This place was amazing. It is perfect for any celebrations or simply having some fun in the surrounding areas. Very clean and the service was great. I strongly recommend booking a room here if you're short on money.

Ok ,not a bad place 4 da kids to spend the night n have fun in the water park,alot of restaurants n shopping one the strip.

Awesome place! All the negative comments need to be ignored. Very diligent staff who cater to your needs. They allowed us to check in early which we did not expect. Room is nice. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Horrible!!! This place is dirty, bathroom has mold all over, the carpet smell terrible.. this whole place needs to be rebuilt.

It was actually pretty nice when I first walk in then it starts to smell but the water park and pools are pretty nice my daughter loved it . I liked it too wish there were more options for the adults but nice over all

We just went there for the water park, wouldn't recommend doing the same. It is ok as a hotel to stay in maybe. Can't comment on the rooms, but only 4 rides were available in the adult's park, which were fun. The shower area could be cleaner, only had 2 working shower areas. Staff were nice and helpful.

Nice hot tub and pool other then that room is old smells. This is a kid park not a couples retreat. Also dont let your kids ride the tall slide in water park. Not safe.

The people here are very accommodating.
However, with that said.... there is NO blow dryer. Water park wasn't as big as it looked on the computer. And the bigger slides didn't work for the older teens. Other than that I can say that it is clean.

Hotel was very dirty, we as guest felt like we needed to keep our shoes on in our room. Vending machines did not work, the air conditioner had broken parts that guests could come in contact with and beds were not properly done. Beds did not have fitted sheets so just the flat sheets were on bed which would come of relatively easy, I wouldn't be surprised if there were bed bugs. I enjoyed the water park but did not like the overnight stay. The water park also had some issues with cleanliness, grime and dirt. The side of the pool had a layer of grease which may just been oil from guest skin. I won't be returning

It's ok. They we're out of towels and wash clothes. Didn't have any wash clothes our entire stay. Rooms had ants and toilet broke twice.

The Water park was ok. There were a lot of kids with no real parental supervision running around everywhere. Even in the area for the little kids, there were larger kids recklessly sliding down the kiddie slides. Made it kinda tough to watch out for our 4 yr old. The rooms are small and the "queen" size beds are probably actually full size beds. The beds in our room were very hard, making it extremely difficult for any of the adults to sleep. We ended up leaving early in the morning as soon as my wife's shuttle picked her up for the airport because we didn't want to be there any longer. Especially since the water park didn't open for another 6 hours.

Great stay. Rooms are clean. Convenient to everything. Kids loved the water park and pools. Staff was very nice. Def will stay again!

Great place for a relaxing family weekend. The staff is professional and friendly. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. I highly recommend!

At check in the computers where down so it was extremely difficult to check in. Later that day about 6 hrs later I received a call from the manager stating we were checked in. When we got to our room we noticed roaches. We went to the front desk to report. yes they immediately gave us a different room that was much better. The next day we left and came back but could not get into our room so I once again went to the front desk and rather than someone following us to the room to make sure we could get in they us goon our own. I could not get in so for the second time I went down and they changed my room key but still could not get in. So finally after 10mins of waiting and numerous calls to the front desk maintenance was sent to change the batteries on the key pad. Problem was solved. I must say the night manager was extremely rude. My husband was explaining the roach situation to him and rather than listening he was on his phone and after my husband was done explaining the problem the managers response was oh are you talking to me . I was so disappointed with the service because last years customers service and rooms were amazing. Although we had bad front desk customer service house keeping was great and my kids still enjoyed the water park!!

The pool is salty my room was damp roches were every where cain t waire my goggles waste of money the guy up front was a idiot and wold not give me my package it was a waste of money.

Where do I being? The first room we were in came with 2 queen size beds, and a MASSIVE live cockroach in the bathroom! I called the lobby and said they would send someone. 10 minutes later no one came. Called back and was told if I wanted a new room I had to come to the lobby. Finally they "upgraded" us to a suite that came with 1 king size bed, and bed bugs! If not to make matters worse we decided to go there to surprise our daughter!

Ok budget hotel for a few nights.good for kids with the pools and close to universal.

