Everyone that helped me get my car Serviced, especially Bill in service, was absolutely fantastic! They truly went above and beyond to be kind, provide excellent service to the vehicle itself and even washed and vacuumed my car for me! I was blown away by the service I received and would not hesitate to recommend Coggin Nissan at the Avenues to anyone! Thank you all! See you soon!

This dealership has a good selection of cars and the people are very friendly. The total buying experience was not as difficult and did not take as long as previous experiences we have had so we were pleasantly surprised. We had to bring the car back after the sale to change out the seat covers and were treated very well by the service team. Overall a good experience so far.
Rafael Elvira is such an asset to Coggin Nissan of the Avenues. He was helpful and knowledgeable. We thought we wanted a truck but ended up with a minivan and have saved so much money and are so much happier. He wasn't pushy which would have made us run. I will be buying all future cars with him only and referring everyone I know to him. What a GEM!!! Thank you Nissan for having us deal with him! :)
We worked with Debbie Patton over the phone initially, and this turned into a dealership visit and the purchase of the perfect car for us. Exactly what we were looking for. She was absolutely wonderful and made car buying as easy as we've ever had (actually much easier). Would recommend her to all our family and friends at the first opportunity. Best car buying experience we've ever had...by far!!!!!!!
This is an awesome and great dealership in Jacksonville, Florida. . The advisors are knowledgeable, helpful, and caring to my car needs. I highly recommend this car dealership, they will serve you in the capacity of transportation needs.
Reuben was THE best!!!!! Honest, helpful, hardworking. The whole staff we interacted with were very professional and genuine! They did EVERYTHING to make sure we got the best possible deal and went above and beyond. As a military family, that means A LOT to us!
If you re looking for an exceptional customer service experience RUN to Coggin Nissan at the Avenues and ask for REUBEN!
If you are in a hurry, probably not your place, but if you want your repairs done correct, this is the place, they do excellent work, and stand behind it
(2nd review Service) OMG if Comcast has an equal in horrible service and overcharging it is here. After a couple of phone call attempts to set an appointment for a recall and a transmission service to no avail , i drove there and made one. They gave me a 7:00 am appointment that i called the day beforehand to confirm. When i got there at 7:00 nobody was there until about 7:10, then i find out the technicians don't even arrive until 8:00, yay me! 4 hours later they approached me and said i was due for a new cabin filter, i asked the price and she said $70.00 , WHAT?? I replaced it last time for $14 from Pep Boys, she said "that includes labor". It is two snaps, open then out, literally 30 seconds. She finally gets me ready to check out and my $92 service is being billed at $125 , an undisclosed $18 "shop fee" and a mysteriously high $15 tax has been added. Whatever, i pay and go outside to wait on my car. He pulls up and when i get in the steering wheel horn cover is halfway hanging off. I took my keys back inside told them, they took the car back as i stood mad as hell waiting in the parking lot. 15 minutes later they pulled my car out said " there was a spring that was out of place", not even an apology. If they couldn't even put the cover on, how well is the air bag they replaced under there. If i ever wreck that car i am a dead man. Comcast has met its match!
(1st review, purchase) We bought a car a year ago from these unorganized oblivious morons. We purchased a warranty when we bought the car and every 2 or 3 weeks they try to sell us a warranty, we already bought! They have a recall on our car, they offer a free oil change but.... they want us to come in for the oil change and set up an arrangement for the recall, yeah i want to come there twice. When we 1st bought the car the finance person said to call him he could drop our payment. We made over a dozen calls and he NEVER called us back. I will never ever consider business with these idiots again.
The only thing that I cannot complain about is the car itself. The man who sold me the car gave me incorrect information about the car and it's warranty. After test driving the vehicle, the used car manager told me that I had to buy the car immediately or the car was going to be taken to a different dealership across the state (followed by a long elaborate story) and dangled the keys in my face demanding I decide on the spot whether or not I would purchase the vehicle. He denied me five minutes to make a phone call and handed the keys to a tow truck driver. Interestingly enough, an hour and a half later when I finally decided I would buy it, the car was still there. The Finance Manager told me that the warranty was about to expire so I ended up purchasing an extended warranty. I got home and the seat broke so I took it to a dealership closer to home and upon asking questions, I find that my car still had a free manufacture's warranty for 30k more miles. I called the sales manager at Coggin Nissan and he said I could just take the warranty that I purchased and add it on to the manufacturers warranty. When I got there, a different finance manager tells me that is not possible and insists that the other dealership was lying about my existing warranty because they want more money. The only people lying to you in order to get more money is the People at Coggin Nissan. If you want to be pressured, lied to, confused, and taken advantage of, then go to Coggin Nissan. If not, I suggest you shop somewhere else!
