It has been a very frustrating experience going through this dealership. We bought our car over a year ago with an extended warranty, however ea time we need to take our car in either to fix of all things the inside door handle not working (charging ~$175.00 to fix when it wasn't our fault in the first place. The damn handle just stopped working), to maintanance on the car they say we do not have any type of warranty. We went in the first time this came up and thought we cleared it all up. They said we did have an extended in place and we should not experience this again. Needless to say every time we go in they say we do not have an extended warranty and this whole damn process starts over. Its a horrible experiance and there is no end in sight.
Service was good but I was a little disappointed that there were no rentals available when I dropped off the car. When we called we were told we could rent a vehicle only to get there to be told that no cars were on the lot.
I would like to share my experience at Coggin Nissan at the Avenues. Rafael Elvira was AMAZING!!! I went simply to see what my options were for a new car and was gladly greeted by Rafael who was not only knowledgeable of the features on all cars that she showed me, but he listened to what I needed. He was patience and understanding because lord knows I can be indecisive at times. The customer service I received from the staff here was great. This is absolutely by far the "Chik Fil A " of car dealerships. Rafael, Bryan and William were able to get me in a 2019 Nissan Rouge an awesome deal, I couldn't refuse that most importantly within my budget. They have a forever a customer in me. I would recommend Coggin to anyone.
The stars are for my sales person Raquel. No one else there deserves credit for my business. My sales person Raquel was awesome she did everything right and was very helpful. I did not apreciate the other, racist and sexist, employees who harassed and belittled Raquel while she was helping me. If it were not for Raquel being so good at her job I would have walked out of the dealership and never gotten a Nissan again.
Service visit was very good ..... staff person who met me was very helpful and interested in my concerns. Work was completed in short period of time. The waiting area provided reading material, popcorn and drinks that helped the time go by even faster.
I went in to meet with Christian and she was with another client, so Gabriel helped me out. He was EXTREMELY helpful in every aspect. We test drove and when I decided it was the car I wanted we found the color and crunched numbers. When we realized I was not going to be able to afford that car, he did not hesitate to take me out to look at others. I decided on one and realized I really wanted a certain color. We drove all over the lot looking for it because his boss had told him t was there. I think he was just as excited as I was to find it. We came in and he really worked with me to be able to afford the car. All the while, Christian was coming over and checking on me. She sat there through most of the process.I finally got to go into financing with Christine and she told me I had the opportunity to purchase the car, which was so exciting. She patiently waited as I called my husband to talk it over. She did not pressure me at all. I am SOOOOOO appreciative for her giving me this opportunity. She called and had them put a protector all over my new car. She even gave me demonstrations of how these would protect my car. When I went to see my car all cleaned up and ready to go, Christian and Gabriel had noticed that it had some water spots and said they have told several people and would set up an appointment to have it completely fixed! They were confident it would not put me out at all. They reassured me that I could get a loaner car during the process so I did not have to miss any work or anything.Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and kind during my experience. I would highly recommend them!
Do not go here, especially if you are a single woman. The service techs will talk down to you and turn away your business. Raymond has been especially rude to me more than once and this is why I always drive to DeLand for my service needs. Go somewhere else, trust me.
My sales rep Kyle and my finance manager Mike were great people very knowledgeable and very patient. I will be coming back to them next year when I come to get my upgrade

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Leaf from Coggin Nissan at the Avenues. Vladimir Voloshin was the Sales Consultant I worked with and he was terrific. He explained the important details of the car and made sure I had my questions answered. When it came to talking numbers, he did his best to make it work for me and I can't thank him enough for going the extra mile. I would absolutely recommend doing business at Coggin Nissan at the Avenues and expect to be a Customer there for many years to come. Car buying can be a painful experience, but Vladimir and Coggin Nissan made it a pleasure.
