This place is awesome i might be a kid and all but i loved this place the water slides are so much fun close to universal if your going their and alot less expensive than some place like cabana bay where we originally stayed and a great deal i had an amazing stay!

Not only I lost my walet for 300$, i really piss ed off i have to go to dmv for waiting my DL back. do u know how long to wait for dmv? At least 2hours. The waterpark was shut off on 05/31/16 for 3hours, that another story. It was my bad day. U guys should Carefully to put wallet on ur bagpack on this waterpark, a lot of thieves around

Dirty, filthy, disgusting hotel. Beg bugs in the roo., the carpet was gross didn't even take off shoes, the water park was gross and the food was horrible. Save your money for your vacation and the possible bed bug infestation you bring home.

Great for kids. Not too large of a park, so easy to keep track of the kids even when it's busy there.

great place to take my kids. staff was amazing on point and very helpful, pools were very clean whole place was great. my kids ages are 12, 4 and 2 and they all had a great time.

I wouldnt give coco even a star, I tell you why, waited 45 mins. In line to get a room, to stand for another 20 mins. To get the actual room. The room are outdated, linen were dirty on a supposed cleaned room, bathroom has black mold around the walls, and it actually smells like moldie room. Lets talk about the pools. Pools is nasty murky, guards they only had 3 one in the oragen and blue slide was not even paying attention to the people down to see if it was cleared. People jumping and not being safe all around the pool and no one there to keep people inside the pool safe. Lets talk about the shower, their is no hot water. Worst experience all around and not worth the amount of money for the hotel. And their policy is no cancelation. So had to stay in a stinky, room with no hot water, and nasty outdate bathrooms.

Coco Key is a water park with an attached motel. I say motel instead of hotel in terms of appearance, customer service, and amenities so please manage your expectations when you get here.

Coco Key is the type of lodging that a family chooses if you have made last minute travel plans to Orlando and you have more than one small child which was the case with me.

The rooms mainly have double beds, I didn't see any Kings or even queens in the place as I peaked in other rooms.

The TVs barely recieve a signal as it continually faded in and out.

Currently here with my two sons for Christmas weekend during unusually cold snap in Florida with lows in the 40s.
At 12:00am when we arrived back at the room, the heat blew cold air.
When I called the front desk it took 20 minutes for someone to pick up. Once they did, no apology only excuses.

When asked what they could do, the front desk girl only sent a huge security guard with two cheap prison blankets instead of an engineer to fix the problem.

The security guard told me that they have no engineers here onsite and that is how they typically do business.

When we arrived my son said the hallways smelled like an old damp basement. And it did. The carpet is buckled and in need of replacement throughout the facility.

If you intend to bring your family to Orlando, plan ahead so that you dont have to settle for Coco Key, but never plan to stay here. You can find better water parks elsewhere for the subpar rooms and service you will get here.

They call it a five star hotel , I call it a 1 star motel it had a rotch in the room and we only been they for three minutes my brother lost his tooth and the hoise cleaner took the money and when we said give us five minutes we left for 2 hours and she never cleaned it peapke are waiting to get to the pool and the life gaurd is sliding down the slide and when I was going down the slides one gay life gaurd said I had to take off my shirt and I have went on the others that were bigger with one on and when we call for service they never answer the phone , we had to keep asking for tews and we never got them and they never clean till like 5:00 .

I have been trying to call them all day and someone answered and then hung up in my face. I had already paid for a stay back in March but the resort was closed so I wanted to reschedule. It was for my 10 year olds birthday and no one is answering to allow me to reschedule so I m just out of money and a stay. The worst experience ever. I do not recommend this place

Great customer service, and a good place to take toddlers and kids, but room service was nonexistent.

We had to ask someone to clean our room after they didn't for two days straight. When they did, they didn't vacuum or change the sheets or take out the trash.

We did tell the front desk manager, who refunded our resort fees, which was very nice of her. And I understand the disconnect between employees and policy in businesses. But even after all that, we still had a hard time getting our room cleaned on the last day.

The park itself is very nice, and a lot of fun for kids, especially younger kids. Lots of water slides and fun things to do, and the water is nice and warm. We had a blast in the park itself each day.

