Beautiful, unusual design, all of the shellfish. Grotto system In the heat of the sun, it is not necessary to go out to get into another building. There are own gear and quads, reefs, pool, and various beaches.

Service and food quality not suitable for 5 stars resort

Room lock wasn t working properly, had to change key every time. I asked many many times to check the door, they never did. So annoying. Otherwise decent.

I fell in love with this hotel from the first sight. Service at a high level, each room has access to the sea. For breakfasts, lunches, dinners, you are always by the sea. This is such a thrill. We will definitely come back again. 5 out of 5. The only remoteness of the area and the hotel staff refused to open the taxi gate. Only they can be used which is many times more expensive.

A very, very solid place. We have never regretted it. The mother-in-law was taken from the room to the beach and back :) (personally notes the bichboy Ibrahim and the driver Ahmed).
In bars - Denis L is 99% right. If you give $ - they pour it into glass and smile, you don't give it in silence even into paper ones.
I would like to note the bartender Zakaria - the highest class, excellent English and equanimity.
On October 29, there was a big arrival of locals for the holiday - they were a little crowded at the bars ...

In and of itself a nice facility but problems with the room door. Usually does not open, at the front desk you will only sent away with new cards but then not go. A lot of the waiters are extremely unfriendly to single women. Food Okay! But would not come here, everything is getting very old, urgently needed renovations are made during operation. Bothers me something.

The hotel is very, very, very large and fraught, any entertainment, nothing but 3 swimming pool on the large area, the sea, rocks, all, but for diving and snorkeling, very good, landscapes, good, restaurants, weak, no snacking in the bars, the hotel is not interesting. For very long distances and exaggerated stewardship treatment is excellent and friendly in general not recommended for family

Everything was excellent, it is above and beyond from what I expected. There is so much to do, the food is excellent and the staff super respectful and polite. Every night there is something fun to do, live music, dj parties theather. The lagoons were my favorite. Will defenetly go back on our next
vacation.

I have already got to know several hotel complexes in Egypt. But none was like the Citadel Resort. The facility is very spacious and fits perfectly into the landscape. I was particularly impressed by the architecture of the accommodations. Every room has a wonderful view of the Red Sea. You can even see the sea from the shower. The rooms are large and attractively furnished. The complex itself invites you to take a walk. You feel a bit like in a medieval city. Despite the large number of hotel guests, there are times when you hardly meet anyone on the streets. A line bus runs within the system for further routes. It's amazingly calm and relaxed. The different pools are optimally designed. There are enough loungers and seats available.
The staff is always friendly, helpful, competent and not superficially looking for tips. Of course it is gladly taken. But I've never seen my hand held up before a performance. Very pleasant, because you like to give something back to the staff.

Excursions are offered, but I didn't use them. Diving and snorkeling are excellent.
In conclusion: an extremely restful and relaxed vacation, which of course was over much too quickly. Thanks to everyone there!

The Citadel Azur Resort is a very large complex with pools and sea bays. Animation available. Buffet restaurants as well as a la carte. Very nice facility with nice rooms. In the evening live music / shows in the amphitheater.

Very nice u. generous hotel area - you feel more like in a small town - with its own port u. Restaurants. Many different room categories u. Sizes, all with sea views-more or less. Great coral reef right outside the door - definitely snorkeling. Many information also on HolidayCheck. For taxi rides download the app ABC taxi, is much cheaper than soda on site and works fine. Wi-Fi in the hotel modest, the best ne SIM card at the airport buy, for example. 8GB for 12, -. Quad tour, bookable in the hotel, for 2 hours for 25, - is highly recommended. Have fun and it is queerfeld directly from the hotel.

Beautiful, spacious hotel complex directly on the Red Sea. Architecture unique. Access to the sea is best with bathing shoes. Bus ride from the airport about 20 minutes

Really cool hotel, both location and architecture. Very large rooms and chic, the beach area is also large and for different tastes! Food is also great, there is everything!

I love it. The personal here is very friendly and good. Love the scenery here, there's open way in the Red Sea. Also I liked the food in Citadel Restaurant, pretty simple to choose your meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Well maintained rooms, and the cleaner goes every day after breakfast to clean up your room. The personal also very good speak different languages such like Russian or English. As I said I really love this hotel and I hope that I will visit Citadel again ;)

The rooms are really dated.

A good place to relax, look at corals and fish without leaving the hotel. Next to sea saw a Stingray, Moray eels and stone fish. The water can not go without special shoes, shoes can be taken for free near the beach.
The pool was not heated in winter.
The hotel is pretty far from Hurghada and the shopping centre.
In General, we liked it.

The hotel is not bad, only the timeless repairs. Away from Hurghada, the best taxi to get to the city. The hotel itself organizes trips to coral reefs and other waterways as there is a marina. Food can be found almost around the clock. Lots of restaurants, bars.

A very impressive hotel, construction, location and service are perfect. We are the first time in Egypt and totally thrilled. Thank you for the wonderful holiday

Probably the most beautiful hotel we have ever visited. The rooms are amazing, the beach/corals are a few steps away with plenty of colourful fish, gorgeous pools and lots of restaurants to choose from. With the hotels own marina you could arrive with your own yacht . The only reason we gave them 4 stars is because the hotel resort was simply to big for us bit it was still an amazing experience

In winter, it is cold here, but few children and people in general at the hotel ..

At first glance a nice hotel on the second view shabby and dirty. If you tip enough you will be treated very well. The rooms in building 7 where we were had a great view of the sea, but it was also very noisy as some More

The best hotel in Hurghada. Food is excellent, awesome architecture. The sea with the largest coral reef, many marine inhabitants: hedgehogs, fish, crabs, turtles. There are a lot of impressions.

It was wonderful days, of all 7 days I was satisfied with my companion. Even the evenings were entertaining there. The accommodation and food just fine. Would use this hotel again, the construction did not bother us. Everything was very clean, rooms as well as the area.

Unfortunately, the staff is not courteous and very unmotivated. The food is one-sided and lacking in quality. It's a shame, it has potential, but the atmosphere and good food make the biggest contribution.

Hotel of a very good standard, with great architecture, the meals are very good, the rooms are very large and very well appointed with a shower overlooking the sea. I can only recommend this hotel because it is the second time I'm going back and for the people who want to go scuba diving it's really the perfect place with a great drop right outside the hotel.

The best hotel ever. We like to travel everywhere and the hotel architecturally surpasses everything. It has always been very good because unfortunately there are few attractions for children. if there is enough space to build something. Unfortunately for children very boring, not a slide there. Therefore we are forced to travel elsewhere. Eating was not great either but in Egypt it is everywhere you need not get upset you have no children you are in good hands there
