Force you to a very expensive premium subscription. That new app is as confusing as anything. I'm glad I left these messers

BEWARE of payments to BUNQ accounts! Bunq accounts are widely used by criminals for fraud via WhatsApp, for example. After such a cowardly but unsuccessful attempt, I tried in vain via twitter and website to contact Bunq to close the account of these criminals asap. (You can't even call.) No response, a standard email and that's it! So Bunq does not care that they are associated with scams.

bunq made traveling really convenient. I have to travel a lot for my job and it s nice knowing that I won t be charged hidden fees for foreign currencies.

If I could point out something to improve would be the card design, the rest simply great.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just had to this time. If I could I would rate 0/5. This is definitely the worst banking experience ever. When I try to transfer funds out of my account, it does not work. Their customer service does not respond, the worst support (and service) I've seen in my life.

I have created a bunq Account a few times, but I have no idea how to add my account Number because once I have proven with my ID card that it is me, bunq indicates that they will hear something from them within 24 hours.
But if I am no longer on the App for half an hour, it automatically logs out and I can no longer log in.
What am I doing wrong?

Get a little too much to do with scammers at bunq now. Unfortunately, Bung hardly participates in countering this. They better throw out scammers as soon as possible, because these are just suspicious transactions worth thousands of euros. That is sent from innocent people to scam criminals and bung just facilitates it.

The app is pretty fun and it s a bank. Who would ve guessed.

In any case, a fan of the app for years, but nice to also see the office (a piece) inside during an introduction / application. The whole atmosphere feels good. Young, driven, skilled and enthusiastic. And just as colorful as the app.

Seems very handy and easy, but you end up disappointed. The app does not work and you cannot reach your money. Bunq does not have a customer service or phone number that you can call, so just hope you can get back to your money someday. I hope they will contact you soon (how? That remains a mystery) so that I can end the bill and get my money back!

The problem with this site is the identification duty. It is said when you deposit 1 cent that you immediately get a bank account and accountant, but this is certainly not the case. You will get a screen dumped with that you have to verify ID and that means that you have to make a scan with your smartphone and then the question is if they still approve you will see a clock with 24 hours, my ID was rejected they could not read that they say, while I helped at abn amro in 3 minutes and yes I immediately received a bank account with a pass for 1.40 euros within 1 week .. Besides, not with BUNQ go into them, rather go to abn amro or ingbank, at abn amro you have 5 bank accounts for 3 and a half euros and an ordinary bank is more reliable than an app bank. Those are real suckers, your identification already corresponds to the bank where you deposited your 1 cent on it.

While if you open an account at papypal it has to match your current account for you for name and everything. And if there is fraud then paypal asks for your identification and nothing else. You only pay those two cents and then your act will actually have your account opened at paypal.

Very poor service and little knowledge. And do not respond to your questions. As a business customer I can absolutely advise against it.

Beware of this app and don't give in to their marketing stunts to go premium. Once you give in, you'll only allow them to charge your ridiculously expensive fees. I opted out but until now I may account has not been credited for the unnecessary fees they charged to me. My account was also temporarily closed after they have charge those fees. It caused a huge inconvenience on my part.

It worked quite nicely as an extra business account (no costs in addition to the transactions / account statements you asked for), then they send you an e-mail that you are transferring to another variant due to a renewed business package. Nowhere is it clearly stated that you are now suddenly going to pay, the only thing that could indicate this is the 4th paragraph which states the following statement:

I have never seen this, in the chat I get the reaction that I have read it. This confirms mailchimp.
For a bank that says it is minded this is of course a joke, opening an url in the email equals reading.
If you are going to adjust prices unilaterally in this order of magnitude, ask for a read confirmation / agreement.
Instead of deliberately communicating unclear about the upcoming costs, and not wanting to apply a settlement when it is established.
Hopefully my second account with ING will be opened soon so that I can say goodbye to this bank.

Cash is a way of the past. bunq is proof of that (but luckily if you ever need cash you do get free cash withdrawals).

The workplace is clouded with unhealthy competition. Everyone wants to get recognized to get that extra incentive which I think is not worth disturbing your inner peace.

Bunq is awesome, never thought I could have such a banking experience on the phone. Definitely worth all these 5 stars. Though would be great if they could have an expense tracker integrated within the app.

I have ordered the debit card twice. It never arrived. No tracking number nothing. No phone number. Nothing. I was premium but never received the card. Unbelievable!!!

