The best experience ever I've been going through cancer. For 5-6 I've been fighting cancer and the team at Sarah cannon is the best. Thank you Jesus for Dr. Talley and his Team. Love them all

"sorry, we didn't know you were here, there was a shift change." I'd heard only bad things about centerpoint, and now i know why. There should be policies and protocol for employees (even the transporter) to follow. Bad excuse.

Emergency room care was top notch. Admitted as a level 2 trauma, ER staff and especially my nurse were great. The problem occurred when I was transferred from ER to hospital floor. I was on 2 1/2 hour pain meds in ER, then went 6 1/2 hours before next pain med because my floor care nurse could not reach Dr Joseph by phone, pager or answering service to get pain meds authorized. Very poor process. When Dr Joseph did show up finally in the afternoon of the 2nd day, he at first denied not sending pain med authorization, then offered up excuses why he did not answer his pages, then tried to throw the nursing staff under the bus. The nurse was standing right next to my bed when she was calling, so I know it was on Dr Joseph s end. Based upon this experience I would not recommend this facility.

My experience with surgery there was awesome the nurses were great The doctor were very caring and took the time to ask me questions as well as if I had any questions. I would go back to this hospital for anything that might arise it was a truly wonderful experience.

I am surgery here next month because Workmans Comp insist. I am really frightened because the couple of times I've been here I didn't see one Black person anywhere and nurses where starring at my hair while talking to me. I will update my experience after surgery.

Great experience with the nursing staff. Unfortunately, my surgery had to be postponed. Everyone was very professional at both visits and very friendly. Hospital was very clean. I would use this hospital again if I needed to.

my husband went in the ER for tooth pain he needed some relief because it hurt so bad the wait time was low i will give them that but our nurse was HORRIBLE half the time it wasn't even our nurse that helped us. we sat for 45 mins before they would even give pain med to him i have NEVER had a hospital experience this bad it was like no one really cared then the doctor wanted to give him a cat scan because he thought my husband had something that had nothing to do with the tooth... i think he just wanted more money out of us then he had already taken! i just want to say if you don't have to go to this hospital DON'T pick another hospital

I gave a one because zero wasn't an option! I live out of town and nurses don't answer the phone or return phone messages. Several family members have called and results were the same. Not one person I have spoke w has been nice. The staff denies and or ignores the patients rights and trys to convince them what they are suppose to do! They show no compassion to family members. I do not support or trust this hospital in any way!

The ladies that did my stress test were great! Kay, Robin and Olivia are very nice and made me feel comfortable. They keep me informed about what was going to happen. I hope I remembered the ladies names correctly. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Well if it wasnt snowing and if the roads were better we would not go to centerpoint. This is twice we have been here in 24hrs. My wife is a heart transplant patient ,type 1 diabetic and has ITP. They had her here earlier we said she has keytones she going into DKA. The docs did nothing other than say she might have a stomach bug and sent her home and now here we are back with keytones. Worst hospital ever and we have been to alot. If you feel sick or are hurting DONT go to centerpoint they will just wast your time and send you home so they wont have to deal with you! Save your self DON'T GO TO CENTERPOINT!!!!

Staff members could not have been nicer & courteous. Escorted me to room and back. Answered all my questions . Explained the procedure and assured my comfort during the procedure. Awesome

I want to premise this by saying that there are so...