Was at dealer for 5 hours. Staff was friendly but advertized prices where not available. Finance guy lied to me. Sold me extended warranty for lower rates and said was only way to get the lower rate total bs. Wife took car to get windows tinted and they said would be 3hours and done but took all day and i had to call them to find anything out.
Overall a very satisfying car-buying experience. From arriving on the lot to leaving with our new vehicle, we were only there for 2.5 hours with minimal headache. On the sales side, my wife and I were assisted by Nancy, who was very professional: she was very friendly toward us and made our visit low-pressure, making us feel like guests rather than bearing down on us in the way that one often thinks of a car salesperson. When it was time to discuss numbers, she helped make things easy for us by keeping things to the point and addressing our concerns appropriately. While all of this was happening, the detailing crew made sure that our car was in great shape and even checked tire pressure, etc. before sending us on our way. If I have a complaint, that would fall toward the financing department. We had gone to some length to secure our financing ahead of time to avoid some of the hassle, so we were expecting things to go as casually and smoothly as with the sales staff. The financing employee who worked with us, however, was rather rude throughout the time we spent in his office. At one point he expressed his annoyance that we were keeping him there past 9 o'clock, and on the whole he was very terse with us.
Terrible experience. Wanted to buy and liked Murano. Will now buy Toyota and not from coggin. 5 guys smoking cigarettes at front door where customers walk in. Awful!!
Dropped my car off for 30,000 miles scheduled maintenance before I went out of state. As always Richard "Big Red" Smith took care of me and was super friendly. I will continue to go there to Richard.
Made an appointment for service and tires with Bill. Got in at the time I requested and my vehicle was ready when Bill said it would be. Car was washed and vacuumed and looked awesome and all services were performed to my satisfaction. Really like the customer service here.
I scheduled an appointment for 7am thinking I would be the first one in and out hopefully no later than 9. When I walked in promptly at 7 I was greeted by a pleasant gentleman who got me checked in. He told me that although my appointment was for 7:00 the mechanics don t get in until 7:45. My service should take about an hour and a half once they start the work. Hopefully I won t be misled about the time again.
After the job has been completed I wanted to add that my car was completed before 9. I wish I hadn t been told that I was there 45 minutes before the mechanics got there. The service men were very nice and helpful despite my angst earlier.
Jason was my service team member and was professional and kind. He is engaged at work and a solid team member. He helped me understand all the work that I needed done on my car.
My only complaint would have to be that neither Kristen nor Faye were there on Monday when I went to get my oil changed. I have a maintenance plan on my XTerra and those ladies know me by sight and get everything going right when I roll up to the service center. I have been dealing with this Coggin for 8 years, and while a lot of people think that retail service members (whether they be employed at a dealership or supermarket) should just roll over and do whatever they want, the people at Coggin do their best to accommodate anyone who comes into their business. One last point I would like to add, we live out at the beach near Mayport. And instead of going to Coggin on Atlantic, we still go to the Avenues because of the service they have provided. Keep it up guys!
We have 7 kids and needed a big van. Louis helped us test drive and purchase the 3500 passenger van. He was really helpful and the dealership is a perfect place to entertain our big family with their movie screen and popcorn. We are really enjoying our van. We stopped by the dealership unexpectedly one day to pick up a few things and Rafael, who has never worked with us before, went out of his way to accommodate us and was happy to do it. Great place, great people, great van!
My appointment was at 10:00AM and at 11:15AM I was on my way. Replaced the tire air pressure censor on left rear wheel and cleared the "TPMS" error. Excellent service as always.
I'd just love to present the fact that Coggin Nissan of the avenues helped me get out of my old Rusty wheels for basically a space mobile *Kidding* seriously doe these people are the kingdom of customer service and they will do absolutely whatever to get you financed and approved .after a short while of looking around the city for cars I almost gave up. However with the Help of Emilio and Robert Crain my night maress came to a end I will be sending everyone I Know who wants to buy a car to them. My situation was risky as I owed more than what my car was worth but we eventually worked through the scenario. Thanks so much again for all of your help and support

Not that satisfied from the rate that we've got. We are expecting a more lower rate considering that we never go to other car dealers to check other cars. We are really interested to buy a Nissan car from Coggin. But service of the sales staff were all good.