We were very pleased with the level of professionalism and organization at the dealership. Jon and Raquel were both pleasant and efficient, and mindful of completing the transaction in a timely manner. They were both very knowledgeable and very capable of helping us understand the steps in the transaction. We recommend them highly.
I visited this place for buying a used car. they showed me one and next day I'm ready to buy and visited 2nd time. the price is not discussed, for test ride they asked my details and asked me to sign the consent to run credit check after test ride and negotiation. I received messages that they already ran my credit check with 3 bureaus. now they started playing games. 1. they said the car I liked is sold. 2. they ran a soft check on my history. 3. they denied to give me the application I signed. 4. they want to sell a brand new car or one expensive used they have. 5. I spoke to their finance manager and he was rude, arrogant. 6. he is trying to teach me about credit checks which I'm into from last 14 years and I'm more qualified than him in this industry. 7. their sales rep charles is new and no knowledge about anything. he can't even answer my questions. I lost 11 points of my credit history for a car which is not exist and no sale happened.
STAY AWAY from them and don't provide information until you get the prices and other paperwork completed for your good. I educated my friends and family before the Thanksgiving so they don't get ripped off.
their Finance manager is insane and comes to you with a wicked smile and sarcasm. I don't visit them and recommend.
I just bought a 2008 Nissan Altima and it spends quite a bit of time in the repair shop, and then does not get repaired. Needs to return again and again. They do not inspect these vehicles very well before selling.
Auto service at Coggin Nissan has been nothing less than outstanding. I have been getting my car serviced there for many years. Prices are very competitive and service adviser Bill Mooney has always been courteous, professional and helpful. I am confident that the work accomplished is first rate and I have a high degree of trust in the recommendations of my service advisor.
Buyer beware.. Sales manager added: "hey i can get you a 60k mile drivetrain warranty for $23 more per month", but left out that he would add 6 months to financing terms.. Warranty needed 6 months later as transmission had issues. Called warranty company but was not covered as was an exterior part.. Rebutted that the issue per transmission company that indeed was interior transimission issue, warranty company still denied as electrical and uncoverd part. Same old car salesman tricks. Sell it, dont explain it.. Once sold its your issue. $832 trans issue 6 months later. Thanks Coggin!! Great guys.
My Versa was purchased from Nissan at the Avenues. I was always impressed with the friendliness and desire to be helpful when I visited the service department of the dealership. When I moved to the westside of Jax, I made the mistake of taking my Versa for service to the Nissan dealership "down the road". Big mistake due to inaccurate service information provided to me that was unnessary and expensive. I will "make the drive" from now on to bring my car to Nissan at the Avenues and look for my next vehicle at their dealership.
The Service Department at Coggin Nissan at the Avenues is second to none. Jai Beasley has been my go to Service Advisor going on 7 years. If I ever have or had a question or an issue on any of the 4 Nissans that I've owned over that span, he has been more than helpful. This last experience with my 2010 Titan involved an issue with my transmission. Jai made sure that everything was taken care of. He kept me up to date on the progress of my truck and notified me as soon as it was ready. I highly recommend Jai, and the rest of the Service Department. Thanks again Jai for the awesome CS.
Dealing with the sales department is a great experience best price around. Now if you want service you may want to find another place. Had an appointment for an oil change. Got a free one with vehicle purchase. Wanted them to rotate the tires which is not free and provide an estimate to add on a part that my model pathfinder did not come with. Was told even with an appointment it would take 2 hours to get it done. Could not wait that amount of time for it so I left. I e mailed them to see if I could use the coupon for parts and I would change the oil myself. Nothing yet but I will update this if I ever hear back from coggin Nissan. Like I said great sales people but service remains to be seen if they can get the job done
Well tried again to get service done again. Website says they are open but really they are closed. What a complete disappointment trying to get service done.
