Citadel Azur Resort Review

From the architectural style very extensive and fascinating plant has the real charm. We stayed in block 5 therefore short ways to the beautiful beach. A really nice hotel, we stayed there in early october for 13 days as a couple. The food was really good and varied, the area and the rooms in general very clean. You can snorkel or relax in one of the two infinity pools. There is another pool which is used for the entertainment program. The hot tubs are unfortunately in need of renovation, but I expect this will be tackled soon. Generally, problems and concerns are taken care of immediately. Excursions we booked externally, everything worked well. All in all, we were really happy. 5 * holidays

Sooo sorry that the owners changed and Citadel Azur became Albatros :( . The hotel was very familiar. When I arrived there for the first time - I was delighted. Now this pleasure is 2 times more expensive, and not sure that the service will be at the level. Exactly there will not come back.

A wonderful huge, clean hotel, in the 5th building, renovated rooms, close to the beach with a sunset and a reef.
The sea for every taste with sand, setting, shallow, depth, there are lagoons.

Food - well fed, lobsters are not served :))) but there will be red fish, shrimp, squid for dinner.
Meat, chicken is always there.

The staff is friendly, they always help, they don't ask for tips, they don't impose them. Cleaning every day, leaving Euro-clean.

I do not recommend it to older people, because The territory is large, there is no shade on the way to restaurants, this is the only drawback of the hotel, it will be hard, although the shuttle bus runs around the hotel and will take you anywhere.

The hotel is petfect. It has nice beach with own rif. And rif very close to beach, so you don't need to spend alot of time for going to the beep water.

Reception and housekeeping not really up to standard. The food is sub par and not on par with other resorts. Service can be improved a great deal.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and I'm still really excited! We had a wonderful holiday. From the friendly staff to the food really everything was right. I can not understand the "bad" reviews here absolutely! Thanks to the whole team for this brilliant holiday! Nice architecture. Plant u. Room very clean. But everything is connected with very extensive reasons. Inclines and steps. The breakfast was very good, otherwise not five stars for dinner. Positive, there are enough loungers available and reservations are not made in the early morning.

The style is new .. all on limestone .many pools are available with Jacuzzi. Also you can enjoy the beach and two lakes.
The resturant and food are good . The staff are friendly.
Only the reception is not airconditioned .
The rooms amenities are little bit old .
Except for the IP phones . All rooms can enjoy thw sea view. And sea view from the shower !
I would recommend more beach activities, animation team , and larger snack bar

Rested at the hotel 2 times. The first time was super. The territory is amazing. The rooms are chic. The problem is with the sea. The territory is huge, but there are few good visits. But for snorkeling and diving is just a class. one small run at the end of the beach. The first time the service was excellent in restaurants with a buffet, the second time the staff didn t pay attention at all. Even if they left a tip. A la carte restaurants both times were at the height. Clean, tasty, cozy. The guys at the bars and at the reception also helped in everything. I think we'll be back :) By the way, it's time to update the number of rooms.

We are in the hotel at the beginning of December which has its pros and cons. The upside is that there are no queues anywhere, sunbeds are available, the waiters are only for you, etc.
The downside is that at 15.30 it is after sunbathing and an hour later it is dusk and soon it is dark.
As for the disadvantages - for such a (5-star) hotel, alcohol is poor, coffee is nasty, in the beach bar (at the 5th block) right after opening it is missing almost everything: coffee - still broken coffee machine, beer, some spirits ... only the service saves this bar. Incidentally, many restaurants, bars, etc. were closed ...
The next thing is the magnetic cards for the rooms - to open the room you need to quickly insert the card and remove it twice. If you do it too slowly, you won't open the room. A whole new group of compatriots, the first time they called the reception desk for help. There is no chance that the elderly will cope on their own. Apparently, there are also normal magnetic cards, but I do not know why they do not give them right away, only after the intervention of tourists.
Regardless of these minor inconveniences, I gave a strong 4 stars because I believe that I can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience to all able-bodied tourists - hoping that after Covida it will return to its heyday - the potential certainly has -
Why efficient? As there are many levels (8) and tourists with mobility problems may have difficulty getting around the hotel grounds.

A superb stay in a beautiful club with a most pleasant staff, real restaurants with a varied and tasty food. Order and cleanliness reign supreme everywhere.
The best club for a very, very long time for the price of a lot of filthy club.
Isolation is not a concern with the organization set up by the club and the proximity of the airport.