I want to premise this by saying that there are some negative things that I have to say about this institution, however they are certainly not motivated by personal spite or resentment. This is a professional and most importantly, a spiritual evaluation and assessment of my experience there, bearing the weight of how important a hospital and its performance in those three fields is, to the human race. First of all, I was seen in the emergency room rather quickly. Each position that was deemed a requisite for my reason to be there, was timely. The nurses whom asked me the necessary questions were somewhat polite, however, of the three or four professional individuals in the same room with me, none of them must have placed much value in modesty. When one nurse literally demanded that I remove my shirt, I did, and the door remained open for the rest of the time I was there. Doctor Vogt, one of two professionals employed there whose name I remember, was the only rendering of an overwhelmingly or even notably positive experience of my time there.
Doctor Vogt's list of positive attributes is so exhaustive that it could occupy it's own review and there would be a chance that Google wouldn't allow for its entirety because of its necessary volume.
He is attentive, polite, open-minded, thoughtful, personal, respectful, selfless, professional, exceptionally informed and memorable, in a very abridged appraisal. He is respected by the rest of the staff.
The X-ray technician has about as many negative attributes of note, as the good doctor does laudible.
He was forceful, aggressive, lacked the necessary knowledge of his profession to answer the most rudimentary question, and impersonal. He was selfish and valued his pace of work more than the comfort of the human individual that was unfortunately around him while he made his pay, as evidenced by how he didn't ask if I wanted my bed replaced to the angle which he found it. I asked him what the "s and g" meant on the image he made with radiating me, and he claimed the lettering was arbitrary. He didn't laugh when I suggested that they could just use a rhinoceros instead of letters, if it was arbitrary. It turns out, the "s" means sensitivity.
Next, it only gets worse. I was waiting for a cab, and the individual at the front desk of the E.R. was named Erica. She hastily and abrasively asked me, "What do you need?" Well, Erica, look around you, I'm a patient at the hospital which you work. People die here. Why don't you refer to the textbook called, "Doctor Vogt's List of Possible Attributes"? That'll be a good jumping off point. Here's where it gets grizzly. I happened to notice, thank G-D, that ranitidine, the GI medicine which I'd been taking off and on for weeks, had very recently been found to probably cause cancer, by the FDA. I approached a doctor at this facility, Centerpoint, and asked if he knew Doctor Vogt. He did, and when I proceeded to begin a quick question-answer about the carcinogenic properties of ranitidine, he brushed me off with a "you can trust him" a thumbs up and abruptly shutting the physician leisure room door. I waited for more than twenty minutes for him to emerge and finish our conversation. I'm sure he just forgot we were in the middle of one. I had started a voice recording once he snubbed me, and had recited "Love keeps no record of wrongs," a few times to myself. My ride showed up, as I do not have my own transportation at the moment, and it keeps me humble. I found another doctor with which to finish the NDMA conversation. He was equally as condescending and impersonal. He couldn't even read the sentence I asked him to read, regarding NDMA, perhaps because the letters were so small on my phone. He tried. He seemed to find it funny, judging by his snickering, of which I have an audible record.
So that's my experience with Centerpoint, and since I have a brief but personal relationship with the CEO of the University of Kansas Health Systems, I'll see if he and Vogt will hit it off.

I went to the ER because I was having trouble breathing. The ER Staff immediately took me back and got me started on a course of treatment. Steroids through my IV and Breathing treatment two cycles. I was admitted and the D.O. comes in and informs me because after all this treatment he can't see anything wrong now that I should go see a Psychiatrist because obviously the fact I was having trouble breathing when I lay down is all in my head. The ER doctor said my lungs sounded gunky and so did the person from respiratory but obviously this D.O. knows more then people who were actually there. Oh and the D.O. actually called up the ER doctor and told her that it is OK to call him for a consult before making any decisions on an ER patient.

I went in through the emergency room. It was completely full. It ended up I had a heart attack. But the nurses and doctors were amazing. I also have anxiety disorder and panic disorder and everyone was very helpful. Believe me I am a handful when all of those things kick in with me. They went above and beyond to help me.

I recently had a couple of surgeries at Centerpoint Medical Center and have continued to go to them for treatment. Centerpoint is an exceptional hospital and the staff have been truly amazing. Not only did they provide wonderful service while I was there, they continued to check up on me after the surgery. I received several surveys afterwards to gather information and insight into how I perceived my stay and the services as well.

If a pulmonary patient, stay clear of "Doctor" Mary Wurtz. She actually acts as if she is GOD and makes decisions based on her feeling regarding YOUR anticipated quality of life....which she is more than obliged to take from you. She will probably wind up being brought up on murder charges one day. Terrible, evil woman, based on my experience with my mother. My opinion, of course. To be fair, she is the ONLY negative I find with this facility. But keeping her on staff gives the entire place a ZERO star rating (if only I could give ZERO stars.)

