A place and no more wonderful than you feel that you are out of the whole world in the island of a special king came to the distinguished person in it everything you say beauty and magnificence, I promise to go to Hurghada and to this restaurant you will feel joy and happiness. Also the kids will enjoy the very enjoyment and will love the family back to the place many, many times.

Such a very bad experience,they treat people according to their nationality and this is the hotel rules as they told me shame on you !! Not advised to spend your money their no customer service or hospitality at this place in return of your money!

The building is fantastic and the location is serious but the workers are not good in terms of cleanliness and the hotel service lacks cleanliness and hotel service in the rooms

The food is good but is constantly repeated. Alyacarta Egyptian, Moroccan and Italian were in all. I liked only Moroccan.

Room 3027, overlooking the pool, is halfway between the beach and restaurants.

The length of the beach is very long, but there is only one small lagoon where you can go in and swim, in other bays there are no calls, that is, you cannot swim. All vacationers want to relax near the lagoon, so there are no places on the beach in this place. People take seats from 5 am !!!
The hotel lacks a pantone. If they do, we will definitely come again.

The complex is in need of renovation, but has its charm. With us 3x technicians had to come into the room, twice because of the faulty air conditioning (water was in the room) and 1x because of the two days broken door lock (room could not be closed)! 4 times it happened that the door could not be opened anymore. Great, as the way to the front desk are very far! Commendable is the regular bus in the area.
Yes, there was still the food. We were four adults who sooner or later had massive stomach / intestinal problems !!! Great on vacation only the bare minimum to eat! The complaints disappeared only at home.
Sorry, but we will not spend any holidays there!

Water came out of the ceiling in the room and nothing was done. Not possible. So the toilet in the bathroom could not be used.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms, sea view, good cuisine (not to finish), pretty good reef along the hotel for snorkelers. Internet in the entire hotel, on the beach and in hotel rooms. There is a router in every room and although the speed of the internet is sometimes not enough for messenger calls, watching YouTube, etc., it is enough. Every day the room bar replenishes free drinks such as Pepsi, 7up and still water. Cosmetics in the bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner and lotion). The bathroom has a hair dryer. The rooms have a dressing room with hangers and shelves for clothes, a safe, individually controlled air conditioning, flat 40 inch TV without smart, so if someone wants to watch something on TV, they have tele5, Polonia and 4funTV at their disposal or they can take their own Chromecast or something similar. Helpful and non-tip staff, although they are always happy when their work is appreciated. The hotel has a medical clinic, a pharmacy and only 4 shops, one with tea and spices, the second with handbags, the third with jewelry and the fourth with lipstick souvenirs where the prices of the latter are overwhelming. Certainly, half the cups you can buy at the airport for $ 3 to $ 7. We went with the Coral Travel office and before arriving at the airport, the guide stopped the bus at the souvenir shop where the prices were shown on the products in dollars. For example, a mug $ 6.75, and 6 fridge magnets $ 6.25. There, you will certainly be able to buy souvenirs at a price half the price offered by the hotel shop, the owner of which is not inclined to bargain. For example, a mug of $ 10 and a set of magnets $ 15. Visiting the souvenir shop on the way to the airport is rather included in the return plan, so you can rest assured that you will also manage to buy something souvenirs (mugs, magnets, sweets, etc.). Returning to the hotel itself, a bus runs around it, which will deliver you to breakfast or dinners. The hotel employees walk on the beach, offering additional paid attractions, such as quads, massages, diving, etc. The hotel is quite a bit away from Hurghada and the access is rather unattractive due to the wasted time, especially during short 7-day stays. The hotel has 3 swimming pools and two of them have bars serving drinks. The beach along the hotel is sandy with a few towel grabs, there are a couple of bars for showers and toilets. Mostly, entering the water requires crossing a reef, but there are some man-made coves and lagoons where barefoot entry is possible. This is our fifth visit to Egypt, previously 2 times Hurghada, 1 time Sharm and once Marsal Alam and referring to the others, I rate this hotel very positively as a whole and no stomach ailments, which have happened to me 3 times. We visited Egypt during the pandemic from October 18 to 25 and both the weather and water temperature were sufficient, around 30 degrees. People with domestic testing are the first to leave the plane and check in.

This is our fourth time in 3.5 years, and after trying another, higher rated hotel, all I can say is that the Citadel - whether as azure or albatross - is the best and nicest hotel in Egypt. The new management makes many small changes that we currently perceive as consistently positive. The plant itself can not be described in words or photos, it makes one breathless and speechless. We have booked again for December. Only note: we would wish, that the prices would be raised a bit and with these automatically the current guest structure ..... A real ALL (and not as in eg the Sentido-hotels "partial inclusive") inclusive and should have his price. We certainly do not go anywhere else in Egypt.

The hotel offers something for everyone. We go there regularly and feel well there. It is clean, the staff are mostly friendly and the food has something for every taste.

The resort is very pretty. Lighting in the evening is pretty authentic. The buildings are made in a very special "stone/ marmite" style. Only big thing i have to criticise is the LONG way you have to walk because the resort js very huge. If you are at the end of it you have to walk 15 min. To the reception. Everything else..pretty good for now :)

A fantastic time. I highly recommend this hotel and the entire Albatros group. The complex is gigantic. I had the opportunity for guests in building 2 with a view of the harbor. The plus was that we were relatively close to everything. During the evening concerts it was a little louder in the room, but you could watch the performances from the balcony. Three pools, two heated in the winter. A bar by every pool. Three beaches and a bar on each. Two bars and a cafe in the lobby. Several restaurants with really good food: continental, Moroccan, Italian. The hotel really cares about order and the comfort of rest of guests. I recommend it again and I will definitely come back to the Albatros network.

