

Worst service I have ever experienced. The sales department is a joke. Its been two weeks and it seems like no one wants to make a sale. I highly recommed you shop else where if looking for a car or truck. I don't see how this place is still in business. It's sad and very unprofessional. All I wanted was to buy a truck from this place and it seems I can't get the help I need.

Kenny Williams provides great service to my husband Daniel in selling him a new truck. He gave us a great deal for a trade in, and we are pleased with the service we received! If you go to courtsey Chevy, ask for Ken Williams!

Keith Darden made this car buying experience so quick and easy compared to all the other deals I have done with car buying. He was very professional at all times but still made the experience fun and exciting the whole time. I will for sure be coming back for a second car at this same place because of his work.

This is my second time financing a car with courtesy Chevrolet & I wouldn t go any other place! This most recent time my sales guy Garett was extremely helpful; he was personable about the cars we were interested in, kept us hydrated while in the process and got us our new perfect family SUV. The finance team is great as well you will not be disappointed at all!

I came in to purchase a $9,000 vehicle after looking at the vehicle after looking at the vehicle the quote came back at $13,000.(complete bait and switch). After I said no I was not comfortable with that the manager came out and ask what they needed to do to make the sale happen. I think they were trying to do their best but the atmosphere is completely uncomfortable. There are probably 30 different sales people walking the lot like a bunch of piranhas. I don't think I will ever buy a car from a car dealership again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Courtesy Chevrolet. Mike Mizell greeted us as soon as we started walking toward the main building. We told him exactly what we wanted and Mike said that he could definitely help us. Mike was very cordial and funny. He made us forget about what we had just been through an hour before. We arrived at about 1730, so it was almost closing time, but nobody that we dealt with gave us even a hint of rushing us out. My wife and I ended end purchasing a 2016 Chevy Traverse at a price that another dealership (that we visited, and walked out of, earlier that day) said was 'Impossible'. My wife and I felt really good about Mike and the rest of the staff, and we will definitely be sending our friends and family to visit Mike Mizell and company.

FINANCE GUY STRAIGHT UP ADMITTED TO ADDING A $2000...

FINANCE GUY STRAIGHT UP ADMITTED TO ADDING A $2000 WARRANTY WITHOUT INFORMING US. I could write a long review but I'll get to the main point as fast as possible so to not let this dealership steal any more of my time or try to steal more money. I went in Sunday to buy a car for my wife. After 3 and a half painful hours we finally got the price to a reasonable number with monthly, down and number of months agreed upon. Since the car was for my wife my signatures were not required so I took my tired and hungry 1 and 3 year olds home to eat trusting my wife was in good hands. Fast forward 3 days later this random thought pops into my head to check the contract to be sure the numbers were right. Sure enough 3 extra months were tacked on to the terms basically adding an extra $2000 to the back end. I spoke to a manager who in turn had the salesman call me. The salesman and I had a back and forth ending in him saying he didn't remember discussing the number of months we wished to finance for even though that was all we discussed for 3 hours. He insisted the deal was done correctly. He had Steve the finance guy call me. So here's what happened. Steve added an interior exterior warranty to the contract without telling my wife and ultimately adding 3 months (over $2k) to the contract. How do I know? He straight up told us to our face when we showed up to sign the new contract. My wife reminded Steve that she declined the additional warranties offered by him when signing. His response. He brazenly told us the 3 months were because he added this warranty "because he thought she would want it". At least dude was honest. No apology stone cold attitude. He literally tried to steal from us. We had no warranty paperwork and since he decided not to tell us about it we could have never used it if needed. Cherry on top is that the salesman that we trusted seemed to help cover this up by acting like he had no clue as to what had happened arguing the agreement was correct. Tried to steal my money and half a day with no apology from anyone. Un friggin believable!

UPDATE: I took Debbie (customer service) up on her offer to give her a call to share my experience. She informed me that our experience with Steve trying to rip us off was not normal operating procedure and she seemed genuinely concerned about the situation. She said she would have Steve's manager call as well as to fix an item that was committed to us and nobody had called us back on. 3 weeks went by with not call on either issue. I called Debbie back and she apologized and admitted she forgot. I can accept that and appreciated her honesty. Steve's boss called me and I had a very similar conversation. She said she didn't fully understand the situation the first time around which is odd since she read my review above which was very clear and said now that she understood more fully from my perspective and they would have another review of the situation. I went in the next week to have my service issue addressed and guess who was sitting at his desk. "Old Dog" Steve likely still ripping people off from his desk. I also messaged the Owner/GM through the company website a couple weeks back with no response.