The restaurant is decent and not overpriced at all, which was a welcome surprise.

Upon arriving at the hotel, they charged us 70 dollars more than what the booking account showed, we hope they will return the money. Then we arrived at the room had a horrible humidity, being two hours my husband and one of my children began to sprout. They changed our room, we had to show pictures of how my family was sprouting to believe us. Our stay was paid for two nights, we endured only one, since the next night, an unbearable smell of marijuana entered the grid. The saddest thing is that my children's birthday and mine were celebrated. We would not return or recommend the hotel

The place is nice they need more water Slides The Bartenders are very nice and every body there is awesome Lines weren't that long everything was good they had a Kiddy area

I had originally given this hotel a 3 but before I left a cleaning person stole cash from my room. I leave tomorrow and somehow management can't help me except by creating a theft report yet however they can't reimburse me.
Won't be staying again!!!

Hotel is a bit outdated however if you are on a tight budget and aren't really going to do major parks then this is a bang for your buck. Water park is okay but then again I'm from Pennsylvania and I've been to better water park hotels if that says enough. Not all slides were open but pool area was kept clean and food was decent. My room was outdated but decent. The bathroom was way too small for a 2 queen room. Toilet didn't always flush. Called several times but no repair.
Location is great as far as easy access to major highways, theme parks, convenience stores (Walgreens, Walmart) etc.
Staff is pleasant and helpful I guess up until the bathroom issue?
Giving a 3 because for a hotel in the major attraction area and for the ptice, the hotel could do a bit better.

Me & my family loved it good staff great water park & the best location on the strip.This will b our vacation hotel everytime we drive up from Miami.

This was very cost effective for our family. The hotel had a lot to offer.The food was good, most of the staff was friendly, the pools and water park were nice. It's a quick drive to Disney and universal. The arcade was ok, about a 1/4 of the games weren't working. Our room was clean, but had some damages to the entertainment center and the wall heater. Our room was by the water park and it was loud. Aside from those few small things this was a great choice for our family

I reserve a birthday weekend at cocokeys and i great it in so many ways i resquest to check-in at or around 2-3 and as i arrived at the hotel i was told that check-in wasent till 4 ok so can i get an aproximadamente time i was told no but previously i was told i was second on the cube for my room to be clean front desk was very rude . At the end of ot all it was 3:05 pm and they told me that it would be an hour till my room was ready and i was left sitting in my car with my kids one year old and a two year old and no one cared. Never again poor poor management

Do your research before booking at this awful place folks! Unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest option available. Within 30 minutes of checking in today (8/6/18) we were checking out without a refund. The rooms are filthy and disgusting. This was a major dissapoint on our daughters 4th birthday. We literally had to walk thru about 3 inches of brown water from who knows where that flooded the entrance and walkway to the elevators that had to be shut down. Tried to get a refund from Gloria the manager of the property, but we were denied. However we did get the $68 resort fee that is paid on top of the other charges. Luckily we live in Orlando and decided to eat the $200+ stay for 2 nights and take the party home. Do your research on this place and you will find that it s not all that great, in fact, it s horrible. Never even made it to the water park, unless the brown water flooding the entrance was part of the attraction. There are much better options in the Orlando area to choose from.

The rooms are outdated and smelled like mildew. Quite noisy as you can hear everything going on around you. We handled being there for 3 nights. Don't see us returning back here in the future

Nice hotel and small water park located in ther middle of everything in Orlando. Fun family activities / crafts done daily. Bar food was decent. They sell day passes to ppl not staying away the resort- safely concerned and I paid a lot of money to stay at the resort to have access to the water park. Waterpark is small and kids got bored quickly.

Had mixed thoughts about this hotel after I booked the room for a long overdue vacation my family needed. But decided to check it out and go for it!
Glad I did! It's been great! Staff has been very nice and polite, the rooms are clean (did see one bug) but that can be anywhere even the nice hotels ( this is Florida)
The water park has been very nice and soooo much fun!! My 6 year old loves it and so do we! Lots of lifeguards that are very attentive.
We will definitely come back here and recommend it to family/friends.
Still here now and not ready to leave tomorrow
One more day would be great!!

It's a good hotel with double bed, but it doesn't have any meals, which is fine since there's plenty of restaurants nearby!

