Dealt with 'SEB GODFREY' for my Ninja1000 purchase. Overall, it was an amicable deal, however I did have a couple of issues with the service. Firstly, the photos of the bike I asked for were from a crappy iPhone, and not any sort of smartphone of the current era that could provide a good photo. Secondly, I asked for oggyknobs to be installed. I was told that they'd cost me $195 and free installation, or $230 supply only. The hell?! Thirdly, I had to specifically tell him to express post me the keys, as he had simply forgotten to send them. Fourth; On the phone to him, I said AS A CONDITION OF PURCHASE, remove the canberra motorcycle center stickers. He whinged about that to me down the phone at the time, and when the bike arrived, they were still present. Not good enough Seb, pick your game up, buddy. -Gordon. EDIT: Also, the owner ringing me to interrogate me over this review some months after I posted it was not appreciated, either. There goes another couple of stars.

Went in to inquire about selling my bike. After taking it for a test ride they told me that because the tacho was sticking the bike was dangerous (how can they sell CB125s if no tacho is dangerous?) and it would require $1000 in parts and labour to fix, so they took $800 off their offer. Instead I went home and fixed it for $0 and 25 minutes of my time (a screw was loose). Team Moto will take you for a ride, but not the kind you're expecting. EDIT: They called me about this review, in the interests of fairness summarized here. TM position is that because the tacho wasn't working, they quoted based on what they deemed was the cost to fix. My opinion is that determining that without price actually doing a mechanical inspection is unreasonable. If a car isn't starting, you don't (or shouldn't) charge for a new engine without checking the battery isn't flat first.

Patchy product knowledge by staff, and don't go there looking for a bargain! Limited product range compared to say Peter Stevens (in other cities) but unfortunately about the best Canberra has to offer.

While in Canberra for a few days thought I would drop in and checkout the new spyder Ryker , after all they are the Canberra agent for Spyder , I wandered around , wasn't approached by any staff yet 4 or 5 were stood at service ? desk . They had two very dusty F3s on display and quite a few agg machines but very little else , so I approached the desk , asked about Rykers and was taken back by the answer " I didn't know they'd even been released ".

Having been a customer of the exceptionally well run Canberra motorcycle Center for over 20 years, and purchased many bikes from them was deeply saddened to learn that the business had been sold. Having purchased a motorcycle from the new owners now called team moto it was quite apparent that the business was not in great hands with poor customer engagement the staff apart from one or two we re arrogant had poor product knowledge and prices were inflated. I recently had cause to trade in the most recent motorcycle purchased from team moto in Canberra, at this point I emailed there used bike sales man who did to my surprise get back to me and made me believe that they would look at my bike and the price I was asking and would work with me on a changeover price this was not to be the case and when in person couldn t of back pedalled any faster. Long story short don t go there unless your desperate there are plenty of other bike stores that aren t located in the swamp that is team moto in Canberra, take your business to Joes motorcycles or Queanbeyan motorcycle store on Yass road. Totally disgusted and disappointed another great Canberra business has been sold to those who are only interested in posing and lining their back pockets don t be fooled by the smiles.

They took over a week to come back to me with a quote and ended up at $16800 for my bike and accessories. Got the exact same bike for $15500 with all accessories from Sydney. They didn't bother trying to match.

Having recently obtained my Learner's License I headed into CMC to look at bikes suitable for me. The Used bike boss (Seb) was very friendly and helpful, and allowed me the space to get comfortable with a bigger bike. From the no pressure test ride, to the sale and contact through the purchase window, Seb in particular was very helpful, and considerate to the nerves that us n00b riders have. I have nothing but praise for the professional approach and will happily look to CMC for my future biking needs.

Last year in late December I purchased a second hand Gsxr 1000 with only 1800ks on it. I was impressed with the condition of the bike and after inspecting and riding it I decided to buy it. The bike was supposed to come with a spare key and the log book. After handing over the cash I went to the front counter to collect the spare key and the log book. I was not impressed when I was given was a 600cc log book and the wrong spare key. The initial excuse was that they gave the key and the log book to another customer by mistake. Anyways they ve neglected to sort out this ongoing issue. 2 months later I ve heard nothing despite my request for them to retrieve my log book and key.