Great place with lots to do for the kiddies. There are two water parks here. One for the little ones that have their own lifeguards so all you have to do is watch and it's covered so you don't have you worry about the sun. Then the bigger out door one that pretty cool for older kids and adults.

The bathroom and shower was rusty and dirty. They updated the counters and did not clean the tub and floor properly. The water park is charged but does not open until 11 am- which is too late because that is when you have to check out or pay for an extra night! Also, do not arrive late, the hallways are dark and scary and there is NO security! Do not stay here without a body guard and jug of tub cleaner!

The hotel is a nice place to stay for a few days, water park has 3 big slides, the orange/blue one goes quick with two spirals, yellow one is personally my favorite it's a tube slide that goes pretty quick and a few turns, it can get pretty hot and it isnt very dark their is a good amount of light in there, the red one I haven't tried but it just has a big ramp up and then goes back down to the end pretty quickly, the kids area has some nice slides that actually go quick even the adults enjoyed them, and the toddler area is great 4 slides but the purple one doesn't work the greatest, the service here is great, house keeping doesnt barge in all the time and when you ask for something they're nice and you receive, life guards are always watching and doing their job and the front desk was super nice and helpful, kid friendly and adult friendly as there are kid activities and adult activities.

Rooms were nasty with mold on the walls.... The check in time was 4... We figured we would be able to play at the water park the next day but they open at 11. Same time as check out! How nice..... Not worth the price. Don't wAste your time! Or money.

Only giving 1 star since you can't give 0 stars. Never notified us of the renovations and half the water park being under construction. We found urinal mats in our air conditioner to "make the room smell better." They also left opened products in the bathroom from previous guests. A lot of mildew built up in the bathroom as well. Horrible service and useless managers!!

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Was unaware it was motel style and not hotel, wifi didnt work in my room but did in my friend's room, water park was included in the price but one part was shut down the entire 4 day trip, 2 Lyft drivers told us it was a terrible place to stay, TV wasnt working initially, toliet was broken had to fix myself, lamp didnt work, lights blacked out twice and it wasnt storming, pool wasnt sanitary, got mysterious itchy bumps on my legs after waking up 1 morning, shower never got hot, bug was in the drawer, light fixture suddenly broke in my friend's room.. I will say the breakfast was delicious, great customer service and shuttle service to Universal

I can t begin to express my disappointment in this hotel. Definetly false advertisement . Pictures don t resemble what this dump really is like . Don t waste you money .

Only processed fake food available even the coffee. Had a scevay feel to the property, like some dirt was going down. The shades didn't shut all the way the faoucet was leaky. The onice machine I could find was out of trouble ice, the ATM was out of service and both of the vending machines were broken

First impression. I was sooo excited to see this place especially when passing on the highway...Finally got a chance . Not impressed 2-2.7 stars. Average water park, wanted so much more. Didnt put to much detail in the whole appearance. The cleanliness-ok , lobby-feel like motel 6, old windows- from 1980's.. If changes dont happen, it will close like the any other hotel that refuse to invest back into its business....

2.paid for water park entry got to water park and its being renovated its not on the website nor do they tell u when check in
3. Cleaning services entered my room without permission !

We were kind of skeptical about staying here due to the many bad reviews, but we figured we would give it a try and form our own opinion... The room that we stayed in was very nice and there was no smell (as multiple reviews had said), and the waterpark itself was great.. there was something for all of us, including our 7 and 3 year olds to do and we all had a wonderful time. The heated pool was a nice touch, and we all enjoyed the arcade as well. We can't wait to go back and stay for longer!

