My Jeep lease expired in about 2 months so it was time to start looking for something new. I loved my Jeep, but I needed something larger. I decided on the Dodge Durango. Klara helped me with all of my questions and any concerns I had. She and Nosh made this experience so wonderful for me. I have two little babies so car shopping usually isn t fun, however, this experience was. Klara and Nosh got me into a great vehicle for a great price and it was painless. Great duo! DO NOT PURCHASE THERE, EVER! If I could give less than one star I would. These people are crooks to the core! They bait and switch. The bank they use (Chrysler Capital) for thier loans charges intrest rates so high that they fall under the NY civil usury statute (16%) and come extremely close to criminal usury (25%). My loan came out to 21% compounded daily. As with so many other individuals who they see as "easy vicitms" (I was a young single mother with below average credit) they smelled blood and exploited me for as much as possible. While such duplicitous practices are supposedly prohibited by law, this establishment weasels out of compliance with these usury statutes through the predatory use of fine print and empty promises. Almost 2 years after my dealings with them, I haven't missed a single payment and I'm still paying interest. I have not even began to pay my $6,000 premium. BEWARE OF THEIR UPSALE TACTICS! They had me sign 2 contracts with two different amounts and submitted the higher one when the understanding was they would submit the lower one.
I've gone to central ave. Chrysler 2x .......... nothing but high praise for this company. Service was very helpful (Alex) and very professional. The work done on my 2008 dodge charger was fantastic (perfect). I had purchased my car at another dealership (in the bronx) and everyone warned me not to deal with the Bronx dealerships service. Thanks for putting me on to a professional and great ran business!
Central Avenue Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Yonkers, NY, in a word, AWESOME! The car I wanted was a 2013 Dodge Journey R/T which they did not have on the lot, but they assured me that they would get it. The vehicle they got was almost perfect except it was missing a DVD player. No problem! They installed one that looks beautiful and larger than the one in the brochure - with a video game DVD, game controller and remote control to boot! My sales person Alejandro S. was great. His knowledge of the vehicle was very helpful. He and the sales manager Andrew worked out a deal that saved me thousands on the sale and interest. I went to Central Avenue Chrysler Jeep with 3 requirements: white, 6-speed manual transmission, with a retractable sky roof. They didn't have this particular car on their lot so they, along with Nosh the manager, worked tirelessly to find it at another dealership for me. They were all very personable and worked to get me the best deal they could. I would highly recommend this friendly dealership to anyone looking to buy or lease a vehicle. I absolutely love my car! I had a malfunction with my jeep. I took it to Eastchester Jeep to get it serviced. They were very rude and didn't return calls, and I was nothing but polite with them. My problem occurred again with my jeep and this time I took it here to the service department at Central Ave Jeep. My service advisor was Marco and he called me multiple times to verify the problem I had and was on top of it all. Felt good to be treated well. *** DONT GO TO EASTCHESTER JEEP

Meet all my exceptions. Made an appointment meet Felix the sales manager who then introduced me to my new sales guy Steve. I was very impressed with who they handled everything. Not only was I happy with the price I felt safe because everyone was being responsible with COVID.(social distancing which is hard there I saw everyone making an effort)

Beware of this dealer. I purchased my vehicle from them 3 months ago and to date I still haven t received my registration in the mail. Come to find out they never sent my paperwork to DMV. I stopped by to get everything fixed last week....I called DMV today and guess what...they still don t have the paperwork. This place is terrible !! I m literally getting tickets for expired registration because theses ppl can t do their job
We dealt with Craig Orofino, sales manager who was very rude and unhelpful. Originally, he told us that they did not have the car we were looking for on the lot and that he would have to order the car from a New Jersey dealership. Upon asking him which dealership in New Jersey had the car, he refused to disclose that information to us. He told us that we had to order an additional $2,000 package for the standard car we were interested in because supposedly the standard did not have the features that we thought it did. After doing some research, we realized that the standard car DOES have the features that we were looking for, and he was just trying to sell us an extra package by lying to us.
Otherwise, the rest of the team was pretty good and attentive to our needs. It was mostly just an issue with this specific sales manager that we had a problem with.
Our sales consultant, Klara Coku, was so patient, kind, and informative. She was able to answer all of our questions in an honest and friendly manner which made us comfortable enough to change our minds multiple times and finally come to a decision about our vehicle purchase. We will definitely return for future purchases and be sure to recommend this dealership to our friends and family!