I liked the hotel, there is a place for everyone to swim, children, adults, a beautiful reef. What they write a little space is not true, there are enough beaches. Tuba and Hussein, we have not met such normal people in Egypt yet, thanks to them. The staff is not intrusive, irreplaceable but on the spot, thanks to them too. In general, the rest is fun.

I'm here for now. Great ambience right in front of the Red Sea. Nice big room with sea view. Early March temperatures of ~ 24 degrees. Water 21 degrees. It can be sustained well. Within the resort there are shuttle buses. Kitchen very varied and rich. But for me, only all inclusive is interesting. The style is quite different. He has something for me !!!!!

The food isnt 5 star. One waiter wasnt respectfull at all. But its a beautiful hotel and clean room. Nice peope friendly waiters ( except the one i mentioned). There are allot of german people. So they have a lot german food animation not for other tourist.

We went to the hotel after quarantine from TUI, I liked it, there was, of course, at the beginning of a small glove compartment with a settlement at the administration, it seems that there were not enough places for everyone at once, but we insisted, and quickly got a room in the 3rd section, 2nd floor (center of the hotel complex) , overlooking the pool and the sea. The hotel is built of coral, the architecture is in the style of an old fortress. The three of us settled, there were beds, there were not enough towels, but after contacting the reception, we quickly eliminated the shortcomings. Rooms are large with lots of marble. The renovation is not fresh, but everything is clean and tidy. We ordered a standard with a sea view.In general, the impressions are very positive, this is the opinion of the whole family, you can choose the beaches at will, there are many of them, initially they chose the hotel so that there was an opportunity to simply enter the sea on the sand and swim in corals. This hotel allows it. At the same time, I note that the corals and sea views under water to the animal world turned out to be better than what we were shown on a special excursion, which was chosen according to the criterion of the best for surfing and diving. Therefore, I immediately advise everyone who loves to dive, snorkel (mask with a snorkel) and observe the diversity of the Red Sea, this is here, you will not go wrong. I advise you to swim out for underwater views from the bay near the disco area, swim out of the common bay and to the right along the coast. See the diagram on the map in the posted photos. After the first swims with a snorfing mask, we really were just in a pleasant shock from what we saw (really, like in a large aquarium), so I immediately advise you to either bring a mask with a snorkel, or buy it on the spot, you won't regret it ;-). Another tip, try mango, if the season is right, you can ask the representatives of the travel agency where to get it. For those who like to take pictures - I am sure you will find places, many beautiful views and night illumination. In the evenings, entertainment programs. All calculations are in dollars. I do not advise changing for local money. Also advice to buy a sim card for normal Internet access. There is Internet in this hotel, there are routers in the rooms, there is on the beach, but in reality, when everyone comes to the rooms or to the beach, the Internet bandwidth is not enough. Alcohol for an amateur who wants to have a high-quality strategic stock))), take it in duty free. In general, the conclusion - I recommend the hotel! Price-performance ratio.

Very nice hotel! The rooms are great, the design of the buildings is also great, thanks to which each room has a balcony overlooking the sea. They feed well, the sea in general is great. There are several lagoons where you can swim, but you need to have swimming shoes. There are several swimming pools and a jacuzzi on site. In the evenings, there is live music in the central restaurant.
Now from the cons: not very well cleaned but it did not spoil my positive impression of the hotel BUT they are: in the photo will be seen. I would like to wash these things better.
Towels are changed every day, the bed is also clean, so in principle everything is fine, I put 5.

The place is very beautiful and the design is great .. The food is good, but the desserts are few and not good. The room has a great view, but there are some rooms that need to be renovated because they do not fit the 5-star standard .. The hotel is quiet and there are no parties or animation and interest in foreigners is more in terms of the atmosphere and nightlife. .

The facility has the potential for the full number of stars ..... but unfortunately the service is absolutely not satisfactory, so only two stars for the beautiful reef and the architecture of the hotel. It started right at the arrival. At the front desk we were handed only the key. After two requests, an employee was called in agony, bringing us and the suitcases to our room. During the stay I experienced many guests who dragged their suitcases themselves and disoriented over the cobblestones of the huge area. Now to the accommodation. The room is under no circumstances compatible with the category 5 star hotel. The inventory seems worn out and consumed. The flat screen is a normal tube, etc ... At breakfast, we had to wait 15 minutes for a cup of coffee. Key experience: I had to address the waiter twice aloud before it disappeared unimpressed in the direction of the kitchen. And so this "service" took over our entire stay. Of course, this is subjective and is perceived by other guests as not so negative. But we are Egypt fans and have been to Hurghada many times and have comparisons. There are hotels where you would like to experience that and the Egyptian hospitality reminds you ... the Citadel certainly is not one of them!

Sahl Hasheesh is a unique place in Red Sea governorate as it is low land so you can enjoy nice sea breeze all day not as hot as Hurghada for example
the resort is very very big so it involves so much walking.
Definitely it is not a wheelchair friendly resort
no elevators even in the reception area.
even pools only have steps.
food was good with good variety n quality
Rooms are very spacious with lovely view direct to the sea or pools.