This place has potiental...I love my room and the poolside view but that's it. The food is good but not worth the money Im paying for it. Staff is unfriendly and I just paid 27$ for 4 chicken tenders with fries and Quesidilla with one drink. I give it a 10 on presentation but a 4 on staff and customer service

Best way to do this is by list:
1. Son who was short for the red slide was allowed to ride it for three days before being sized and told he could not ride it no more. We were fine with this until kids with a different skin tone that were clearly shorter then my son were allowed to ride the banned ride. My son was told by the lifeguard and then supervisors that they had made a mistake and he would no longer would be able to ride his favorite slide only to immediate watch kids he knew are smaller than him get to do what he was told he wasn t allowed to do anymore
2. The parking lot was a mess. When another car left it ran over a full bottle of Gatorade. When we went to leave for the beach we had to delay our trip to find a way to wash it off the truck so the sand wouldn t stick and the driver could see out the windshield
3. Opened a facecloths left by housekeeping to find several clumps of a brown matter inside it
4. Toilets plugged multiple times, even when it was just fluid and no toilet paper
5. Three days housekeeping didn t clean soiled sheets and when they finally did the sheet set was replaced with ones that were covered in yellow stains
6. The air conditioner kept shutting off in the middle of the night causing us to wake up all night covered in sweat.
7. My $350 Gucci sunglasses went missing last day at the resort
8. We were told when we checked out a day early we could get our money back for the last un-used night. They refunded only $20.99

The kids enjoyed themselves and in the end that is what really matters. I felt like the rooms were disgusting and there were way too many "adult activities" going on.

I suggest you don t go here. I get to the hotel and I already hear people complaining at the front desk about the horrible smell in their room. I try to stay positive. Get my room key which took forever. The lady checking me in disappeared in the middle of checking me in she finally returned and said her printer didn t work so she had to go to the back. Okay get in the room and the smell yup it s there. Smells like a moldy room. I go to turn on tv for kids...tv doesn t work. Go to call front desk... no phone in the room. Great back to the front desk. The technician come fixes tv. Then time to go to bed after a long day it s 12 am go to turn off lights. The lamp has no switch so I unplug it. The vanity lights won t turn off with the switch. Again still no phone in the room. I have to go to front desk in pj s lovely right !!! Tech come back out wires the lamp.. but says my phone jack doesn t work and he will tell management. Management never showed up or called me.. the only positive is the kids liked the water park. Next time I ll stay at a nice hotel and only go here for the water park.

Had a great time my children enjoyed themselves will be back. We really enjoyed ourselves my sisters + = first vacation she had a ball

Neat place. A little older, could be a little better maintained, but the staff are all very warm and welcoming. There are a TON of interesting amenities, the bed was comfy and the room was spacious.

This place was so nice, the people working there starting from the front desk to maintenance personel were extremely nice. I had a little issue with my a.c. in the middle of the night and they send someone to fix it right away! I was so awe by the prontness to attend to my necessities. My vacation with my family was just a wonderful time thanks to the hospitality of all the employee's. I recommend this resort 1000% most especially for the little ones, my little girl enjoy her time very much. Thank you Coco Key resorts

I'm in between on this review. Staff was a little rude but I've seen worse. If you stay here make it your main vacation. You could have a lot of fun if you just hang out at the hotel. Walls are very thin.

The first room was really dirty, and smelled horrible. But it was the only room available. The rest of the stay the 2cnd room was cleaner, and didn't smell as bad. The last night the fire alarm kept going off. There was an unadvertised resort fie that we were not expecting. Pay a little more get a much better hotel.

I understand why they sell this place on Groupon. 1st off, check in is at 4pm and 1/2 of the Waterpark closes at 7pm!!!! Makes no sense. Rooms are Sub par AND if it rains and there is lighting or thunder within 5 miles they will close the park down for a minimum of 30 min. After checking in and getting to the closed water park at about 4:45pm, I asked for my money back and left. I will say that the staff was very nice and professional however, I'd never go back.

The waterpark was fine, the rooms were terrible. We had bugs in ours.

I wouldn't give any star if I had a choice. We planned to visit this resort in Nov. Called the location multiple times before making reservation. Flew from New York with family to find out the their water park was closed for few days. I was upset because I called plenty of times before making the reservation and no-one mentioned about the water park being closed. There was no warning at the website either.
We had our mind set to relax at the resort and water park; breaking away from cold weather. It was really disappointing to find out the water park is closed after a flight with 4 kids under 10years.
Really bad customer service.