THIS COMPANY LACKS INTEGRITY AND ETHICS AND IT WOULD SEEM THEY TRAIN THEIR FINANCE TEAM IN THIS PRACTICE ALLOWING THEM TO RIP OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS. STEVE HAS CLEARLY BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK AND I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE HE'S RIPPED OFF OVER HIS YEARS AND HOW MANY MORE HE WILL GET??? DON'T LET THIS BE YOU!

MY ADVICE STEER CLEAR OF COURTESY CHEVROLET. TOO MANY OPTIONS OUT THERE TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH CORRUPT COMPANIES THAT LACK INTEGRITY.

Once again I made a service appointment and once again upon arrival no one knew I was coming in. While my problem *was* taken care of, service advisor Tim Jackson took it upon himself to have *extra* work performed. Granted, it was only $35-$40 but I never had the chance to allow or decline three light bulbs being replaced. I questioned him on that at the time of picking up my vehicle and he said, "Yeah, they told me about that after I got your message [authorizing two other repairs] and I figured I would take the risk of having you yell at me rather than call you back, so I had it done. I didn't want you to get pulled over for having the license plate bulb out."

Is that appropriate? I think not.

According to Jack Walker, I've been on a so-called "VIP" list since July 2012 for preferred service and a service discount because of all the trouble I had *previously* at Courtesy Chevrolet. I didn't see a discount on my bill.. and Tim Jackson never addressed that when I did leave him a message to authorize the original 2 repairs.

I paid the bill and left without disputing it because I did not have time to address it then. I was planning to do so this week. Hopefully this is a start.
*********************************************

(Previous review from appx Jan 2015) I tried to make the appointment online but that system wasn't working. I was then offered an online chat to do it. 'Great', I thought. 'I'll tell them exactly what's wrong and when I'll be there." Made the appointment for that evening and logged off.

Arrived that evening and no one knew I was coming. No one knew what service I needed. No one knew who my service advisor was. No one knew I'm on a supposed "VIP" list. *sigh* Left the truck and took my ride home.

Next day- midday- the service advisor called (Tim Jackson, I believe) with the list of problems. I was fine with that but again I had to tell him about this supposed "VIP" status. While that *did* result in a discount, the lack of communication between the people at Courtesy is stunning. What is the point of calling or logging on to make an appointment if no one passes the message on?

The work itself was fine and I appreciate knowing what's going on and knowing that it's done right. But again it's the front end of the service experience that needs work.

I bought a Kia Sedona at the end of May. I bought ...

I bought a Kia Sedona at the end of May. I bought the Ally extended warranty because Russel told me there was no manufacturer warranty on the vehicle. I didn't really want to get the extended warranty because it was $2,500 more than I wanted to spend but Russel talked me into it. After a few weeks I noticed that my alignment pulled to the right and my ac was blowing hot air. I made an appointment, then I had to call back the next few days because my tire popped. When I called I asked if the tires where include with the bumper to bumper extended warranty they told me yes it's included. I was excited, I'll get my AC, alignment and tire fixed and I'll just have to pay the $100 deductible. Come to find out that the tires are not included and the alignment will cost me 129.95 the AC compressor was leaking but that was covered under manufacturer warranty and would have to take it to Kia. So I took it to Kia they couldn't find a leak.
l feel like they lied to me just to make their numbers for the month. They seem to over exaggerate what the extended warranty covers. Also I had an appointment at 730 am and they didn't call me with the update until 300 it took you that long to work on my car really?!
The saleswoman who helped me when I was looking for a vehicle her name was Crystal. She was vary helpful, patience and understanding. I had fun laughing with her and joking with her.

Joe Mitchell was fantastic to work with! He went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the vehicle I wanted at the price I needed. He kept in regular contact with me over the course of a couple of weeks keeping me informed of the inventory and any special offers. I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle in the Phoenix area to reach out to Joe at Courtesy Chevrolet. You won't be disappointed!

I decided to lease a Chevy Volt for my commute. Tom Steffes and Chris Murphy made the whole process extremely smooth. While we mostly worked with Tom, Chris was also a large part of the process. I have purchased a number of cars from many different dealerships, and this was by far the easiest car buying/leasing experience I've ha so far. I was able to arrange most of the details via email without having to step into the dealership. Tom never pressured me or hassled me during the process. The only times I need to go to the dealership were to test drive the Volt and then do the paperwork. They even let me have the car for a 24-hour test drive so I could make sure the Volt fit into our family's lifestyle. I highly recommend checking out Courtesy Chevrolet...Tom, Chris, and the whole team made getting the Volt a positive experience.

I was greeted with courtesy, accurately informed of the length of time I would wait for my car to be serviced, given a delicious iced tea while I waited, informed when my car was ready, and now I am ready to go for another 5000 miles. Thank you.