While the ER wait was short, the DR and some RNs were good and friendly, getting my records is a nightmare. They are all wrong, and the hospital is making it difficult to not only get them, but to correct the mistakes. With all the hospital choices in the area, Id defiantly pick another one. The billing department is the worst I ve ever delt with. They ve double billed, sent the wrong bills. Between billing and records, definitely better choices in the area.

I went to the emergency room at center point yesterday. First off, i did not have to wait. I was immediately put into a bed. I only had to wait 1 hour before i was off to x-rays. The Doctor, Dr. King was amazingly cool and awesomely nerdy and wanted so much to teach me everything he knew about my ailments. he was brilliant and so down to earth it was unbelievable. My Nurse Leanna was amazingly cool and really gentle. She was so motherly and sweet. I left well informed about what steps i needed to take to get better. I am not sure what happened with other people, but my experience was amazing. Thank you guys sooo much for taking care of me and it's good to know that some people treat you like a human being and not another cash cow or a dumb idiot. Thank you Dr. King.

Came in to the ER with my sister today and I never dealt with a more rude nurse ever in my life. Carla Frazier was my sisters nurse and she was completely unprofessional, terribly rude, and completely un understanding!!!

I was there in the ER. (August 21st approx 6:00 pm) Most everyone was nice and professional. When I first went back to get my ekg, the gentleman was amazing, but there was a female nurse in there complaining the whole time about another employee. She even used the "F" word. It was very unprofessional with a patient in the room. Other than that, I time there was great!

Slipped on the stairs this morning and hurt my toe...

Slipped on the stairs this morning and hurt my toe. I thought it was broken. I wanted to avoid ER if possible so I called the local urgent care first and described the injury; was advised to visit the ER. I didn't have to wait terribly long which was a plus, but I was standing there in extreme pain on one foot while they took BP and temp. Wheelchair wasn't offered till after. I guess I assume a medical professional will examine a person thoroughly but that didn't happen. I did get x-rays and they assured me my toe isn't broken despite it being angled to the side now. They gave a dose of medicine in the ER and a prescription for the same, despite being told it provided no relief whatsoever. This is the first time I have ever been to Centerpoint and first time to an emergency room in years. It just confirms to me that medical professionals have no desire to provide adequate treatment. I was advised to elevate foot, take ibuprofen, and see an orthopedist. If their orthopedist of choice provides the same type of care Centerpoint did, I will probably be best off on my own. Have been in continuous pain since this morning, no relief, and have many stairs to navigate in my home just to attend to basic necessities, let alone the hindrance to my care for my family of 5. I assure you they had no problem examining my insurance and credit card to get payment for their "services rendered".

Overall my husband and I had a great experience. My one suggestion for improvement is that preregistration check insurance coverage more carefully. They called to say that we had a $400 copay when in fact we had none. Now I'm waiting to get my copay back.

I am not sure why my review was removed?? below is my review:
I am writing this review to help those who choose to go to Centerpoint Medical Center for Physical Therapy. I went to PT at Centerpoint 8 times and they charged $14,500 to my insurance. That runs approximately $1,800 per visit which is insane. Due to the fact that I had a PT there treating me with disrespect, embarrassing me in front of the other patients, pushing me to do exercises that repeatedly put me in pain and having me do home exercises way further progressed than where I was, I chose to spend my money on Physical Therapy elsewhere. My new therapist has got me further in recovery in a less amount of time than the PT at Centerpoint and he only charges my insurance $210 per visit. Do your homework folks, Centerpoint Physical Therapy is a joke.

I had a sleep study done. Room was very nice and clean. My tech (Kent) was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I was impressed overall.