Not sure about the negative reviews. The resort itself along with the water park is a great facility to stay in Orlando. We stayed there for 5 days. Room was clean, carpet smelled fresh, cleaning services were very prompt, only this we felt missing was microwave in room. The staff was continuously cleaning and maintaining the rooms and pools. Water park is good to spend a day there and the pools on property offer relaxing environment.
Location is excellent having Universal and Disney within 15 mins drive. Most of the restaurants are on walking distance. We booked this hotel as part of vacation package and there was no extra fee charged as mentioned in few comments. We would definitely go back again.

Great water resort! Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from? But this was a really decent place! Came to enjoy Family Night on Saturday night using a groupon deal ($7). This gave our family some late night fun from 9:30PM-11PM: unlimited cotton candy and sno-cones, yard games, use of the indoor heated pools, a raffle, music, arcade, and a movie. They also have a poolside bar for the adults....Our 7 and 9 year olds had a great time tonight: They are currently KNOCKED OUT! .... shout out to Denise who was SUPER friendly and personable - showed us around the resort and walked us from the lobby to the pools. We will be returning, even if we didn t win that raffle! Hahaha!

Our toilet exploded while we were visiting and we found a terrible mold problem in the bathroom. The staff was quick to remedy the problem as best they could, but didn't offer any concessions. Wifi was slow and the park was closed while we were visiting. Staff was very helpful, though and I really appreciated their effort.

We stayed here on May 30 and June 1. On the 30th, there was a bad storm in the area that knocked out the power to most of the resort, as well as some other places on I drive. There were a lot of people that were really upset, and somewhat combative with the staff. From what I saw, the staff handed themselves quite professionally, even under an extreme level of stress. None of the issues that we encountered that night were the fault of the hotel, yet they decided to refund everyone who stayed there on the 30th. We didn't even ask for one and they refunded us. The only thing that I could say negatively is that the hours for the park said open until 9, but were closed at 7.

First I just visited the water park. Not bad a little run down especially the arcade had to find some one multiple times to handle broken machines. My major complaint was I felt like I was duped, got there enquired about which water park attraction were closed for repair, specifically asking if the big jungle park looking one was open was told yes and it was only the purple slide closed. Got in and the jungle park looking one was the one closed...

We stayed here Easter weekend room was clean the place is out dated but my kids had fun they have small area for slides pools and kiddie area also they have a mini bar ...we ate at their little snack place but you can Bring in food ...the night was not so good people were smoking weed and it was loud ...

Staff has no knowledge of how to do their jobs. They transfer back and forth then hang up on you when they don t have an answer.

Couple things got me about this place but the worse was a 4 o clock check in time the day is more then half over at this point if your going for just a day like we did I do. Not recommend it! You have to leave all your personal things in your car or locker neither of which is safe in the tourist areas the theft is to high to relax would ve been nice to had a room to secure my items clearly this place was not catering to its customers which brings me to the second thing they did to upset me I reserved pool side room they cost more ok I get it charge more for what s in demand but I didn t get poolside I got on the side by pool no view of pool means it s not pool side my view was of a block wall not worth the extra cash so I left feeling very upset and disappointed with coco key resort

My sister and I came to check in for our Christmas vacation earlier this week and the only good thing there was the
breakfast.. so delicious.. and the beds were comfortable enough. However, the room smelled like mildew, the towels were really rough, walls were paper thin enough to hear other people from other rooms, kids running around yelling all hours of the day especially overnight and the shower water pressure was too low making it take too long to clean ourselves up. Now for the cleaning staff, we appreciated the bedsheets and towels getting changed but we saw a cleaning staff member at a different door holding towels in one hand and a lit cigarette in the other.. that was disgusting! We were worried our towels would reek of smoke during our 3 night stay. This was all very unacceptable and a big waste of money I paid for our stay. We'll take our business elsewhere next time.

After seeing on their Facebook and website that they just remodeled their rooms I figure I would book them for a short family getaway. We were booked in a family suit and the room smelled like moldy mildew. There was no furniture in our room except the beds, even though the people next door to us had a table and chairs.The room also had no microwave. All they did was paint the walls because even the vent covers in the bathroom was rusty. Also the A/C in the room was so loud and vibrated horriblely. We ended up putting one of our bags on top of it to stop it from vibrating so badly. The hot tub had trash in the bottom of it and the jets did not even work. There was trash laying all around the pool area. Social distancing was not enforced. We ended up leaving early and went to another hotel. Never again will I stay at this hotel.

