In the beginning this was a good bank, but they are as hit and miss as the weather. This way you can enjoy a joint account with your partner for 9.99 and you can pay 2x 7.99 in 3 months. And they do so in the midst of a crisis where people have other things on their mind than dealing with a hit and miss bank that only thinks about planting trees. I think they only think of their own money tree.
I can withdraw money without any additional cost wherever I go. If I have a problem, support is there right away. Very cool app.
Good bank! Unfortunately here on google vague reviews which are no reviews at all but "questions" asked by people who do not know anything about how this works !! This is Google people, not the customer service of this company !!!!!

I thought, i found just the best new century of banking on earth. But it was just an FOOL! AN company just picked up money from my Credit card, but my CVC code was changed! After contacting support, they just tell you that this is possible and i have nothing to do!! Keep away!
Closing accounts on basis of a 'conflict of interest' with them or their clients is the most ridiculous thing I have heard of. I had hope of a fully mobile bank, based on the newest of tech. This has been the most disappointing banking experience I have ever had. Would not recommend this bank to anyone. (Unless you know people that work there.)
After creating an accound at bunq bank, I had 2100 deposited into the account
After I had withdrawn 500 from the account it was blocked now so 3 weeks later and in the past two weeks bunq has made promises several times

Together with five others I started my own company and we applied for an account at Bunq. That was a bad plan! At first it went well because the aid investors were able to top up the account, so that products could be purchased. However, it is NOT POSSIBLE to pay with the account of Bunq. As a result, offers cannot be paid, which gets us into trouble. In addition, we have tried several times to contact Bunq, but that was of no use, as they are not available by phone and do not respond to their emails. I therefore do NOT recommend this bank.
I am looking for a new bank privately. I have some questions about the cost structure. For this I want to personally consult with a Bunq bank employee, unfortunately this is not possible. I didn't get the answers I was looking for on the Chat.
New app that you need to bank with bunq is impossible. Especially if, like me, you have a number of completely different companies / foundations in bunq. Adjusting budgets etcetera suddenly no longer works, in short, at the moment I would advise against anyone with a company to start banking with bunq. I hope it will be better soon, otherwise I may switch back to another bank after 3 years of being very satisfied.

BUNQ is heaven for thieves. WARNING: WATCH OUT FOR ANYONE SENDING YOU A LINK TO PAY WITH BUNQ. DO NOT DO IT. I just got robbed for 200 euros, and a whole site I read about the same bank account of this bunq scammer is filled with him stealing via BUNQ!
And BUNQ HAS NOT DONE anything about it!

Do not do business with these scamming business that is a perfect safe haven for scammers and thieves. I find it it INSANE that this scamming bunch can call themselves a business. I t wont be long, I hope that people realise this and stop doing business with them!
The most ridiculous thing ever. We created a new company, decided to join bunq, tested it on personal accounts, we got charged for the bunq account and 2 days later we received a message that our account is closed due to "suspicious activity". The only activity on our account was a 10 deduction for the monthly cost of BUNQ.
Wouldn't advice this bank to anyone. Better go to KNAB.
I opened an account with them because they were supposedly the best option for opening an account for a holding. Now I can't acces my account and all my attempts at contact are unanswered and my holding needs to transfer money. Shame on you BUNQ, you're a bank, live up to the challenge.

I opened a business account and got 2000 euros transferred in it. Now its almost 1 week that i am not getting access to my account. Emails are replied after 2 2 days. They dont have a phone number or other mean of communication. When ever they feel they reply but dont give any solition to problem. I have a very bad experience. Will never trust online bank again

If you get an ideal request with your bunq not going to pay you have lost your money.

The app was fine, after the v3 update it's completely unintuitive and only focused on planting trees. Also they converted all free accounts to paid without asking for permission first, couldn't get a refund for this through support so here is the 1 star review that you guys asked for.
I've never been with a bank that makes saving and managing finances so easy. I LOVE their app. I LOVE being able to create savings accounts, transfer money and see financial targets progress and be met. Super positive experiences with Bunq. Very happy.
bunq got my interest since the very first time I saw it. There has been something special about the company - what they do, how they present each-other and what they want to achieve. I joined the team a few months ago and there was no time that I have regretted doing so :) So many hard working and passionate people trying to change the world. Love it!

