From the valet to the front desk the staff could use some customer service training. The room was mediocre and the design means you can hear everything that's happening in the lobby the entire night. Extremely disappointing since we've wanted to stay there for years.

Only visit here so far was for a NYE party. For a place that presents itself as high end, I thought the staff (counter, bar, valet) were more 2 star hotel. Nothing against them- they were all polite and accommodating. I think it's more of a commentary on their training. Party was great. Singers Kelsie and Tino were awesome.

We had an employee Christmas party for the 2nd year in a row. My favorite parts were the amazing service in the lounge prior to the party! The Toasted Almond Nightcap should not be missed if you are there! The dinner they served was truly amazing! I have yet to stay there, but I am greatly looking forward to it!

The location was amazing. Has a great pool that over looks the lake, but was very disappointed with the experience I had with the staff. Never have had so much confusion checking in/checking out. From being told we have to pay for Silver Dollar tickets we already paid for, to being told we owed $90 at checkout because the worker who checked us in did it wrong. After reading so many positive reviews, I was highly disappointed with my experience.

Holiday inn offers nicer rooms and better food.

Holiday inn offers nicer rooms and better food.

My family rented TWO rooms here intentionally due to the amenities offered and the "luxury" offered for this establishment. @ $300 a night we didnt even get a mini fridge in our room... but that was far least of our worries.

We ate every meal at this location which was above $1000 for the 4 adults and 2 children in the 3 days we stayed. Their food, we were REALLY looking forward to... we all where VERY disappointed...

the food was just horrible. Lunch was bland and unseasoned, cold...garlic bread was regular bread no garlic... they only offered water for every meal and you have to ask if they have soda or alcohol... we did have an amazing waitress named France(2nd lunch we had her) and she was very down to earth. Tipped her well. She was very curtious and polite(lunch)
Memorial day they offered a bbq outside which was pleasant but it was just frozen patties room temp served with bread and other microwavable stuff... for $35 a person beer also $6 each

Seemed like they where the powder type of egg for breakfast and soggy microwaved bacon, frozen sausage links ... I'm not at all a picky eater but I was questioning everything ...cold powdered eggs? Really ...

their beer was $6 a glass also at the bar....

Dinner time we had different newer waiter for dinner who didnt have a name tag but it took an 1hr and 45 mins to get our dinner... and they would not allow us to sit outside they claimed that it was reserved ....but they had 7 tables open for the remainder of the additional 1hrs we sat there ...(almost 3hrs total) the waitress told us the same lie for lunch the next day... which was a huge disappointment... literally tables lined up outside to eat at but you cant.

I ordered crab cakes and there was shell inside of the meat.... I had BONE? inside of my steak... I bit into it and everyone looked at me because they heard the crunch and we all thought I broke a molar... dinner bill was $350 ... which would have been fine if the food was worth it...ordered a medium steak.... it came out charred and well done.
They have a little candy store/breakfast store on the main floor which wasn't bad. It offered coffee an ice cream...general snacks, muffins... that seemed actually fresh and healthy.

I really wished this place was better. I was looking forward to luxury food while enjoying the beautiful view. The actual structure building inside outside was amazing to look at. They sank some serious money into it, and it was beautiful. Loved everything about the lobby and the ponds inside. Exterior was fabulous, live birds, a guy dressed up in a animal suit for kids handing out fresh cookies...

One positive thing is they offer a racecar driver to shuttle you down to the boat dock where you can rent boats. When I say racecar driver...this guy literally did 35mph in reverse with two 4 year olds and my 3mo pregnant wife in the shuttle bus... but that's here nor there. Free ride right ? If you dont believe me, have a friend of management go in an take a shuttle down to the boat dock. We went twice and each driver was breaking record speeds in the shuttle van.

Pontoon was excellent. Had a nice day on the lake.

we all where going to visit the spa but were so disappointed in the food quality we ended up venturing out and went else where.

I never leave negative reviews such as this, but these items I mentioned need to he addressed. Being a business owner here myself I try to pick and choose where our family visits and try to pick the places for the best memories... this one was disappointing... truly. The facility has more than enough staff to address the food problems they have here.

Positive things for this place.. valet was very nice, staff was very nice, clean... property well maintained...pool was clean, tennis courts, birds, bathrooms where excellent, they encourage you to leave a review on Expedia also, so I suppose I will?