Bunq apparently converted the free accounts to paid accounts. They will email this to you and you will not be able to pop it up in the app.
If I indicate that I have not seen this email and therefore have not agreed to a paid account, the answer is: sorry you pay and then you can close your account.

They do not know customer-friendliness, hope that many more customers will join me. This is not a way of doing business.

One of the things they must improve is their response time. You can not call Bunq, no chat possible only email. The response time is unknown and take 1 up to a few days.

So far I like the app. It s the first mobile bank I ve tried and I think it s pretty easy to use.

Managers here create a very toxic and hostile work environment. They are belittling and berating their people. They treat them like garbage that they can easily throw whenever they want. Their ego is so huge and their behavior is atrocious. No one can work for long here.

I want to confirm it in my email but no, what happens?

Very bad app, it opens with how many trees I have, and how many weeks I have saved. Indeed, I have already saved for 3 weeks, because I have not passed the point that I (35) have to ask my parents for permission ...... I would have preferred not to save those weeks but just did my accounting ... App is totally unclear, so things go wrong. Who will help me ??? I have registered with this Banq. I got my first salary at this Banq. And the Banq immediately blocked my accounts. And they don't answer my Emily, and use them in-app. Where can you sign up ???

Very bad support, no answer to my questions. Due to the switch scheme I could not cancel my membership, but the switch scheme was until June 20, now June 26, still can not close my account .. The costs are not exactly cheap and no phone number to communicate with someone. I have very bad experience with bunq.

Bunq is fantastic. We use it to share accounts transfer money and enjoy life. One of the best companies out there. And I have not even mentioned their customer service yet ;)

Bunq apparently is used to scam/do phising. Just been ripped off for (luckily only) 138 euros.

Clearly not safe and too easy for scammers to use.

I have been using Bunq for the last 3 years and was generally happy with their (albeit limited) free basic package. Though with the recent changes, they reduced all basic banking services including money transfers from the free account. Without me willing to switch to a paid version (2x more expensive than ING), they have taken my money hostage (I can't transfer it out). I am closing my account and switching banks.

These people keep on increasing the money you have to pay for every transaction. I can't afford the high fee, so I am switching my bank. I hope they don't scam other customers as they have scammed me.

I don t know why I didn t try mobile banking before but it s been really great. It saves me a lot of time too.

Unreliable bank administration. I registered for a bank account when costs were 4 cents per transaction. A month later they changed it to 1 euro per month. 3 months later they changed to 7,99 euro per month. As I wrote already: what will they change next year? And the next, etc.? It became simply an unclear and unreliable bunch of amateur bankers unable to figure it out how to have a profitable business. If you like uncertainty, this is your bank.

They are ripping off customers. I gave in and signed up to a premium account but I was shocked to have been charged with expensive fees and other service charges. I didn't sign up for that so I bet those were hidden so customers won't hesitate to get a premium account. You've been warned.

Almost no help. You can 'mail' via the app, but then they let other customers respond. I have been waiting for an answer for weeks for a question. Meanwhile, days that certain deposits no longer come through ... Mailing through the app makes no sense (anymore). You rarely get an answer. Good bank, but the customer service sucks big time!

Never missed any payment, completely secure and safe. Much more modern than the rest, bunq is just awesome

So far very good. Best digital banking with different card options. I am using it for nearly two weeks. The app works really fine. I can see a lot of bad reviews, dont know what went wrong with them. I moved to Netherlands recently and I opened this bunq account instantly and started using with apple pay. The card arrived in just 2 days.

I started it because of a connected account with a friend, upgraded to Premium and I couldn t have made a better choice. I share accounts or request money instantly.

Do not do business with this bank. They are first-class crooks. I opened an account with them for convenience and speed. The plus costs are also no problem. I have deposited into my account to make a purchase. It took 2 days before they indicated that they found the deposit suspicious (money came from a NL account). After I have submitted all documents no response yet. My money is just missing !!!!!

A bank that delivers exactly what they tell you, amazing app!

Bunq has wrongly and without giving any reason blocked ALL my accounts and cards, including joint accounts with my partner.

The money is now held for 2 months (!!) after which I can enter an IBAN to which it will be transferred.

I have asked several times for the reason for this drastic decision, this is not heeded and reference is made to the terms and conditions.

The new app is really a drama, you cannot activate passes, payment is a drama, but it is clearly visible how many trees you have planned, that is ...

Great quality app that with an amazing support team.

