UK embassy i guess recruits idiots, i mean what nonsense reason to reject my visa and that too twice and what do you think i have some interest to live in your country and work thr.. i am not interested, i have everything i want here so i dnt think your country can give me. So keep you S%^* visa with you. I am not interested to any more travel to your country..
There is no customer service, they will keep you hanging.. it doesn't matter if you applied non priority. They will charge you for every single service which is not at all helpful !

Distant, unhelpful and generally uninterested. Not involved in people at all, just able to spiel off rules and regulations for one size fits all. Very disappointing given they are kept going by us, the tax payer. They are our servants and need to remember that. "We don't speak to people on the phone" I was told. "We only deal with queries by email". What they omitted to say was that they don't answer emails for 2 weeks. Naturally, we, the paying public, have nothing better to do than sit here waiting for The British High Commission! Who do they think they are? Jack Alexander-Reece. United Kingdom.
Not helpfull at all ... i call the number twice ... n all they say is all info is there in the website ... but i dnt get it ... my answers r not there ... n instead of guiding me they gave me a helpline number of uk .... i hv to apply student visa from delhi to uk ... so wat the hell they kw about process in india ..... m v disappointed....... not even a small gesture of showing or providing help
My friend who is a British citizen, lost her passport in Lucknow and the man on the phone in UK, gave her an appointment three weeks hence, and asked her to visit Delhi for an interview. Now she is going to visit Delhi twice. Once to interview and then to collect her passport. Doesnt make sense. They wont even let British nationals into the High Comission without an appointment. At least treat your own people with some respect, instead of being so full of yourself
I apply visit visa for my mum. We are British citizen my wife, son and doughter leaving London last 17 year. I have apply visit visa to my mom and they refuse. Reson given she will not going back thire own country. My dad is not traveling with my mom and she is 64 years old. This Delhi U.K. Embassy staff need proper training from U.K. Government. One thing I want to say I am not from India. But my self and my Indian friend apply visa and Indian friend parents got visit visa but I can't. we make all support document exactly same application.
They( Delhi embassy) looking for country and then they decided. If you are not from India you will very rare to get visa. Same on you Delhi uk embassy staff.
The worst operator handles the calls . No sense at all . The way she talk over the phone is ridiculous and on top of that she put the phone down on me .
Please trained your staff so they can lean how to speak politely.

The most unhelpful people I have come across. They say they are here to help and support British Citizens, but they never help. The never take calls and emails are never responded for weeks.
I had to apply for a British Passport for my new born baby in India, and they never provided any support. They just say we have to contact the passport team in UK and give us an email address. The passport team in UK says, it is the job of the High Commission as they cannot interfere in the High Commission's activities. They never give an appointment to visit personally, and say we cannot walk-in without an appointment. So we have to just send an email and wait indefinitely.
They want us to submit all our original documents, and do not give any timescales about when they will send the originals back. They expect both the parents to stay back in the country for 16 weeks, as the originals are kept with them. They neither accept notarised photocopies nor allow us to visit personally to get the photocopy attested by their own staff.
Really pathetic..no updates..no tracking..nothing.at all..just wait..for what ever is in store for u..totally ones luck.
I got an appointment letter from midland oil company last week , and afer signing the agreement letter and all they gave a nunber of some one named Andrew walmark from.visa work permit department, i called him and asked the procedure he asked me to send my passport copy and appointment letter copy , and asked me to transfer 35,000 for visa processes. Is he relaly working there , i want to know wether he is a fraud and cheating me by the name of that company. Pls let me know about it

Delhi High Commission doesn't solve problems but add stress.....Visa records if not kept by them then, where on Earth would civilians google their lost visas....Gives a number to contact but never picks up the call.....Just keeps us in dilemma and makes u wait and wait and wait .....If time is important to them then , it is to us as well....Go to hell!

The mobile operators in the British high commission have no sense of responsibility to his job. I had to wait and listen to the bell ringing for atleast 3-4 minutes to speak to the operator and when he picked the phone and I gave him my question, he replied rudely that everything's available on the website, go and check. When I told him that I have already checked there and I wasn't able to find answer to my question so he replied harshly that go and check again on the website and ended the call. It was like just 30-50 seconds for the call. The waiting time was even more than the speaking time.
