Leasing a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from this dealership....

Leasing a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from this dealership. It has began to leak oil. Knowing my way around cars I explained that it s probably the housing by the engine and it s cracked and leaking oil. It s a relatively cheap fix. My elderly mother drives this car and she explained to a man named Peter what was happening while I was there. He said the dealership does not offer loaners or rental reimbursement (lie), and that if that was the damage it s not covered by their warranty, which I figured since they put a plastic housing literally 3 inches from the hottest part of the vehicle. When I called about 20 minutes later, he completely lied about what my mother told him (said that she only said check engine light was on). He then said they do not offer rentals/loaners. All of this was done with an attitude that you would not give someone if they were in person. He stopped me mid sentence and said to either bring the car in and if they can fix it they can help with a loaner/rental, going against what he said. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I decided to go to the dealership and when speaking to one person at the front desk I was told they do offer loaners and the damage was a common occurrence, when I went to service the story changed again. Peter now wasn t there to speak to anymore (of course) and they could not do anything to help. This is our 3rd Jeep in our military family from this dealership and won t be our last Jeep , but will be our last at this dealership. Expect a run around. Just a sad experience overall.

My experience purchasing a vehicle from Central Ave. Chrysler Jeep Dodge was exceptional. From finding the right vehicle for my family, to establishing a fair price, including value of my trade in, was hassle free. Thanks to Nosh for selling me the Cherokee and Neal for the seamless process.

This is the second negative issue I had with this ...

This is the second negative issue I had with this dealership mechanic shop so far. The first was bad, but I reached out to Jack Tawill and he did his best to help me out. The issue was resolved at that moment even though it was troubling at first. That being said. I went back to the dealership mechanic shop for an issue that was covered under warrantee. I was given a date to drop off the vehicle for Apr 29, 2019 and I dropped it off. I was told by Pete that the process would take several days, 3 days being the minimum, and that he would see if he could get me a "loaner" vehicle.

On Apr 29, 2019 I brought my vehicle in for my appointment and dropped it off. I spoke to Pete DeJesus about the issue with the loaner and he immediately told me that Central Avenue Dodge does not give out loaners. I told him that he didn't say that before, but he insisted that this dealership doesn't "do loaners" for anyone. Pete did offer me to get a ride to the train station with one of the workers there, and they did drop me at the station.

A few hours later I received a call from Pete telling me that the "technician found a leak in my transmission lines", and that it was going to cost me just a little under $700 to "fix and service". I was in shock I check my fluids constantly and consistently while always keeping up with routine scheduled maintenance because my vehicle is the key component to my business. I am sure that my transmission lines were not leaking and I know that because all my fluids were level. Furthermore, my vehicle is parked in a garage in the same spot for 3 years and not one drop or stain of any fluids are on the floor, nor did any of the dashboard/engine or trans oil indicator lights go on.

Now, that they basically had my vehicle at their shop and away from my sight, I knew that regardless of the fact that my transmission lines were fine when I brought the vehicle there, I had to get it fixed now because that technician would've made sure that the transmission would leak. And so, I had to negotiate with Peter in order to get the transmission lines replaced for $300.00 because that's literally all I had! Furthermore, I checked everywhere else and that job, even if it were true that the transmission lines needed replacement, only costs between $150 to $200 the most.

This left a bad taste in my mouth, but what was adding insult to injury was how I received my vehicle after having to pay the $300. As I said previously, my vehicle is vital to my business and it is constantly detailed on the inside. I pay good money to keep my vehicle clean as this is imperative for my clients in the business that I have. I was called on April 30, 2019, the next day, to come in and pick up the car. When I entered the car it stunk badly like a musty smell and had short white animal hair all over the seats. I don't own any animals, nor do I allow any animals in my vehicle because I'm highly allergic. It seems to me that who ever was working on my vehicle owns pets and has animal hair all over their uniform. Furthermore, there was hair in all the seats including the back seats, as if someone was sleeping in there. I don't really know what happened there, but either way, I had to vacuum and detail (shampoo and steam clean) the vehicle because not only did it smell and was dirty, but my allergies were out of control.
Needless to say, I WILL NOT BE BRINGING MY BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE AGAIN, AND TO BE HONEST, I'M DONE WITH DODGE/CHRYSLER/JEEP VEHICLES. I DID MY BEST TO CONTINUE PURCHASING AMERICAN VEHICLES, AND I WAS LOYAL TO THE MOPAR BRAND, BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!! I'M DUE FOR A NEW VEHICLE AND ACROSS THE STREET FROM THIS DEALER IS A KIA DEALERSHIP AND DOWN THE ROAD THERES A NISSAN. I WILL BE CHECKING THESE TWO OUT IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!!!