Was in a car accident and told them my neck and back was hurting. I was in a wheelchair and they set me in the waiting room with no neck collar and waited for about 15 minutes before they wheeled me in and checked me in. Was seen only by a nurse practitioner who just pushed on my neck and said they will do CT scan and said there was not rooms for my to lay down in so I was wheeled into a room with someone else and put in a recliner chair. When my scans came back I was given discharge paper and a prescription. I told the nurse I wasn t even seen by a doctor and her reply was you seen a nurse practitioner if you feel you need to talk to her then I ll get her if not here s your paperwork and I ll wheel you out to the waiting room and you can wait for a ride there. This is the worst experience I ve ever had with CenterPoint and I felt more like I was bothering them then them helping me. Next time I have to go to the ER I will choose a different hospital!!!!!!! Very disappointed and unhappy!!!!!

You are likely to die waiting on assists. I have been here for 6 hours and I have yet to leave the emergency room. I was told 4hrs ago that I would be moved to a room and I am still waiting. Nurses check up on you when the machine start going haywire. I have had nothing to eat all day. I was told by the doctor I could have ice chips. Still waiting. Still waiting on pain meds. Just a freaking mess. There in no excuse for the poor service. Mind you I have insurance so what's the excuse.

Back in March of this year I saw a nurse practitioner who gave a prescription for pain meds. After taking my drug test for my CDL I need the same nurse practitioner to sign a release form stating that I can drive a truck. When I called I spoke with sever different rude people in the ER, I was told that they don t feel out paperwork. After speaking with the rude patient advocate, I was told to have my primary doctor do it whom did not write the prescription.
I would never recommend Centerpoint hospital to my worst enemy. Mind you they didn t attempt to find out why I was in so much pain. You guys can write a prescription but you can fill out a release form.

Enter this facility at your own risk. An older gentleman was admitted after a fall, and was supposed to stay in for a simple overnight observation. At the time he was admitted he was walking, talking, cognizant, and fully aware of his surroundings, though sore from his fall. After he was admitted, the hospital staff overdosed him on dilaudid and did not monitor him appropriately after giving him the pain medication. He stopped breathing and required a ventilator for several days. The doctor attempted to blame the patient for requesting the drugs. The nurses did not monitor him after administering the drugs. A family member overheard a conversation between nurses and one mentioned that he was the 3rd patient that week who had been given an overdose of pain medication. After several days at Centerpoint, he passed away. Again, enter at your own risk.

Caring people work there! It seems like I dread having tests done any more because they always find something else wrong. The process was simple. I had trouble scheduling. The receptionist was pleasant and the person doing the exam was very professional. I had the results of my test before I left,

I had a Parotidectomy yesterday. First things first, Dr. Douglas Cowan. is amazing. A Parotidectomy is considered a major surgery because of the facial nerve's. One wrong cut and serious things can happen, but things couldn't have turned out any better (honestly, I had no doubt.) As far as the hospital staff, I cannot say enough good things about them. Everyone: my nurse, Kathy, my OR nurse, Jeremiah, and my Anesthesiologist, Robert, was very thorough and made me feel as though I was their only concern. Ensuring my surgery and experience was a total success. I have not dealt with ER or billing; but for me and my experience I couldn't have asked for any better. Thank you.

Had to spent unplanned time at centerpoint while attending a Chiefs game and had fall which required surgery and stay at the medical center.
The staff cound had ben more understanding and accomodating. The team ment our every need and on many occasions bend over backwards to take care of my needs as well my wife who stayed with me during my recovery and rehab. Our total stay was 10 days. Unbelievable bunch of nurses , therapist , techs and doctors .Thanks for getting me on my road to recovery. Go Chiefs!!

The WORST hospital with the most uncaring and unpr...

The WORST hospital with the most uncaring and unprofessional employees I have had to deal with in my life. I have made the mistake of going to their ER more than once because it s the closest. Never. NEVER again will I go there. I have already informed my friends and family and will add a note with my ICE entry if no one is around. I don t care if I am bleeding from every orifice and happen to be across Jackson Drive at the AMC 20, I want to be taken to Lee s Smmit Medical Center, Saint Luke s, or even Truman! I would rather die a slow excruciating death than be treated like garbage at their ER by their heartless, soulless, and cold emotionless people they employ. After insinuating that I m too fat to walk a few feet from the front desk to triage, they billed my insurance over $1200 even though I signed no paperwork authorizing treatment they also never sent me a bill or contacted me. If an elevated heart rate is caused by a few footsteps inside the hospital, then what brought me to the hospital you pieces of excrement???!!!! Sorry for the length of this review, but this is just the tip of the proverbial ice berg of horrible treatment, such as forced cathederization when a blood test would have been more than enough to verify pregnancy especially when I already had a port, but I digress. Longer story shorter, avoid this hospital like the plague. 0 stars would be more apropos.

