Honesty is what Marvin Belton is about. This is what I look for in a dealership and he made my experience awesome and ease to get the deal done. He wants the best deal for his customer. Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge was great to visit and I purchased a used vehicle with great service on my first time visit and 1st dealer that day to price out vehicles.

Wish I could post more then 1 time on how horrible this place has turned out to be. Horrible customer service once they make the sale and service department sucks. Leaving tools under the hood of the car. Not having appointments available for oil changes. Needing 2 weeks in advance for appointment. This place is joke.

My fiance and I purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee from this dealership. The overall service was "ok" except for two major issues.

1) During our negotiation process, the sales person Alexus (didn't catch his last name) informed us that if we left two positive reviews he would give us a service/maintenance package. Of course, we left the two reviews in order to get the package. When we were meeting with the finance department to close the deal, we noticed that we had to pay for the package. The finance department called in Alexus to verify that it should be free since we left the reviews. Alexus stated several times that he never said anything of the sort or that I was completely wrong. I was shocked that a sales rep would verbally say that to a customer. I would not believe any of the reviews on this site based on what happened to us as customers most likely left them in order to get something free (which they probably didn't get either).

2) We decided to go through with the purchase even though we didn't receive the package as promised to us. On our way out, Alexus informed us that he couldn't find the second key for the car and he would have it for us when we came to pick up the plates. We picked up the plates two weeks late and they still couldn't find the key. They told us they would look for it over the weekend and call us in the following week. Two weeks went by and we never heard from them. We called and left several messages for Alexus and James Turner and never even received a call back. Finally, we decided to go to the dealership to see what was going on. Alexus and James told us that they couldn't find the key and we would have to come on a Tuesday between 1 and 3 to get a new key cut because that is the ONLY time the key guy was there. They refused to give us a loaner so I had to request time off of work in order to get there at that time. I showed up two Tuesdays later (since I had to request off) to have the new key cut. The key guy informed me that he doesn't have the ability to cut keys for the new Cherokees and I had to go through the service department. I went to the service department to get this done and they informed me it would take several hours. I found Alexus again to complain about the wait time and his response to me was "well what do you expect? you didn't make an appointment. You bought the car weeks ago you could have made an appointment." Alexus once again blamed the customer while he was the one who told me to just show up on a Tuesday. Also - since I had to go through the service department which could have done the new key anytime, I wasted a half day of vacation time due to this.

I will not be buying another car from this dealership or recommending it to anyone due to Alexus. His service was rude, unprofessional and he was unresponsive to us. He never handled either of the situations and blatantly lied to us about the service contract. Its sad that a business lets a sales person like this ruin their reputation.

On a side note - this dealership does have the best service department I have even been to. Whoever manages the service department should also manage the sales department - it would be great then.

Jeffery did a fantastic job of assisting me to decide on which car i should buy. He explained every detail even the smallest ones on every car I looked at. 100% would go back to see Jeffery for my next car... he never made feel out of place in the dealership.

My old dealership charged about 9.50/qt for my oil. They charged 12.77. At least the service was friendly (hence two stars). The woman at the counter was able to politely respond "Yes" (with a straight face) when I asked her if they actually charge 30 dollars for a tire rotation even when I spend over two hundred on an oil change. Driving the extra hour next time to get back to my old dealership.

Terrible place to shop for cars. At 7/27/2020 morning, 9 o clock my dad and I arrived at the dealer wanted to buy a used Jeep grand Cherokee. I told salesman my budget is below 30k and we had **k in bank, but the salesman kept introduced the cars that has story (car has accident). I recalled one of Jeep's hood where not aligned with the body and salesman claimed "no accident". At the point my dad talked to me, he wanted to leave because there's not a single car that has not been into accident, based on the colors of car and body alignment. Right after I told seller he leads me to the back of the lot where all the good used cars were stored. We believe in first impression although they have a good used car only has a few scratches and few slight bends in the bumper. We still walked out with empty hands.

If the salesman were honest and introduced all the used cars, we might have brought one yesterday. But since they are so greedy, we have to walk out empty-handed.

This dealership is a scam. Salesman named HECTOR set up a bill when we were in the final commission of the sale and told me there s an extra fee of $1,495 and said I ll find out what the fee is when I head into the dealership. He was trying to charge me a destination charge that s on all NEW window stickers for a USED vehicle. It s either they have no idea what they are doing here or they are trying to take advantage of people. STAY AWAY.