Jimmy Inginito and his salesman Ernie have always treated us like family, not just customers. It is very hard to trust car salesman, but these guys always make my family and I feel confident that they do everything in their power to make us happy and feel confident with our purchase. They have a loyal customer for life!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!What lead me to write this review is that I called to speak to the manager about my experience after I left the dealership and he never returned my call. I Wouldn't even give this dealership one star if that was an option. I came there with with an intention to buy and the sales men were very unwelcome and discourteous. The first salesman gave me a very low value for my car that didn't resonate with me, and the salesman spoke to me in very condescending manner because of my disagreement. I requested a second salesperson, he asked me a few questions then pointed me to look at the vehicle again but never actually went outside with me. They clearly didn't want my business, VERY BAD SALES TACTICS! Especially during a pandemic when they need our business! At the end of the day I am happy I left and went to another dealership that gave me a better value for my vehicle, and way better customer service that deserved my business.

Floyd and Jarred were unprofessional, I appreciate and thank Mr. Grant for being a complete professional and refunding my money. I am sure that their are other individuals at the dealership that are good honest people, I would just be wary of any deposits you make and who you make them with and if you do encounter any issues contact Mr. Grant because he will resolve the situation.

Please beware DO NOT buy a car from ANDREW FLOYD or JARRED, They are unprofessional and disrespectful, out right liars. I went in to Jeep on 12/8 with the intention of getting a Jeep. I went it kind of late so I ended up putting a deposit down. I asked JARRED the sales associate CLEARLY that if I changed my mind at any if I was entitled to a refund. He told me that I was, I asked him several times to assure myself because I didn't not want any situation. Needless to say I decided to go with a different car. When I went back to get my money back I was angrily met by Mr. Andrew Floyd who angrily refused to give me my money back. He lectured me regarding taking to long to get back to them and essentially how I wasted his time. He said that had I gotten back to him earlier he would have refunded my money but since he lost out on money he would not be returning my deposit. He yelled and disrespected me on the floor, when I told him that Jarred had clearly stated that I would receive a refund he arrogantly responded "who is he". Jarred did not even show his face. He hid behind his boss and did not take responsibility for the fact that he lied to my face. I informed the manager of the dealership Mr. Jonathan Grant immediately via e-mail, the email I sent Is posted below...Hopefully he had the decency to return my money. But please if you do decide to go there, do.not spend your energy with Andrew Floyd or Jarred they are complete liars and thieves.

I am e-mailing you to complain regarding the complete unprofessionalism at your dealership. I came in today to get a refund on the deposit that I made a couple of weeks back on a Jeep Cherokee. I decided to change my mind and go with a different car. I was told originally by the sales associate, Jarred, that I could change my mind at ANY time and get a refund, I asked several times before I put that deposit down because I wanted to be absolutely sure. I spoke to Jarred over the phone and told him I had changed my mind a couple of weeks later and also told him that I would be picking up my money prior to coming to the dealership. When I arrived I was met by Andrew Floyd who angrily and disrespectfully told me that I would not be getting MY money back because I did not call them "a day or two" after to let them know I changed my mind. Regardless of whether I called or didn't call I was told by YOUR employee that I would get my money back if I changed my mind and he didn't give me a "timeline". I have never been so completely disrespected, I was yelled at on the floor like a child because THEY felt some way or the other about a phone call. Andrew felt that it was appropriate and necessary to yell and deny me my refund because they didn't make a sale and felt he wasted his time. It was disgusting and I am highly appalled at his behavior and the behavior allowed by the dealership. I was humiliated in front of the staff and several customers, it was ridiculous. I will be taking my complaint further up the line because keeping my deposit is completely unacceptable and unprofessional especially when your employee had clearly stated I could get a refund at any point.

He was and has been awesome throughout the whole process. There was a little bit of a delay in getting the car to the dealership but he was on it and handled all of my questions with total professionalism. Our sales associate, Orlando, was enthusiastic when the meeting first started but once we sat down to discuss prices and options he became hostile. Considering this was our first stop we didn't plan on jumping to any decisions right away. However, regardless of weather or not we made a purchase that day, his attitude was extremely less than professional- which made it clear to me that i would not do business with this dealership. As my fiance and i began to leave, Orlando said to us- "If you find a better deal i'll quit my job", which was just unnecessary and unprofessional. The day after we took our business to the Rockland Jeep Dodge Ram Dealership, and now we are happy owners of a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude.

Nosh in sales was patient, kind, great sense of humor and he really knows his job.He explained the entire purchase of my vehicle from beginning to end and did all that he could do to accommodate all the extras that I wanted added to my vehicle. Which I must also thank Ross who handled my upgrades for my tires and upholstery. Beautiful professional job done. Everything was done in a timely matter. I love this dealership. Jonathan got me in contact with the service manager and he set up an appt with service advisor Marco Varrenti. Marco was very professional & explained the repairs in detail. This experience gets 5+ STARS! Thank you Jonathan & Marco!**** 0 stars! This has to be the worst Jeep dealer! The rudest service advisors! They were giving me a loaner car with tire plugs on the sidewall of the tire! When I stated my concern with the safety of the loaner vehicle, the advisor had an attitude with me. Said he didn't have another loaner and would call a rental car place but it would cost $250. I took my vehicle out of there. I have recently purchased my other vehicle there and that was another bad experience. After having an appt and still having to wait over 3 hrs because I found that the paperwork I was about to sign was for the wrong vehicle! The salesman then handed me the keys without even showing me anything about my new vehicle! I had to go back & have a used car salesman show me the features. I have tried to contact the General manager and the service manager but I left messages but no return call to me. I wanted to give the local dealership my business but every time Central Ave Jeep disappoints. Good luck if you use this dealership.