OMG do not go to this hospital! It is really shocking how little they know about medicine. If you value your life; go ANYWHERE ELSE but not here. Especially if you have cancer; you will be treated badly and the constant errors they make with meds and prescription meds can be deadly. If for some reason you have to go here; be sure to ask for a copy of your medical records because when something goes wrong and you call a lawyer; they have a way of making things disappear from your file. In one month they made dosage errors 4 out of 5 times. They order unnecessary tests and anything else they can do to rob you. I want to know why this place is still in business. Oh and by the way; if you're poor you're screwed!!! 'Merica!!

I have always had the most thorough workups and dealt with the most professional and compassionate medical staff from check-in to the actual Doctor. With my medical history it makes me feel secure knowing they always have resources available for my medical needs. Thank you Centerpoint!!

Worst experience ever. Staff are rude. You are herded like cattle through the ER. Noone is considered a priority. HIPAA privacies are non-existent. Nurses tell you that there's nothing that they can do for you go home come back in 5 days if not feeling better When in the middle of a miscarriage. I will never step foot in that hospital again even if I have my leg cut off in the parking lot of the hospital. Take my advice stay away!!!!

This was the worst experience ever! My brother wa...

This was the worst experience ever! My brother was scheduled to have a feeding tube installed @ 9:00am 12/19/16, he has throat cancer and has been under going Chemo and Radiation treatments since 11/17/12. These treatments have cause his throat to be very sore and causing problems for him to eat and be able to swallow. After arriving at the hospital his vital signs were done and determined that he had a temperature of 101, Dr. Cory that was to perform this procedure spoke with my brother about his temperature and, at that time my brother showed him a card that his Cancer doctor (Dr. Tally) had gave him. The card said, if his temperature was 100.5 or above that he was to go to the Emergency room. Dr. Cory then proceeded to call Dr. Tally. After that phone call Dr. Cory told my brother that Dr. Tally was an older Doctor and that they butted heads a little, he then told my brother that Dr. Tally wanted to see him, told him to get dressed and walk down to Dr. Tallys office. Dr. Tallys office is at the Susan Cannon Cancer Center, almost 1/4 from entrance of the hospital and it's 9 degrees outside that day, my brother walked to the door and looked and realized how far it was and, went back to the nurse and asked if he was really supposed to walk there. Luckily this was a good nurse and she said absolutely not, and got a Sheriff to drive him there. After being checked out by Dr. Tally, they discovered my brother temperature was normal. The surgery was reschedule to 1:00pm that afternoon, (after some intense discussion with Dr. Cory form Dr. Tally). Surgery went well and my brother was admitted (room 427)to stay over night to insure his body accepted the feeding tube. From this point he was treated like crap for the most part, he was on clear liquid diet but never fed anything until after 7:30pm on 12/20/16, he prescribed a mouthwash that he was to rinse with 4 to 6 times a day because, his mouth was raw from radiation treatments and to help protect his teeth, he didn't receive this mouth wash until late morning of 12/21/16, and then was only gave this wash twice and the bottle was half empty already. He was only supposed to be in hospital over night, one of his nurses even asked why he was still there at 7:30pm on 12/20/16. At 1:00pm on 12/21/16 James asked nurse to disconnect his IV so he could leave, the nurse (Mark) to him they needed to get release paper work ready before he could leave. Dr. Tally came to my brothers room to sign release papers and asked why he was still there, and said that he was supposed to go home the day before. My brother was told by nurses that he would be taught too use feeding tube, and gave a case of Javity 1.2 to take with him to use until his home health nurse could get with him. He was never taught how to do this, he was not given any equipment to feed his self. 4 bottles of Javity 1.2 was brought to his room for him to take home, and his nurse (Mark) seen them and said no way, you don't get all that and took 3 of the 4 bottles away. 12/22/16 my brother is now home, his home health nurse comes to his house to check on him. She asked where his equipment was to feed his self and clean the tube, he explains he didn't receive any and, all that he has is a large syringe that was left in his hospital room that brought home with him. The home health nurse than asked what all the green stuff was on his stomach around the feeding tube, the nurses had never Cleaned him, and told him he was only allowed to take a sponge bath while have this feeding tube.
So to sum this all up, My brother was abused by your nursing staff, Dr. Cory, his meds., were stolen from him by nurses or someone on staff, his food to take home was taken from him. This has got to be the worst hospital ever.