We came in for service and left with a new vehicle. Our 4th Jeep but first at this dealership. It was seamless. The quickest turn in and drive off we ve ever experienced. Mike Solomon was great. Listened to our needs and wants and found us the right vehicle. He is professional and answered any questions. Informed, quick, and honest all while being very pleasant. The entire process was all five star. Great team!

I tried to get a price on service for my Ram truck and the woman in service dept. couldn't give me a price on anything. I told her I need a tune up and she told me I may not need one, I told her I need a new oil pan and she said thy'll look at it and tell me if I need an oil pan. I asked her about a loaner car and she said they only rent cars, she said there's a $250 returnable deposit for the rental, So I said well how much will you charge me each day I use the car? she said when I return the car Ill get my $250 back so I said again but how much per day will I have to pay for the rental? she put me on hold and returned asking me what time id like to come in. I ended up telling her it sounds sketchy and she got pissed and we hung up.

Unfortunately, I must revise my review. Since purchasing my vehicle, tax, tag, and title with a $5K downpayment and financing, (for which I have already started making payments), the dealership has not delivered my tag nor filed for my title.

I have contacted them numerous times regarding this issue since the dealer tag expired over a month ago. I have only gotten partial responses, which appear to be lies, and mostly unanswered voice and emails.

This has gone from one of the best deals I've done to the worst. Therefore, I cannot in good faith recommend this dealership to anybody.

I was looking for a possible lease on a jeep , I called this location and explain to them that I recently flipped my car over and did not want to come directly to the dealership and was looking for lease pricing. The first gentleman I spoke with was beyond rude telling me I can go somewhere else and he will not give me any numbers then hung up on me. I then called back and spoke with supposedly a manager who instead of apologizing to me said "well I can't help you if I don't know who he is" . Regardless I chose to still speak with him he through a number at me within 3 seconds and not taking the time to see my needs . This place has no people skills clearly and if this is how they treat customers I wouldn't buy from here if it was free . I ended up calling Flemington jeep explained my situation they took the time to give me everything I needed with out hesitation. When I was feeling better I ended up physically going there and now if I decided to get a jeep I would ONLY recommend FLEMINGTON jeep , and not rt46 jeep .

Out of the many dealerships I've been too looking ...

Out of the many dealerships I've been too looking for cars, route 46 Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge was the only dealership that actually TRIED to put me in a car. Thanks to Felicia Casale I'm driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and it couldn't have been done without her. I was referred to her by someone and as soon as I met her I felt like I was meeting a friend. She's PERFECT for the car sales business because she doesn't just put you in any car she puts you in the car that's perfect for you. And her personality makes you feel like you've known her for years. Felicia Casale, you are my spirit animal.

I highly recommend this dealership for anyone that wants to feel like they're buying a car from their best friend. (Make sure you ask for Felicia).

I had a road emergency! I was told by Jim the service rep to bring the car in and it's be fixed tomorrow.. ( a minor fixing process) wasted all day, went there next morning and was told that they could not do anything for two days!!! (Raul the service representative)...

Unaccaptable! They don't care and don't be fooled by high rating since it's probably false...
I run a business and definitely didn't need to have this issue which could be avoided!

I cannot give this dealership enough stars! I would give them millions if I could. This is my second Jeep from them and I am so happy. The service they provide is unmatched. They go above and beyond for their clients. They always have better deals than anyone else on the market! Definitely give them a call. Frank and Amir are a pleasure to work with.

Elvin was my sales guy. He was great making the sale easy.

The only thing I would say is customer service. They need to make sure process is faster They need to be more attentive to the customer. I literally set in the dealership 5 hrs , after getting told everything was approved and ready to go.

But if you're looking for deal definitely 46 is the place. Just make sure you know your numbers.

But if you do go in , elvin is the guy

While working with Mike Mangano, I felt very appreciated and well taken care of.
Mike has taken his time to answer all of my questions and was very knowledgeable and straight forward with all my concerns.
He was very respectful and patient while test driving the vehicle.

Most dealers I've delt with in the past spoke with urgency and was hard to understand, but Mike Mangano relates to you as a friend almost like family.