Made an appt 2 replace front & rear tyres, placed order & agreed on price & time. Arrive at store opening to find no mechanic on site and they have only ordered the rear, mechanic arrives 15 minutes after opening. No apology was offered by them, just a half blank look of I don't know what to do or say. This is the second time I have experienced this poor service delivery so there won't be a third, sadly they appear to be the friendliest bunch i've run into for some time but when i'm sick as a dog and drag my butt out of bed to get new tyres friendly doesn't get it done.

I purchased a 2019 Suzuki V-Strom 1000XT with minimal fuss. After a a month I booked in for the first service, they fitted my free panniers and top box at the same time and did a fantastic job. It seems TeamMoto aka CMCC have come a long way. I will be back :-)

I had a very good experience here with the Parts and Accessories team. I bought a new Shoei NXR that was ordered in for me. They price matched it with a competitor, and it was in store in 2 days. Well faster than any online purchase and I didn't pay postage. So seriously, before you buy online check here for a better deal first, I got one.

CMC helped me out when I got a rear puncture. They squeezed me in when I only provided a couple hours notice. The also managed to get my minor service done, so I definitely appreciate getting back on the road so quickly.

Note; no option for 0 stars or even negative stars!! I went to get a duplicate key cut for my bike. It's alarmed, so it needed to be programmed. I went to the service section on Monday ; they explained that they had to order a blank key which would take about 5 days. I pay for the key blank (about $55). I explained that I did not have the "Red" key but I have had it copied before from the key that I had. About 5 days later on Friday I received a text saying that my blank key had arrived, I texted back saying that I would pop in next Thursday and should I book? I did not receive a reply, I assumed it would be okay as the guy at the service desk said it would only take half an hour. The text message I received was a normal text message and did not state that they did not receive replies. I turn up on Thursday, the reception stated that they did not have a mechanic who could do it and also asked if I had brought my bike. I said that I had not ( I was driving my car that day). I explained that the key had been copied before without the need for my bike, and that I was not told that I would need to bring my bike. I make a booking for the following Wednesday; I turn up at 10am sharp. They said it would take about 30-45mins. 15 mins later, they call saying that I need to come back and take the key to a locksmith to get cut, this cost $35. I go back to CMC and give them the keys. I wait 40mins and a guy comes out to say that they cannot do the programming as they need the "Red" key. So, almost $100 and 3 trips and almost 3 weeks later I have key that does not work with my bike. Terrible Service. Would never recommend CMC again. I have spent a couple of grand there buying lids and other bits of pieces, never again. I guess this is what happens with monopolies. I hope that another Motorcycle centre opens up in Canberra, might get them on their toes. Useless!!

Fairing panel was cracked accidently at a previous service but not noticed until a few weeks after the service was carried out. I phoned up, mentioned my concern, drove past on the way home. The head mechanic inspected my bike came back and said that a new fairing panel will be ordered. A few weeks went past had a phone call that the part was in, dropped off my bike received a free loaner bike picked the bike up that day 'job done'. The way that this issue was resolved was fantastic it is a credit to CMC and the staff that work there, very rarely do I see customer service like this. You guys and ladies rock.

Excellent service from Luke, both on phone and FTF. All staff were pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. Took less than ten minutes to process my parts order, and mere three working days to get it in.

Hardley any gear on the shelf. All in above XL sizes. Was there for 40min looking for gear and no one came and asked if we needed help. Really gone down hill since last time I purchased something from them. Prices are terrible too. Taking business elsewhere.

Friendly service from sales staff. However arrogant manager refused to match Yamaha Australia advertised price. Actually stated "They don't dictate the price to us, I can sell the bike for what ever price I want" despite me showing the Yamaha site price and several dealers advertising the same price. Walked out of the shop ... rang WHITEHOUSE Motorcycles in Albury. They matched the advertised price even though their list price was different (Lowered by $400). Bought the bike from Whitehouse the following weekend. Won't be back in a hurry.

Very poor service from your staff today. Your staff need to be taught how to speak to customers. They say one price only to say they can't do it. The staff member was rude and treated me like I was an idiot.