I have been going to the ER here for over 7 years ...

I have been going to the ER here for over 7 years only because it s the closest hospital to me when I m in a medical crisis and need to be treated ASAP. If it s not an issue that is of dierneed I will go to another ER in another town a little farther away. Why because a pretty good number of the medical staff are racists and they often patient profile patients. Another reason is there s no diversity among the medical staff. It s probably 98% Caucasian and 2% anything but minority. I live, Work and play in a diversified community (country), but there s no diversity in the hospital medical staff. That s saying a lot to me and it s definitely not positive. They treat and bill patients from all walks of life and ethnic groups but don t employ the same on their medical staf? Hmmm I don t trust that.
Forgot to mention that I was being treated last week in the ER and the patient next door to me saw my African American son walk into my room and she started screaming how she hates N*gg**s and did not want to be next to N s and she was going to kill us so the nurse came into my room and not ever so politely said if either of y all need to leave the room to go home or use the restroom or anything y all need to go to your left because you have a racist in the room next door and we just sedated her but do not want her to be upset again. I was so sick and exhausted that I said ok and went back to sleep immediately but when I woke up I wondered why did I feel scolded and was asked to go out of my way to accommodate the racist patient. I had no problem with her she had one with me. They kept my curtains closed so I had no idea of who was walking past my door. They should have closed her curtains too not tell me to creep the other way to appease her. I m still offended Centerpoint I m going to start recording my visits there so people can see how they really treat their patients. Not all staff is like this but there s quite a few bad apples in this facility.

The nurse practitioner never even did an assessment. She did not touch the area where the pain was or feel the knot under the skin. She ordered a bunch of useless test that we will be charged for. The option to see the Dr was never offered. When we asked to see a Dr because the practitioner didnt do anything, the practitioner started getting defensive and copped an attitude. All of this going on while we were left to sit in the waiting room. We were having a conversation with another patient about the serious lack of quality treatment this hospital provided, when another nurse took it upon herself to rudely butt in. This nurse felt it was necessary to defend her fellow co workers in the nastiest tone of voice possible. When we asked her if we had in cluded her or asked for her opinion she just kept raising her voice. On top of all of this the offending nurse was treating a patient right in the waiting room when there were available rooms for privacy. Then the practitioner decided that she need to jump in on it and an officer came. He realized that the nurses were in the wrong. We finally got the treatment that we requested that should have been offered in the first place. My husband says he wouldn't even take a dying dog to this hospital. This hospital seriously needs real processionals that know how to handle themselves correctly. We did finally get some good ladies to take care of us, but we will not be coming to this hospital again.

Worst experience EVER. Took over 2 hours to be seen in the ER and it wasn't even busy. The receptionist was snippy and rude. The lady who checks your vitals had the most terrible attitude, rude and very irritable. Even the registration person was RUDE. Not to mention the waiting room and restrooms are filthy. Once we were finally seen by the doctor, they never once checked to confirm my name and bday to the info they were going over with me. The last time I was here, they misdiagnosed me. And then had the audacity to send a 3,000 dollar bill in the mail for doing literally NOTHING. And this has been my experience the last 3 times I've been to this place. Horrible.

