Carpenter,Zuckerman,Rowley Review

After our attorney transferred our case to Carperter, Zuckerman, Rowley law firm. We were a little skeptical because we didnt know anything about the CZR law firm. Once we walked into the law firm we knew we were at the right place. CZR attorneys and staff fought for us, settled our case and made sure we got compensated for our personal injuries. We highly recommend.

This is a great group of people that truly cares for the people! When you need the best with you they have your back fighting from the front. Respectful, comforting attorneys that truly care!

I work for a provider who did business with this law office. I have never seen employees who are so unethical and unprofessional. And management seems to be okay with this. They sit on settlements for six months and then when you ask for payment, they bully you, call you scum and fraud and threaten to sue you. And these threats are made by employees (Ivy Callahan), not their lawyers. Stay away. I will never refer a client or do business with this law firm.

I got injured in Feb. of 2014! Initially I got an attorney who was an ambulance chaser! But then a friend told me about CZR LAW! They are professional , the likes of which I have never seen, they worked hard and treated me like I was a family member. It was a hard case but they knew I was wronged and they stopped at nothing to vindicate me. They helped me win my case and in the process I made new friends! I recommend them highly!!

When I was rear ended in a car accident and required surgery to my shoulder the insurance company fought me on it so it was great to have people I know for a fact that were working in my best intrust helping me all the way thru this ordeal , The most important thing I can say about this law firm is the staff they Exemplified the term kindness and compassion, it was a joy working with them to help move my case along as everyone there was so nice and I felt they truly were working to help me and were fighting for me , I cannot say enough about few of the employees one named Angel he was amazing to work with and made me feel so comfortable I didnt feel like I was dealing with a law office felt more as a friend that wanted to help me, And I very much appreciated that, And another employee that comes to mind I believe his name was Scott he was the attorney that was with me when I gave my deposition. Could not have felt more comfortable and in good hands just a super nice Guy down to earth and I felt I was in good hands having him there with me , witch made the Deposition go more comfortably for me. And I thank him for that. As it can be intimidating Even knowing I was the victim and the one that got hit in the accident.
Long story short they got me the maximum Policy limit That paid for all my medical and got me a nice compensation amount for my pain and suffering.

Great communication through out the process. They where able to get the max amount for my mother which helped her so much. Would have gave the 5 stars but at the end there where fees that didn't belong to my mother case and other errors. Once i emailed my concerns they looked into it and made the corrections . Would recommend just read your final invoices and question your concerns.

I was referred by another firm to CZR. The paralegal staffgot hold of me right away to complete some questionnaires and other papers. My case was then assigned to a lawyer, where I was promptly ignored right up to the filling deadline. I got my case filed by throwing a fit. The first lawyer I had was rude, inattentive, and sent demand letters, without my permission or consultation, that wouldn't even cover the medical bills.

After he angered me one too many times, I was reassigned to the most sincere and attentive attorney. After that, everything was smooth as glass and I got the award I needed to make me whole after a devastating accident.

it is with a heavy heart that I write this review. I previously posted a 5 star review at the urging of my attorneys "PR/Media" gal. I complied as the firm had become a sponsor of a Heart Association event my daughter and I spearheaded in Beverly Hills. This sponsorship was in lieu of me giving them a positive review. I have since deleted it and am updating my rating and review.

It's simple. My life was ruined and I lost everything material after a woman raced through a stop sign and t-boned my daughter and myself, pushing us into a parked SUV.

I was referred to CZR by my original attorney, stating the case was "TOO BIG" for him. I met with Steve Mazza initially who asked me if they took my case, would I be willing to get the surgery that was recommended by my Doctors. I answered that I would, of course. (I am missing a piece of vertebrae between my C-5 & C-6).

In addition, I suffered from a 7 mil bulge/protrusion which I received numerous epidurals as treatment, which provided only temporary relief. My income of 80-90,000 was jeopardized as I was an internet entrepreneur and could no longer sit at the computer. I had an amazing business and life. A single Mom, while I worked many hours but my business afforded me the luxury of a flexible schedule so I could keep close eye on my teenaged daughter. All this changed following this accident.

I was forced (under duress) and almost 2 years of extreme pressure to accept a settlement. By the time medical bills were paid and Carpenter, Zuckerman and Rowley received their money, there was no money left to get the surgery that I desperately needed and had agreed to get. We were six figures short! Big swing. I am faced with debilitating pain every day. I am unable to work and definitely NOT the same woman I was prior to this accident. I have been struggling ever since and it has adversely affected my daughters life. She too suffers from extreme back pain and is now only 21. She has a long life ahead of her, I only hope she doesn't experience the pain I deal with regularly.

I provided CZR with every document they needed, income etc. My daughter and I lost our residence and my source of income. With few options I was forced to live in a shelter in the desert and my daughter was forced to live with friends so she could finish her last year of high school. Separated from my baby, the stress was too much from all of this and I had heart failure. Subsequently, I was forced to have heart surgery. I would call this "cause & effect". I was born with a heart defect and the stress caused by this accident and the events that followed were all a huge factor in regards to my condition.

