This is our fourth time in 3.5 years, and after trying another, higher rated hotel, all I can say is that the Citadel - whether as azure or albatross - is the best and nicest hotel in Egypt. The new management makes many small changes that we currently perceive as consistently positive. The plant itself can not be described in words or photos, it makes one breathless and speechless. We have booked again for December. Only note: we would wish, that the prices would be raised a bit and with these automatically the current guest structure ..... A real ALL (and not as in eg the Sentido-hotels "partial inclusive") inclusive and should have his price. We certainly do not go anywhere else in Egypt.