Went in today looking for a a 4 door truck with a v8 .... unfortunately didn t drive one off the lot but that shouldn t speak for the the team there , I know exactly what I want ... and unfortunately they didn t have it today , But! I had the most awesome salesperson EVER ! .... Kaitlin Erickson!!!!!! She made my whole experience enjoyable and fun , she really made me comfortable and relaxed in an already stressful and difficult decision. I was fortunate enough to be able to have her show me other vehicle not on there lot but part of another coggin lot and she did nothing but make that an awesome experience as well! I wish she could be my universal salesperson and go with me anywhere to sell me any vehicle..... Our vehicles A/C went out with 35650 miles. Service Advisor Casey didn't hesitate. He took the vehicle in and verified the concerns. He notified us the parts were on back order. He provided us a courtesy vehicle. The staff were professional and knowledgeable. We were happy to see a corporation stand behind the product. We were treated very fairly and it was appropriated.
The staff member who assisted me with the service of my vehicle was friendly, professional, and thorough when explaining to me the maintenance needs for my vehicle.
My husband and I stopped by just to check on the prices for the Nissan Altima 2.5 series . We were immediately greeted by a friendly salesman who proceeded to answer all our questions and show us several vehicles. At the end of our visit, the salesman gave us his card and we came back the next day and purchased a new 2013 Nissan Altima S. The entire process was very pleasant.
Richard was helpful in getting my vehicle serviced and the service department even replaced a missing tab that allowed my splash guard to hang. Excellent service as usual!

I ripped Coggins Nissan on Atlantic on a previous review having been ushered out of the sales room like yesterdays trash. Well I had warranty work due on my 2017 GTR and Coggins Avenues was right around the corner. Can't really believe they have the same owners. These guys are great! Know their stuff and deliver as promised. Have no idea how or why they are like this but make the drive to the Avenues, it's worth it.
I called to schedule an airbag replacement recall and after being put on hold by the "recall coordinator" to see if they had the parts he took my number and said he'd call me back. Well, that never happened, so instead of calling them back the next day I called the Nissan dealership on Blanding Blvd and was scheduled immediately by someone who was professional and courteous. Having the work done was also a great experience from the service department to the waiting area. I won't be giving Nissan at the Avenues any future business.

Best purchasing experience! I recently purchased my first Nissan at this dealership. I owned Toyotas prior to this but so far the 2014 Nissan Rogue is the best priced, value for the money small SUV out there. The staff was courteous, genuinely interested in what I was looking for in a vehicle and ensured that I get everything I asked for. John and Leo were the best! I highly recommend this dealership!!!!
My daughter and I visited at least 10 car dealerships here in Jacksonville, Florida. We were just about to head back home when we passed by Nissan Coggin. As soon as we pulled up and got out Richie Nguyen came up to us with not just a great smile but was so polite and caring. I explained to him how frustrated I was that no one would help me purchased my daughter's first car. Without any hesitation he invited us in and within FIFTEEN minutes we had a car!!! It was a great experience, always is! I used to dread having to get my oil changed but it s always a pleasure coming to Nissan for anything. Everyone is friendly and I really enjoy the theater and snacks! Sometimes I wish my oil change would take longer so I could stay and watch more of whatever movie is playing.