All in all I had a great experience working with Mike Mangano at Route 46 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.
Oh an by the way he did a heck of a job with the payment on my new Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo

They will recommend your scheduled maintenance plan as they should But they will also tell you what can wait or what needs attention. Lifetime oil changes. is awesome. Marvin Belton is honestly the best salesperson I have ever dealt with. He was kind, honest and really helpful throughout the whole process. He made my experience awesome and got us what we wanted, the best deal for us. Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge was great to visit (day or night) and we purchased the car that I wanted a new Grand Cherokee, he didn't try to sell or convince us anything else other from what we asked. He truly cares about his customers!

I will let everyone know do not buy any car from this place not even a cub holder! This has to be the worst car dealer I have ever been too. I bought a dodge city master 2018 new van and paid cash for it in the beginning of December of 2018 and I was told that will get a call for my plates. No one called so I came to the dealer yesterday to ask about the plates and I was told it s going to take another 3 weeks I said ok and left the next day I was pulled over for expired temps which I did not realize at the time , cop was cool let me off with a warning. Anyway I called the dealer and after 30 min being on hold and transferred from one person to another I asked to speak to a manager, I explained what was going on and he said come down will help you. So I came down (I m here now writing this in the parking lot) and the manager said there is nothing we could do for you. Then y did u make me come down here ? I m the only manager here today and I did not speak to u, maybe the person that spoke to u was liying ! We can t help u! This was the most unprofessional staff managers I have ever felt with! And when I asked to speak to there supervisors or the owner I was told there is no owner to the place or supervisors! If I can give this place 10 I would !!!

He tried pulling a fast one on me by offering a vehicle which he claimed was fully loaded but in actuality had $700 less in options. At no point did he call a manager over to try and come to an agreement with me. Extremely disappointed with this dealer after seeing some decent reviews.

This dealership sold me a car that did not have a ...

This dealership sold me a car that did not have a clean title/lien.

When I went to pick up my permanent tags I was told (after a month) that they forgot to pick them up (lies). They issued me another set of temp plates.

The second set of temp plates expired (this is month 2) , I still had not heard from the dealership. Finally the truth was disclosed: the title/lien paperwork for the car was not properly processed from the previous owner, and the dealership decided to sell the car anyway knowing the paperwork was bad.

My car was towed 2 days after my second set of plates expired because the car is not legally registered.

I put down money for a car, paid for the note, and my insurance, and my car was towed because this dealership lied to me.

I am still currently paying extra money for transportation. My vehicle was apprehended a week ago and still I have no time stamp on when my car is coming back.

Avoid doing business w them.

Went in looking for a Jeep Wrangler, and left with a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. My Sales Professional Frank Carbone, as well as the rest of the staff I dealt with, were very pleasant and accommodating.

Frank in particular, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions, the process was very quick, and the price was very good. I even went on multiple test drives!

What can I say, it was only 2 visits there, but based on that I would recommend this dealership in a heartbeat!

I went to test drive two vehicles today. My salesman was nice and courteous. Problem came up when we went to close the deal on one of the vehicles. We agreed on a price, little higher than I wanted but was ok. I wrote out the down payment check, he was confirming the insurance, then he realized he was looking at the wrong vehicle even though we were discussing the model the whole time. Ok, honest mistake. He tells me he has to double check if he can still sell me the one I was talking about at the agreed price. Comes back and says no. He wanted to sell it to me higher than what the internet listed price was, I didn't realize when he was looking at the wrong vehicle he had added $2000 dollars because I wasn't a loyal customer (I was a first time customer and now will never be loyal), which is why the wrong vehicle price was the same as the internet price for the vehicle I was looking at. What's even worse is we went through the whole KBB dance of what the value of the vehicle was with the right model and the price we agreed upon was right in the middle, the price he came back with was much higher than KBB even said. I get honest mistake, but they lost a customer and didn't even try to keep me. Not bad people just didn't seem like a good business practice.

I went there to get a lease price for 2015 Charger. Now I am leasing a car from another dealership.

Employee named Dennis Brusco treated me like if I was a worthless object. He was incredibly rude and he wanted me out of there as soon as possible. He insulted and disrespected me just because I am an international student. Before even talking about leasing a car, he was surprised that I have a NJ driver s license. He implied that international students shouldn t have a driver s license and they should not be driving a car at all. I kept my cool and leave the please respectfully. I even thanked him for his help. I was happy and excited when I first got there, but he ruined the rest of my day.