There I was, leasing a car. It was a scenario I d seen represented so frequently in commercials and movies that I couldn t wait to experience it myself.
As someone who owned the same car since high school, I simply never got to test these infamous waters. After many warnings from friends and family about car dealers, I walked into Central Avenue Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram like a soldier marching into battle. Jaw stiff, teeth clenched, muscles bulging out of my plaid shirt, looking rather handsome no doubt.
My expectations were subverted almost immediately. In came Steven, the Jeep salesman in charge of handling my rigid presence. His demeanor was calm, smooth, and comforting; really the ideal disposition for this situation.
Together, we worked through my dreams and desires, some of which were apparently unusual (chief blue Jeeps are rare, it seems). As a negotiator, Steven makes it feel like you re working together rather than against each other, a truly key skill in this field. He made sure we communicated during my visit to a rival dealership and we found a solid middle-ground between possible lease rates.
Compared to the other Jeep dealership, Central Ave is saintly; the charlatans that comprise their competition are a squirrelly bunch and I looked forward to returning to Yonkers after I looked around. The owner of the dealership and several employees unrelated to my transaction asked if I needed anything, how I was doing, and what I hope to accomplish in this fragile time bomb we call life.
The team of salespeople here have a sitcom-esque dynamic, so much so that I think my next film might have to be about a Jeep dealership. After agreeing on a rate, Steven escorted me to Noah, a former salesman turned honcho in charge of finances. I love this guy, he s a straight shooter and an extremely hard-working lynchpin of the team. He had some incredible interactions with other salespeople who dipped in and out of his office, including various solid high fives and fraternal ribbing.
After working through the financials and the initial day of figuring things out, Steven made sure I could reach him any time via text or call. When you re plugging along through the process and several variables are at play, being able to ask questions and keep updated like that is huge for peace of mind. Within a week of my initial waltz into the dealership, I was driving off the lot with my Wrangler. It's hard to put into words how excited I am about this beast. Steven definitely sensed it and added to the utter joy of the moment I rode off into the sunset (or more accurately, Central Avenue at 10 AM).
I'm very pleased with my experience at Central Ave and look forward to continuing our harmonious relationship through my 3 year lease and beyond.

I was convinced by a friend at the time that I should entertain my next lease with Central Avenue Chrysler/Jeep. He knew people that worked there and I was coming up on my mileage so I figured why not.
I m not going to complain about pricing, fees, etc. because I signed on the dotted line so I agreed to it. It s what happened after that makes this dealership and certain employees within it, questionable at best. Let s start with saying that I ve leased for quite some time. I m in no way new to the process. That said, I was coming up on mileage with my Hyundai and the deal was that Central Ave would pay off the lease (ultimately rolling those payments into my payment, because nothing is for free) and ground the car until it was actually due to go back in November. It was July. Again, not new to this as the Hyundai dealership had grounded my previous car for 5 months and everything went smoothly.
So fast forward 2 months after signing and I get a notice in the mail from Hyundai stating my car had been returned early and it was going to auction and I d be responsible for anything outstanding left on the car if not sold at or above current value. Upset of course, because it was supposed to have been grounded, I was told by the Sales Manager that it would be taken care of. Didn t hear anything else until I received a bill in the mail about 2 months later for $312 that I owed on the Hyundai. Confused, because the dealership was supposed to have paid off the rest of the lease, the Sales Manager was alerted and I was told again it would be taken care of. Silence for 4 months until I was contacted by a collections agency in March 2018 stating the $312 balance remained outstanding and Hyundai wanted their money. Rightfully so!
I don t know about you, but most humans work really hard to maintain and improve their credit scores. I m absolutely one of those people. Not only did I have to deal with the collections agency for 2 weeks, but was told that the dealership was overnighting a check for the amount owed. Check wasn t sent overnight, and then the 30 and 60-day delinquent notices hit my credit report. And guess what still hasn t been rectified yet. Next month will be a year that I ve had this car. I haven t heard from the Sales Manager about the delinquent notices hitting my credit report not once in 3 weeks. Not even an apology for affecting my credit report negatively.
It s really unfortunate that certain people at this dealership feel it s okay to treat paying hard-working CUSTOMERS like they don t matter and ignore them. What s funny is that I wasn t asking you to move mountains. The simple expectation was that it wouldn t have even happened in the first place. And you can t even pick up the phone and apologize and rectify the situation. There are PLENTY of other dealerships out there that will treat their customers with respect, follow through on their word, and create a pleasant car buying and owning experience. I will be going to those dealerships going forward. Shame on you.

I recently (01/20) leased a Dodge Durango RT from this dealership. Nothing but positives from the start.
From the moment I walked in (15 minutes before they closed) my sales person, Orlando, was attentive, polite and informative. He was very accommodating in showing me different vehicles and was courteous enough to allow us a test drive, literally as the clock struck 8 pm and they were supposed to be closing.
Upon our return from the test drive, the manager Kyle was sitting patiently waiting and never once made us feel rushed. He actually joined in the conversation and offered honest advice on the best options to go about leasing our vehicle.
As of this review, I have nothing but positive comments to say about both of these gentlemen. I MOST definitely will be returning to lease another vehicle from this dealership, provided these two gentlemen are still around when the time comes.
The Finance director Neal was by far the best we have worked with. Family oriented, friendly, and honest. Klara the sales rep was kind and flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend coming here to purchase or lease a vehicle. We would come back here again.
My Dodge has an issue that nearly caused an accident on a recent trip with my young children. Upon research we understood that it was associated with a recall concern. Made an appointment at this location and was displeased upon arrival after engaging with their tech. Omar wanted to charge a 130$ diagnostic fee and shifted his tone and body language once I expressed disinterest in paying that. he became gruff and dismissive and responded only that he'd call me once my car was ready. I kindly removed my car from service there, as I felt uncomfortable with what level of "service" he would provide following the attitude he displayed. TBC - I have a mechanic background, so his approach was unappreciated, as someone who can properly diagnose a car and knows what good customer service looks & feels like.
After having a difficult experience at another Jeep dealership the day before, a good friend referred me to Larry Memoli at Central Avenue Chrysler Jeep. Not only did he instantly take away any bad feelings I had from the other dealership, he got me into a brand new Grand Cherokee that day at a great lease price. Larry made the process easy, transparent and and explained everything I needed to know about my lease and the car itself. I cannot recommend Larry and Central Ave enough.