The hotel is listed as dog friendly but it is more like dog tolerant. We got a phone call one day when we were out telling us our dog was barking. Our dog does bark when it hears someone at the door but is not a continuous yapper, so we knew something must of happened. When we got back to the hotel there was message on our phone from housekeeping a little before we got the phone call from the front desk. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door so they must have "disturbed" our dog in order for you her to bark enough that the hotel called us to let us know. They also stuck us in the "guests with dog room" because it smelled like wet dog. The view was obstructed by the large and very noisy fans for the air conditioning. Many hotels we have stayed in are friendly with our dogs but we were treated like we had the plague by most staff. Our dogs travel everywhere with us so they are used to the hotel "protocol". I will not go back to this hotel, I will find a different hotel that truly is dog friendly.

We booked the Presidential Suite for our 20th we...

We booked the Presidential Suite for our 20th wedding anniversary. I was willing to pay for the best considering the occasion.
When I booked our stay I was made aware of
*no room service
*seating was limited for the restaurant
What I wasn t made aware of was the terrible and run down condition of the hotel.
*Upon arrival I was told
no daily housekeeping (supposedly I received a email stating this, however they conveniently didn t have my email address)
*that I would have to call and ask for more towels, shampoo etc.
*The two AC units couldn t keep the room cool
*we couldn t even use their spa because we wanted a couples massage.
So, someone rec Big Cedar Spa, we spent most of the next day at Big Cedar being completely pampered, we tried checking into their rooms but they were full.
*the landscaping is not being maintained
*upon arrival we noticed these white things in our Presidential Suite hanging from the ceilings some were hanging down 1/2 inch (pic below)
I made the staff aware of this and their response thanks for letting us know
I guess I assumed they would send someone up to see what it was. Never did.
*we set trash outside our room, took 2 days for someone to pick it up.
We left a day early due to all of these problems. (informed the front desk at 2pm) they said we won t charge you for today since you are checking out late.
Front desk tried telling me I already had a 20% discount (when I booked) because of some of these inconveniences, I said no I got that becomes I simply asked is the price you quoted the best you can do. They took off the joke of a resort fee. (This isn t a resort it s a very very overpriced run down hotel)
And then gave me a whopping 10% more off.
So it sounds really good that I basically got half off, which I still paid over 1700.00 for 3 nights. We are spending our last night of our anniversary trip in a Drury inn that is 1/5 of the price and 10 times nicer.
If we ever come back to Branson, we will stay at Big Cedar!
Don t waste your money on Chateau!

This place has a gorgeous setting on Table Rock Lake! The entire resort is beautiful decorated nicely and clean! Love the inside waterfall! The people are more than kind and very polite and helpful! We will be back and probably will bring our family at some point! Our kids are grown. We would recommend this resort to anyone for a nice quiet peaceful get away! The pool areas are very inviting with a hot tub inside and out and the kiddos can enjoy a small enclosed playground! I must add they have their own personal boat marina too! A must visit!

Will mostly like never end up coming back to this "Resort". I had never been to branson before so I thought I'd go all out and ended up regretting it. Could of spent half the money I spent at this place elsewhere and go more luxury. For starters there was 10-15 spiders on my balcony lakeview room that was never resolved. We called down to the front desk to see if they would clear the balcony so we could enjoy the view. They said they would come an never ended up showing up. They advertise room service but they DO NOT have room service. We were woken up at 5am both nights due to our neighbors screaming at each other. We told the front desk about the first night and asked if we could move rooms or see if they could move then it happened a second night and I could not get out of there fast enough! Front desk probably answered the phone once. Elevator malfunctioned while we were on it and ended up getting stuck and prying the doors open. Tried to call and talk to a manager but no one returned my calls. Just not happy at all with the whole experience.

While I can't say it's the absolute best value and can't say the menus offered all the food or drinks I could imagine, I can still say it was a great experience.

When tested or bested, the staff were still very friendly and helpful. The entire facility just had a great sense of order and professionalism.

Classy joint :)

Completely had fasle advertising. When booking the room I purposely asked for a room with a view because it was our anniversary. Settled on a "partial lake view" for a hefty upcharge per night. By partial view I assumed I would be able to SEE water from the room. Not the case. In order to get any view you had to get out on the balcony and crook your head around. Needless to say I was disappointed and told them about the false advertising at checkout. I was then told my concern would be brought up to the manager and I would receive an e-mail. The e-mail never came. I would suggest going to a different hotel and I will most definitely not bring my business back to this "4 star" joke of a hotel.

