Great view from the room. Rooms are very nice and spacious!
Amazing place to stay. You have all you should want there. Spa, Coffee Shop with all kinds of goodies. Food and a Movie Theatre
Workers were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely spectacular view of Table Rock Lake!!
Our room was gorgeous, everything is clean and very uniquely furnished. Dining at the hotel is also wonderful, and the staff is great.
This is a really nice place and the service is wonderful. Every time I've stayed there it's been a really good experience.
The Registration:
We stood in line for about 20 minutes. Although, I think the people asking so many questions is the cause.
The Room:
I've stayed in a lot nicer for less. In fairness, the beds are cozy. The AC is outdated but the room will eventually cool down.
The Staff:
Overall they are pleasant and look professional. I will say that the gentlemen at the door are good. But one of them left us hanging. We were waiting for him to shuttle us. No harm though.
The Food Service:
Do yourself a favor and go down town!!! They are slow and way overpriced!!! I ordered a Chateau Club with Sweet Potato Fries. It came out and the fries were soggy. I let the waitress know. She comes back with a bowl of burnt soggy fries.
I think next time I come to Branson I will choose the Hilton by the Bass Pro shop down town.
Went to a conference here great place. Wish the rooms had fridges though.
Hotel on a hill with great design and lake view ,beautiful atrium w indoor cascades and water falls restaurant where we enjoyed delicious lunch.
Misha, exellent server, friendly, professional and very accommodating. The place to go in Branson Mo
I am not sure of the entire resort's condition, but we were in room 521, very poor maintenance to say the least... peeling wallpaper, mildew stains in the bath tile and ceiling, the bathtub was almost brown from previous guests dirt or dead skin (chlorine beach or CLR should work), the bathroom mirror was full of dust as well as dirty carpet under the desk and bed. In the five days we were there, housekeeper 'forgot' to replenish water, toilet paper, tissues, or toiletries EVERYDAY.
We encountered a couple of wait staff at the grill that acted as if we were 'bothering' them, service was slow and or lacking urgency..
They call it a smoke-free hotel but they allow smoking as long as you are right outside the lobby. It was impossible to enjoy the views from the balcony right outside. Too many other areas all around the resort were also in need of repair or basic maintenance: peeling paint, dirty bathroom by indoor pool, loose handrails going down to tennis courts, etc., etc. .
They charge you an additional $25 per day, resort fee to include:internet, local calls and a couple other things, but the wi-fi service was very poor in the room and non-existent outside by the pool and grounds or in the meeting room areas.
Concierge and bellstaff were welcoming and helpful.
This place is beautiful! The staff was amazing so you will not be disappointed. Ready to go back already. Also, you will have to try the firecracker wings
This place is beautiful! Employees have great service and the food is amazing! #trytheavocadofries
Beautiful place and Great staff. Can't wait until next year
The scenery was incredible with the lake in view as we ate really good steaks.
Just went for a Anniversary party! Food was amazing!! And the experience was grand. Service great and location is wonderful.
Nice resort. Beds are comfy, rooms are spacious, could use a small fridge to keep carry out cold, the view from the lakeside king room is amazing. Went to the marina and enjoyed the paddle boat for the afternoon. Staff has been very friendly. Pool is a bit cool for my taste but I like an 85+F pool... it wasn't uncomfortable though. I would love to come back in the fall and enjoy the different color of leaves and less traffic..
VERY DISAPPOINTED the room was not even as good as a Best Western . No micro wave no fridge. Room was 2 floors above all the kitvhen fans and air conditioners. Could not sit on balcony for the noise.
The pillows were a little on the very soft side hurt my neck when I woke up. The rest of the hotel was great.
1. First night we went to the Atrium Cafe inside the hotel and waited over 2 hours for dinner after being seated because the kitchen was "backed up".
2. After booking a "romantic" package we were put in a room next to a roomful of children that did nothing but scream every night and bang on their door for hours on end
3. Couldn't even enjoy the indoor pool or hot tub because the rule that no children were allowed in there after 10p wasn't followed
4. Upon checkout we voiced our issues with the stay and the only response was "maybe it'll be better next time". There will be no next time.
I would highly not recommend referring anyone else to stay here. Especially for the price you're paying, the customer service is poor.
This is a really nice place, beautifully landscaped, clean, we'll kept.
It is so nice, I was shocked that it doesn't come with a refrigerator in the room! I was told I could rent one. I didn't, not for a weekend trip.
For the mobility challenged, this place covers a lot of area and you'll find it hard to get around.
Stayed here again, fantastic place for nice weather!
Beautiful!! Out of the way, away from the crowds. A little pricey. And have to pay extra for a refrigerator in our room.
Had an amazing Thanksgiving brunch! I'd give it more stars if you had them!!!!
My partner and I went for Christmas dinner. It was delicious! I ordered a bacon wrapped pork chop. This pork chop is the second most delicious thing I've ever had in my mouth. Second, only, to the lobster and scallop side we ordered as an appetizer.
Nicest hotel ive ever stayed at!! If you want great service from a friendly staff, delicious food, free movie theatre, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, beautifully designed rooms, and gorgeous waterfalls and scenery in the lobbies than this is the place to go!
Hotel is amazing, the AC works properly and if you set it to keep the fan on all night. It stays on. The lobby is beautiful. The staff is very friendly but the restaurant is a little pricey. The view from my room left a lot to be desired. Overlooking the flat roof. If you are worried about the view spring for the nicer room w lake side. Saw it from a different room, that view is amazing.
The staff at the Chateau are all extremely courteous and effiecent. Spending the afternoon by the pool staff will come around offering free water to keep the guests hydrated. The restaurant has amazing food. The 12oz Ribeye was cooked to perfection and flavorful. Overall an amazing experience.