You have full control of your money, they make banking easier than the rest, expensive? If you think all the features you get and you used them wisely I don t think it s expensive at all.
My experience with bunq is top notch. I use bunq Premuim for about 1.5 years. A lot has happened during this time too. Bunq is a bank of the future, I think. It offers a class app - I have no crashes, is innovative, quick and easy to use.
But what I find even better is the fact that bunq does a lot better than traditional banks. For example 25 accounts, all in real time, MasterCard for the world and Maestro for the home plus Apple Pay and ZeroFX which I really like. In addition, bunq has a great community (together) where ideas are collected and implemented. I give you all the stars keep up the good work.
As a student I find it difficult to keep my finances in order, accounts are often overlooked and my bank is certainly not the best at communicating with its customers. Many difficult words, long procedures and malfunctioning apps make banking a very boring event. I was hesitant to switch to a different bank, but each bank was pretty much the same, only one lured you in with a student account and the other with a personal card where you could put a picture. Well gosh gosh, what an innovation. As a young person, I need a bank that is personal and real with you. Where banking becomes fun again and budgets easy. Then Bunq came my way, exactly the bank I need! No difficult language, long procedures or a malfunctioning app; but just great customer service, inspiring story and innovation that you say to you. Now I simply budget and I have divided my finances into accounts and even linked my bank card to an account for normal expenses and for when I need clothes again: my account is also linked to that account by another PIN. I'm looking forward to update # 8 Bunq, keep it up!
It leaves a lot to be desired, I am blocked for 4 days with no unlock option, I did not get a response and I cannot find a service option by phone. In the App everything goes wrong ??? For bunq receiving transfer was easy, and for me to transfer to another account, you do not have an option ??? I need a valid contact to contact bunq.

I made a sepa transfer from Germany to my Bunq. Where it had already been in my account with every other bank. Bunq decided to freeze my bank transfer. Now I have to demonstrate and explain where the money comes from (of course I was able to demonstrate all this). But Bunq's support is very slow and it can take up to 48 hours for them to make a decision. It is also absurd that you have to communicate in English at a Dutch bank. If my money is not released, I put my lawyer on it. As soon as it is free I immediately cancel Bunq. Bunq Bank Of the Free is not right. Dictator bank is it!

This company is only good for fresh graduates looking to gain experience. But if you are an experienced professional, this isn't the company for you. There's not much to learn here, and you'll have a very limited room for advancement. Management is also traditional. They don't take any suggestions from employees, and giving your opinion is frowned upon. Management doesn't care about the employees.
Transparent bank with focus on great features, I have 6 bank accounts with my girlfriend, doing budgeting never was easier.
Beware of this bank. They will charge you ridiculously expensive fees without notifying you at all. they will bugged you to go premium for added benefits and everything but once you give in, they'll rip you off. They are a scammer disguised in a bank app.
I was a bit doubtful at first about the price but after the trial period and a few months of experience I can fairly say that this is the best banking app I ve used so far! Simple and effective. Worth every penny!
I am deeply disappointed in this bank. I am a "first-time customer" but unfortunately it was only fun as long as it went well. And it's not going well ... and that costs me more than 300.
Direct debits payments from your own account to Bunq are lost or are not processed, failed direct debits are simply processed but later reversed ... it becomes a puzzle.
And then there is no customer service: difficult to find and nothing to solve. Not the back office either. As a customer you have to figure it out yourself but you are not taken seriously.

we made a payment via bunq. apparently the recipient was a crook. When inquiring with BUNQ it appears that they cannot tell which account number our payment was deposited on. Consequently, it seems like it is particularly easy for scammers to hide behind a BUNQ payment link? Let this be a warning to everyone not to make payments via BUNQ if you are not very sure that you know the recipient. Or can someone tell us how we can make an attempt to find our 544 euros?
The company culture is very specific, and you'll have to adhere to it strictly if you want to stay long. This means having no work-life balance because the company culture maintains that work always comes first. The non flexible working hours also worsen the already stressful work environment.
Finally a bank that cares about people. Keep being awesome.
They charge several euros a month to just have a bank accounts. Also, the basic card is valid in the USA or Europe, nowhere else. Dissatisfied!