Not worth going if You are looking for anything Indian! Very very disappointed! We have indian bikes and wanted to buy some jackets, shirts vests! Poor selection ! Even the bikes were poorly represented! Staff were non attentive! Not one showed us any interest three were standing chatting to themselves the entire time we were in the shop! Wouldn't waste time going ! Go to Sydney or Melbourne Indian instead! Much better selection and staff are amazing !

I've bought and sold all my bikes through CMC over the last 15 years. Generally excellent customer service - friendly, flexible, and many of the staff are bike riders who are happy to offer share their experience and opinions on equipment. Seb, Clinton, Jess and Ben are always particularly helpful, and always happy to go the extra mile. Sure; CMC attract some criticism, but that's to be expected given the volume of business they do (and the propensity for people to only write complaints). From my experience, whenever things have gone wrong, CMC have done their best to correct the issue and apologise. Keep up the great work guys!

I've made multiple visits to this store and not once have I been approached by a staff member offering assistance. I've also made 3 separate phone enquiries and on each occasion the staff member had committed to getting back to me the following day... 4 weeks later and nothing. At least they are consistent... PUTRID CUSTOMER SERVICE! Such a shame you can't post a review with zero stars...

Bought a new bike and had a couple of years worth of services here. 2 times i have had a problem with them and both times they wheeled the bike into the service area and fixed it. No shop gets it right 100% of the time, but it's the way they follow up and correct a problem that separates them and makes them earn a good rating.

This is a review of the Spare Parts and Accessories shop next door to Sales: Very helpful staff, told me everything I needed to know about the handguards and tail pack I was looking for, staff member pointed out 30% discount to me when considering the options and price was lower than eBay or online sellers by a fair margin. Also bought a set of engine guards from their eBay store and received the item promptly with no hassles. Very good customer service and competitive pricing. Definitely give the parts shop a look before you buy something online.

If i could give zero stars, I would have. Took three weeks to complete a tune up and to get the bike rego ready (blinkers, mirrors etc.). the tune up wasn't great and they never got the bike rego ready. The communication was.. terrible, no one knew what was happening with the bike and they wouldn't let you speak to the mechanic so you could provide clear instructions on the work you would like under taken. I was told several different things by different staff members, it was frustrating and disappointing. Ended up taking the bike elsewhere to get everything sorted. It was completed within 4 days (thats will ordering parts) and was so much cheaper! Poor effort TeamMoto. Pick up your act!

Went into team moto earlier today to purchase my very first set of riding gear and was incredibly happy with the outcome. almost as soon as i walked through the doors a team member came to me and asked if i needed a hand with anything and he was more than happy to help. he was able to give me all the best recomendations and share some of his own personal experiences with me about the gear i was choosing and never stopped being professional, (can't remember his name unfortunately). And come time to checkout there was nothing but smiles, jokes, laughter, and great advice from everyone else in the team. I can not explain just how good their service is and I would definitely recommend them for anything motorcycle related. You have gained a loyal customer and I will definitely be going back for some more gear very soon. Thanks Team Moto, you guys rock!!!

I would not recommend CMC to anyone wanting to buy a motorbike. Customer Service is a -10. They do not care about what people think of them. As long as they can make money off people they are happy. 3 bikes in 1 Year and still having issues and not satisfied. Bought a Demo Suzuki SV650 bike 2 days before a MotoGP trip as 2 previous 2 Kawasaki Z250SL's were faulty (after the Mechanic had ridden it and experienced the issues and my dad who is a qualified Mechanic). When I got home with the SV650 we noticed the bike had been dropped, scratched and damaged, CMC couldn't care less when called and mentioned these issues to them. They promised replacements for the parts that were scratched and broken, 1.5 years later I am still waiting on these parts. Also been paying for a motorbike I do not own anymore either and they are not very helpful to get back to you in regards to these matters. Worst shop by far!!!

EDIT: After requesting an email with more details (which I sent), there was no response. This place is a joke. Having purchased a KTM 1290 Superduke from a TeamMoto (Brisbane) previously, to say I'm disappointed with this store is an understatement. - Called about a new 1290, told one would be on the floor by the weekend. - Drop in on the weekend, told it wasn't put together because staff weren't available. Left number. No call. - Drop by another week later, told they don't know if they have the bike. Enquired about another bike for price, but there was no price available. Left number. No call. Happily followed through with the purchase of a new S1000RR from the BMW dealer, because they didn't stuff me around.