It's an affordable hotel. It was nice that we were able to have access to the water park. The room had a damp smell to it that's was the only downside.

Have some problem when check-in, and the midnight shift lady only mind about her "paperwork" and not trying to help
Besides, its a clean, friendly staff(except that lady of course) and have free shuttle bus to/from universal studio

Please look at this review!!! EVEYONE comes here and thinks its just a water park but its not...its a hotel with a resort inside. The waterpark is TINY and by tiny I mean SUPER tiny. My room had bedbugs just like other people are saying. My room smelled like my grandma (no offense grandma I still love you) but still the place was a meltdown since the beginning. The room service is also very rude. I only give it some stars because it was on International drive giving it a close approkimitly to some little street shops. But DONT STAY HERE!!! I rather pay the $59 or $50 somthing (not sure haven't been in a while) in Tampa. Its a good price for a FULL waterpark. And some cheap hotels are around the area over there.

I didn't have it but experience, but I didn't have a good one either. Blaze is old however it is renewed but smells like deodorant. Neighborhood is not the best. Good for a family with little on a budget

The water resort the best to play and walk around places in the area.

In the scheme of things the concept is great. However, upon checking in I was informed the key card machine was down. Ok, things happen beyond their control. Except the wait in the lobby to get someones attention to let me in my room was an unacceptable 20 minutes. Then another 15 minutes waiting at the door of the room to be let in. During this time my mother and kids were waiting in the car. Once in the room and settled we ordered food and then everyone started to get cleaned up for bed. During a shower we noticed the water was not draining and that the bathroom was flooded. We started picking up belongings because more water started to flood out of the bathroom as a large glob of sludge emptied out of the bath tub drain. So at 11:00 at night we had to pack up our room and move myself, my mother and 2 kids to another room. If you are still reading, hold on.... It gets better.... The new room, although bigger, had no microwave, no coffee, a leaking refrigerator and one working ac unit. At this point we were exhausted and gave up for the night. The next morning we decided to start with a positive outlook and go enjoy the water park. We stood in a long line waiting to be allowed in to the water park area to find out half of the slides were shut down due to mechanical issues. So we attempted to enjoy what was available, including an over crowded pool. We eventually gave in and headed for the regular hotel pool in hopes of a little bit of relaxing. We spent about 45 minutes in this pool until my mother discovered someone's child had pooped in the pool. Still reading?? I told you, it gets better... We all immediately headed for our room to shower and disinfect ourselves, but wait... We still had no key card. So we had to wait for someone to come up to the room and let us in. At this point I was livid, but still trying to maintain my composure. We all showered and dressed and decided to get away from the hotel, walk around the mall and get some dinner. When we arrived back at the hotel, we again, had to call to be let into our room because... Still, no key cards. I was then told it would be at least 30 minutes before someone could let us into our room. The room I have paid for, checked in to, that has all of my belongings in and I have to wait 30 minutes to be let in!?!? Ok, at this point the patience was out the window and I was done. I found someone who looked "important" and proceeded to unload on her as she walked me to the employee elevator to let me in my room. Thru all of this the only offer of compensation for the trouble has been a refund for the resort fee. I mean are you serious? I literally paid almost $400 to stay her and a resort fee is all my trouble is worth? I will NOT be staying at this resort again and I will NOT ever recommend it to any of my friends or family. If you are still reading, thanks for taking the time. If you choose to give the place a try, I hope your time is more enjoyable then mine was.

Awesome hotel with lots of activities for the kids indoor and outdoor! Debbie one of the manager's made things right when we had issues with our room! Thank you for the awesome service and hospitality!

Everything was great except the food. They definitely need to step it up for the price they charge. Im not a picky eater by any means and i also work for the food industry and i was not a fan!

Regretfully it was very dirty hotel room. Looks like the cleaning of the rooms is not a priority there.
We arrived after 10 PM and my wife should wash the floor.