Tried bunq after hearing that you can make a Joint account really easily. I am impressed with how easy it was. Now my boyfriend and I share an account together.

Bunq, the bank that is NOT about you but about themselves and their social media ... New update is terrible. Nothing is more clear, overview is gone, many bugs with initial update to v3, Instagram feed in the app ... I want a stable version for my banking affairs where I have a clear overview of my banking affairs and not an app where social media and marketing is number 1 and my financial affairs are 2. V2 was an almost perfect app with top functionalities. How can you lose your loyal customers within 2 days. Bunq knows how to do it with 1 update.

Ladies and gentlemen, please do not fall for these Bunq scam practices. At first glance it all looks very nice and innovative. Banking the future. Nice to be able to use two bank accounts with a debit card and to be able to adjust your pin code without any problems. But here comes the problem: As soon as you run into problems, you don't have decent customer service or an office where you can step in and ask your question. You will not get much wiser through the support department either. My experience is that I have been to Prague and used the Bunq credit card there. Handy as a credit card, until a month later Bunq debits an amount of 249 euros from my account with the excuse that there was a bug in the system and that they have incorrectly credited 249 euros to my account. However, I have never seen a refund of 249 euros on my bill, but they now claim to be. As soon as you ask a question via support you will receive an answer in English and you will receive a very short and business-like answer that it was. This is not right!! As soon as I ask if they want to sort this out, they don't start, because what they say would be right and what I claim is not. They indicate that I have to export my account statement. As soon as I do that, it is as unclear as the plague that I cannot do anything about it. Each amount has been debited twice and credited twice and debited again. Very weird. So you don't get much wiser via the support function. In my eyes they are scammers and I should never have started on this nonsense couch called bunq.
As a fanatic Bunq user I am very disappointed in Bunq and will immediately cancel my bunq account. Never again Bunq for me. Nice a bank I can trust such as ING or Rabo.

The slogan with 5 minutes is a business account, what you forget to mention is that you first have to create a private account, so that already lasts all evening and with a large countdown counter it appears that this can take up to 24 hours. The method of identification is also very belabest, through a poorly understandable lady, speaking English, but that is certainly not her mother tongue, you will be told that various ID proofs must be shown, so do not do this in the evening, because then there is too little light. and an ID cannot be determined. Also the identification by bank transfer is not recommended. In addition to the ridiculous amount of 20.00, this is also possible with a cent, you are completely dependent on how your bank displays the name. And a bank account without a bank card is not possible according to bunq, .....
in short, before we have opened an account at all, 1 big nightmare. Just go to the bank anyway, more expensive yes, of course, but better for your heart.

My account, with my hard earned money in it, has been frozen. I don't know what happened! I have not received notification about anything. If this is not a scam, I don't know what you call this scheme. Making people open an account with you , trusting you with their money, and then getting their money? Customer support is useless. I don't think I would get my money back. This is clearly their modus operandi to get money from people!

For several months now I have downloaded the "bunq" app on my smartphone, as it is used to say Mobile Bank. Download the app and in a few minutes you have an account with IBAN and BIC / SWIFT, and in less than two weeks at home you get the card linked to the account. It is not only, as one might think, a fashion, a novelty, and much more. Open an account, in a couple of minutes, the card arrives home, there are no queues to wait and the costs are, if not zero, minimal. Obviously, if you pay more attention, you can find a bank that always costs you nothing and you will forget the classic banks and you will find a completely new and far more effective system.
If bunq wasn t invented somebody had to do it! great banking experience so far.
Don\t trust this poser bank. Just gets your money when you open an account with them. After that, you're done. You won't be able to access your account, ant that includes your money.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!! absolute con artists!! no phone number and HIDDEN CHARGES of 99 for a new card that they refuse to refund even if you no longer want the card...
When you signup you get multiple NL IBANs to use for savings, etc. It s really helpful if you want to actually separate purchases and actually start saving money.