Please do yourself a favor, if you ever go there stay away from Dennis Brusco.

Pablo Deniz helped me find my new Jeep, which I Iove. The dealership can get a bit chaotic but working with Pablo was a great experience. He listened to what I wanted and worked diligently to meet my expectations. He worked hard to get me the best deal possible and made sure I was satisfied. I can be pretty demanding but he was patient and never got annoyed with me. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I had leased a Jeep Wrangler from the Dover Dodge dealership 3 years ago. My lease was coming to a close, and after a horrible experience at Dover, I decided to head to the Route 46 dealership. It was here I met Rich Figurelli. He assisted me with my vehicle and did a superb job. It was refreshing to receive such wonderful service after horrible luck in the past. I will no longer go anywhere else. Route 46 and Rich specifically have a customer for life. Thank you Rich!!

He was not only very knowledgeable, but very friendly and made us feel comfortable. We did not feel pressured one bit and left there with the perfect car for us at a great price! Dysfunctional processes or just not caring about the customers? You decide. I call the dealership and made an appointment to see a particular vehicle. I arrive promptly and am greeted by Mike the salesman. We chat for a minute grab some coffee and proceed to fetch keys for the vehicle I was interested in. We were informed that the vehicle is outside and they don't have the keys- red flag. Mike tells me that it's in the overflow lot. We begin to walk through a poorly lit unpaved area of the dealership in the dark, and it's cold. No vehicle to be found. We go back inside where he tells me that he's trying to locate the vehicle. 5 minutes later I'm told that the vehicle has been sold after being there for 30 minutes. Poor practices and lack of salesmanship to set an appointment and not ensure the vehicle is present is a big no no. Having 5 hours from when the appointment was set to the time of my arrival was ample time to prepare or provide notification. As I such I choose to take my business to the other Jeep dealers in the area which value and respect customers.

We went into this car dealership expecting a normal nice environment. Well, we got so much more! We had a sales man named Nick help us and let me tell you, if you ever go here PLEASE ask for him! Having him there made mine and my families day a lot better! If I was to rate Nick 1-10 He should get a 10! He was so nice, and listened to everything we had to say. Its hard to find people like that now a days, and he is one of them! Nick is a one of a kind guy who will make you smile no matter how long or hard your day has been! So if you can't tell by this review, HE IS AMAZING!!!

WORST EVER!! Do not buy or lease from this dealer...

WORST EVER!! Do not buy or lease from this dealership. Took my van in for a routine oil change and they failed to put oil in the car, so my engine ceased up and basically had to be replaced. I went 3 WEEKS without my car! No one called me ONCE with any updates. I had to call everyday, and was placed on hold immediately for about 6 mins every single time, and no one remembered me or my situation, Had to explain it again every single day! No one ever has an answer. I was told the guy who did my oil change was "no longer with us" HMMM. It's been a nightmare to say the least. I just called to check on my refund for the deposit on the rental car ($250 and I returned the car 11 days ago, no refund) the lady said "Oh they aren't available today" Go figure! I can't believe this place is in business.

Worse experience. I spoke to Drew the internet specialist who was so rude that I actually took screen shots ,spoke about a car they had listed at capital one website ,he tells me that's a special price for loyalty customers and it's up to the manager to honor it . After I mentioned it was not the dealers site I got the price from he told me to print and save the listing ( and I did )and the manager "should " honor it ,after I explained I'm making a 5hr drive i don't want to get there and have a 2,000$ price increase ,he assured me they would honor it . They did not answer my calls now 12hrs later they went and updated the price on Capital one with the 2,000$ increase . I requested pictures of the car I never received them but he was sure to set up an appointment for me to drive out there .

Im going to start by saying these people are rude,i called in to inquire about a 2020 JEEP GC SRT who ever picked the phone was rude and said go online and check what we have... we nearly hitting a recession im a front line healthcare worker who still has a job and wanted something nice for my hard work an effort willing to put 12k cash nd this is who a dealer throws away cash very cute guess who wont be seeing my money Wish i can give them zero stars

The worst experience at a car dealership ever.
On the afternoon 12-15-2017 I had negotiated a deal with Mr. Omar Alkhalaf sales representative who greeted me at the door and his sales manager, it was a done deal we shook hands, Omar asked if I can wait they need to bring the car from a remote lot. I said I will, After 1and 1/2 hours I was called to the office to sign, and to my surprise the final price was approximately $1500. more than the price we agreed to. The financial officer said we brig customers in this office to bump them up. The car was to be a birthday present to my daughter, her birthday was the next day.

