when i call UK embassy i am not getting any information from embassy .
customer services is too poor and way of treating the customers is not good way .
What my suggestion is employees of customer care need more patience to listen customer voice, if it's not possible then provide better solutions & better way to communicate the embassy.

Entry Clearance Officer don't even know how to read!!!! They are acting like a stupid. They are spoiling the name of Great Britain. I wanted to give stars in negative but I don't have that option here...I think they should start Appeal systems in Court on Family Visit Visa.

The British High Commission at New Delhi should be renamed as the British Low Commission! A bunch of morons work at this visa office who have no clue about the immigration rules of UK. Their people are rude, they never reply to emails and give false assurances that customers will be contacted.
They refused my Tier 2 General (work permit) visa in spite of giving me full 120 points for the visa. The most ridiculous thing that I found on the refusal letter was that they quoted the paragraph of immigration rules which is used for Tier 4 visa (student visa) application. So, they quoted student visa rules in their refusal letter for a work permit visa. Idiots at the British High Commission have no idea what rules are meant for which category of visa. Please get some sense in your so called 'brains' rather than taking money and destroying peoples' hopes and aspirations.
Pathetic customer service (customer service doesn't exist here).

I got an offer from the daimond toyota in derby england uk afet all th process the company has mailed me that you have been selected and gave me all offer appointment and confirmation letter too and the high comissioner numbers and email id too but that person is straightly asking me to pay 34500 amount to his cashier account to start and open file which makes me to feel it is fraud becaausse non of the embassy persons are allowed to contact people before visa interview as the letter from visa office will be sent you then only u can enter embassy it is fraud .

Why do the BHC think that the person who apply for a visit visa to UK will never leave the UK ?? No doubt UK is a beautiful country but there are so many like me and my wife who love their motherland beside all the difficulties and poverty.
BHC simply refused visa for my wife saying "....... BECAUSE I AM NOT SATISFIED THAT YOU INTEND TO LEAVE THE UK "
We just wanted there should be someone with her from the family during the time our daughter delivering her first child.
I think BHC should think over on such request.

The mobile operator handling the call is damn rude. i don't know how the physical office work, it might be a very efficient place but a mobile operator that side is the face of the British Embassy. They should be taught speaking etiquette and customer handling skill.

Has a completely non transparent visa application process. Can't believe they are in 2017. Handing over all immigration services to VFS doesn't absolve them of abject disregard for their opaque system, lack of communication, lengthy processing times in terms of immigration queries

Stupid ass. Never reply to their emails.. Their phone number does not work or goes a switch board. Person on the otherside does not have a clue. They still have my marriage certificate.

Flat out refusal for a simple visitor visa despite providing ample proof of savings and a return ticket and information of where I would be staying. Plus immigration history in passport (including a US visa) proves that there has been a lot of overseas travel AND subsequent return to my own country.

Reason for refusal states that there was no proof I could support my stay and that the BHC "couldn't be sure I planned to return."

Apparently there are concerns those of marriageable age will try to get married in the UK and stay there. Though understandable, the BHC seems incapable or more likely just disinterested in performing an evaluation and concluding that a well traveled person has no desire to set up home in their country.

As a result, I've been left with the impression that the officers who work at the BHC would rather simply refuse entry on a bogus basis than do their job properly.
There is no way to contest this decision and the BHC phone number might as well not exist for all the help they provide.

Please be aware of these issues before making your travel plans or you will suffer some major financial loss, just as I did.

Don't give a single rupees to any company when they are asking money for visa fees and others they're all fraud,they are giving you an appointment letter for celebrity cruises,hotel and many others company.

For 6 month visa

I lost my passport during a connecting flight from Isle of Man to London and had another flight to catch for returning back to India the same day in the evening. I was horrified for what might happen as I didn t have any stay options and my Visa was about to expire in 24 hours.

I called the emergency helpline number of the public relations department and a gentleman there took on my case. He was a very calm and supportive individual who calmed me down and laid out the next steps very clearly for me with the time they will take in order for me to be able to make my flight for the evening.

While he suggested where I could get pictures clicked and get all paperwork printed, he notified the passport officers at the high commission about my case and had the case ready for when I arrived at the embassy.

The staff inside at the passport office was super helpful again and processed everything at lightning speeds.

Just because of his calm and composure and clear guidelines I was able to get a brand new passport within 3 hours and now am heading home !

I can not thank the Indian High Commission enough for helping me out and feel very proud of being an Indian. Kudos !

Very unhelpful. In the world of technology today, tracking your Visa Application, is not possible. You have to contact the UK Visa office for a fee and get info. Not very forthcoming and helpful

After realising that my sons passport needs renewing to use it for a trip to Abu Dhabi i wasn't helped very much by the consulate. I needed to know if he has to be there in person to make the application. The woman I spoke to just said "all information is on the website". I was looking at the website at the time and informed here that it doesn't say the conditions when its for a child's renewal. In the end I gave up and realised that I will just have to make an appointment in Delhi and presume we'd have to be there in person. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. being pointed to another website when i want to speak to a person is not customer services. God help me should i have a real problem whilst living in India. Poor poor show.

I applied for family visit visa for myself, my wife and my granddaughter and planned our journey on 29/04/2017. Visa was issued to all of us on 30/03/2017. Visa validity printed on my wife and granddaughter"s visa is in from 29/04/2017 TO 29/10/2017
But on my visa the validity is printed is from 29/04/2014 TO 29/10/2014
i have been writing to their visa office regularly but they are not correcting their mistakes.

I am highly disappointed how the High Comm is functioning and unable to resolve their own technical issues. Highly incompetent team. The contact numbers for visa applications go engaged most of the time, the call drops if and only if you eventually get through and inspite of being charged in pounds there is no solution to the technical fault of their own system. Over a lac of rupees are stuck with them and there has been no proper revert as yet. I have been writing emails and calling them since 11 days now.

I am very disappointed by the way BHC handles each case. Mine was a very straight forward case with genuine issues for family visit to uk and I have applied in fast track by paying extra sum. But there was no proper communication, response and my application is still in process since 7 working days. So pls beware of fast track service and assume that like other govt organisations here things will be slow and cumbersome.