This is my first google review but at this point I don't know what else to do short of hiring a lawyer. Went out of my way, based upon good online reviews to buy a vehicle here. They screwed up paperwork and caused a negative review on credit report for not paying off trade-in. Still haven't gotten license plates I assume because they screwed up the address on both the contract and the warranty. I have been calling and submitting forms. Finally found an email address. I have attempted to contact: David, Russell, Martha Keith and Jason Church. Not one can be bothered to even call or email. Sent that too and that too is being ignored. I am literally on Day 4 of repeated calls, full mailboxes and disconnections waiting for someone to contact me. I have not even been able to talk to anyone other than a receptionist that transfers me hit or miss to a mailbox that might be full or disconnects.

My rep kept saying he was giving me a discount and he was I guess he thought I was stupid b/c I m a woman. It was only the diagnostic fee taken off the balance. I know my car has issue but I think I I just overpaid ($600 plus) to get my battery changed.

Brought my 2500 HD into Courtesy for a quick check prior to a long trip hauling a trailer. As usual, everything was checked out, topped off, whatever was needed. Even got an oil change just to be sure. I can now take my trip with confidence. Thanks Tim Jackson!

I worked with Bernard Jordan, and Jamie Phillips. They were both excellent salesmen and made me feel very comfortable. I really liked doing business with Courtsey. Whenever i need another vehicle I will come to Courtesy Chevrolet.

I took my truck in for one of my 3 free oil changes and tire rotations. I found out they couldn't rotate my tires because they did not have a 7stud star key for my lug nuts. I did not have one either. The tires and rims where on the truck when I purchased it from your dealership. After I got my truck back I had to go to 4 different shops just to find and purchase a star key without having to buy a whole set of lug nuts with it. I didn't actually get my tires rotated until the following week due to this mishap. They also gave my truck a car wash. This took much longer then I'd ever expect. It took roughly about 45 min to an hour to wash my truck and I know this because I got my paperwork saying they where done with my oil change. I really find that to be completely ridiculous, so much that I don't think I'll ever be getting another car wash from you guys again. I'd rather go to a wise guys for 7.99 and get a good towel dry compared to the messy one I received from you guys. Just still can't believe it took roughly 2 and a half hours to get an oil change and car wash done, and that's with me already having an appointment... I was there from 10:00 am until 12:34 pm. Hopefully my next two oil changes will go smoother than this one.

Internet Sales Rep David Blankinship did an expert job with our new car sale. We drove from California on the referral of a friend and we were not disappointed. We were treated as valued customers by every Courtesy employee we came into contact with. Russell (finance department) quickly worked through our paperwork and in total we spent two hours and drove away with a great deal and vehicle. I would recommend Courtesy Chevy to as many of my friends as possible. Thanks.

Wouldn't never buy from here again, lied too repeatedly, waited three weeks for contract to be delivered to me, and then to find out, over $10,000 extra warranties and detailing were added. Nothing but crooks. Don't waste your time, don't make the same mistake I made.

I have historically had my truck serviced at this dealership (10+yrs). I recently brought it in because it was loosing fuel pressure and wouldn't start. They has it for 2 days and told me they pressure tested the entire system and couldn't find any issues. After paying the $130 diagnosis fee I took it home. The next day the truck wouldn't start. I notified the dealership and they said it would be $110 to have it towed in and they could check it again. Instead, I bought and changed out a bleeder screw and new o-ring on the fuel fielder housing for a total of $17 dollars. It has started every day since then, without issue, for weeks now. I highly doubt I will ever take the back to this dealership again. Extremely disappointed and shocked at the, seemingly fraudulent, way this was handled.

With my negative experience from midway Chevrolet, I decided to call Courtesy Chevrolet to see if it would be worth my while. The person I spoke to was Ken Samuels. He was absolutely amazing. He answered all of my questions and directed me to the sales person named Ivan Torres. Long story short, they took care of me and within a couple of hours I drove off in my new truck. Ken Samuels, Ivan Torres, and Michael Trujillo not only gave me the deal I was looking for, but they all treated me like family. It never felt like they were selling me a truck. I truly felt like I was family and that I mattered. I never felt that way dealing with midway. Thank you guys so much for making my buying experience feel so positive. I will definitely be a life long customer of Courtesy Chevrolet. I highly recommend them if your in the market for a vehicle.

My husband and I came to courtesy Chevrolet with every intention of walking out with a used car. Our salesman was David Escobar. He listened to what our needs were and what we were comfortable paying and showed us only what we wanted . We ended up leaving with a brand new Chevy sonic and an enjoyable experience . David went out of his way to help me with a vehicle a year ago so when it came time to purchase a vehicle, I knew that's who I wanted to do business with. David treats you like family and so did the rest of the people we interacted with. Any further car purchases will definitely be made at Courtesy Chevrolet.