Took a family member to the emergency room tonight due to alarming blood sugar levels and it has been over an hour and have still not been helped. Apparently there are no working blood glucose monitors in the entire hospital. :(
Edit - after 1.5 hours we left for another facility. Thankfully able to track via over the counter tester and able to resolve the situation another way.
Owner - all the information you need is that you have no working blood glucose monitors in your ER or surrounding areas - thanks!

Had a mri, wasn't told if it was in the medical building or in the hospital.
Went early, found out it wasn't in the medical building, had to walk to hospital area. Found check in personal, was told I had to go to ER.
Finally found the ER, the staff very friendly and helpful.
What irritates me, was all of my time trying to find where to go.

Great labor and delivery area. I had a c-section this past July. I was well taken care of. Nurses and doctors were nice. My friends had thier babies at Turman and were not treated very well. I told them if they ever get pregnant again. To go to centerpoint. Even during a pandemic, my husband was treated great. He was able to help me and our newborn daughter no problem. Glad I choose a great hospital and doctor. Amanda Sundling is a wonderful OBGYN.

Two hours after our family made the very difficult decision to seek hospice care for my critically ill father, Centerpoint Medical Center discharged him to his residential facility which was not equipped to take care of such a desperately sick person. Centerpoint gave us no time to make the hospice arrangements, and since they discharged him late Saturday afternoon, we couldn t get those arrangements in place until Monday, so my dying father did not have medical care or hospice care for two of his last five days on earth. I believe they didn t want his death to occur while he was in their so-called hospital. I want Centerpoint to know that although they succeeded in keeping my father s death from being on their statistical reports, the suffering he endured during those two days should be on their consciences.

Wow these people here!!! I walked out after 4 hours of waiting. I went up front to check in the lady said and I repeat said you are next you have been here the longest. I wasn t even back at my set for 3 minutes and they called to people that came in after me!!! She said only a cardiac would go before. The Er here is a total joke never coming back. I suggest St. Mary s in blue springs or St. Luke s east.

I have had my fair share of surgeries . However this was a major surgery for me and I was extremely scared. I had a partial Hysterectomy at Centerpoint , done by Dr. Lemberger OBGYNMD . I have to say I am over the top happy with all the staff I came into contact with ! Professional and kind , really made a difference in my comfort before , going into and after surgery ! I will have to say waking up in recovery those nurses gotta have one of the most unique positions ! I know the nurse I had was absolutely amazing I didn t catch her name but she was great to me and I thank her for that . The duo of nurses who cared for me before and after surgery Glenda and Jeanne I believe I have that right. Thank you so much for your personalized touch on a bedside manner! You are what nurses are made of ! My family and I cannot be any more grateful for the care I recieved !

I was in the Hospital for a total Hip Replacement. Dr. Hummel and his crew along with the entire Hospital Staff made my stay there very comfortable. The Physical Therapy Staff were amazing. If you are in need of a Hospital, based on my experience look no further.

I m not sure where to start with such a bad experience. First the nurses write on a bracelet what my dad was allergic to and had it wrong. So when I asked the nurse Kelsey about it she was to lazy to help the patient let alone agknowladge their mess up. One lady came stating she was the DON but was just as rude, them got security saying she was unsafe because she also did not want to address their mess up. Then the Dr tried to blame it on the bracelet that his nurse made but then quickly blamed us. I explain that he s the dr and should know. My dad had been there for years and it s clear in his files. Guess what the Dr said he the doctor not us and he knows. WOW we tell him how they messed up and you blame us. Then a nurse DeAnna who was rude, and very unsafe. She cut my dad off while talking to her, stating they are done with him and tried grabbing him. When she was advised multiple times not to touch him she continued to grab at him. At this point security could see the hospital mess up and was helping them a nice nurse Bev came to help. I would not recommend Centerpoint to anyone. They took birthing out to save babies they kept killing, what about everyone else?

The receptionist were all nice as always. They make you feel comfortable and like you are family at the Sara Cannon Cancer center. Dr. Rokkam is wonderful!! She explains everything very well.