Bottom line... my experience was that they did not have my families best interest at heart. All they cared about was lining their own pockets.

On a personal note, I don't know him well but Nick Rowley is trouble. My daughter was considering law school and took a part time job with CZR as a "law file clerk" for a few months. She is a GOOD girl, excellent student, peer counselor at her high school, helped me raise $15,000 for the American Heart Association and is big on civic duty. She was seeking sponsorship for an event and reached out to the attorneys for sponsorship. Nick Rowley emailed her and said he had feelings for her and wanted to fly her off somewhere "exotic" and take care of her. As handsome, charming and as rich as the man is... my daughter returned an email respectfully declining. Our attorney (Candice) told her to stay far away from him, as he had impregnated several women and cheated on his wife (whom he had also impregnated!) My daughter heeded Candice's advice. This behavior was completely inappropriate and the firm is unethical.

Also, they old my daughter that they would NOT take their fee out of her (very small) settlement. They did. They really dropped the ball. Beware!

I recently spent a year with CZR representing me . Like most cases that they take on, mine was very complicated and time-consuming. Any law group can claim to be the best and get you what you deserve however, not all groups have an entire team that work together seamlessly. I was able to call, text, and email on a regular basis to receive updates on my case as well as questions answered in a timely matter. Communication is key when your future is at stake and I will recommend CZR to my friends and colleagues

Benjamin advised me well, followed up with me routinely and answered all of my corrrspondence in a timely manner, and ultimately obtained maximum compensation from the liable party. By far the most unprofessional place I ve ever dealt with! I went here for legal help and was told that my case was good and they would take care of everything. A month later not only do they drop my case but failed to inform me that I was now stuck with a medical bills. I called them a week straight to clear this issue and they kept giving me the run around ! I will never ever in my life go back to this place and advice people not too. They are very sneaky and are only care about the money they can get !

I am very pleased with their professionalism which included keeping me updated with the status on my case, contacting me when needed and returning calls within 24hrs or less. First time filing a lawsuit was not disappointed with how well it was managed. At the end I didn t even have to show up to court ! Pleased =D

This law firm is extremely unresponsive and they do not update me whatsoever on the status of my case. If I want to know if there has been any new developments I have to call them to check because they won t email or call to give updates. My case has been in need for final review for quite a few weeks now. If they say they will email you or call you for a follow up, they WILL NOT. I would NOT feel comfortable recommending them to any friend or family member.

This firm, especially, Sark, handled my case of someone causing me a serious negligent accident. The team "seemed" concerned about my welfare and went after the dependents vigorously as far as they told me but after awhile I had to do most of the calling. Most of the time I was able to get updates but the only issue I had was that the paralegals and some of the lien department didn't communicate properly or get back to me in a timely fashion on issues that were pertinent to the case and I had to be abrupt just to get an answer. Also, I'm not sure they got me the most that I could have received, they told me that they did, but, I'm still a bit unsure about that. Anyway, I would still recommend them but just stay on top of them.

I'm still wondering how do you close a case with the client getting no money and it all goes to the sad doctors that I was sent to, how does your group close a case and the client get no money for any suffering they go through, this firm was awful in dealing with my case....

Up date imIstill in lots of pain with neck and back spinal injuries that was caused by a company housejehouse group called ABM and they let this case go, we had videos and no one on my side tried to prove their case fore so why are they even in business...

Would no recommend to anyone get a lawyer off of 1-800 the law 2 they gave me good advise, plus the sad part is this group didn't tell u could have hired someone else to take over my case, spoke with lots of attorneys after my disliking with this group....

CZR Law represented me for an auto accident with another driver that was unlicensed, and the owner of the car did not have sufficient insurance to cover my costs. Needless to say, it took more work than just using my insurance company to recover all of my expenses including the PT and Chiropractic treatments. Sark Ohanian, the acting attorney on my case, and the staff at CZR were very helpful and stuck it out over the years, in order to get as much of costs I incurred from this accident that wasn't my fault. I would be happy to recommend CZR Law and hire them again if ever needed.

I recently wrote a very poor review on this firm citing poor correspondence and communication......then I retracted it because Ivy called and was upset with her offices poor performance. She promised to follow up and expedite my settlement. She offered to make good the settlement in 45 days if the settlement had not been received. It is now 60 days and she refuses to return my calls or text messages and hangs up on me when I call her cell.
My accident was 3 years ago and it has been 6 months since settlement papers were signed...and I have NOTHING. And to insult me more , I received a $5 first aid kit in the mail as a token addressed to me or current resident. WHAT???? or current resident??AND THEY ARE GETTING 45% OF MY SETTLEMENT!!!!!