Went to the dealership look at their inventory and meet Erik Valentin, sales associate and was very impressed by his knowledge and customer service skills. I wanted a specific model Jeep and he talked about the other options which I did not have knowledge about. He gave me his card and told him I would be back at the end of the month. I called a few days before we went to the dealership to see what inventory he had for what I wanted. We went to a few other dealership but hated the sales people they were all so pushy and aggressive with no customer service skills. I knew immediately I wanted to go back to Route 46 and see Erik and that he would help me get what I wanted. Erik ended up getting me exactly what I wanted and couldn't be any happier and he worked hard to get me to the price I wanted/needed to be at for monthly payments. I would recommend Erik Valentin and Route 46 CJD to everyone!

My Jeep came with a Dual Top and have no intention on using the soft top due to the location I live in and called the service department and for no charge they removed the soft top so that I would store it somewhere else and have access to use my truck. The service department was friendly and eager to assist. They drove me to work so I did not have to wait for my truck to be done and picked me up when it was done.

Greatest Customer Service I have seen in a long time!!!! MUST GO TO ROUTE CJD!!!!

Awful service department attempted $1,000 ripoff. Brought car in for a warranty repair, service staff "found" an additional $1,000 worth of items... which I declined. Then came the service rep's hard-sell tactics, including vague threats that I wouldn't get my car back or it wouldn't be functional or drivable. Among the attempted extortion were "repairs" that included "scheduled maintenance"that was actually 90,000 miles premature and service for other items that were new, or electrical system issues that did not exist. If I hadn't known how to to obtain OBD II codes and use a multimeter, or hadn't checked the real service schedule & maintenance manual, I wouldn't have known. Don't trust them.

In the interest of a full & honest review, I will say that I had brought my car to them, and another, for a few years for things like oil changes and actual scheduled maintenance without this sort of issue. So maybe the change is recent, or there are one or two "bad apples" in the mix, or maybe they only pull these tactics out when a car's loan has been paid up and the warranty nears its end so they can encourage people to buy a new car, and get some extra service $$ in the meantime. But the reason doesn't really matter: You can't trust them.

Up until this point I had a great experience with Route 46. Last year I purchased a vehicle from here and I had a good overall experience but now I have a question on my warranty (my tire warranty to be exact) and I can not get anyone to return my calls. I have left multiple messages and emails. When I call I explain my question I am then transferred to the service department, I am then told I must talk to one of the financial advisors so I am transferred again and that is where my call ends. I am never able to get in touch with a financial advisor nor have they returned my calls or emails. Like I said my experience was good up untill this point.

I went to a few different dealers and no one compared to the awesome numbers and service I got at Route 46. The manager is super nice and the staff is welcoming. When I called their General Manager about it he literally told me to come down to his office to fight him. Once I asked him if he was serious he was silent and kept apologizing saying he had a hard day....STAY AWAY

This dealership does not accept walk in oil change customers. They have a huge sign stating express service. Every other Chrysler jeep dealer around the country you pull up to the service and change your oil and you re on your way. This one states you have to have an appointment and you cannot make it for same day. Why have the sign? Go somewhere else do not waste your time here. It always was a great benefit to pull up and have your oil changed. I wasn t looking for a walk-in to repair the vehicle just to get the oil change.

The Manager Mike Merkoski is highly unprofessional. My husband and I drove from Washington, DC to this dealership after speaking with Mr. Merkoski who knew we were traveling from out of state to purchase a vehicle that was on the lot. Mr. Merkoski was aware we were on our way. After traveling 4 hours to this dealership were told the vehicle was sold a few hours ago. The dealership had our contact information and no one reached out to notify us that the vehicle was sold. The issue is the integrity of the dealership. We were told the vehicle would be held for us, yet it was not held and NO ONE CALLED TO NOTIFY US.

***DO NOT PURCHASE VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALERSHIP ***

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially for customers traveling from out of state.