Bill Mooney was a great service advisor. He worked with me on fair pricing for an oil/filter change, tire rotation and replacement of a tire that could not be repaired due to an object in the sidewall of the tire. Just a couple of things that concern me: 1. I was charged a "shop charge/waste disposal fee of $29.00. My question is simply---for what? I was charge $2.00 for Tire Disposal which appeared as a line item expense in the purchase and replacement of the new tire. There were no disposal charges as a line time for disposing of the old oil and filter. This just appears as a random charge of $29.00. I do not think this charge is warranted and disposing of any old parts/fluids is just a part of doing business in your industry. My second concern is that I was afforded a complimentary car wash which occurs during most of my visits. My Rogue comes out of the shop spotless and ready to go. During this visit the mechanic drove my vehicle to the pick-up area right out of the car wash. It was wet and it was apparent that no attempt to dry the vehicle before delivering the car to me. The mechanic exited the vehicle, handed me the keys without any exchange and left the paper protective floor mat and plastic head rest cover, steering wheel cover and seat cover for me to remove and discard. This is not in keeping with the service I have been accustomed to receiving while visiting your dealership. Little things do matter. I did not bring this to Bill's attention as I knew I will be solicited a review of my experience and decided to express my concerns formally. Thank you.
I've been consistently pleased with the service. Work is done promptly and charges are fair. Bill Mooney, my service advisor, is friendly and did a great job of keeping me updated on my repair status. Highly recommend.
This is my first time in this dealership and man what a wonderful experience, Jimmy my sales person and His Manager greeted me and promised me that they will work with me all the way and they did. Good honest people and they do not play around. They just made me their new customer. The finance manager was so nice also and she is so friendly.
I got my first car with them and it will not be the last. Thank you guys.
My wife and I just purchased a vehicle from Coggins, and in doing so, had the best experienced ever at a dealership, thanks to the outstanding customer service support that Rafael Elvira provided us with. From the moment that we walked into the dealearshp, this gentleman was a true professional who made us feel very comfortable while meeting all of our needs. Moreover, he was extremely knowledgeable in the product that we were interested in buying (Rogue), taking the time to fully explain all of the features of the vehicle to our satisfaction. In closing, it was a pleasure meeting with this gentleman, and we will most definitely recommment Rafael as someone who will definitely work hard to meet all of your expectation when looking to purchase a vehicle.
We went to Coggin Nissan and Richie is the best! He understood what we were looking for and was very patient. We tried several cars and worked with us and got us a good deal on our maxima!! If you go to Coggin Nissan ask for Richie, you will not be dissapointed.
Extraordinary sales and service experience. And I am very pleased with my Nissan Murano. You need to consider this dealership before buying a new car. My deal blew away Acura, Lexus and Infinity. Doug
Disappointing. The service was incomplete even after waiting over 1 1/2 hours. I had called previously to make an appointment before I came but was informed that no appointment was required for an oil change, it was an express service. Some express service, imagine my surprise when the representative informed me that my wait would be about an hour and 45 minutes.
We had gotten new tires several months ago on our 2006 Murano, and brought it back for rebalancing/alignment due to a shimmy at high speeds. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. We are constantly travelling, so scheduling a 3rd trouble-shooting took some time. The upshot is that even though it was 6 months or so since we bought the tires, they still gave us a loaner to take on our trip and replaced 2 tires they ultimately found to be out of round at no charge to us. Kudos on taking care of the problem...
Greeted promptly and all needs met making the test drive, sales process, and finance closure smooth and almost effortless. Overall, was very pleased with the buying experience.
My husband and I bought a van from Coggin Nissan at the Avenues this past Wednesday. From the second we parked we were greeted warmly by a very friendly sales consultant named Raquel Welsh. I highly recommend her. She got down on a personal level with us and not only assisted us on our first time financing a car, but gave us a ton of great advice as well. She treated us as family and I couldn't recommend her enough. She went above and beyond and we were thrilled to have had such a great experience We will definitely be returning in the future.
Experience was good and very patient with us since we could not get the Murano started due to a dead battery and missed the initial appointment and still made room for us even after being late. Honest service as we were not sure if tires needed to be replaced in which we did not. Casey is good guy and honest, reminds me of our Colorado dealership.
The people at Coggin Nissan were fantastic to work with and made the experience more than I was expecting. I highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle from them!