Very friendly clean hotel stay here whenever in branson ... great restaurant and staff is awesome
We LOVE chateau on the lake!!! Beautiful place and very kid friendly.
Beautiful location for a great conference! Friendly staff and nice venue. Hotel needs an update.
Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Every where you lookin there is an amazing view! Rooms are great, staff is nice and helpful
Beautiful location to get away to. Resort is beautiful inside and out. So many options. We had the breakfast buffet. The omelettes were amazing. Staff was polite and helpful. Only two complaints are the elevators and the water temperature. They have 3 elevators and one was out of order the entire weekend. The other two elevators are extremely slow. We were on the 9th floor. After waiting 10 minutes for an elevator we took the stairs and still beat both elevators. The water takes forever to get hot in the sinks. Both nights we stayed I washed my face with luke warm water because it never got hot or warm. Overall it was a great stay besides those two frustrations.
Over this past weekend...my wife and I just tied the knot here at the Chateau on the Lake! I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience as a whole. Coordinators Angela and Jessica were sweet as can be, and always on top of EVERYTHING. Likewise the concierge Angel was fantastically helpful the entire weekend. Never in my life have I ever enjoyed wedding dinners either, although the final menu received constant compliments from everybody in attendance. The spa did a terrific job with my bride's hair and makeup, the outdoor ceremony was pure magic, the rooms and overall atmosphere is classy like no other, and the view - my goodness it's a sight to behold. I highly recommend staying here any chance you get no matter the occasion.
We always love coming to the Chateau every year diribg Christmas to see the gingerbread houses. Christmas tradition!
Beautiful, great customer service, excellent food and clean rooms! Loved it!
Great hotel. The room are really nice. The view on the lake is remarkable. The staff was amazing. Will not be disappointed.
We loved this Great restaurant with wonderful waitors, food and the view out on the lake was fantastic
Beautiful place. Food is pricey, buffet at lunch was either not hot or empty. Asked for housekeeping, they were neither prompt nor polite.
Very nice hotel that is family friendly. The dining is good, but very slow and okay service. We ate dinner in hotel twice, food was delicious but not happy with the overall service. We preferred going in town to try various dining options. Room was very clean. Both indoor and outdoor pools were nice.
It's a nice place however it's not worth as much as I paid!!! Pretty sad about that
Room was nice indoor pool was small, staff was super friendly
Nothing not to love!! 5 star accommodations, dinning and lounge. Breathtaking sunset panoramic views over Ozark mountains.
Full service. It's a bit out of the way of other Branson stuff, which is less convenient (if you wanna take a gal shopping) but the tradeoff is peace and quiet
Was there for Thanksgiving dinner. Was mostly show, beautiful place, but the food was meh for the presentation and price.
Great view of the lake from our room. Pool was nice. Restaurant is pricey, but that s normal. Good location for exploring Branson and surrounding areas. No housekeeping due to COVID, unless requested, which we actually preferred. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats available for hotel guests at no additional price.
I think it would be nice if they had mini fridges and microwaves in the rooms.
Was a great stay as always. Staff very friendly & front desk always checking in to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed amything
This is my place of employment and where my wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary. It is pricey, but you get your money's worth.
Was enjoying drinks on the back balcony facing the lake when the manager told us to move because two people were dining behind us. Somehow we weren't paying customers even though we'd had dinner and were enjoying drinks. You need to fire you ur dining room manager she's abrasive and rude. You should probably fix your roof also the paint has been coming off it for years and it looks terrible. This place feels like you're a few weeks from going out of business and when you treat people like they're less than other customers I can see why. Will not be back.
It's not a good place for a large Gathering but it's very clean and nice looking
Still assising the stay...i have been to better Resorts...one more day just might be what need to evaluate accordingly..
Went here for a work conference and it was a very nice place to stay. All the staff was friendly and the service we received throughout was great. Since we were there during the "off season" all the amenities and services were not open. Would like to make a trip down during the summer when it's fully open. The gym could use some updating though with how nice everything else in the hotel is.
Awesome views if you get a lakeside room. Restaurants, lounge and snack shop were awesome and convenient. Clean hotel.
Horrible. first room was a disaster. There was no shower handle to turn on the water.
Awesome Place. If you are thinking about going, do it.
Had our Christmas in July party there this weekend. The place was huge, catering was delicious. No complaints.
Price is a little high but you get what you pay for.
The Chateau is lovely and comfortable but particularly so during Christmas. They have an excellent coffee house and desert shop and the have a floor for dog lovers to bring their animals.
Accommodations were wonderful. Exceptional food and staff go beyond to satisfy. The best hotel in branson by far. Everything you need to have a great time is here.
Attended a two-and-a-half day professional conference at the Chateau every year for the past 5 years. The Chateau always has clean meeting rooms and restrooms. The staff is friendly and attentive. Snacks and lunch are usually provided and are of decent quality.
UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW...
This morning the manager, Nate, came to our room and apologized. It was sincere, he explained what the staff would be doing to retrain and correct the mistakes we had gone through.
Unexpectedly, he surprised us with two night stays complementary in the future for the two rooms we had booked, including breakfast.
Honestly, it was more than we wanted or could have asked for and for that they deserve a lot of credit! We come to Branson multiple times a year and will give the Chateau more opportunities in the future!
Great job Nate!
Overnight stay for a business trip. Very nice hotel with comfortable, clean rooms & nice views of the lake.
It is the best option in the city, the views are a good attraction, the decoration and spaces are good, the attention should be better.
There isn't a fridge in my room. !?!?!? I would have given 5 stars but since I had no fridge for my coke......
Great views of the lake from our room. Nice hotel. Only real complaint would be the parking is horrible. Nothing close.
Did not stay there but went to enjoy the view. Gorgeous hotel! Amazing resort. Strongly recommend