This is definitely not a resort I say more like a motel, just stayed here in April 1-4 2019. Rooms were very dusty and smelly. They kept charging different fees to my credit card without telling me . Had to continuously ask for fresh towels and new bedding.. When I first got there our room wasn t prepared the manager finally gave us what we asked for plus breakfast tickets. This hotel charge you to park here and charge you for breakfast. Thanks but won t be staying here anymore.

Pretty rundown rooms. Waterpark was closed even though we called in the morning before booking and was told it was open.

Great spot to stay a few days. Water park onsite was included in our stay. Breakfast free for kids under 10 with paying adult. Women at breakfast area were very nice. Shout out to Flore the hostess for putting up with my broken spanish lol! God bless you ladies! I didn't want to give a review because I want to keep this gem to myself. Musty and moldy rooms. Killed 4 Cockroaches. Transportation to parks is very limited. Runs once an hour with limited seating. Room cleaning service is spotty. In the 5 days that we were t there the room was cleaned only 3 times. Pool is filthy. On site restaurant Tradewinds serves unappetizing / bland food and is very expensive. Avoid at all costs. Would give this place a ZERO star if possible.

First off the website is a joke. The rooms or property does not look anything like the site shows. The rooms was very stinky. It smelled of mildew horribly. The carpet is old and had a very bad odor. We asked for carpet freshener or for them to come in and do something about that smell and they did nothing. The wifi sucks we had no use. We called to complain again nothing. The waterpark closes way too early 7pm. The furniture is very worn and even it was dusty and smelly. Their was people hanging around the motel because its not a resort hotel like they live their permanently (scary). I would not recommend or ever come back to this musty place. The only thing good is the strip. Everything was walking distance !! WATCH OUT FOR THE BED BUGS!!!

To start off the staff and most lifeguards there were super nice and respectful, tried to help you any way possible. There was a young man, Justin who handled himself very very well in the arcade while there were alot of angry parents because none of the games worked or they were $3 to play them. Not good games very overpriced and evrything was broke. I recommend to go down the street to the epic McDonalds same price but way better atmosphere all around. When we first got there the room was very run down and very old looking,smelt like pee and the ac was blowing out musty air. Tried to take a shower the hot water didnt work. Staff very helpful and switched us rooms. Like night and day still old looking but could tell eveything in there was new, beds couch, tv stand, the ac unit etc. The waterpark is small and not alot to do, smaller kids cant even go on the good stuff they definitely talk this place up to something its not especially for the money. The food is not all that great. My wife and my phone did not work of there wifi or at all in the motel but as soon as we left there property phone worked great. The front office is definitely what the whole motel should look like but i think they just trick you. Overall the place needs a makeover and i think they make plenty of money for it.

In the 4 days that lasted in this hotel I did not like the quality of the water in the pools ... very bad !!

I been trying to get ahold of someone on the phone for over 20 minutes at the water park. First I spoke to sue, she transferred me to Water park no answer for over 5 minutes. Then I called again, I dialed for an operator, got Mary this time, she didn t hear me out, she also transferred me to the Water park. Again, no answer at the Water park. I can t believe they was no help and didn t hear me out and just immediately transferred me to the Water park. I even tried to speak with a manager Mr Rosario, what a joke. Why have a prompt # 4, I can t leave a message? It just switches me back to prompts. What a joke once again. Neither one of them operators could answer my question. Which was in regards to Groupon s deal. It s $15 admission.
All I wanted to know, if it s $15 for everyone,
Even if you don t stay at the hotel?
Or it s $15 on top of stay fees at the hotel?
Or if you stay at the hotel, is it free to go to the water park?
I can t believe the operators didn t answer my question. I also, asked for a available manager. She said there was non at the front. Like, how unorganized is this place.

The visit was good and i was treat well. I would have given 5 star but check in was a bit frustrating because of a mistake i did, and check out i wanted to keep the room longer to shower but it had "already been booked" so we didn't get a chance to hit the water park.