Me and my wife s 3yr anniversary, is going to be one to remember!
From the greeters at the front door, to the room service we had, the friendliness of everyone is by far second to none! Most high class Hotels or resorts We ve been to have a upper class snobbish attitude that has always rubbed me the wrong way. Not this place, smiles and good attitudes, one guy ask if he could help unpack and take the stuff to the room, with smile! We will be back, no doubt... the hotel is quite, nice, clean, and got a steel on the view as you can see!!

Looking forward to next time already!!

Beautiful hotel with an amazing pond with fish and mini waterfalls in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean and very classily decorated. They also have a private marina for your use with boat, canoe, and jet-ski rentals. I would absolutely stay here again!

I just had a long weekend at this resort. Even at off season rates it was not a good value. The location and the views are great. The building is nice, the decks and patios and outside seating facilities are great. But there are two problems: the place feels a bit unfinished and the staff is untrained.

By unfinished I mean there are incongruencies. For example, the bar is filled with great leather furniture, there are windows over looking the lake, there is a beautiful stone fireplace. All well put together. And then there is the acoustic tile ceiling. What a disconnect! How did that happen. Completely ruins the room.

Then in my $250/night room with a great view and nice furniture I find particle board. There should not be a piece of particle board anywhere in any $250/night room. Again, how does this happen.

The staff is the biggest problem. They seem to be totally untrained. No idea of what customer service should look like at this level. And some of them are so geriatric that they are unable to function.

Great resort. Sad experience. I won't be going back.

The Chateau, was amazing with all of the food. Not only was the food good tasting but there was so much of an abundance of it. The view was top of the line no matter where I was and the people that worked there actually were there to serve you. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I stayed!

Nice place for a weekend getaway. Room was large and the resort has all kinds of amenities. Would come back again! I especially liked the Champagne and Chocolate covered Strawberries in the room as park of our package. Sipping and enjoying the view and a little romance was great.

Wonderful staff and nice hotel. The mountain view standard room was quite spacious. The resort fee includes access to a little movie theater showing older family friendly movies throughout the day. You can hear the waterfall and birds from your room which is nice. The indoor pool is decent and open 24 hours. I would recommend staying here.

This place exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at the main lobby we were treated like royalty by every employee on site. I'm not a world class traveler, but I've stayed at some high end resorts including Toronto's 4-Seasons & the Hotel Del Coronado near San Diego. This place was as gorgeous, clean & relaxing as one could ask for. Very good restaurants & great sweet shop. Terrific pool. Wife loved the spa. Highly recommended.

This is a true gem! The staff is amazing and regardless if you want to rest and relax or take in all the attractions Branson has to offer this is the place to stay. The location is very easy to get around the area, the view is amazing regardless if you have a lake view or mountain view. We have already started planning our next trip!

The hotel was a good value (with our half price voucher). I would not, however, pay $180 for a room very comparable to a double tree etc. The restaurant was somewhat disappointing for the price. Easily a $15 meal priced above $30. I had the salmon (not bad but the candied beets were hard and the filet a bit overcooked) and my wife had the ribs (better). The staff was pleasent overall. Unsure if a return is in our future.

Very nice facilities, clean. Totally impressed with the place. The employees are kind and accommodating, I made reservations to be on 3rd floor because we were bringing our little dog ; then decided we wouldn't bring him since we wanted higher up with lake view and a balcony, when I called there were no issues or questions asked to change and was taken care of quickly . The pools are very nice, clean and you feel like your on vacation in Jamaica because of the music they play. It's relaxing. The lake view and sunsets are absolutely beautiful. It's a quick and easy jaunt to the main strip and all activities , restaurants and shopping yet out of the way of all the traffic and noise which we like. Nice fitness center small but nice. The sweet shop ,well is sweet. Only thing lacking was a refrigerator in the room. Did not have a jacuzzi tub but that was fine. They have a nice hot tub at the pool. We enjoyed going to the lake side beach across the road and a short drive to get there called Moonshine beach. 5.00 per car but the water is clean and pretty clear. Outdoor showers to get the sand off, restrooms and picnic tables under shelter. Hope you enjoy the review. Come have fun and enjoy!! We did and would/will come back.

It is a beautiful resort. The help was great. We did not eat at any of the restaurants so we can not comment on them. However; BUYER BEWARE OF THE "LAKEVIEW ROOMS" our lake view consisted of some rooftops with a bunch of heaters on them, about 50 condensing units running and making a lot of noise (so much for a nice quiet morning on the lake) some dumpsters and some containers. This was a total misrepresentation of "lake view". I spoke to them about it at checkout. I was told to mention it next time and they might upgrade us. I really don't think there will be a next time for us.