We just purchased a new Rogue SL with the premium package and AWD.....We are very impressed with it so far, and it drives and handles beautifully....Visited the service department today and Frank Hall really went the extra mile to be helpful...Very impressed....The employees in the service department seemed more than willing to help and made certain that I was taken care of....The sales department was somewhat lacking in communication skills and this was not a pleasant experience..No real pressure but trying to get accurate figures proved difficult as the negotiations involved juggling numbers in a manner that made us feel very uncertain and uncomfortable and somewhat reluctant to consumate the deal...Finally got the issues resolved but there is still the feeling of poor communication...Bottom line is we did get a great vehicle at a decent price.
My sale person Jason did the best he could to get me in the car i wanted.but i just could not afforded it. so he put me in my second chose great Job Jason
I have dealt with and been a loyal customer of Coggin Nissan at the Avenues exclusively since the Dealership first opened the doors . I have purchased all my cars there and had them all consistently serviced every 3 months. I almost feel like the staff is my extended family and I have never had anything less than stellar results dealing with Sales and Service. Skeet Ray as Service Director is TOP NOTCH. I know and am fond of all the Service Advisors as they are all product knowledgeable and been in their positions for a long time. They are all honest and won't tell you that you need something unless you absolutely do. All go out of their way to help and make you feel at home. Kudos to Cory, Kristin, Faye, Bill,Jai, Frank, Paula, Cliff and Keith. You are the best.
Everyone was great. Thanks so much to Lou, Bryan, and all the rest at Coggins. The knowledge, expertise, etc. of everyone was great . I would recommend my family and friends to Coggins. Thank you again.
I was recently the victim of uninsured driver totaling my car I had for less than 2 years. So when my insurance and gap covered my loan I was left broke and with no car. I reached out to coggins hopelessly. When I visited the dealership I walked in figuring I would be turned down. I am not sure how they managed but nothing less than a miracle occurred. Brian Luce was the one that worked with me, made me feel like family, was very understanding and got me a car reflecting my current needs. He made sure I left happy. I am still wondering how they managed to get me a vehicle under the circumstances I'm in but I am nonetheless ecstatic with my experience. I left with a new car and feeling like I gained a long lost uncle. Thank you so much coggins and especially thank you to Brian Luce.
Too bad I cannot give a 0 stars. Please save yourself the trouble and find a different Nissan dealer. This group are quite the deceitful bunch. They will lie to you just to get you into a car, this is truly the culture there the lying came from sales, manager and finance manage to then not deliver. I went to buy a new Nissan rougue, I wanted a AWD vehicle with the roof rack, in silver, gray of black. I rode a silver one that was not AWD for the test drive, they said they did not have a AWD there so they will have to get one delivered. I was supposed to received the same vehicle just AWD, and in any of the colors described above. The car came in the next day and they automatically took me to sign for it without even showing me the vehicle. I mentioned to finance manager that I had not seen the vehicle and called the sales rep to take me to view it. When I saw it, it was not what I was expecting, it did not have the roof rack. I mentioned that and they asked me if I was ok with aftermarket, I did not want aftermarket but trying to be flexible I agreed. The finance manager, George Luciano said that they cont between 100-200 and he was going to talk tot he manager on getting me a discount to cover that, they came back with $150.00 discount, he promised to give me the information of where to have it done for that amount. I again trying not to be difficult agreed. 3 weeks later I was still waiting for a call back from the finance manager, I followed up with him, for him now to give me a $500+ quote for the racks. They are truly dishonest people. I have been a Nissan customer for many years, have owned almost every Nissan model. I have always been a Coggin Nissan on Atlantic customer, this was the first time and last I went to the store at the avenues. Please do yourself a favor and drive a few extra miles and go to the one on Atlantic Blvd, at least you wont be screwed in the process.
I called Nissan at the Avenue to make an appointment for wheel bearing replacement. I explained that I am moving to NY and I need to have my bearings replaced for the trip. The agent told me that he will make sure that the parts will be ordered in time.I dropped off my car off at Coggin Nissan today. 5 hours later, Paula called me and said they did not order the parts. Moreover, she did not apologize for my inconvenience. I explained again that I am moving but she did not seem like she cares about my safety or anything at all. She only told me that I could yell at the guy I spoke on the phone.
Thanks to Nissan at the Avenues, I will be driving 1000 miles with bad wheel bearings.
They lack professionalism. I do not recommend trusting your vehicle with this dealer.
Bill Mooney is an awesome service tech. He is so wonderful to work with. Always has a smile no matter how busy he is and is very knowledgeable. Overall great experience .
I had both of the Chris' help me with my purchase and I must say they were both incredibly professional while being friendly and helpful. Will highly recommend to any who are looking to purchase a vehicle!