Rooms were terrible. The 1st room they put me in had a extremely damaged door that was hard for even an adult to open, they switched my room to where all the chlorine was mixed, and my room smelled terribly of chlorine

I was trying to book one more night and noone wad able to help me. The condition in the room was ok but, Tv do not work, and not microwave ,and lack of customer service. It's a motel, not a hotel. Do not get alarm when they charge you extra things they never tell you in the reservation. The is not valet parking and they charge $40 to park plus $50 deposit that it will be return 10 days later. The water park is the only goof thing on this place, but other than that I would not stay here again.

Although we won family of the day we were not impressed. We asked what does winning Family of the day mean... we were told your room received a little more attention our first thought was ok great!! Walks into the room and was SINCERELY disappointed and my family said if this is a little more attention, then whats the other rooms look like?!

We walked in an all the lights didn t work, excessive amount of dust, the couch looked like it was used if u get my drift... excessively and never cleaned. Our toilet got stopped up at least 2-3 of our 5 day stay. The floors were dirty. I didn t feel clean or comfortable while staying there.

Also, they charged us for parking when we didnt have a car nor did we report that we had one (you know when you go to a hotel and they ask for the license plate, color, make, and model so they dont tow you) they never offered us that to suggest we even had a car or that a fee would be accessed , in the event if we actually had one. We told them to review their cameras and they would see we walked to the city bus stop and used their shuttles to Universal Studios and to the Timeshare presentations... So check your receipts because I am assuming this is a common practice of theirs!!!

This place is Overpriced, not well maintained and no accommodations to go along with the excessive up charge of this resort... ITS SO EXPENSIVE TO STAY HERE !

The pool is nice and heated, bar services, good drinks, the arcade was the best part.

I wouldn t suggest ANYONE actually stay there.
Although we didn t use the actual water park we did use the pool area and I d go just as a theme park guest THATS IT.

I m 13 years old and today August 14 2018 me and my family went to cocoky and they canceled our reservation for the hotel and my parents were so aggravated that we was about to sleep in the lobby .... anyways don t go to cocoky it s really really really really bad it has bad service bad workers bad company bad everything especially directly D W A N Y E , T Y S O N , and CH A R L E T T E WANNA BE A REAL HEADACHE, PAIN IN THE BUTCHEEKS, they are really bad !!! I could say it a billion times if I had to .. I wish I could get them to shut down that s how much of a bad day I was having all day sitting waiting for a room to open up but D W A N Y E , T Y S O N , AND C H A R L E T T E wanna do nothing no help no progress no nothing . 3 whole hours there for nothing . My mom ordered a room for 400$ and when we got there they said it was canceled now that s 400$ down the drain and guess what nobody was doing nothing no refunds no nothing I hate cocoky that it would be the first and last time will go there !! Swear to everything they can lick the subway floor for that I hope something bad happens for that company !!!! Tbhhhhhh

Great place for kids, but rooms have a really bad smell and bathroom was pretty small and tight. Needs an update on furniture especially for what you have to pay

Everything very rich really fulfilled my expectations

The hotel looked and felt old and outdated. The jets did not work in the hot tub, the pool was dirty, the elevator worked poorly and were extremely slow, dust everywhere in the room, stained toilet, extremely low water pressure in the shower, dirty pool.

A really good place to take the kids to but you literally have to pay for everything even parking

It is a very good place to spend with the children, although the temperature was cold, the water was hot, and everything was clean and with a lot of control of the guards

Room smelled musky and the front desk lady wasnt helpful. Told me she would call me when my room was ready when we arrived... Booked it 6 months in advance... Then had to wait an hour to go back in and find out the room has been ready...

Hello half an hour ago I woke up with more than 8 bed bug bites on my body causing burning and when they changed rooms the other had worms.

This hotel was s**t the staff are all very slow and give you no help at all everything out of them is money money we get to pay a $370 resort fee plus a $50 deposit when we got there total disgrace staff cleaners don't speak English can't get your room cleaned of them the water park was good only for the staff again open one part for a hour and then move to the other part so it's kids play for a hour then bigger kids for a hour very poorly run place is a Dump won't be back

it was good ! got a last minute deal with groupon for this place. my kids enjoyed it

The place is old and out dated. The whole place needs a good pressure washing. Most of the ice machines and coke machines did not work. I feel the money you pay is not worth the stay. The towels are also so rough and small.