Perfect online banking experience but horrible support. There is a bug in their app because of this you can't order new cards and they offer no alternative to order new cards. Going on a business trip soon in need of a new card and now the only solution I have is to close my bank accounts and open a new one somewhere else that does have decent support. The customer service also keeps closing my tickets without a proper respone.

I download it a month ago and I m amazed how easy and quick it is, cheers to the developers

Horrible new design, features are being shoved through your mouth. You need to wait minimal of 1 day for support.

This is the worst bank. I tried to make a transfer and they blocked my account without any explanation, now they don't return my money and they don't answer my messages.

A fantastic app with a lot of possibilities. The different accounts, the different passes, the sharing of accounts.

I was really, really, really a fan of Bunq. Until we wanted to open an account for one of our daughters ...

We've been working on this since December, and we'll keep going around in the support chat in the same loop. Sometimes it seems as if a support employee wants to help, but within a day we get the same standard emails and questions that have been asked and answered at least about 10 times.

Today I have indicated that they still have to settle things today and that otherwise the 5 of us will transfer our business to another bank.

I wonder if I can make a 3-star review of this 1-star review after today.

bunq is definitely something else. Also different from FinTechs like N26. bunq is financed solely by fees. There are no loans (which I personally find positive). For a price of 7.99 per month you get Maestro and Mastercard, tap & pay for Android, 25 bank accounts and an ingenious app. Support is a dream. I can recommend bunq to anyone who really wants a different bank.

Not Even a Phone Number

This so-called bank doesn't even have a phone number. Only chat with the costumer service team. Such a waste of time. I can't type every little thing. Improve!!

Previously had two accounts 1 and / or account together with my wife, Costs 5 euros per month and 1 account that I had to take with my mortgage. Costs 2.50 per month. 1 bank has had the interest at 0 for a long time, the other bank is stuffed with state aid and finds the productive money to be intertwined in weapons and other gangs. That must of course be different. Bunq premium account opened and settled within 5 minutes. Immediately got 3 passes. My friend has Bunq Free and can therefore just use one of the cards through the shared account. Perfect! She needed some extra help through her foreign passport and was immediately helped at 11 o'clock in the evening! Fine Bunq respect! We now already have 5 accounts running at no extra cost, 2x private, shared, savings and business for me. And let it be just that the organization with which I have the most payment traffic also uses Bunq. So send and receive payments 24/7, even on weekends where other banks still take your interest away from you by holding it. Can only say Bunq you make our life easier :) Keep it up and keep innovating then I will happily pay those 8 euros :)

Very bad , I made a transaction and the account number is not longer valid, now the money is gone, no answer no money back in to my side or the other party scam!!

Beware! This intermediair is being used by a lot of fraudster and scammers! The bank itself is unreachable. Never ever respond to a payment requested by someone from this bank! Made for thiefs....

I recently moved to the NL and I like that they give you an option to get the Maestro card the debit Mastercard. It s nice having the two options since I want to some traveling too.

Due to an incorrect reversal by a customer, with whom we had already arranged the reversal, our account has been blocked for 2 weeks. BUNQ does not show any initiative to solve the problem and it is almost impossible to contact them. We are looking for another bank.

Up till now I'm still clueless as to what happened to my account. All of a sudden it says it can't be accessed. Tried to contact their customer support, but you won't be able to talk to anyone who can actually help. Is this a scam?

They are only good in persuading you to get a premium account, but don't expect any help if you have issues thereafter. I wanted to waive an annual fee - like what I used to do with any of my bank account - and tried contacting their customer support. To my surprise, I can't get a hold of a real person to talk to. Everything is automated, from chat support email support. Don't even try calling their hotline. Nobody's going to answer. I'm really opting out of this bank app. Such a waste of time.

The app is super fast and any service you required is delivered properly. I have no complaints so far, just a good overall experience.

There are many fake positive reviews about this bank on Trustpilot and google. Beware of fake postive reviews and do not trust this bank. This bank's name is associated with scam and a lot of fraudulent activity. BUNQ IS A SCAM. DO NOT TRUST THIS SCAM BUNQ .

For no reason I no longer have access to my account !! Because of this I get into very big problems with my business. Very poor (almost not) accessible !!!!

In the month of April / May I had serious problems with my business account. The fact is that, through no fault of my own and knowing, my account has been tampered with.

Subsequently, the account was blocked and deleted without warning or other notification. I have also been blacklisted, which makes it impossible for me to participate in social (payment) traffic.