Nick Rowley tried a case for me after my other Attorney at the firm became ill the day of trial. He literally became briefed on the case within a couple of hours. There were many odds against me including a jury of non-peers. Nick was very compassionate, confident and brilliant in the way he presented my case. He requested an expedited trial which was completed in 3 days with a return verdict for over one million dollars for a slip and fall accident. I would highly recommend him and as he told me on the first day we met "you're lucky to get me" and that was so true!

There was a time I was doubting myself because that s how the other lawyer will make you feel with the questioning, Tiva guided me all the way. After the deposition I was thinking to just settle for less because of the hassle of the case maybe going into trial but Tiva never gave up and pushed me to make sure I get the justice I deserve. I am writing this review in light of my recent settlement of $1.25 million dollars in which I was represented by the greatest law firm CZR and one of their greatest assets, in my opinion the greatest, Lance Behringer. I took extra time before writing and posting my review in order to represent my thoughts and emotions the best way I know how. During that time I reflected and relived every important situation and scenario, from the devastating moment of impact and the screams from my wife to the sound of Lance's voice telling me the case was settled and now over.

The distance between those two distinct life moments when written is measured in mere seconds when read, but those mere seconds where a tumultuous 3 years of real life and anyone who has lived through this type of event knows what I am talking about. It was within those three years I met Lance Behringer from CZR and this review is a reflection of what he offers, not only as an attorney, but as a human being. His competence, compassion and character were second to none and someone who I consider as a God send, holding my hand throughout this horrendous process to the conclusion.

The three years crawled along like a snail stuck in wet sand, and at times it seemed slower than that. I am a person with OCD, ADHD and all other neurosis that are derived from those fabulous qualities and if it were not for Lance Behringer I may have lost my mind. Any time I would find myself losing hope, patience or just wanted to fire all my medical providers he was right there for me, talking me off the ledge.

From our first meeting to prep, discovery, deposition preparation, actual deposition (which was smack in the middle of COVID-19), demand letter to settlement, everything not only went smooth but just as Lance laid it out. The worst part of any type of legal action in which you are injured by another party is the not knowing, the lack of guarantee things will go your way or if you would be made whole (or partially whole) again. Of course what makes the matter worse are all the injuries and pain you have to deal with on a daily basis. It is a constant reminder of who you used to be and what you will not be moving forward. Lance took all those fears and concerns away and allowed me to focus on getting better. He and his staff did all the heavy lifting and took care of me like family.

A quick shout out here to Paul Zuckerman (who is the Z in CZR) for taking my case and for insisting on meeting me, welcoming me as a client, ensuring me that I was in the best hands with his firm. A huge thank you and you DID NOT disappoint! Your firm is efficient, competent and most important, miles ahead in every phase of the process.

It is interesting that this process is the best way to show our appreciation for those that take fantastic care of us as individuals, an opportunity to share our experiences, hoping to lead others that share a similar story and situation in the direction that will help them the most. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CASE!!!
They left me with over a 100k in doctors Bills, and gave me the run around for long enough that I couldnt have any other arttorney file my case. Having this firm "represent" me was so stressful all the way until they succeeded at me just giving up. They even withheld video surveillance evidence when i requested my file. All of a sudden the main portions of evidence are lost. They wont return you phone calls. After reviewing my file it's easy to see that they started the case, zuckerman to be exact, and about 2 years in, stopped responding to the the defense attorneys, and started missing court dates. ZuckermannThan passed my case down to Mazza, and than to siegler. Who seemed like his job was to throw it away and finally resign at mediation. They lost key witnesses, and left me to go to the opposing parties doctor appointments ALONE. They cancelled surgery the day of. I can go on and on. Just take my advice and choose a different firm.

Using CZR for my accident was great. They were very thorough in explaining every step of the process. Anytime I had a question or wanted an update on my case they were always able to give me info that day or first thing the next morning. Jasmine and Sandra especially were very helpful. Thank you

I would not recommend this law firm. Very poor communication, it seemed that I never correspondent with the same person more than once. I even ended up in the court room because they didn t inform me that I didn t have to. So I wasted an entire morning. I attempted to give them more information for my case and they did not want it. It was almost two years before I even met the lawyer that was representing me.

Very unprofessional, unresponsive, constant mistakes and miscommunication. I could not give a lower recommendation.

My case was transferred to CZR Law, from the office of Mr. Michael Silvers (They are GREAT by the way) and I've had the worse experience with this firm. They ignore my calls and emails. My settlement draft was received at their office over a week ago and they have not sent me my check. All they have to do is deposit it to their acct, take away their cut and send me a check for the remaining money. They will not even provide me with a status and/or reason for the delay. I would never work with them again nor will I recommended them to anyone. Ivy, the lien dept. Supervisor will only answer to her convenience, the client is not her priority; and not to mention the very rude young man who answers the phones. I would recommend, Mr. Michael Silvers and Mr. Gary Kaplan. Their staff are helpful and reply on a timely manner.

During trial you could tell Mr. Davani researched the case well and had every aspect covered.