And they did. Completely. Nosh and Klara worked with us and made sure this got done. This Jeep was an 18th birthday gift for my daughter and Nosh and Klara committed themselves to getting me the car in time and BEFORE the blizzard on January 4, 2018. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and totally professional. For anyone who thinks car dealers and car salespeople are impossible to deal with, Central Ave, Nosh and Klara will turn you around. My uncle recently purchased a Jeep Cherokee from this company and is now out $8000! Sales Rep RICHARD REID STOLE $6000 after listing that my uncle had only made a $2000 deposit on the invoice as opposed to the actual $8000 he deposited! After perusing through the lot my uncle settled on a Jeep he liked and made a payment of $8000. RICHARD REID prolonged the sale of the Jeep til closing we feel to cause my uncle to forget to get a copy of the invoice. My uncle even TIPPED RICHARD REID $100 after the transaction!! A day or so later RICHARD REID brought the invoice to my uncle's to have him sign it. In his haste my uncle didn't look over the invoice until after RICHARD REID left. It stated that only $2000 was deposited as opposed to the $8000 that my uncle actually deposited!! Upon realizing the error my uncle IMMEDIATELY called RICHARD REID to make him aware of the error. His calls went unanswered and we haven't SEEN OR HEARD from RICHARD REID since the incident! My uncle then went back to the dealership in search of RICHARD REID and was told by managers there that he was out because of his mother being ill. My uncle then explained to the managers his dilemma and they stated that there wasn't anything they could do to help him. They did suggest my uncle file a police report. About a week later my uncle contacted the dealership to inquire about RICHARD REID and they stated he had been fired. They didn't specify a reason why. My uncle then contacted the police and they suggested he file a civil suit. Feeling discouraged about the whole ordeal my uncle no longer wanted the jeep or anymore dealings with the dealership so he returned the jeep. After he returned the jeep the dealership owed him $2000 that they had proof he had deposited. Weeks later they STILL have not refunded him the $2000!! My uncle is now in the process of filing a civil suit in hopes of recouping the $8000 he's out. Another uncle was there during the transaction and will be a witness in court. In the unfortunate event that the money isn't recouped my family still wanted the general public to hear our story and to be AWARE of the seedy and under-handed practices of this company! My uncle came from very humble beginnings and to be taken advantage of in such a way has caused him to lose faith in humanity. This ordeal has not only taken a SEVERE financial toll on my family, but it has also caused us EXTREME emotional distress. It is truly disheartening. While my uncle takes responsibility for his part in not getting a copy of the invoice while at the dealership it doesn't absolve the sales rep RICHARD REID of his wrong-doing and THEFT OF $6000!!!

I arrived as the showroom was closing after a busy holiday weekend and the sales manager, Jarred, and the finance manager, Nosh, were very gracious and accomadating. I was even a bit back and forth on two models and they were very patient despite being basically closed; we were able to strike a deal that seemed very fair without any stress and I picked up the vehicle the next morning. These guys are real professionals and make buying a vehicle a pleasant experience.

In addition to me being able to have my car within a day, Nosh from financing was able to get us to qualify for financing despite having poor credit. A++ Customer Service

Ashamed to say after dealing with Central Jeep for years and years i would never go back or refer another customer. After trading my jeep in i got downgraded for more money to a Laredo when i wanted a Limited. I was told theres not a single difference. After a weeks time, I seen the Limited in person and it was such a big differnece, I went back to switch it. Jimmy the manager of sales told me not to worry and that he will trade it no problem being that i still have a few days before i lock in the contract. Jimmy told me for everyday for over a week to come back next day due to all the work he had piled up. After a week of waiting he tells me now its a DAY TOO LATE and that I'm now stuck with the car that i never wanted. Never do business at Central Chrysler Jeep Dodge or at least not with Jimmy or Mike P. The better deals are at Riverdale Jeep in the Bronx, White Plains Jeep or even the NYC location. Hope that was worth losing a big percentage of sales for Central cause of a great manager like Jim.

I didn t have anything particular in mind I just knew that I wanted to lease a jeep. Klara showed me some options & I absolutely fell in love with the 2019 Jeep Cherokee. We went for a test drive & I knew it was the car for me. She was very knowledgeable & made me feel comfortable even with all overwhelming amount of questions I had.

She then introduced me to Noshi who worked out the finances.

I don't usually write reviews but I need have to because of the service that I received from Alejandro aka Gaga. (That's what everyone at the dealership called him lol). I purchased a Grand Cherokee and I've never felt so comfortable in a dealership. He guided me through the whole sales process, even saving me money. He took the time and went over every detail of the car with me. He introduced me to the to the managers Felix and Craig which were very patience with me. I had to come back 3 times because I couldn't decide what model I wanted but it did not bother them. There was no pressure at all. Every time I came back every one welcomed me with smiles.