The car buying experience here is overall good but was disappointing in that many employees were interacting with others and their face masks were down or they weren't wearing any at all. I was with someone who was there to purchase a car so I stayed but if I was by myself I would have left.
From a buying stand point the experience was good buying my used 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee but was quickly changed. When the night of driving the jeep home found a crack in the side mirror promptly reported the issue and got assurances that it would be fixed but the crew at the service department changed that.
From the service advisor that setup an appointment but when i got their no one has a clue why I was their, to the service and parts director Dan Oliveri who said and I quote "Nothing f**King going on that car" he is correct their I have a Jeep, so in conclusion their sales staff may be great but the experience is ruined by the service department.
FOLLOW UP So After speakign to the owner (Jonathan Grant) of the dealership who was much more reasonable and appoligised for my experience and slso wanted to fix the problem but the damage was already done by the service department. I will be using Whiteplains Jeep dealership who after hearing this story is changing the mirror for me at dealer cost.
I had brought two cars there before. I decided to buy my three car there and salesperson Steve was the worst wouldn t return calls and I started this ordeal on June 25th and it was July 16 and still no car,Steve kept saying oh the title for the car still not here but no help all at, pick up my deposit and bought a car somewhere else and it took one day

Brian took some information from me and started the paper work . on 1-25-13 Brian gave me a follow up call on the process of my application and to tell me to stop by so we can do some more paper work . Just purchased a brand new 2018 jeep wrangler from here. Our salesperson, Emmhers, was amazing. So patient and attentive. He did not pressure or rush us into anything. He also followed up with us afterwards to make sure we loved our ride and to set us up for service. The waiting room is comfortable, stocked with coffee and hot chocolate. Our kids were for some time without complaint. Overall a pleasant car buying experience.

Check your paperwork before finalizing the deal, make sure you calculate the numbers before you sign...Use as many websites as possible to get all your info, and get at least 2 prices from other dealers... The next day I got a price quote from another dealer thousands less but was too late for me to do anything...Learn from my mistake , Im usually a good bargainer but lost this one :(

I'm sitting in the waiting room having my car serviced and I had to take a moment to write about my experience. From the time I pulled up the service has been amazing. I definitely didn't expect this level of customer service. I walked in to the service advisors and was treated like royalty. I'm serious, I came in for a recall and the advisor made sure that they go through the car and do some services to ensure the car is on point and safe. Above and beyond what is the norm. I'm a car guy with a Dodge SRT and know plenty about cars and know that he wasn't blowing steam up my a**. They genuinely take care of their customers. They even have coffee and a platter of bagels with cream cheese and butter in the waiting room for their customers. Amazing guys!!! Keep up the good work.
I've gone to this dealership twice, and both times I left promptly. First time, we were looking for a cheap lease car, and the salesman sat us down, told us what we're looking for is not going to happen & that it's a weekend so he's not used to working these days and shooed us out. We went across the street to a Kia dealership, told them our goals, and three hours later left with a new car.
Second time, I went to look for a Wrangler at the same dealership a year later, figured maybe it was just a bad salesman the first time. We go in, get a test drive within ten minutes, nice and smooth so far & things are looking good. Come back, get an extremely low ball trade in offer on our 2015 car, no pricing flexibility on the car we want. Salesman told us (me & the wife), it's not gona happen, they're not budging and before we could proceed any further said "Do you have my card?" as he was getting up. That's a very rude cue for me to get the F out.
We're not exactly hard customers. We don't really haggle ridiculously, have perfect credit, can actually afford the cars we look at, and both times we were interested in getting a car and went elsewhere.
Never coming back here again, I was treated like a bum out of a welfare line both times I went in. PLENTY of other dealerships in the area that will gladly take my money.
Orlando was the biggest help with finding the right car for me! This was my first car that I would be leasing on my own and he made sure I understood all the terms of the lease, connected with me with the finance department to assist with my credit application and kept in constant contact with me about the status of any paper work I had filled out and about picking up my car in general. Whenever I called with a question he either answered immediately or promptly called me back in less than a half hour. I previously had a car that was an older model that did not have features such as car play, backup cameras, push to start etc. and he took the time out to make sure I knew how everything worked before i left the dealership. His attitude was also very refreshing and uplifting during times that are as hectic as these! Could not have been happier with the service I recieved!
I've serviced my vehicle at Central Ave Chrysler many times and always get outstanding service. It starts with the friendly receptionist, the service consultants are great and it ends with the smiling cashier. All around a great experience. Thank you