Good place to bring the kids on I had a problem with one of the employees I told management they took care of me promptly

Alright, Coco Hotel... My favorite thing about this place is that the water park is on site and that eliminates some of your need to drive in Orlando. My kids and I love the water and this park was small enough to where I could have a seat and allow my 8yr old to play freely without me having to be foot to foot with him. My two year was able to enjoy the water slides also as there are some there to accommodate her. (One that requires you to catch her at the bottom of the slide)The tickets to the water area came with the room purchase so that's a plus. There are life guards everywhere! Yaay!

I'm under the impression that this is an old hotel that has been remodeled to some degree. There is still a lot of work to be done. The rooms were not nasty but did not feel fresh. They are old. The beds are like bricks, they did not have comforters on them;just a flat sheet and a thin hospital like blanket. The blinds were too small for the window, there were no curtains hanging to make up the difference. (peeping Tom heaven)And the morning of my check out I discovered little bugs crawling on the desk and all over my son's container of food.
Although its convenient there were not enough benefits to constitute another stay! Sorry CoCo Key, thanks for trying and kudos to your amazingly friendly staff!

My family and I had an amazing time!! Great room, waterpark was awesome, staff were helpful! Loved everything about it!

I m very disappointed with this place. I reserved rooms through Priceline. When I reached and checking in, they charged additional 89$, saying as an additional resort fee ! The room barely looks like an inn, I forgot to take pictures :( the room was not provided with microwave or refrigerator, however they provided later on request.

Best attraction is the water park it is surprisingly very big and fun for kids and adults. The room was spacious and cleanliness wasnt bad the only downside to room was bedding is pretty thin. Upon arrival the line was insanely long and then one of the employees had the bright idea to tell everyone to make 3 lines instead of one which resulted in some people having to wait longer in line than before. Overall this hotel isnt that bad at all...it isnt someplace I would normally stay but it was included in a package. I would possible stay agin

A pretty basic hotel and water Park. The water resort is a pool, kid area, and 3 slides. The rooms are standard. The place stays moist.

Super value resort if you're on a budget. Built for families, indoor water park as well as outdoor slides.

The rooms have more of a motel feeling then a hotel. Smells like they should get new carpets . The kids had a nice time tho

I would give a better rate but . The hotel rooms were moldy smelly and the beds were so uncomfortable. Should be a $50 a night hotel not 150 . The only good thing the place has to offer was the water park that was wayy over crowded ... I will not be back unless they do a big renovation!!!

The room was ok.

I stayed there for my family vacation with kids. I had to change the room three times as all of the rooms had a cigarette smoking smell. The place is not clean and we all got dust allergies. I am only giving it a three star because of water park.

Rooms: aren t all the way clean, the sheets were stained. The air conditioner kept making a noise that disturbed our sleep.

Food: buffet was really bad and flies were all over the food! I ordered lunch from the little counter desk, it took forever! And even when my food was ready, the girl was just talking to her friend not paying attention. Finally I had to ask her to check on my food and she came out with it.

Arcade: no one at service desk, half of the games are out of order, super hot room! I asked for assistance and no one was able to help me so my son could get a toy. Someone finally came around and said I had to wait for the person who was on break. I had to leave, came back an hour later and still no one was at front desk of arcade.

Water park: one slide was closed so we couldn t enjoy the full experience. First day, the water park was closed for At least an hour.

I changed my reservation from a three day weekend to just one. The staff are all kids and very unprofessional, one day was enough.

Excellent location, facilities for the whole family and especially cleanliness.

Nice place good spot for kids the only complaint i have was the pool bar was never open when i was there need to better watch these things they could have turned a better profit if it was open

Unfriendly staff was very noisy and honestly didn't feel safe.Some guy was trying to go thru out stuff while we was swimming.. Cannot believe they charge a resort fee cause this place in not resort place to stay at all.Will not come back

Has Roaches. Even though it is has a great location and a great water park. The rooms need work and they need to have pest control to come and treat the rooms.

Not the greatest hotel, basic budget accommodations.

Water park, room and grounds were clean. Drink prices are a tad high and parking was hard to find at 2pm. We were able to check in early which was a plus. Recommended for families!

Customer service was on point, the rooms were off point.