I had an excellent experience while purchasing my vehicle last year from Brendan and Kristin in the service department is always wonderful! My problem with this dealership is purely the lack of communication and decency to return phone calls from the Finance Department. I totaled my car and both Allstate, Nissan Total Loss Dept, and the GAP Insurance provider themselves told me I had to work with my dealership to cancel and refund my GAP insurance. Over the past 3 weeks, I have left no less than 5 voicemail messages to a basic finance department voicemail line and even stopped into the dealership on Friday, 3/24, after work trying to speak with someone. I was told by a gentleman that since it was Friday at 5pm nobody could see me even if I waited. He was puzzled as to why I would need a GAP insurance refund and didn't know how to help me at all, but took my name and number and said someone would call me. Guess you lost the post-it because I'm a still waiting on that call back. I informed Nissan Total Loss Dept of how uncooperative this dealership was and Nissan themselves recommended I file a complaint against them with Nissan Consumer Affairs, which I did with no resolution. Apparently, Coggin at the Avenues is great at selling cars and servicing them, but can't figure out the simplest forms of customer relations. For future reference, per the GAP insurance company, you are supposed to give your customer a FL Cancellation form that is signed both someone at the dealership and myself to get the refund. If somebody reads this, can you please call me back or else I'll be back there on Saturday.
Offers more amenities than most other service centers and is often less than I expect to pay. Also bought my car here, nice friendly sales people that want what is best for the customer.
Ask for Natalie! This was the single most enjoyable car buying trip ever. Natalie went above and beyond to ensure that I got exactly the car I was looking for, in my time frame, in my price range. She was considerate of my husband (who was working) and allowing him to see the vehicle before I purchased it, of my pregnancy - she picked me up at the door with an air conditioned car to drive around the lot in & made me put my feet up and brought me all the water a girl could need! She kept my little girl entertained much of the time and she even bought pizza for me and my family since we had been there all day and couldn't afford to buy anything at the time. Shawn and Natalie together got me exactly the price I was asking for - the first time around - (and made sure they first found vehicles that would fit into my budget and work in the warranty to make that fit too) and Christine in finance worked my loan two times so that we could get the gap coverage. I did not have as great of an experience the first time I purchased a vehicle here a year ago but this experience has definitely won my heart back! I cannot say enough about this experience. Good job Coggin Nissan at the Avenues!!
I had a great experience buying my first financed car with Mr. Pritt. However after purchasing my certified pro-owned and going on my cars first road trip I got stuck out in the middle of nowhere with my 1 1/2 year old in middle of nowhere late at night. I was lucky someone was driving by to jump me. Turns out the car had the original battery it expired on me. I over viewed my preowned paperwork to see what was checked the battery was stated in good condition. Called service to see what could be done since I had to buy a new battery. Stated nothing can be done since when they ran it at the time it was good and that they dont fix things on time only what's bad when they run the car. Not satisfied and now worried about other things with my new car now.
My experience with Justin and the sales manager was the best! They worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and the deal was done very easily and the service was great!!! I highly recommend Nissan at the Avenues!

I had already bought a car from this dealership before and was very satisfied so when it was time for me to purchase another car I already knew which dealership I wanted to deal with. Unfortunately, I was surprised by the sales consultant's unprofessionalism after I had negotiated the final price of the car on a friday evening. After he went over how I was going to be contacted for an online survey as well as a phone survey he asked how would I rate my experience so far. I answered excellent. Then he said that he was only making $50 off this car and if I didn't give him an excellent rating that he would be fired. He than said " Don't tell anyone that I said that." After I signed all the paperwork and was handed the key I was told that he could only find one set and if I he could not find one by tomorrow that they could make another set for me. When I called the next day to let them know that I was coming to get the other set of keys the sales consultant said that they could not find the other set of keys and that the person who makes the keys only works Mon-Friday. Really? He did not know that when I was there the night before which was Friday? He asked if it was ok to go over the workings and orientation of the car when I came back on Monday because he was busy with other customers. I said ok but I am a customer too right? That should not change just because I purchased the car already....he did not finish with me yet. I was very disappointed in the customer service that I received but I will still continue to come back to the dealership for servicing my car only because that department has always given me excellent service but I will not purchase another car from this dealership again.
Bill Mooney, service manager, was very helpful and knowledgeable. His expertise will keep me coming back. Waiting area is designed to make customers feel comfortable. Great experience!