Luis Ibarra is the man..he is really good at his job..he made car buying a pleasure..and I am going to refer everyone to him...also the entire staff were so polite and courteous..I had an awesome time while I was there...Thanks and I love my Rouge.
I took my car to get a oil change. I got excellant customer service by Will Williams and Kenny. Kenny saw I needed a new thermast. While changing my oil. Will checked and saw I was still under warrenty. I would highly recommend Coggin Nissan at the Avenues.
Richie was a great help for me on finding a new car which I picked out the new Nissan Sentra SV. Great car and good service which I loved. He did help me find a good deal which was perfect with for my payment options. I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a used/new car to call for Richie or just come on out and personally meet him. As I mention great customer service. Be recommending friends and family.
I want to thank Nissan at the Avenues and Bill Moony my Service Manager for the first class service for replacing my starter. Bill, the mechanic and me discussed the problem of the starter and I gave them the signs and symptoms I was having with my Titan not starting at times and then it would start after the second or third try. The mechanic zeroed in on the problem and Bill ordered a new starter. The next day they had my Titan back in service and a full service truck wash and vacuum. I have been doing business with Nissan at the Avenues for over ten years. I would like to thank Bill Moony and Christian for iterating me with sublime service through the years.
I am happy with my 2014 Pathfinder SV. Nathan Johnson rocks!!! He made the experience stress free and pleasant. I will definately go back when looking to purchase a new vehicle.
I'm still pending a resonse from management about why I never received an inspection report for my wifes vehicle like I did for mine. I was advised that a battery test was not done or documented and a month later I ended up spending 200 dollars on a new battery and that could've been avoided had my battery been checked properly while under warranty
The service department is the best I have ever used, and subsequently, do not take my car anywhere else for anything. Bill Mooney handles everything and goes out of his way to make sure everything that s needed to be done is done, but has never tried to talk me into or sell me something I don t need.
Fabulous they were the best.Richard Smith was one in a million. I want to call or write corporate office and express my gratitude for all he did for me. Thanks, Fontaine Sullivan
I just purchased my new 2016 Nissan Altima and love it! Zen, Vladamir and Aylin were amazing! I would recommend Coggin Nissan at the Avenues to anyone looking to purchase a new car!
The Sale Manager Juan Carlos is the best sale person we ever met, we're very happy with our deal, and with the great service received at the dealer. Definitely we'll back soon to buy another car here, thanks for the great experience.
Great Sales Associate for Coggin Nissan Nancy Crocker, Sales Associate My niece and I went looking for new vehicles for the both of us on 10/7, we went to a dealership who was advertising a Highlander which I was interested in but was unable to make a deal in my price range. I would not come up $2000.00 and they would not come down and we didn't meet in the middle so we walked away from that particular car dealership without any vehicles. We went to Coggin Nissan to see a used vehicle they had on the lot. Our sales associate was Nancy Crocker. We gave Nancy the information of the vehicles we were interested in. We could not spend a lot of time at the car lot because we had to pick kids up from school. I called Nancy later the afternoon about a vehicle on Coggin Toyota lot, Nancy compared what I was looking for to what they had on the Nissan lot. Nancy found a 2014 Pathfinder new for me to look at and drive. I met with Nancy on Friday drove the Pathfinder and decided to buy. The experience was great. No hassle,o pressure to buy. I fell like this will be my last vehicle due to my age. Nancy is checking with all other locations and stays in touch with my niece and to the vehicle she is looking for. Yes, I will recommend Coggin Nissan to other family members and friends. Nancy was a great Sales Associate and I have and will be passing her name on. Thanks Nancy for all of your help and love the Pathfinder
Raymond was awesome! So helpful and pleasant. He personally deserves 5 stars for his service! I question the management of that place though. I specifically called a day ahead and made a specific appointment for service. They still took almost 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. What is the point of making an appointment when you get pushed back 3 hours? We won't be coming back there for service as that was an unacceptable wait when an appointment was made just to avoid that.
Thank you Micheal in sales. We had a crisis with my daughters trunk not opening and Micheal helped us troubleshoot the problems. He stayed on the phone until we got it opened saving a truckload of groceries. He went above and beyond to help us. When we get ready to purchase a vehicle we will definitely ask for him. If he will go to that much effort for a non-sale call, he will, I am sure be the salesperson for us.