Last month I took my car in for service. I asked the serviceadviser if I needed tires and he advises not at this time. Yesterday I had a tire blow out because my tires should have been replaced. When you can't trust the advise of the service adviser then you can't trust the safety for your family. I will not go to Courtesy Chevy for any of my service needs.

I use to love this place. But when a recall come's out for over amperage in the wire harness, and the service manager will only repair a brake light. That treating customers like idiots and will never buy another Chevy. If a circuit has to much amps it will effect all light or continents on that circuit. This dealership was the only reason I bough by Chevy. This my not be only the dealerships fault but when you represent a brand and Joe (MGMT), and George talks to customer like an idiot and can care less over a 100 dollar repair. Just know ill be across the street at the Nissan dealership when i trade my Chevy in for a Nissan.

I was a first time buyer and i couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was really happy with the service Oscar Castro provided . From the start he was very thorough and clear about what we looking into and explained the ins and outs that weren't fully understood but was very helpful on informing us. The whole process was easy even though I wasn't able to drive off with my new vehicle Oscar was sure to provide me with one tht was just was great. Thank you Oscar Castro and the whole Courtesy Chevrolet Team ..

They didn't even try.....I had my own preapproval. Ended up going somewhere else, brought my own financing and they listened! Happy with my brand new truck that Courtesy said they couldn't make happen. Why did you not listen to me?! Oh well....I'm good with what I have and my low 5.5% APR. Sorry guys. Better luck next time.

My Husband and I came here to test drive a truck. ...

My Husband and I came here to test drive a truck. There was a certain type of truck that he wanted. They didn't have it so they searched for one and found it in Yuma. We asked for pictures and they showed us. The background on the picture was very familiar. That truck that they were trying to sell us was not in Yuma, it is in Gateway Chevrolet in Avondale. They gave us the VIN # so we could call our insurance. We looked up that truck in Gateway's inventory and it was there! Will not ever buy a car from here or recommend this place to anyone. Granted the people there were very nice and helped us to find the truck my husband wanted. It does not help them lying to us about where the car is coming from. Before you buy a vehicle, make sure you do your research.

Recently purchased a lease return--2013 Chevy Volt from Courtesy. Christian Manriquez and Edwin Puga from the Sales Department were awesome. They stuck to their word and helped my girlfriend and I pick a great EV. They followed up on key items during the test drive and made us feel like we were getting a dependable car. The Certified Pre Owned (CPO) was a huge plus and gave us the confidence to move forward on an electric car. Several times Christian personally assisted me with charging the vehicle with the 220-240V station in the sales lot to ensure I was confident in the Volt's electrical system. New technology requires a hands on approach and Christian was able to do that for us. This is my second purchase/experience from Courtesy and I would highly recommend them.

I purchased a Silverado Truck for my business from Ivan and David at Courtesy. Both were very friendly and professional from first contact through the sale. They corresponded via email and phone and we negotiated the price of the truck before I arrived. There were no changes or surprises throughout the buying process. It was truly a pleasure. I recommend Courtesy Chevrolet and will be back for my future GM purchases. Thank you David and Ivan!

Mediocre deal w/ expensive bundles forced on you. Get everything in writing with these people. After the sell they won't help with any open issues. Also be aware they sell you a "connect and protect" plus a Nitrogen tire package with a combined cost of ~ $1,700. The connect & protect package includes an anti-theft system which is only active for 6 months. If you want to extend that, it's an additional bundle that will run you close to another $1k. I purchased my car 3 months ago and still waiting for resolution on open items.

If you want to get ripped off and totally taken advantage of, come here!!!! Talk with the finance team (Misty in particular) they will absolutely enjoy and love ripping you off and taking advantage of first time car buyers. This place will hang up on you, not return phone calls and or emails, when you have questions and concerns about your purchase. Please do not come here, this place does not care about you. Ive called and emailed the finance team repeatedly and confronted them in person about the purchase of my car, and the thousands of extra dollars they added on the purchase of my car for bogus uninstalled devices and contracts that I never wanted nor needed, and have been completely ignored. Ill take my loss, but if I can push one person or even multiple people away from purchasing a vehicle here, then its more so their loss, than mine. So come to Courtesy Chevy on Camelback in Phoenix, if you want some good old fraudulent scam artist taking care of you.

My sales person was Shola, and he made me have the best experience in buying a car ever. I didn't feel any stress or pressure there. We had told him what we were working with and he have us options. Every step they took with us just made it more comfortable and understandable. The timing was impeccable, I have been at car places for hours and got no where. To sum this up I will be dealing with only them with my future car buys. Anyone wanting a good dealership, go to them, they are family owned and really work with people.
